SubmitStatusForResource for s_apid_sched_work gets ignored after the first time

I am attempting to write a custom program to update Work on an assignment (not actual work).
I use the statusing service with the usual UpdateStatus and SubmitStatusForResource with a change xml like below:

PID above refers to: s_apid_sched_work
This works fine for "actual work", which uses a different PID in XML above, but when I try to use it to update "work", it only successful the first time. Any subsequent calls to change the work for the same period or other periods gets
ignored by project server. No queue message, no error thrown by the code. It just goes nowhere. I can see that setting "work" on an assignment via this method is supported according to the following article.

Can someone offer any suggestions? I have already set my task tracking mode to "Free Form" in PWA settings, so nothing should be preventing this type of update.
Is this a BUG? Please help.

Not tried it Carlos - but if you are updating using statusing I would suspect that would not normally expect a change to 'work' - but to either actual work or remaining work - the kind of fields that you would update through the UI. For making
a change to work you could probably do this through other PSI methods apart from statusing - but obviously depends if you want the change to go through approval or not. Let me know how it goes Carlos. Agree that the documentation appears to say
this should 'work' - but try remaining work instead.

Why does the "more info" of "Get info" get erased after the first time I look at it, and how can I get it back?

When I download a graphic, photo, or PDF, I can get information about it, including size and the web address of the download, using Get info. But in Mountain Lion, after I look at a file once, this information disappears. This wasn't true of Snow Leopard, though I can't remember whether it was true of Lion. Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??

I had this problem too with my newly bought iPhone 4s.I went to a technician shop to ask what the problem is and they said they could fix it however they would charge £35 and I believed this was too much. I was playing around with my iPhone to see if I could fix this problem I went on setting the clicked on the music section at the music section there is the button called sound check which was off so I decided to turn it on . Simply, we're going to
a: Create a Managed Library
b: Put it on the External Disk.
The easiest way to do this is launch iPhoto. This will give you an empty Library. Import one folder of pics. iPhoto will copy them to your Internal HD.
Next we'll move that Library to the ExterniPhoto Library Folder
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
From now on, as you import photos to iPhoto they will be copied into the Library on the External
This means that you will have a double up of files on the external.
So, when you have imported them, you can trash your own filing system.
(Hint: Don't do this today! iPhoto may not be the right app for you. I strongly urge you to import a few hundred pics and use them to test iPhoto. See what it does (and doesn't do) and be sure it's the right app for you.)
To recreate your one folder structure in iPhoto:
Start at the bottom of the folder hierarchy and drag a folder of images to the Album heading in iPhoto. iPhoto will import the pics and create an album of the same name. Create the enclosing Folders in iPhoto (File -> New Folder) and drag the Album to that.
ALbums can only contain Photos. Folder can contain other folders and Albums.
However, if your Folder System is date based (i.e: Folder Year -> contains Folder -> Months contains-> Folder: Days) then this is really pointless. The calaendar too or Smart Albums make this form of organisation pretty moot.
With 200k photos you might want to seriously consider using multiple Libraries. iPhoto is rated for 250k images, but you're getting up there.
Managing Multiple Libraries - including moving pics/albums/rolls and metadata between them - is greatly facilitated by using iPhoto Library Manager

I think that we all understood what you meant. If the extension cord is no longer working, then return it.
We are all trying to tell you that you can plug the power block into a standard household extension cord - using the short cord that came with the iPad - and there is no need for the extension cord that you bought.

How to get Edge to ignore a trigger after the first time it has played

I have a symbol that is activated by clicking on a button. The symbol has two triggers at different points on its timeline. Each trigger activates a separate symbol. I want both triggers to work the first time through, but on the second and all subsequent times, I want the first trigger to be ignored. There is probably a little bit of code that will do this very easily (maybe an if else statement?), but I'm afraid I am not very good at that. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Keyboard is getting locked after the first keypres...

Guys, i have a serious trouble with my N900. Whenever i unlock my phone and start typing (it can be anywhere, new messages, contact selection or any typing on any websites) , after the first keypress, the keayboard is getting locked. And also i get the volume increase notification and the volumes goes up and up automatically.. After this, this process (vlume increase) happens in regular interval. And the wiered thing is whenever i make a call, the volume goes down and muted.. If it is not website or if any imnage is open, the page/image is getting zoomed to the maximum level..
What could bethe problem? Any software update needed or any hardware problem..? I didnt install any applicaion recently..

