Styling Object

I am embedding a Flash movie into my page with the following
and thought
I could style it with CSS like below:
<object
classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0"
width="340" height="290">
<param name="movie"
value="
http://www.inmanstories.com/movies/newplayer_holliday.cfm?name=holliday_centralstation">
<param name="quality" value="high">
<embed
src="
http://www.inmanstories.com/movies/vitalstream_standalone_player.swf?stream=holliday_centr alstation"
quality="high" pluginspage="
http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="340"
height="290"></embed>
</object>
#video_01 {
float: left;
width: 450px;
height: 323px;
background:#FFF url(../images/general/video_bg.jpg)
repeat-x;
border:1px #000;
border-style:none none solid none;
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
voice-family: "\"}\"";
voice-family: inherit;
height:322px;
#video_01 object {
padding: 0;
margin: 15px 0 0 54px;
Safari get it, IE and Firefox do not?
How is this done correctly?
Thanks for the help!
Brian

1. was worried you would say this...though in terms of trying to understand your suggestion for no.2 I found stroke styles which may help with what I was trying to do...
2. control panel? I found a hidden menu at the top right hand corner that seems to allow you to reset to 100% which is what I was looking for...
3. too bad
i can't honetly see why these functions wouldnt be in indesign...but ok
thanks

    Hi all,
    Are there guidelines on just how many objects (or what kind of objects) cause this error? Tips on this topic would be greatly appreciated as well.

    Ok, hopefully this helps others. In my case (and my case alone), the culprit was text - just like what was described in the #2 thread above (regarding text styles, etc).
    Truth is, I didn't even notice it (these are files from other people consolidated into a single document)...until I saw some text layers had that "meatball" in the plate indicator - btw, whatever it was doesn't show up in the Appearance pallete of Illustrator so add that to the mystery - I just dragged the meatball into the trash can - not really knowing what it was (and it didn't affect the appearance of the text either...go figure).
    Hopefully, an update/fix to FC make it friendlier as far as messaging is concerned. "Too many objects" is just too vague.
    I think a lot of users can share my  horrific experience:
    You go through the effort of organizing your Illustrator document for FC
    Now that its all neatly organized;
    You can't get it into FC with a vague message about "too many objects"
    You randomly start making changes to no avail (because of this vague message), and really, in my case, without that past thread I'm referring to, TEXT would be the last place I'd look.

  • Illustrator: Pixelisation when making my Logo Image Smaller

    Hi There,
    I am a hardcore Photoshop nut lol but I have recently approached learning how to use 'AI' to create my company Logo so that It can be Vector based and therefore Re-size it according to web and print as needed.
    You've proberly encountered this problem lots of times and i'm proberly being really silly, but I am having major problems re-sizing and it, causing pixelization on my Image, esp when going to 'Save for web and Devices'.
    I did have 'drop down shadow effects' on the Logo but I believe I have deleted all of that in Appearences, Incase it is the raster effects causing the problems... but even back at its seamingly basics, I'm still having the same problems.
    I tried making the Image smaller using the 'scale' & 'transform' tool before taking it into 'Save for Web and Devices' and even on my artboard it now looks pixelated..
    My Artboard size is 1200 x 1200 and in 'Save for Web and Devices' it says the Original Image size is 800 x 600 (which I believe is the size of the document I chose when starting my project)...
    I tried Playing with the PPI in the 'Document Raster Effects' settings, this doesn't seem to be making a difference.. Infact I'm sure playing with all the settings has almost caused my edges already to not be as sharp in view: 100% (RGB/Overprint preview) as they once were and I don't think I have the original document to go back too, due to thinking the Logo was fine, before relizing I had a problem in resizing & saving.
    I have tried all of the save options in 'Save for Web and Devices' but still the Image looks pixelised, even when ignoring previewer and going ahead to re-opening the saved Image.
    I'm using Adobe Illustrator CS3 if that's any help..
    Any help anyone can give me, Id be very greatfull, I've spent hours trawling the web tirelessly without any result and after being so happy with the Logo, it would be such a shame to have to delete it and try and start all over again either in Illustrater or back in Photoshop (where I know the quality won't be as good)..
    A massive Thanks to anyone who can help with this..

