Subscriber Belongs To Multiple Subscriptions

A user belongs to two different groups and each of them is a separate subscriber. There are also two subscriptions, each including one of these subscribers. Question is, would that user receive two emails for the same alert since they belong to two subscriptions
both of which are configured for those alerts. Does SCOM have a priority with subscriptions where it uses the first one in a list or? As in this article
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-US/aadd0dc4-5497-48b6-8004-7faa72060f37/multiple-subscriptions-to-same-alert-scom-2012?forum=operationsmanagergeneral.  If not and two emails will be sent out is there a way to setup a subscription
to exclude certain criteria rather than include? Therefore I can trim down the subscription criteria that way and prevent the other one from sending an email by using exclusions.

For how to configure subscription in excluding certain criteria, you may refer to my blog

  • Can one apple ID belong to multiple family sharing groups?

I'm interested in starting a family sharing group with my siblings (surprise).  They have children of their own, however, so if I invite them to my new group, will they also be able to create a different group for themselves with their children?
My thought is that my siblings can more easily share information and photos.  I wasn't interested in approving app purchases for their children however so I thought they could create a separate group with their same parent ID for themselves with their children.  If I'm thinking of this right, and ID needs the capability of belonging to multiple groups.  Is that possible?
    Thanks kindly.
    Bill

    Hi Mdbarnharts,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your family members are using the same Apple ID to share purchases, and now you're receiving messages sent and received by your kids.
You can set up and manage Apple IDs for your children through the Family Sharing feature.
You can find more information about Family Sharing and setting up an Apple ID for your kids at these resources:

    All the best,

  • How do I merge multiple subscriptions to the same podcast?

In iTunes I have multiple subscriptions to the same identical podcast (same podcast name and same url) ... some of the subscriptions have duplicated entries and some have unique entries ... (how this happened I have no idea, but that is beside the point) ... my question is how do I merge these multiple subscriptions into a single podcast subscription? I have tried cut & paste in the hope that I could then delete (unsubscribe) to all of the redundant/repeated subscriptions, but that does not work ... in explorer I have found that ALL my podcast files from ALL my podcast subscriptions are found in a single folder .. so all the entries from my multiple subscriptions are there as well ... this smoked my hope that each podcast subscription would have it's own folder or sub-folder ... so I'm stuck ... does anyone know how I can merge multiple subscriptions to the same podcast into a single podcast subscription (without my losing the uniques scattered throuhout the mutiple subscriptions) ... ???

I would love to be able to do exactly what you are suggesting .. the problem is, if I delete the duplicate subscriptions, I lose the unique files unique to the duplicate subscription I delete ... the problem is that I can't find a way to save/move the uniques (in advance of deleting the duplicate subscription) into a single subscription ... is there a way to do this ??? Does anyone know how to do this ??? Please help !!!

Hi there, I currently subscribe to Adobe Pro Subscription (yearly) and I also subscribe to Adobe PDF pack (monthly).  I only require Adobe to read and create PDF documents such as converting word/excel document or a web based document.  Can someone tell me if I'm doubling up as I'm not sure of the differences between the products and would like to save a few dollars.

Acrobat Pro can do a lot more than the PDF Pack online service.
Try if you can do everything you need with PDF Pack; otherwise keep Acrobat Pro.

  • Multiple Subscription Package Confusion

I have a 400 min subscription to Australia, but find I'm using about 2 x that per month, however when I look at adding another (of the same) it appears the second dosn't kick in until the first one's billing period has expired, which dosn't really make sense as won't the first one be renewed and active again then?
I see if I add a different (# of minutes) subscription it'd kick in immediatly after the first ran out of minutes, (what I need) but they're only available in 120min packages.
Is that the best option? It's more expensive than another 400min sub, but I just can't see how to get two x 400min subs working "back to back".

    Hi Caniwi,
Upon reading FAQ's it shows that we can have identical subscriptions with the same number of minutes however it will be active once the currect one expires. If you want the minutes to be activated right away, you should choose a different number of minutes.
    Support page says:
For example, if you buy a Brazil 120 minutes subscription on the 1st of the month, and use all your minutes by the 20th, then buy a Brazil 60 minutes subscription, you can start using the Brazil 60 minutes subscription right away. You don't have to wait until the billing period for the first subscription has come to an end.
For more information, please see Support Page: Can I Have Multiple Subscriptions
I hope this information is helpful.

  • Multiple subscriptions

I have 3 subscriptions: (a) a top-up subscription for one specific country in Europe; (b) 60 minutes a month of international calls I got with Office 365 and (c) a 400 minutes a month subscription for calls within Brazil. I live in Brazil.
Whenever I call within Brazil (i.e., a domestic call), skype first uses the credits in the 60 minutes a month I got with Office 365. I would obviously prefer it to use my 400 minutes a month (subscription c), so that I can save the Office 365 minutes for international calls from Brazil.
Is it possible to make skype do this?
    Tks in advance,

    Hi Shahid,
    Thanks for posting here.
I am afraid to mention that you cannot merge multiple subscriptions into one.

