My Name is Ryan Laverty,
I had a problem with my Subscription to Photoshop Elements 13 Student & Teacher.
I bought it thinking that I could buy it not knowing that you had to show info about student information which is a problem for my school as they do not have any
student card or anything that would show on my report card.
I need to know if I can cancel the subscription and get the money back from that subscription.
Then I'll get the other Photoshop element 13.
Or if you could, give me more choices to give information to show im a student.

How can I host more websites on BC with student/teacher CC plan?

I have a student/teacher subscription to Creative Cloud.
I am using Adobe Muse to create websites, which only allows me to host 5 sites. Is there a way to add more sites without upgrading to a non-student/teacher plan?

If you plan on producing many websites for clients or yourself you should consider creating a Partner Account for BC. There's a free partner account for BC that gives you access to a centralized place to manage all your client websites.
If you upgrade to a paid or premium paid partner account you can unlock other feature like full white-labelling of the BC Admin and email notifications, etc. Paid partners can also accrue a percentage of their client's monthly hosting costs and if you refer another paid partner to the program you will get a cut of their earnings too.

Student/Teacher edition for commercial use?

I received the student/teacher version of the CS6 Master collection from my school which I am currently enrolled at and I have recently started a production company with some colleagues and will be heavily using Premier Pro, After Effects and other applications for our business. We will be making money for our services so my question is will it be ok for me to use the student/teacher edition or will I need to get a CC subscription for commercial use?

Yes, I have seen this page many times...but what are the software details...beyond
"The latest Photoshop, Illustrator, and more, plus cloud features"?
What is the "and more" mean? Also it states at the top Complete...what does that mean? What are the creative cloud apps and the desktop apps?

How best to implement Student / Teacher Pricing?

I would like to sort customers into groups after they sign up for an account with my site.
Student, Teacher, Other, etc.
My company gives special pricing to these groups. We send out a catalog each year listing this pricing for these groups.
After the customer logs in, I would like pricing to change/update based on that customer group.
Displaying the Original Price above / beside the new discounted price would be a plus as well.
Does BC have this capability?

Hi Lambeosaurus, I think the best and quickest way I achieved this was:
1. Create your registration form for Teachers/Students to log in.
2. After they are registered you can go to their account tabs and Select the option SUBSCRIPTIONS>Catalogue Discounts and apply the discounts for your catalogs.
Secondly but maybe harder is to create a new registering form and automatically assign the users to have their discounts as subscriptions.
You will maybe have to create a new WORKFLOW for this!

Renew student/teacher discount after the first year?

G'day.
In the terms it states that the subscription fee will change to the then standard fee after 12 months, I was wondering if the student/teacher discount is renewable after your first year so you can continue paying the discounted fee as long as you are eligible for it? I am a teacher and I use adobe products occasionally.

that depends whether you were using the subscription cc version or the perpetual license version.
if you can open, for example, pse, click help and if you see activate/deactivate you have the perpetual license version and do not need to renew. if you see sign in/sign out, you have the subscription version and will need to maintain your subscription to continue to use your cc program(s).

I purchased lightroom 4 Student Teacher Edition. I am not a student. Will I be able to use it or do I need to return to Best Buy?

That is not correct. We are still selling CS6 software for quite some time. Where did you see an indication otherwise?
Regarding Dynamic Link: In the current versions of the applications, no suite is required. For example, if you have the single-application subscriptions for both Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC, Dynamic Link works between them. Dynamic Link is still limited to working between applications that share the same major version (i.e., CS6 with CS6, CC with CC, and so on).

I've just ordered Photosop CS5 Extended Student & Teacher, I want to know how many times I can install from the one cd because I'm worried that my laptop may "die" and then I'll have to buy a whole new copy of Photoshop.

Upgrading to OS10.9.2 I lost my Office 2004 Student Teacher program. Can I reinstall Office or does 9.2 upgrade no longer supports 2006 Student Teacher? Tnx,

When upgrading from OS 10.8.6 to 10.9.2 I lost my MS Office 2004 Student Teacher editon software.
This included Word, Excel, Power Point and Entourage.
Is this because 9.2 does not support this older Office program? Do I need to up grade Office or do I just need to reinstall 2004 Office.
I no longer can enter any of my spreadsheets and its a disaster for me so far.
Can anyone ease my mind? Thanks. Jack

Office 2004 and Other Applications Don't Work in Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks
If you have Office 2004 which is a PPC-only suite, it will not work in Lion/Mountain Lion. You need to upgrade to Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion/Mountain Lion.
You may want to consider as well:

As for other software, any PPC-based software will not run in Lion or Mountain Lion because Rosetta is no longer part of OS X. You will need to upgrade to Intel versions of the software.
(Access to the Mac App Store requires Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or higher and an Apple ID.)

Adobe Creative suite 5.5 design standard-student teacher license error

Trying to add my adopt creative suite 5.5 design standard-student teacher to my new computer since my old one crashed, but the new computer has no CD Drive. We transferred the files to an SD card, moved to desktop but it won't load. I also tried to download the online version but when it gets to the part where I add the license it errors stating serial number not valid for this version. Read everything I can find any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Dear Jeff, it seems I have a similar problem. I have a CS 5.5. Design Standard on CD, student edition. Now my new laptop does not have a CD drive.
I have been trying to find a download at the Adobe site, but under the heading of CS 5.5. it gives access to a newer version. So I guess my license wouldn't work (I did not bother to try this).
So any help is welcome:

Serial number is invalid when trying to install Creative Suite 6 (Student/Teacher Edition) on my new mac?

I have deactivated CS6 on my old laptop, but every time I try to enter the serial number to re-activate it tells me that it is invalid. Is there a period of time that I have to wait before it becomes able to be activated again? It's been about 24 hours. Or could the problem be that it was previously installed on a PC, but now I have upgraded to a mac? Is there any way to fix this? Please help! Thank you!

Normally a PC serial number is not valid for a Mac version. I don't know if the following holds for Student/Teacher editions though there should be something similar...