  • EJB and webservices

    Has anyone experienced problems with EJB published as a webservices when methods has parameters of type array?
    I tried also byte[], Byte[], Int[], int[]. I think that the webservice can not find the length of the parameter, because  when I use byte[] or int[] I get an ArrayOutOf Bounds, and when I use Byte[] or Int[] I get NumberFormatException. I use the soap dispatcher of the SAP J2EE to publish the EJB.
    When I use a portal service and a web service it works fine, but I have problems with multiple calls at the same time.
    If anyone has an ideal please help.
    Best Regards,
    Lucian.

    Hi,
    this information is extracted for the devmanual of the SAP J2EE 6.20. this is the one I'm using.
    By default the framework can automatically handle the following types:
    • All Java simple types - byte, short, int, long, char, float, double,
    boolean, along with their wrapper classes - Byte, Short, Integer, Long,
    Character, Float, Double, Boolean.
    • java.lang.String
    • Arrays of any value and dimension
    • Java Bean Styled objects – These are classes, which only meaningful
    parameters are either public variables, or get() or set() methods. By
    default this is used to handle all kinds of special objects, which do not have
    any DataMarshaller associated.
    • For all kinds of classes, which do not fall into these categories, there is a
    DataMarshalling framework, which allows serialization or deserialization and
    correct WSDL generation for any user class, by providing user
    DataMarshallers.
    I think the problem is not there..... As I said one of my solution doesn't really uses the portal platform for the server side, only the SAP J2EE server.
    Best Regards,
    Lucian.

  • Relevant Adobe Links Missing from This Forum

    Congratulations on the new user forums.  I noticed the tweet today calling attention to the links to Dreamweaver and Muse forums from the BC forums under the "relevant forums" section.
    However, you guys forgot to list Adobe Fireworks there.  According to Adobe, that is your web design app for creative professionals and it works directly with Dreamweaver and BC sites to create design assets for BC sites like logos, icons, and other graphical assets plus it generates CSS3 code for styling objects on BC sites without using images.
    Is there some reason you left it off or was this a mistake?

    Hey Darly,
    This is on the Adobe forums so you can go to anyone such as photoshop or flash as all can be considered related in that way in terms of web development.
    The relevant links box links to Muse and Dreamweaver because both have bulky in elements to work directly with Business Catalyst. Dreamweaver ha the plugin and Muse has more direct in built features.
    So these are more relevant to any others and those forums are easily accessed by clicking the route Adobe forums link :)

  • Howto fit content without resizing?

    Is it possible to make a bitmap constantly align to the upper-left of its frame - but not having the bitmap resize?

    No prob, Kasper. The bit about an "override" is this: InDesign allows for creation of "styles" that make formatting of text and objects faster & easier to control than doing everything manually. So if you go to Window -> Styles -> Object Styles, you'll see a Basic Graphics Frame and a Basic Text Frame. You can create as many object styles as you want, with as many or as few features (fill? stroke? drop shadow? transparency?) as you like, and then apply them all at once with one click. Frame Fitting Options just happens to be one of the many object parameters you can control with an Object Style.
    Of course, if you want to diverge from your style a bit, you can manually tweak whatever you want. If you've applied manual formatting to an object that you set up with an Object STyle, then a little plus symbol appears next to the style name when you've selected it, indicating that you've overridden the style definition with some manual formatting.
    So, feel free to continue using Frame FItting Options manually. But if you are dealing with a large number of objects, and your mouse-clicking muscle is tired from the number of clicks you need to go through per object to set it up the way you want (direct select tool -> right click on object -> navigate to Frame Fitting Options -> make selections in dropdown and reference proxy -> hit OK), just be aware of this other way of styling objects (select object -> select object style) exists.
    Also, when your client says "I love it! But can you make all 1,200 images hug the lower left instead of the upper left?" you can do it in five clicks, instead of 6000 clicks.

  • Is there a way to have all styling for objects written to a standalone CSS file?

    Hi,
    I’m currently working on converting a bunch of Flash diagrams to mobile-friendly HTML with Edge Animate and would like to be able to tweak the styling of all of them with a single master CSS file.
    While I know it’s possible to overwrite Animate’s inline styles by including external CSS files and using the !important declaration, it would be incredibly handy for use cases like mine to be able to have Animate not use any inline styling and instead save all styling to an external CSS file whose path is referenced clearly in the code snippets that we already have to add to our HTML in order to include the Edge animation files, so the path to the CSS can be quickly and easily changed when moving from test to deployment, etc.
    Any chance of this option being added?

    I wish it did utilize a.css as opposed to inline as well.

