Struts Problem: How to use multi-ActionForm ?

In an webapp, there will ofen be more than one ActionForm at one session.
So in the struts-config.xml, u can config as :

<form-beans>
<form-bean name="form01" type="ActionForm01" />

<form-bean name="form02" type="ActionForm02">
<form-property name="language" type="java.lang.String" />
<form-property name="country" type="java.lang.String" />
<form-property name="page" type="java.lang.String" />

</struts-config>But, how does the Action's execute() method know which ActionForm will be past to it?

}The argument ActionForm from references to which AtionForm? ActionForm01 or ActionForm02?
By the way,in the struts-config.xml,each form-bean tag has an attribute "name", i.e: <form-bean name="form01" type="ActionForm01" />
What's the use of this "name"?

If you look further down in the struts-config.xml , u will find action mapping. There, you will mention the attribute "name" of the form-bean to represent the corresponding form bean , which is used in the action class.

How to use multi select in a query report

I defined a lov. This lov retuns name and a id. I want to use the result of this multi select in my query.
I always get invalid number when I choose two items of the select. When I debug I see that the return value of the multi select is 1:2. How can I change the seperator : in , I tried the following but this does't work.

How to use multi prompts using java script in FF3.0*

to hide multi-go-button in prompts and it works for IE 7 and firefox 2.0* with 10.3.4.1.
Now since 10.1.3.4.1 is certified with firefox 3.0* ,when i use this same script in firefox 3.0* for my prompts it doesn’t work .
Any idea why ? Please help me with this,as i want to use this hide go button feature in firefox 3.0* too.
Are these scripts browser to browser incompatible ? If yes from where can i get the script for firefox 3.0* ?

In the 'Button Attributes' field of the button enter 'id='thisButton'.
Modify the button template to include the substitution string #BUTTON_ATTRIBUTES# . This should be put in the anchor tag in the template defintion.
Modify your Javascript to reference the above id as

Sorry if my English isn't fluent.
Some of photoshop styles have multiple styles icon in style tab that should to use together, I do below steps but it doesn't show effect style as psd file.(in psd file effect style is true but when I do below steps my effect style is not true).
Steps that I do:
1. I insert style from preset manager.
2. I apply first icon style to first layer.
3. Then I duplicate first layer.
4. Then I apply second icon style to duplicated layer.
I do this 4 steps but my effect is not true.

Thanks for getting back to me. My reply may sound lazy, but whoever made these styles should be able to better explain how to use it. It just seems one layer covers the other, and I don't want to guess at the settings.

Struts Problem :: How to show data into Grid

hi to all..
I am having problem in Struts/EJB. I have to show all the data of a table into a grid(Table in jsp)
i.e. fire a query "select * from <table name >" and show the output into the respective table.
Earlier it works fine because the table contains minimum data(500-1K) and did not take too much time to load into grid but now the data in that table goes upto 80K-90K rows and it takes too much time to populate the table.
problem is How can I minimize the populating time of table ?
I want solution like fetch more rows option in DB2, but my problem is how to maintain previous data into session because every time its a new request and I don't want to keep my bean into a session.

I use *"fetch first n rows only"* clause in query; In DB2 Database there is no mysql database type functionality "*Select column1,column2 from table1 +Limit n,m+*" clause which is use to fetch rows exists between n and m.
mysql Limit clause didn't work in DB2. Here fetch first n rows only( where n starting from 0th row to the number specified) works but didn't get desirable results.

How to use multi queries inside the RTF file

Hi all,
I develope a data source in report developer 10g, and use it to create the RTF files... I have some files wich contains more than 1 query. how can I refer to the fileds in the other queries in side the RTF file, because it's bring the filed from the first query by default??

But that wont work for my case. the problem that I have actually is in RTF.
for example:
I have 3 qeuries. A,B & C. A: contains the employee data. B: his Earnings and C: his Deductions.
in the RTF file it shows me only A contents. wich means it's not entring B & C loops, notice I add <?for-each:B_GROUP_NAME?> and same for C also.
all my other reports wich have single qeury worked fine.

How to use Multi Thread to make a animation

Currently i am writing a router simulator using Java SE 1.4.2. I am facing a problem that is I cannot use multithread to update my Jframe animation.
Here i give my approach.
My idea is I used a JPanel in JFrame and I used Graphics g draw all background in Jpanel and add it into Jframe. It works since there is no animation invovled. I want to do some animation based on this background which i draw. But all animation should be controled by other threads due to i want other threads can control all animation. But i hit a error which is nullpointexception. The reason looks like which i used another to do animation, it cannot find the reference which is point to the Jpanel and Jframe. May u teach me a correct way to do multi threads animation in Jframe? thanks.

URL iView Problem - How to Use URL Parameter of Type 'User Information'

I am currently working on integration of backend-functionality with the help of an URL iView.
I want to use a parameter of type 'User Information'. In SAP Help Library it is said, that it is possible to set the value of a parameter according to a dynamic query on the users attributes. (Link SAP HELP)
It is also said, that one can retrieve the Logon ID of the users account.(Attribute Name: j_user -> Link SAP HELP Attributes )
I can choose the type 'User Information' but i don't know what to specify in the field 'Value'.

But if i am calling the application this way, he doesn't retrieve the Logon-ID of the account, but he just uses the 'j_user' as value for the parameter.

This is not correct; on the help.sap.com-page concerning the URL-iView-Parameters, it is printed that "other attributes (general, account, group, role) are not supported". The j_user attribute is part of the account group, so - not supported.
For your needs, it may be a better choose to use the AppIntegrator, which offers such a possibility by using "<User.LogonUid>"; see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/36/5e3842134bad04e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm and https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e0cbc309-ff89-2a10-8bad-bcde4c152ecb

Struts problem with forwards using BEA portlet

My problem is, I would like to know if there is a way to pass a variable to the path properties
of the <forward /> tag inside BEA portlet, for example: <forward name="Action" path="/Action.do?reqCode=select"/> because this forward works fine outside the portlet.

How to use an object's paint method

I have created a class imagePanel which extends a jPanel to display an image. When I create a new imagePanel object I pass it an image argument which is used to paint my image on the jPanel, so far so good. I don't wish to have to continuously create new ImamePanels to display new images so I thought I could make a set_Image method that would set a new image in an exising imagePanel object. This is where I run into problems how to use the existing object paint method to replace the image. I tried this without success:

imageX = myImage; // imageX is the image that is painted by the imagePanel object's paint method
paint(g);
Something must be wrong on how I access the paint method. Thanks for any help.

I am doing programs in sturts. My program
My program purpose is to retrieve data from the
database.My database is MySql. I know that we can
write connection code in Action Class, it is ok for
some less prog's if i want to use the sane connection
code in more Action Classes it is vasting time and
so.I don't think it's a good idea to put database code in Action classes. (That's one of the biggest drawbacks of Struts - it's completely tied to Actions, HTTP, and the Web.) Better to move that code into plain old Java objects and let the Actions call them.
You'll be able to test them without the container or Struts, and you'll be able to reuse those objects in other, non-Web contexts.
So i want to use <data-sources> tag that is available
in struts-config.xml. I know that thre is tag withThis is the wrong place to configure a connection pool, too. Struts should have nothing to do with it. What if you change Web frameworks to WebWork or Spring? The connection pool should be configured in the container that hosts your app, not Struts.
