Hi,
Actually, that would be a different question and really out of the forum. Just some explaination here:
DHCP protocol is used during the communications between client and WDS server. But as we know, we cannot receive a DHCP broadcast from another subnet or VLAN by default. So we need IP helper here to forward DHCP broadcast.
About the setting you can need refer to network device manufacture. Since you have two subnets, there must be a router or switch. Another workaround is just to put WDS and DHCP server into the same subnet with the clients.

When i try to boot a client from WDS it get ip address and starts to format but in midway when it says expanding windows files it throws up error 0x80070570 and installation fails. I have tried to re import the image and also deleted the image group and
recreated it. Still have this issue.

Mac RDP Client throws error "TLSEndpointException: 0"
When trying to TS into a Windows Server 2008 I receive the error "TLSEndpointException: 0". This occurs on my Macbook running Yosemite. However if I try to connect using another Mac, which is also running Yosemite, it works.
I can't seem to find any software-related differences between the two client machines, other than the hardware (works on Mac Mini, doesn't work on Macbook). Is there something that I'm missing?
thanks
nageebHi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
Did you try to connect with IP address or Hostname? please try with alternate method and check whether getting any resolution. Also try to uninstall and reinstall the latest version of MRD MAC v8.0.12 & verify whether you are facing same issue.

I have a SSRS report that parses RTF to TXT and displays it in a report. The report works fine and everything displays correctly. The subscription email, however, contains a report with errors: Request for the permission of type
'System.Security.Permissions.UIPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.
The report contains embedded code as well as references to System.Security and System.Windows.Forms. I've updated .....\Reporting Services\ReportServer\rssrvpolicy.config and ....\Reporting Services\ReportManager\rsmgrpolicy.config to change permissions
to FullTrust. Not sure what else I need to do. Please help.Hi Chimuelo,
According to your description, if the report contains custom code and assemblies, the subscription email contains an error “Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.UIPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'
failed”.
In your scenario, the issue could cause by that the report can’t access those assemblies. Please modify the policy configuration files to grant additional permissions for those assemblies. For more information, please refer to this article:
How to grant permissions to a custom assembly that is referenced in a report in Reporting Services.

Hi BI Experts,
I have an issue in the report output. The query is giving the data but the report is not showing the same.
when nonexisting values are given, report is throwing ERROR instead of giving blank page. Client is expecting blank page or dummy page with tables or headings etc but not the error message.
Please suggest a solution for this.
Let me know if anybody needs any other information regarding this.
Thanks in advance.you need to use no data found logic in order to get blank or any message saying no data found for that selected value.

Universe created on BI cube throws error.
Hi Experts,
This is the first time i have created one universe based on a Cube in BI system. After universe creation, I am logined into WebIntelligence Rich Client and create a query on top of the created universe which throws errors like below.
A database error occured. The database error text is: The supplied XML is not valid. <CONSTANT>. (WIS 10901)
I tried with many combinations, but, in result sometimes with blank report and sometimes throwing above error.
Cany anyone suggest me what is the solution for this ?
Regards,
SureshHi Suresh,
The reason here is some thing has bean changed at SAP BI Cube after creation of Universe in Business Objects.
Solution for this is " Refresh the universe structure " and then save it and export and try create reports. If it is not the reason give some more clarity on your error.
Thanks.

Inbound Adapter / 'Sink' failing for Content Server on Subscription Client
I am running into an issue in configuring the Outbound - Inbound Adapters for Connection Server / Subscription Client against Content Server. The details are below. Would sincerely appreciate if anyone can help with this.
I have installed a Oracle UCM setup together with two Content Server instances (Contribution instance and Live instance), a Connection Server and a Subscription Client - all within the same virtual machine on top of Windows XP SP2 OS and Oracle 10g Database.
I have further configured the Outbound Adapter on the Connection Server and the Inbound Adapter on the Subscription Client. All installation and configuration has been done following the step-by-step process from the relevant installation guides.
We have tested the connectivity between the Connection Server and the Subscription Client for a simple file-based content source and it works fine - i.e., files added to a directory registered as a source on connection server are retrieved and sent to the subscription client and received there successfully / dropped in the specified target client directory.
However, this transfer fails for the Content Server Outbound-Inbound Adapter connectivity. We have an Archive in Content Server registered as a "CNSArchive" and exporting successfully to the CNS Server. The registered outbound adapter is successfully able to receive these updates and are visible through the Connection Server
interface. The subscription client is also apparently able to receive these updates
correctly and writes them to the specified folder/directory on the client;
however fails to "batch load" these and reports a failure writing to the
Content Sink.
What we would like is for the ability to establish end-to-end connectivity between the contribution content server instance and the live content server using the connection server + outbound adapter on the sending end together with the subscription client + inbound adapter together on the receiving end. This is failing.
I have double checked the cns.oracle.config (connection server config), siclone.config (subscription client config), and the source content server's configuration (config.cfg), and all seems to be well. Not really sure therefore what is causing this.
Here is a snippet of the error trace that keeps showing up in the subscription client logs ...