    The errror message of MapViewer is nearly the same with some more informations about the spatial query and the coordintes of the query window. If I run that spatial query in the sqldeveloper it returns a result!
    I did following stebs:
    - saved a tiff-Image in a GeoRaster table with pyramid an tiled images.
    - checked the sdo_geom_metadata --> they are correct
    - checked the sdo_georaster object for the rdt table name and rasterid --> they are correct
    - checked the rdt table --> objects with that rid are saved
    - checked the mdsys.sdo_geor_sysdata table --> entry is correct
    - validate the geraster with the sdo_geor.validategeoraster function --> object is valid
    - updated the spatial extend of the image and try again the preview functio--> the same error
    The databse server is a virtual Linux server with Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit.
    The web server is a Window 2003 R2 Server with a weblogic server and mapviewer patch 5 (Ver1033p5_B081010).
    For a test I did the same (the same table script, the same raster data, the same import method) on a developer pc (WinXP Pro SP2) with Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 (32bit) the same mapbuilder version but with the MapViewer QuickStartKid and it works fine!!!
    Has anyone an idea?

    Hi Joao,
    Thanks so far.
    I'm previewing a GeoRaster theme. I created it with the MapBuilder GeoRaster wizard. The theme difinition is (out of the export file):
    RAS_DGK|
    null|
    RAS_DGK|
    GEORASTER|
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
    <styling_rules theme_type="georaster">
    </styling_rules>|
    (GeoRaster table name is "RAS_DGK", theme name is also "RAS_DGK")

  • Please Help.JTable insert styled text

    Hi all java guru,
    on post http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=57&thread=485469 i've depicted my scenario in which i have a JTable where i want to add styled text.
    i've implemented a CustomTableModel that maintains information about text style, in such way that when renderer cell, i can rebuild exact text with its style....same method is adopted for CellEditor.
    It is possible to have more than one JTable in my application....then to correctly handle all JTables ' put them in a vector and during editing and rendering i find current focusable/selected JTable and edit/render it.
    Clearly i maintain information about style of text when i insert it, that is when i insert text, i update my CustomTableModel...same thing must be done when i delete text from JTable...that is, i must update CustomTableModel too in this case.
    Because my CellEditor is a JEditorPane component (extend it) i've registered document associated to it to a DocumentListener that notify every time that a remove operation is happens.
    What is the problem now???problem is that when i finish to edit a cell and click on another cell i've got a removeUpdate(DocumenEvent e) event, and i can't distinguish it.....it seems a real remove event....
    In this case(when i change cell) the code that is executes returns wrong result and invalidate all the rest.
    I think error is where i register celleditor , now i do it in CustomCellRenderer class that extend JEditorPane and implements TableCellRenderer.
    Please help me...this is a great trouble that invalidate all my work :(
    Any new idea is welcome.
    regards,
    anti-shock

