Submenu overlaps parent in ie but not ff or safari

Hi, at the website above, the submenu overlaps the parent menue in ie.  I've looked through the documentation and boards and have tried editing this snippet of css, but there was no change in ie.  Can anyone see what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

Thanks for you response.  I had read in another post that the update did not rectify this issue so I did not update.  I just did update and the issue was not rectivied, but my styling was removed. I have a backup and can restore,  However, the orignal issue of the submenu covering the parent menu is still there.  Does anyone have any ideas.  I have tried almost all the answers seen in other posts, yet have had no success.

Thank you for updating to the latest version. I was able to now test your mark-up on my own computer while being guaranteed that bugs in previous versions were eliminated from my explorations. At this stage I have not checked the CSS so that after this rectification there may be remaining issues which we will tackle in the next fase.

To rectify the markup the first two lines should read
