SUM not working today: "Unknown protocol" message

Today, I cannot use SUM on Solaris 10 u8 x86. I get a message "Unknown protocol: defaultUpdateSource". This happens every time I click Check for Updates.
Are the update servers down?

Please remove all sensitive data out of the output path. Then run the attached suc script and let us see the output or better still open a support case if possible. However, we are aware that two days ago, the update servers had some maintenance window

Photo Stream not working today!
I turn off all devices (iPhone, iPad, iMac), i reset iCloud.com -> Photo Stream, but not working.
Is Photo Stream service down? (all other services in iCloud is working)

Try deselecting the box next to: Automatic Import
in iPhone > Preferences > Photo Stream
Then try deselecting Photo Stream in System Preferences > iClould then reselect to reset.

Apple Mail Search and Spotlight do not work for locating email messages after upgrading to Lion 10.8.3 on my 27" iMac.
When searching in Apple Mail, sometimes a get a few results (with many missing), and sometimes no results at all.
I had absolutely no problems before with Snow Loepard.
I have reindexed mail and my startup drive. I have followed discussions regarding this matter and tried everything - a waste of time.
This is VERY serious for me - I have many thousands of messages that I archive and need to reference for work and clients, and now I cannot find them.

I found out that I needed a $100 mini displayport to dual-link dvi adapter to make my $30" cinema display work with my macbook pro

When I found out that solved the problem, I took it back because that was too expensive for a stupid adapter, and it still didn't work perfectly.

I am passing material number from main WF to sub WF.
somehow, today it is not working again.

SWU3 is configured properly.
Except for 1)Maintain web server & 2) check entries from HR Control tables , everything is set to green.
Actually, main WF is successfully trigerring the sub WF.
But, somehow MATNR is not being passed to sub WF, which was being passed yesterday.
same containers, same binding.
But, not working today.
Any guesses.....

My Firefox quit working. I threw it in trash and downloaded new version. It will not work. I get message that firefox cannot load tabs. What can I do?

Firefox has been loading slowly the past week. It hung up today. I closed it and upon reopening it gave error message: "Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page." It screened an option to eliminate one or more tabs the two available were: "Window 1" and "about blank". I could do nothing with either. The other choice was to restore session and that did not work. I trashed the Firefox folder from my Applications folder and downloaded new version of Firefox. When I open it I get the same message. I have rebooted computer and downloaded new Firefox version twice. Can't make it work. I am using a MAC with 10.6.8 OS.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

MY iMessages not working today before yesterday i was working

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Push email not working today, was working yesterday

Updated to 2.0 yesterday, push email was working - i'd get mail pretty much instantly. Today it's not working, i'm having to fetch my mail. I'm using a .mac address. Any ideas?
iPhone 2G with 2.0 on O2 (UK).

Yes, I think you're correct with that. That seems to be the way all the "cloud" stuff that Apple will let developers push to the phone is going to work. Like a chat client, for instance. No persistent connection to look for incoming messages, instead the IM routes to Apple's server, which sends a message to the phone chat client that there's new data and to come look for it.
Good for battery life.
Re: the delete on the Mac not showing on the phone, shouldn't the mail client do a sync via imap every time you even open it? That's the way it was working before 2.0. I haven't had time to play with it yet to confirm.

MS Access 2013 Report - Sum not working on a calculated field that does work

The following statement works in the detail part of the report:

But the following statement does not work in the group footer:
=Sum([Qty]*[Install_Labor]*[Parent]![IntallLaborRate])*[Parent]![LaborMarkup]

SUM not working in a report

Hi All,
In the following report in CALC5 column the SUM is not working. It is working for the other columns but not this one. I am not doing anything different to this column(CALC5) other than the same thing I am doing for other calculated columns. And the grand total for CALC5 column gives me $0.00, which is wrong. In the aggregation rule I am using Default, like I used for other CALC fields. Please help.

Thank you Kishore. That worked after changing the aggregation rule to SUM. But I have a question, why would it work for my other Calculated field as default and for this one I have to use SUM. Can you please explain.

SUM not working correctly

I am having a frustrating issue with the SUM key not adding my numbers correctly (or at all).
I double tapped the cell below the numbers I wish to add and went to = and then hit the sum key. The formula is SUM C2:C19 but it's only inputting the C2 number in the SUM cell.
I could go through one by one and add up each cell manually in the formula but it would be much easier to use the SUM key if I can. I'm just wondering why it's not working like I think it should. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This usually has something to do with formatting. Are the cells C3:C19 formatted as text by chance? Or some other format that wont be recognized by the SUM function?

Sum not working

In region definition have a SQL Query (Updateable Report) from a collection. Everything is working great even the radio buttons. I want to sum the regular hours column so under the report attributes tab, I checked the sum box for the REG_HOURS column, but it will not sum. Just shows zero all the time.

When working with collections, everything is treated as a character unless you specify otherwise. So I changed the reg_hours field from ac.c011 to ac.n001 and the sum is working now.

Total using SUM not working on Account field on Lead History report

Hi,
I have a report based on Lead History on which I need to use the SUM of a field that is under the Account.Custom Number/Integer. This basically is a report of leads along with some fields from the account the lead is associated with. The SUM on that field works fine when I try it on another report off the Account History object but does not work when used on the report off the Lead History. It just shows the value of the field for that record instead of the total of the field for all the records displayed on the report. I am guessing that the issue has to do with the query going off the Lead-Account relationship because of which it treats each relationship as one resultset and totals the field values for just that relationship.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this would help very much. Can a field on one report be referred from another to achieve this?

Just checked a similar report test I did a while ago, and my query is:
SELECT c001 MyText, TO_NUMBER(c002) MyNumber
FROM HTMLDB_COLLECTIONS
WHERE COLLECTION_NAME = 'ATD'
So, you should use TO_NUMBER(c002)

Urls do not work when I compose messages

My links do not work when I drag a website url to my new message or type it in (beginning with http). I can always click on links that I get from others but my links do not seem to "convert" when I send them out. There is an exception, my webpage signature always works.