  • Do I need multiple subscriptions?

We are delivery content to a number of regions. Each region has a Signiant drop folder on the XSAN. I want my editors to tick a box to specific which region an asset should go to.
Currently I have Metadata Group "regional delivery list" with Boolean values(true/false) for each region. I can see that I can set up a subscription that can trigger a copy response if the value changes from false to true. But would I need to set up multiple subscriptions and multiple copy responses for each region (total of ten) for FCSvr to export the asset to the device/signiant drop folder?
    Thank you in advance.

In the project I'm working on now I have the same issue: 7 destinations (7 folders in a server)
If the 10 regions you have are 10 DIFFERENT folders on your Xsan then you need 1 subscription for each folder since the copy response is different in every case.
On the other hand if you use the same transcoding in all the regions (or no trancoding at all) and you trust the people in all the regions, then you can make 1 single destination and give them access to take what they want and nothing else. (we have 7 destinations but in some there are like 10 different user that take what they need and leave the rest)
    Good luck

  • User belonging to multiple groups

    Hi,
If a user belongs to multiple workgroups, Podcast capture should ask him in wich blog he wants to publish its sequence... but it doesn't seem to work.
So my question is : how to deal with that ?
    Thanks for your help,
    Nicolas

    Hi
I know only 2 ways to add some dynamic: posting to user's blog, which supposes to consider that there is only one user who is able to post, otherwise to duplicate workflows and change the target group in it ($$Group Short Name$$ replaced by custom properties or if posted through webUI defined by new field, but it's reliability depends of the human factor..).
In addition, i may ask you what do you mean by "it doesn't seem to work"..? Is Pc Capture supposed to work this way and ask at any moment to which group's blog the podcast needs to be sent when a user belongs to multiple groups ? That would be a terrific news, but i guess they would have announced it..

  • Belong to Multiple Access Policies

    Hello,
I am curious about everyone else's experience with access policies being maintained by groups, and some users belonging to multiple groups and multiple access policies. Example:
John Doe belongs to group1 and group2
    Order
    1
    AccessPolicyA
           Selected groups: group1
           Blocks access to URL xyz.com
    2
    AccessPolicyB
           Selected groups: group2
           Allows access to URL xyz.com
Will the WSA check all access policies that John Doe authenticates to? Or will it stop and use the first access policy that he hits, in this example AccessPolicyA?

It is a bit of a hassle, but we had to reorder our access policies thinking in a top down approach as well.
Also you can create AD global security groups specifically for Internet access if you'd like.  Prefix it with something that makes sense so they are all together in AD.  We use IG-  (IG stands for Internet Group).  So we have AD groups called IG-RestrictedInternet or IG-SocialMedia.
If your in Restricted intenret, your totally restricted  except for a few sites we allow.  If your not in a group you have general internet access except for time wasting stuff like facebook.  If your in IG-SocialMedia then you have all the general internet access PLUS social media like facebook, linkedin, etc...  This is usually given to marketing or HR people.
So while annoying, there are ways to think about how to handle this.  I can see your point say you are a Manager of the marketing department. Well you might be in an AD group for marketing as well as an AD group for management.  In this case our Management policy would come above the marketing policy.  So if your not doing specific groups then you can just order them by employee position hierarchy with usually management / hr on top.

  • Create multiple subscriptions under Free Trial

    Hi,
I have a free trial version of windows Azure and I want to check can I create multiple subscriptions in Free Trial?
When I clicked on Add subscription under https://account.windowsazure.com then it gives me options like below.
If I want to create a free subscription then what should I do?
    Thanks, Dilip

    Hi Dilip,
It is not possible to buy Multiple subscriptions from a single account . To buy multiple subscription you may have to create multiple accounts for multiple subscriptions .
In your scenario, you are trying to buy a subscription with azure. If you would like to make  use of a 1 month free trial please do it via
http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/free-trial/ - click Free Trial (or) you may activate Free trial from
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/offers/ms-azr-0044p/
To buy a subscription click Or buy now at
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/free-trial/
Once you sign up for free trial you receive a $200 credit to spend on Azure services during the trial. You can use this
$200 however you want to create and try out any combination of Azure resources. It enables you to explore our cloud entirely for free.
    Hope this helps.

  • HT2534 why can't I use money in my account to subscribe for music match subscription?

why can't I use money in my itunes account to subscribe for music match subscriptions?

If you switch you will have to backdate it to keep the overages from happening. Also you'll pay the difference in advance. So if the difference is $20. You pay $40 more next month compare to this month, but the following month will be $20 more like it should(bill in advance). When you downgrade plans you'll get credited the difference like it should as it works both ways.

  • Multiple Subscription: 1 Landlines + 1 Landlines&M...