    Hi stanislav, of course i can...you're a myth :)
    public class CustomCellEditor extends AbstractCellEditor implements TableCellEditor {
           CellEditor cellArea;
         JTable table;
         public CustomCellEditor(JTable ta) {
              super();
              table = ta;
              // this component relies on having this renderer for the String class
              MultiLineCellRenderer renderer = new MultiLineCellRenderer();
              table.setDefaultRenderer(String.class,renderer);
         public Object getCellEditorValue() {
              return cellArea.getText();
         public Component getTableCellEditorComponent(JTable table, Object value, boolean isSelected,     int row, int column) {
              int start = 0;
              int end = 0;
                                               // Get current selected table
              TableEditor tb = (TableEditor) TableEditor.getSelectedTable();
              TableModel model = (TableModel) tb.getModel();
              Vector fontInfo = model.getFontFor(row,column);
              CellEditor cellArea = (CellEditor) ((CustomCellEditor)tb.getCellEditor (row,column)).getCellEditor();
              Document doc = cellArea.getDocument();
              String content = tb.getValueAt(row,column).toString();
              if (doc!=null && fontInfo.size()>0 && !content.equals("")) {
                                                     // This method reads from model and get right style info
                                                     // for current text, and restore them
                                                     restoreFontWithAttributes(doc,fontInfo,content);
              else
                   cellArea.setText(tb.getValueAt(row,column).toString());
              cellArea.rowEditing = row;
              cellArea.columnEditing = column;
              cellArea.lastPreferredHeight = cellArea.getPreferredSize().height;
              return cellArea;
          * @return
         public CellEditor getCellEditor() {
              return cellArea;
         public class CellEditor extends JEditorPane {
              private CellStyledEditorKit k;
              public CellEditor() {
                    super("text/plain","");
                    k = new CellStyledEditorKit();
                    setEditorKit(k);
                    // I tried to add document here, but i have had wrong behavior
                   doc = new DocumentListener() {
                   public void removeUpdate(DocumentEvent e) {
                      // Get current selected table
                      TableEditor tb = (TableEditor) TableEditor.getSelectedTable();
                      TableModel model = (TableModel) tb.getModel();
                      model.updateFontInfo();
                   getDocument().addDocumentListener(doc);
    }Ok, stan...this is my CustomCellRenderer class....as i have already said, i have some style text info mainteined by CustomTableModel associated with JTable.
    I update CustomTableModel every time that an insert and remove operation happens.
    If i add a DocumentListener to CellEditor (that rapresents editor cell of my table) happens that, if i remove some character from an editing cell, i got a removeUpdate event.....and this is right!!! But if i change cell (e.g. supposing editing cell(1,1), click on cell(2,1) then stop edit cell(1,1) and start edit cell(2,1)) i got a removeUpdate event, that I don't wait for to me..
    Look at this:
    empty cell | some text
    cell 0 ------- cell1
    supposing you're in cell1 and you have finished to insert "some text".Then click on cell0, that is empty....then document associated with CellArea(extend JEditorPane) before of the click on cell0 had some text, but after click have no text, then for it a removeUpdate is happens.....and is that one i got..
    it's as if an unique document is associated to all cells, while should be one document for each cell (i hope this is right).
    Clearly, i've same code for renderer, in such way that i can restore style of text on rendering.
    Hope is clear....if U have any idea or suggestion please give to me.
    Tnx a lot Stanislav..

  • What is the correct way to add styling to drag-and-drop created calendars?

    I have a working instance of a rich client calendar. I generated the view with the required fields (start, stop, provider, ...), put it into the App Module, and dragged it onto a JSF page to create a calendar.
    Next I created an activityScope object in a class called CalendarBean (no inheritance)
    Class CalendarBean()
    private HashMap<Set<String>, InstanceStyles> activityColorMap;
    +..+
    +public CalendarBean() {+
    super();
    activityColorMap = new HashMap<Set<String>, InstanceStyles>();
    HashSet setEd = new HashSet<String>();
    HashSet setLen = new HashSet<String>();
    setEd.add("Work");
    setLen.add("Home");
    activityColorMap.put(setEd, CalendarActivityRamp.getActivityRamp(CalendarActivityRamp.RampKey.ORANGE));
    activityColorMap.put(setLen, CalendarActivityRamp.getActivityRamp(CalendarActivityRamp.RampKey.RED));
    +}+
    +}+
    Next, I linked this up as a backing bean and associated the ActivityStyles of CalendarBean to it:
    +#{backingBeanScope.calendarBean.activityColorMap}+
    I populated some records in the database with properties "Work" and "Ed', but they show default blue.
    As I understand it, I need to do something with the getTags() method of the underlying CalendarActivity class, but I'm not quite sure how to do that.
    Took a stab at creating a class, CalendarActivityBean, that extended CalendarActivity, and pointed all the CalendarActivity references I had to the new class, but it didn't seem to fire (in debug), and I got into trouble, when inserting records, with
    public void calendarActivityListener(CalendarActivityEvent calendarActivityEvent) {
    currActivity = (CalendarActivityBean) calendarActivityEvent.getCalendarActivity();
    being an illegal cast
    What is the correct way to add provider-based styling to drag-and-drop create calendars?
    Ed Schechter

