Style:Margin added to P tag in Contribute 3
I'm cutting and pasting text from a basic text editor into
Contribute 3 and for whatever reason it seems intent on adding
"style='margin-bottom: 0;'" or " style='margin-top:0;
margin-bottom: 0;'" to my p tags. This is interfering with my CSS
styles. Why is this happening and how can I get rid of it?
There is no instance of this manual style in the template
that I'm using to constuct the page. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Does this problem go away in Contibute 4?

There's an option in Contribute 4, not sure about 3, where
you can tell Contribute to use inline css or just plain p tags.
Try going to administer website, highlight a role, click edit
role settings, select editing on the left menu, then under the
paragraph spacing heading select the "Two lines" radio button.
Not sure if its the same in Contribute 3, but I believe the
option is there somewhere.

No, but there is a way to export <strong>: with your bold text selected, create a new character style (Window > Character Styles), then double click it or use the Style Options context menu. In the dialog that appears, select Span Tag: <strong> Important. Muse will export any text to which you apply this character style as a <strong/> element.

Mysterious FM- RH style mapping override with span tag
I have been working in a super clean FM and RH project that is has one to one mappings for all my styles in the FM to same named styles in RH, just to be sure I do not mess up. Still, though, I seem to get a mystery mapping. For my bullets and lists, RH is adding a span tag with font set to Times Roman. I cannot find *any* css that has Times Roman. I've checked things like my character tags, my cross reference tags, etc and cannot find a correlation. Where would this be added if it's not in my FM Format definitions and not in my RH Style definitions. I tried reimporting the book to see if it needed a tickle of the project mappings template but that didn't help.
I'm attaching some images in hopes someone has ideas. The example does not appear to be times roman in Design view, but in more complex topics it's pretty obvious.
I have so many hacks for single sourcing now, about ready to give up.

I did not even notice that the span tag ended on the spaces, so it can't be what's causing the odd previews I'm seeing. So it seems my original question is not well thought out, so I'm going to retest with some other style changes.
Still, though I'm wanting to follow up on getting rid of the Times tag anyway. The bullets are always defined as Verdana. Bullet is set to use "Default Font" while BulletLevel2 uses "Bold" (the char def for Bold is also Verdana). Is there some place I have to map "tabs" to not be Times? I dont think it's the Default Font issue because bullet 2 uses Bold.

CF on server adding an /html tag to doc!
Hi all,
I'm not sure what the culprit is here. I'm looking at a file
on my localhost that renders fine. But when I push it to my live
server, it's got a big break between the header and body content
(which is a .cfm template include).
As far as I can tell, the problem is that the javascript
added on the server by CF is adding a </html> tag to the very
beginning of my file, causing the break.
Here's the code I see when there's a problem:

Adding alt text tags in InDesign (and Acrobat Pro)
I am having real difficulty adding alternative text tags. I created an INDD doc with rollover buttons linked to URLs firstly in InDesign CS4. I couldn't add alt text tags in CS4 so I then tried to add them in Acrobat X Pro but failed. Acrobat keeps wanting to class the PDF as a form. I then installed InDesign CS6 from the cloud and added alt text to the rollover buttons via object export options. However, these do not show when I export to PDF.
Can someone help me add alt text to my rollover buttons in my interactive PDF either in InDesign CS6 or in Acrobat Pro after I export it?In InDesign CS6, you just need to add descriptions to buttons. This is done in the buttons and forms panel:

I'm using Flash Builder 4.6, AIR 3.4 and I've made a DLL (e.g. ExtensionDll.dll) which needs to call functions in another DLL (e.g. DllUsedByExtensionDll.dll) . I've made sure my ANE is working with the ExtensionDll.dll already, so there are no issues with my actionscript code or my ANE packaging or my DLL compilation. However, once I start calling functions from the other DLL, it starts throwing me Error #3500. Even if I call this function (e.g. abc()) in ExtensionDll.dll, but I never actually use the function from actionscript, and I call another function (e.g. def()) from actionscript, the Error #3500 still appears, so it does not seem to depened on the whether the code is used or not.

Hitting CR puts p style=margin-top: 0 in HTMLEditorKit, how to change?
Hello all, I notice that when I hit enter in my JTextPane, java puts in
<p style="margin-top: 0">some text</p> around the line of text.
this looks fine in the JTextPane, but if I save the contents and view
in a web browser (or other html viewers) I see what appears to be a line break between each line. I believe this is because there is no bottom margin. When I add bottm margin style, I see one line after another with no emtpy lines in between them.
so my question is, how
can I change the action associated with hitting CR to insert
<p style='margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0'>some text</p>

That's not possible. Those 4 custom fields is all you can use.
There is a keywords field which you can utilise maybe. I think the tag for
it is .

How do I remove automatic margins when using list tags?
Hi there,
i'm trying to create a list of links on my webpage using Dreamweaver CS4. I've created a .li tag using CSS so that no bullets/numbers show up and i've then created .ul a:link, ul a:hover etc compound tags to make all list items into rollovers.
However, the text in the lists indents automatically (as if I have set some sort of margin) and is thus, out of line with the text above it. No margin/padding is set in any of the CSS elements so I am confused.

Can additional Canon EOS picture styles be added to Lightroom 3.6?
Additional picture styles such as Twilight, Autumn Hues and Studio Portrait can be added to Canon EOS cameras using the User Defined slots. They can be downloaded from http://web.canon.jp/imaging/picturestyle/file/index.html
Can these be added to the drop down list of profiles in Camera Calibration?Right...you'll have to shoot color charts with them and use those to create the profiles.
