Suddenly, there is a "ghost" page. there is "firefox" in top right corner and "new tab where present page is usually listed. How do i get rid of both? or do i have to drop firefox and use i-net explorer?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

What is the purpose of the double click? If you click once to deposit each mark in sequence the dots should not join. However, if you click once to create the first mark, then hold down the Shift key, each subsequent mark with the Shift key held down will join the dots and create a line.

How do I get rid of repeating emails that I have already deleted?
How do I get rid of repeating email messages that have previously been deleted? My 3G phone crashes, then 10,000 previously deleted email messages come up and when I delete these, they come up yet again. ATT wants me to buy a service plan to tell me. I suspect they cause this so they can charge me for this.
Why does this happen?This is the second time this has happened where I suddenly received the same emails over 9,000 or more and they reload over and over once I had deleted them. Now that I know ATT will ask me to pay them and they maybe can fix a prob, I won't call them first. And I have never found anywhere that I can delete these emails that come back and repeatedly reload — except today by me discovering that I can go to where my emails originate and load onto my other various devices — and delete those emails. Which is what someone did when I called before and they admitted that it was a problem on their end that must have happened in their system.
Today I solved my problem. And I didn't have to pay Apple to do a temporary fix, which will come back in a few months, never tell me what they did and never tell me how to fix it myself. It was so that they can charge me to do a temporary fix and I would not use that paid service for anything else until this happened again. There is no such thing as an IMAP on anything that I use.
I found the origination of the problem and I fixed it.
This problem needs to be fixed on iphones in updates or it will happen to others.
By the way, it only happens on my iphone, not my mac tower, G5, Mac laptop or other mac devices that I own. Just on my iphone, several times. But now I know.
It seems to me if you want to have good customer services at apple, they would admit to their defects and offer to fix them, not come up with we will charge you and then determine if we can fix them. -
How can I get rid of old books that I have deleted from my device but still shows up as "purchased books" on "Icloud". I don't want to see some of these books at all. I can sort by one that are PDFs and ones currently on device, but it still gives option to show those old titles. Does anyone know how to erase your "Icloud" history, please?
Nooooooo! lol... If I want to download again I will, I don't want an electronic trail. Plus when I have Ibooks open, sometimes I will accidently hit the item and it will immediatly try to download it. The problem with that is that its "Time magazines Best Photos of 2012" etc and it locks up my IPAD cuz of sheer size of the book. So I would like it gone from the history. Isn't there a way to clear the history?

Recently firefox started opening new tabs when I click on search results how do I get this to stop
When I use Google and I click on a search result it opens a new tab where it used to just take me to a new page in the tab I was using I was looking in the tabs tab in options and saw I could choose it to open in a new window but I don't see an option to open it in the current tab. This started happening out of nowhere.
Found a setting in Google that was telling it to open all result in a new Windows which I was guessing that Firefox was overriding and open it in a new tab like settings suggested unchecked the box in Google and now the behavior is back to normal.

I keep getting the message "Safari browser version you are useing does not support community tool bar." Where is this coming from and how do I get rid of it ?

Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:

I want to get rid of the Lenovo laptops tab that appears everytime I open Mozilla
I opened it up in safe mode, went and reset all settings back to default. I also disabled ALL add ons. Then I went to add ons manager and enabled all the ones I was 100% certain I added. In there, you will find two add ons, one is the yahoo tool bar and default tab 1.2.2. I left those two disabled and started firefox. The tab was gone. I am not sure if it connected to yahoo.com but it is from a company called My Search Results and they claim to be a company that that this is the easiet way to search. The Other section on your iPod consists of a number of different things, including album artwork, your iPod's software, files you may be storing externally on it, games, and a few other things. However, it can usually include corrupt files from failed sync operations with iTunes. Usually the Other section should only be a small fraction of what's stored on your iPod, usually less than 1 GB.
So it sounds like your iPod may be corrupt, in which case you'll need to connect it to iTunes and restore it to factory settings.

OK, there is no text to select, but if you place your cursor at the VERY begining of the page, left click and drag down is anything highlighted - even just a space or two? If so, release the mouse/trackpad and mouse across to bold and click it. Does that help?
If not, type something (which will, of course be in bold) then select it and click bold again - it should go back to normal.
One final thought - are you using a font that only comes in bold? Try a common font such as Arial, Times New Roman or Helvetica and see if you can toggle bold in that font.