    A colleague of mine was kind enough to solve this:
    The calendar has ActivityStyles property = #{calendarBean.activityStyles}
    CalendarBean looks something like this:
    package com.hub.appointmentscheduler.ui.schedule;
    import java.util.HashMap;
    import java.util.HashSet;
    import java.util.Set;
    import oracle.adf.view.rich.util.CalendarActivityRamp;
    import oracle.adf.view.rich.util.InstanceStyles;
    +public class CalendarBean {+
    private HashMap activityStyles;
    private String dummy;
    +public CalendarBean() {+
    +// Define colors+
    activityStyles = new HashMap<Set<String>, InstanceStyles>();
    HashSet setPending = new HashSet<String>();
    HashSet setArrived = new HashSet<String>();
    HashSet setApproved = new HashSet<String>();
    HashSet setCompleted = new HashSet<String>();
    setApproved.add("APPROVED");
    setPending.add("PENDING");
    setArrived.add("ARRIVED");
    setCompleted.add("COMPLETED");
    activityStyles.put(setApproved, CalendarActivityRamp.getActivityRamp(CalendarActivityRamp.RampKey.GREEN));
    activityStyles.put(setPending, CalendarActivityRamp.getActivityRamp(CalendarActivityRamp.RampKey.ORANGE));
    activityStyles.put(setArrived, CalendarActivityRamp.getActivityRamp(CalendarActivityRamp.RampKey.PLUM));
    activityStyles.put(setCompleted, CalendarActivityRamp.getActivityRamp(CalendarActivityRamp.RampKey.LAVENDAR));
    +}+
    +public void setactivityStyles(HashMap activityStyles) {+
    this.activityStyles = activityStyles;
    +}+
    +public HashMap getactivityStyles() {+
    return activityStyles;
    +}+
    +}+
    Now, go into the Bindings tab on the calendar page, double click the calendar binding, and specify the column you've defined as the calendar's Provider in the Tags dropdown.
    Should show colors.

  • Best-practice for use of object styles to manage image text wrap issues when aiming at both print and EPUB output?

    I have a work-flow question about object styles, text-wrap, and preparing a long document with lots of images for dual print/EPUB output in InDesign CC 2014.
    I am sort of experienced with InDesign but new to EPUB export. I have hundreds of pages and hundreds of images so I'd like to make my EPUB learning curve, in particular, less painful.
    Let me talk you through what I'm planning and you tell me if it's stupid.
    It's kind of a storybook-look I'm going for. Single column of text (6" by 9" page) with lots of small-to-medium images on the page (one or two images per page), and the text flowing around, sometimes right, sometimes left. Sometimes around the bounding box, sometimes following the edges of the images. So in each case I'm looking to tweak image size and placement and wrap settings so that the image is as close to the relevant text as possible and the layout isn't all wonky. Lovely print page the goal. Lots of fussy trade-offs and deciding what looks best. Inevitably, this will entail local overrides of paragraph styles. So what I want to do, I guess, is get the images as closely placed as possible, before I do any of that overriding. Then I divide my production line.
    1) I set aside the uniformly-styled doc for later EPUB export. (This is wise, right? Start for EPUB export with a doc with pristine styles?)
    2) With the EPUB-bound version set aside, I finish preparing the print side, making all my little tweaks. So many pages, so many images. So many little nudges. If I go back and nudge something at the beginning everything shifts a little. It's broken up into lots of separate stories, but still ... there is no way to make this non-tedious. But what is best practice? I'm basically just doing it by hand, eyeballing it and dropping an inline anchor to some close bit of text in case of some storm, i.e. if there's a major text change my image will still be almost where it belongs. Try to get the early bits right so that I don't have to go back and change them and then mess up stuff later. Object styles don't really help me with that. Do they? I haven't found a good use for them at this stage (Obviously if I had to draw a pink line around each image, or whatever, I'd use object styles for that.)
    Now let me shift back to EPUB. Clearly I need object styles to prepare for export. I'm planning to make a left float style and a right float style and a couple of others for other cases. And I'm basically going to go through the whole doc selecting each image and styling it in whatever way seems likeliest. At this point I will change the inline anchors to above line or custom, since I'm told EPUB doesn't like the inline ones.
    I guess maybe it comes down to this. I realize I have to use object styles for images for EPUB, but for print, manual placement - to make it look just right - and an inline anchor seems best? I sort of feel like if I'm going to bother to use object styles for EPUB I should also use them for print, but maybe that's just not necessary? It feels inefficient to make so many inline anchors and then trade them for a custom thing just for EPUB. But two different outputs means two different workflows. Sometimes you just have to do it twice.
    Does this make sense? What am I missing, before I waste dozens of hours doing it wrong?

    I've moved your question to the InDesign EPUB forum for best results.

  • Anchoring objects to text in InDesign CS5.0

    Hi,
    I'm trying to convert a heavily styled book with lots of photos and charts to Kindle. When I export to Kindle, it's a mess. Is it possible to anchor objects to text in CS5? I know CS5.5 can do it, but I'm having a hard time figuring it out in CS5.
    Any helpful hints for making this conversion as easy as possible ... and without knowing any HTML would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    I highly recommend Elizabeth Castro's ebook to learn the basics of creating EPUB files—"EPUB Straight to the Point"
    Formatting ebooks - EPUB Straight to the Point
    Here is how she suggests you do it in InDesign CS5:
    Place the cursor in the flow of your book where you want to illustration to go (at the beginning of a paragraph).
    Press Return to create a separate paragraph for the illustration
    Apply an Illustration paragraph style. She suggests setting autoleading so the paragraph expands to the height of the illustration.
    Choose File > Place to place the illustration in that paragraph.
    If you need a caption, press return to create a new paragraph and apply the Caption style.