I was getting a similar error. I had an Event Viewer record (It wasn't a Warning or an Error, just an Information) reading:You are running a version of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (also called MSDE) that has known security vulnerabilities when used in conjunction with this version of Windows. Kindly,help me how to resolve the issue and provide relavent notes which is applicable to my error as per the SAP release.Hi,
We encounter the same problem with different A***-tables. The problem is that these seem to be pooled tables. I had a look at sap note 1248769 and it mentions that the reconstruct-option is only liable for transparent tables. This seems to be right, as the option "Reconstruct" is greyed out in tx SE14 when we try to.
Any other options?
Jan
PS. Sorry for hijacking the thread, but it seems the topic starter is still looking for an answer as well
Edit: Found another SAP Note which seems relevant: 1171306. This note has the following segment in it:
If you still want to remove the inconsistency, you can proceed as described in the following. However, the table must be empty for you to be able to do this (you can check this with the report NROWS: start the report NROWS, enter DVPOOLTEXT for "Table 1" on the selection screen and choose Execute.)
1. Call transaction SE14.
2. Edit DVPOOLTEXT.
3. Delete the database table.
4. Create a database table.
If the pool is not empty and the data is required, it must be unloaded in advance and then read again after you have recreated the table.
Ofcourse we would like to preserve our data in the tables. Let's take a look at an example in our system: Table A017. This table has encountered the DDIC error during client copy. We have performed the following analysis actions on it:
Report NROWS mentions 116.390 entries for table A017.
In SE16 table A017 has 0 entries.
In SE14 I have performed two checks: The runtime object seems ok. When I check database object in SE14 the system returns the following message: "Table is not created in database".
Any tips?

Please help in thisHi,
it's hard to reproduce without having your data at hand.
Is it possible for you to reproduce the error with a table having few rows?
Can you post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statement for FAT_T table?
How many rows do you have in FAT_T table?
The error 6533 literally has this explanation:
The SUBSCRIPT_BEYOND_COUNT Exception (ORA-06533) occurs when a program references a nested table or varray element using an index number larger than the number of elements in the collection.
So I can only think that it occurs if you are trying to use an index larger than your table.
That's why I said your original code could have had a problem in the LOOP part in case the query was not returning any row.
But actually in case the array was empty you would get another error in the loop (ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error)
I saw that your array type are all nested tables except t_rowid which is an associative array using BINARY_INTEGER as index.
This index can be up to 2^32. So unless you have a very high number of rows (more than 2.15 billions) you should not get this error.
I can suggest to check 2 things:
How many rows does your SELECT statement returns?
Comment the exception block to see exactly which line is throwing that error.
Post some sample data to reproduce your problem
Actually if I try to do something similar in my environment using EMP table I don't get any error (if my select returns rows):

Log Message:
Bug: BLZ-123-Attempting to use a channel that doesn't support messaging (AMFChannel/AMFEndpoint withtout polling enabled) should throw error
QA: Yes
Doc: No
Details: Added logic in Consumer such that when the Consumer is connected over a non-realtime channel (i.e. non-polling and non-streaming channel), a warning is logged to let the user know that channel is not going to automatically receive updates via client poll or server push. We can't really throw an error here because one might want to disable channel polling and manually send poll requests when needed and this is a valid configuration as well.
Ticket Links:
http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/BLZ-123
Modified Paths:
flex/sdk/branches/3.0.x/frameworks/projects/rpc/src/mx/messaging/AbstractConsumer.asThanx Mete, yeah i did...
but i solved it some other way... not entirely sure this was
it though as i was doing a lot of things at once...
it was fds.swc... possibly it was out of date or missing. -
WebLogic Test Client, throws java.lang.NoSuchMethodException
In weblogic server 10.3, the WebLogic Test Client, throws java.lang.NoSuchMethodException for “any” soap fault message from the web service.
In Detail:
Our web services uses JAX-WS spec and are deployed in WebLogic server 10.3.The web service ear file is generated using standard ant utility. We are using “WebLogic Test Client” available through WebLogic server administration console .The issue is, for “any” soap fault message from the web service, the test client generates “java.lang.NoSuchMethodException:” . The key point is we are creating this class. We are not using our own client. WebLogic Test Client 's service response section has the following stack trace.

If you need any further info please let me know. Again a brief about the issue. when the service returns a fault soap message, the server trying to set the error code in a class generated by it's own where the method is not avilable. this happens for all fault soap message. In case of right response from the service no issues. all are working fine.

the following code keeps throwing errors, I was wondering if it is due to me getting confused when to use ":" before a variable and also ":=" when setting values?
Can anyone see what I am doing wrong?
Here is the code, at the moment it is throwing an error on line 44
ORA-06550: line 44, column 1:

Cheers
SimonDave had given you already some good advice.
Your code is not only too complicated, but you have also probably a bug in it. You have for instance a QNstart as to_date('01.01, 'dd.mm') and a corresponding QNfinish as to_date('31.03', 'dd.mm'). As this means, it is the time portion at 00:01, you are missing the complete last day of this interval. So you better do:
declare
l_QNstart date;
l_Q1start date;
l_Q1finish date;
l_q1t number
begin
l_QNstart := trunc(sysdate, 'Q');
l_Q1start := add_months(l_QNstart, -3);
l_Q1finish := l_QNstart;
-- your condition is now
select count(count(*))
into l_q1t
from ff_actions f, ff_action_type_lov a
where f.date_entered >= l_Q1start and f.date_entered < l_Q1finish
and a.action_score = 'y'
and f.input_type = a.action_name
group by f.company_name;
end;

How to keep Airplane mode active?
Airplane mode turns itself off when I hit the main button, and immediately starts searching for reception of wi-fi or edge. This is really bad in an airplane, and annoying elsewhere when I'm just trying to use it as an ipod.