Read from text file takes very long after the first time

Dear LabVIEW experts,
I'm having a problem with read from text file. I'm trying to read only every nth line of a file for a preview with this sub vi:
I seems to work well the first time I do it. The loop takes almost no time to execute an iteration.
Then when I load the same file again with exactly the same settings one iteration takes around 50ms.
Subsequent attempts seem to always take the longer execution time.
Only when I restart the calling vi it will be quick for one file.
When executing the sub vi alone it is always quick, but I don't see how the main vi (too complex to post here) could obstruct the execution of the sub vi.
I don't have a the file opened elsewhere in the main vi, I don't use too much memory...
Right now I don't now where to look. Does anyone have an idea?

I don't know the LabVIEW internals here, but I would think that it is quite possible that closing a file opened for read/write access writes a new copy of the file to disk, or at least checks the file in order to make sure a new file does not have to be written.
Therefore, if your main VI calls this subVI sequentially (you don't give any information about the place of this subVI in the main VI), you are actually looking at a close (check/write) -> open operation for any time you call it, as opposed to a simple open operation the first time. If you were to open the file for simple read access (since that's all you do), it should work fast every time because there is no need to check to see if it has changed.

HT1338 why won't my macbook let me transfer files to a SD card after the first time i plug it in?

My macbook stops letting me transfer files between it and storage devices (SD cards, hard drives etc) after i use it for the first time. it works originally but after i eject the device then i cant use it again.

Lightroom is not a file browser. If it thinks the photos are in folder A, you need to tell Lightroom that the photos are really in folder B. This is not a copy or a move. This is a "re-connect".

Hi, my iTunes after the last upgrading doesn't open. Really it open the first time after starting pc then , when i shut down it seems frozen. Could you help me? Do you ave a solution?

Try following steps and test one at a time:
1. Restart computer, right mouse click iTunes icon and select "Run As Administrator"
2. If that does not work, check to see if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, to prevent having to do the same process everytime you restart Windows, go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.
Restart Windows.
3. If that fails or you don't see ApsDaemon.exe in the Processes, refer to following article to remove SC files:

4. If that fails, repair or reinstall your Quicktime. START / CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAMS N FEATURES / hightlight QUICKTIME and click REPAIR.

Why does my paragraph tag for images get repositioned AFTER the image?

I have TCS2 and link my FM docs to RH.
I use a paragraph tag in FM called "figure" for my imported images. I noticed there is too much space after the images in RH and discovered the "figure" tag is BELOW the images. So even if I map the tag to a RH style, it won't do any good. Any suggestions?

This might fix your problem. Look at how your anchored frame appears in the FrameMaker document. It's probably like this:

Which is simply the anchored frame marker followed by the paragraph marker.
Now try this. Before the anchored frame marker, add a forced space (CTRL-Space).

When RoboHelp interprets this, it appears to place the paragraph before the anchored frame, not after it.
This is assuming you've got the anchoring position set to"Below Current Line," as suggested earlier.

You said pictures. Do you have them in iphoto, and then sync with iTunes? That should make them appear in your iPhone, check the Photos page in iTunes for the settings.
Space: when each photo is 5MB only, the 792 is already 4GB !

Iphone not working properly, can i get a new one for free if this is the first time it's happened?

The other night I went to a friend's house and my phone was sitting on the table. Someone bumped into the table, causing a drink to spill all over my iPhone 4S. Now, the volume buttons and the volume itself no longer works. As well as my speaker phone, it's very quiet and fuzzy. All my ringtones and notifications are extremely quiet and fuzzy as well. This is my first iPhone ever, and was wondering that since it's my first and I've never ruined any other ones...would the Apple store provide me a new phone for free and be able to transfer all my data to the new phone?

Warranty does not cover user damage.
If you have AppleCare+, you can get it replaced for $49US.
Otherwise it is $199US to get it replaced.

Won't print after the first time

The printer worked fine after I used the installation CD. Then it automatically updated the driver and now doesn't work. So I deleted the driver and re-installed it. I tried the original disc as well as the update on the website. Now when I plug the USB port into the computer, nothing prints. The program recognizes that the printer is there, but nothing happens. The control panel says "printing" but nothing prints. I tried installing the newest driver onto my laptop which is windows 8.1 Lenovo. It worked, but then as soon as I disconnected the USB port to pack up for the day and then reconnected it the next day, the printer no longer prints. I just changed all the cartridges so they are full. I am so fed up with this drivver issue. Help!