  • Datagrid styling in Flashbuilder

    Hey everyone,
    I have some issues styling a Datagrid with Flashbuilder.
    My problem is skinning the Datagrid. I wan't to have the Datagrid transparent, which I used to achieve by setting backgroundAlpha="0" and alternatingItemColors="{[]}" in Flexbuilder. This doesn't work when the compiler uses the Spark Theme. The thing is I don't want to use the Halo Theme on all my Components like Peter explains here: http://blog.flexexamples.com/2009/07/14/using-the-halo-theme-in-flex-4/ Is there a way of getting the Datagrid transparent without using the halo theme?
    The second issue I have is regarding fonts in the Datagrid. I managed to embed system fonts like Arial or Verdana, but when it comes to the .ttf the designer wants me to use, no text is displayed. I found out, that the Datagrid uses bold fonts for default. I've set the font-weight to normal on the columns but they still stay empty.
    Here's my css code:
    @font-face
        src:                        url("assets/fonts/FuturaCom-Medium.ttf");
        fontWeight:                 normal;
        fontFamily:                 myFuturaMedium;
        advancedAntiAliasing:       true;
        cff:                        true;
        unicode-range:              U+0020-U+007E,  /* englishRange & basic latin */
                                    U+00A0-U+00FF, /* basic latin with umlaut äöü*/
                                    U+20AC-U+20AC;
    .myDatagrid{
        fontFamily: myFuturaMedium;
        font-weight:normal;
        color: #FFFFFF;
    Thanks in advance. Help is highly appreciated!

    Or the other approach (a custom skin) would be something like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
            xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

        </s:layout>
        <mx:DataGrid id="dataGrid"
                alternatingItemColors="[]"
                borderSkin="skins.CustomBorderSkin">
            <mx:dataProvider>
                <s:ArrayList>
                    <fx:Object c1="0.One" c2="0.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="1.One" c2="1.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="2.One" c2="2.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="3.One" c2="3.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="4.One" c2="4.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="5.One" c2="5.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="6.One" c2="6.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="7.One" c2="7.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="8.One" c2="8.Two" />
                    <fx:Object c1="9.One" c2="9.Two" />
                </s:ArrayList>
            </mx:dataProvider>
        </mx:DataGrid>
    </s:Application>
    And the custom border skin, skins/CustomBorderSkin.mxml, is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <local:SparkSkinForHalo xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

    (The border skin was taken from %FLEX SDK%\frameworks\projects\sparkskins\src\mx\skins\spark\BorderSkin.mxml and I basically only added that alpha="0" bit on the background Rect fill.
    This is one of the areas we are still trying to improve in Spark (backgroundImage, backgroundAlpha). If you have any list of styles that worked in Halo but aren't working any more in the default Halo control/container Spark skins, let us know.

  • Exporting based on Object Styles?

    Hi, I'm hoping that Jongware or someone can help with with a question I have.  I'm wondering if there is a way with scripting to
    gather and export the contents of text frames based on their object style?
    So for instance, let's say I have a document that has a series of linked text frames with a style of "body", mixed in with a series of text frames that are styled "captions". Would it be possible to export the text frames styled "caption", and retain the styles within them?
    (The goal is a cleanly styled export that we can give back to authors for revising in Microsoft Word).
    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Well this wasn't exactly what I was after, but this is a great InDesign to Text plugin, which is stemming our backout pains...

  • Getting error after extending a View Object

    Hi,
    I am extending a view object in iProcurement page, requisition lines details region. I find that the item description is created 3 times in that Message Component layout region. Once as message styled text, once Formatted text and the third item created is of type Link. In the standard page (without extending VO), the item description is shown only once. But whenever I am trying to extend the VO, the item description is appearing three times on the page. This is happening merely by extending the VO. If I try to hide one of the item through personalization (by making Render property False), then also no changes take place. Can anyone help me please?

    Follow Sumit's suggestion. If that doesn't work, then you will have to use a jdev setup to debug the flow and analyze more.