    Dear Support,
I'd like to ask you what's going to happen if I buy Multiple Subscription: 1 Landlines + 1 Landlines&Mobile to the same country.
    I explain better.
If I only have Landlines&Mobile to one country, then I've, for example, only 400 min to use to mobiles AND landlines.
I would like to have those 400 min only for MOBILE and use the Landlines subscription to call all the landlines number - Keeping them separatelly in the same account.
    Is that possible?
Otherwise I need to make 2 different skype account and use one for landlines, and one for mobile (that's also for landlines).
Please let us know how it works.
    Thanks
I'm a SEO Freelance in love with Web Marketing & Skype

As so listed in the following faq, you will use two subscriptions both within your one account as you plan; one Landlines&Mobil 400min and the other Landlines Unlimited or more than 400min.
    +++
If I have an unlimited subscription (for landlines) and a limited subscription (for mobiles and landlines), when making a call to a landline, which minutes will be used?
The subscription with the most minutes at any given time will be used. So in this case, it would be the unlimited subscription as this offers unlimited* calls to landlines.
If you have two different limited subscriptions, the subscription with the highest number of available minutes will be used.
For example, if you have a World 400 and an Australia Landlines 120, and you make a call to an Australian landline, the World 400 would be used over the Australia Landlines 120.
    +++ https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10495/
As the explanation in this faq is somewhat ambiguous or rather confusing in my view, it is not certain what will happen if you will choose Landlines&Mobil 400min and Landlines 400min. I shall look forward to hearing from the knowledgable persons in this concern.

  • How to eliminate duplicates from multiple subscriptions in iCal?

Is there a way to eliminate duplicate entries created when subscribing to multiple calendars?  As an example - I have a subscription with each of my kids school calendars (one is in middle school the other elementary). I end up with several duplicates such as the following:
    February 14, 2014
    * Valentines Day (calendar)
    * Valentines Day (elementary)
    * Valentines Day (middle school)
    Thanks for your help!
    -Curt

Your specification can be interpreted more than one way.
In the examples you give, "duplicate records" not only have the same EMPNO, but all the data is the same. If this is what you are trying to avoid, use DISTINCT. Instead ofFROM EMP_TEST Ewrite FROM (select distinct * from EMP_TEST) EThis will eliminate duplicates if and only if every column has the same value.
Again, not sure if this is what you want but it would work for your sample data.
P.S. I agree with sb92075, you should make EMPNO a primary key and avoid the problem altogether.

  • Grouping multiple subscriptions for streaming notifications

    Hello,
I want to subscribe to Exchange (ver. 2010) streaming notifications in order to receive events for multiple mailboxes.
I don't want to open a separate connection for each mailbox, although from what I've read so far I need a separate
    subscription per mailbox.
I read that it is possible to group subscriptions in batches of 200 so that the number of open connections is reduced.
I'm trying to do this in java and I have found no information or sample code to help.
Do I actually need to use impersonation to group subscriptions ? I'd rather not if possible.
And how can I combine multiple ExternalEWSUrl values as suggested in the link here:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mstehle/archive/2013/04/17/changes-in-managing-affinity-for-ews-subscriptions.aspx
I'm actually using a java library that handles all the soap calls so I don't have to worry about this side of things.
    Many thanks
    Terrie

    Okay, if I change
"SubscribeToNotificationsOnAllFolders" back to "SubscribeToNotifications" then it doesn't error
out but it runs for about a second and I get the following table:
    Id              Name                     State          HasMoreData     Location
    Command
    33              fbe4a21a-8ad...    NotStarted       False
    34              e903f16b-2b4...     NotStarted       False
    $event.MessageData.Open()
Not sure what's going on here.

  • Multiple subscriptions, multiple machines

I have a Creative Cloud full membership and a single app subscription.  3 Computers.  Can both the single app membership and the full CC membership be "on"at the same time?  In other words, is there a way to designate my one machine to always be the single app machine AND have my other desktop and laptop as the two full membership machines?  Now I know that my full CC membership can only be "on" on 1 machine at a time.  I GET THAT!  It works great for me!  After using my laptop for example, I then go over to my single app machine (different from my CC Machine) and I always have to "log out" of all other machines.  The example is my single app is Premeire Pro CS6 on one machine and the other machines are all the CC apps except CS6 programs.
Please read thoroughly before responding thank you.

Chris Moen have you subscribed to multiple memberships under the same Adobe ID?
Please be aware that only one subscription can be applied per Adobe ID.  This means that if you purchased a full membership and a single application membership on the same ID you would only be able to install and activate the software on up to two computers.  If you purchased a full membership on one Adobe ID and a singe application membership on a different Adobe ID then you could activate on up to four computers.
This is also the answer to your question.  You will want to have the computers with the single application membership signed in with the Adobe ID applicable to that membership.  You can find more information regarding activation at Activation & deactivation help - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html.
If you do have multiple memberships on the same Adobe ID then please contact our support team to cancel the additional memberships.  You can contact our support team at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.
