Summary list of counts

I'm trying to display a summary count of distinct values in a table based on their group category in a lookup table.
The query for the summary page looks like this...
SELECT rfs_category, lookup_value_desc, COUNT (*) the_count
FROM seeker_rfs LEFT OUTER JOIN lookup_type_values
ON rfs_category = lookup_value
GROUP BY rfs_category, lookup_value_desc
What I want on my summary page is a list with the lookup_value_desc and it's corresponding count (number of records in the seeker_rfs Table with that value). As they add more categories to the lookup table, the list would become longer dynamically without having to change the report.
The min and max records per page are "0" and Page Break Properties are set to "No" yet it keeps page breaking on each individual category value (distinct lookup_value_desc).
How can I get the result set into a single list of values with their counts w/o page breaking?

Thank you Andreas, it was the Column/Break Order Property.
I am not fond of this tool! Between the MG and RG's I must have changed the "Page Break" and "Base Printing On" Properties a thousand times (I kid you not) with basically NO effect on the report output what-so-ever. That's what was so frustrating. No matter what changes I made to the various properties, it never changed the report ouput! I was basically just relegated to going through the properties one by one making changes until I found it.
Not an intuitive tool, especially for a beginning novice like myself with no training. I think I now understand why the person I inherited this project from hated it so much. I much prefer Forms! (not to mention the increased availability of resources on that forum)

An icon for my iPhone does appear near the top right corner of the iTunes window; however, when I click on the icon, the sync automatically begins and there is no display of what is syncing or how much space has been used or how much space is left for syncing music, photos, apps, etc. The new iTunes window no longer lists "Devices" on the left-hand side of the window. Has anyone had the same issue?

In iTunes go to View>Show Sidebar.

There is a program defined in the printout/data medium section with a specified variant name, please run that progra on a online basis to see the print preview. Most of the cases you will receive a spool output only as the output of that program, but that can be handled inside from your program.

Hiding the summary list on workflow

Hi
Does anyone know how to hide the summary list that appears at the end of the workflow. My workflow is pickup up all details from the invoice and I dont' want to also show the summary list as it has duplicate content.

I don't see how this would be possible unless you use Embedded CSS to target an ID and hide it. However, most email providers do not support this so it's not recommened and pointless really.
I'll leave this forum thread open for further and alternative suggestions input from our community.

Mail "message summary" list disappears for Exchange account

The "message summary" list in Mail keeps disappearing when I view my Microsoft Exchange mail account (a corporate Office 365 account). For example, when I highlight the Exchange Inbox in the Mailbox List, Mail will show the summary list with all messages in the Inbox, but then after some random delay will change and show an empty list regardless of whether or not there are any messages in the Inbox. Highlighting some other mailbox and then re-highlighting the Exchange Inbox restores the summary list temporarily.
This is on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), running Yosemite 10.10, and connecting to outlook.office365.com.

OK a little more information as I investigate.
I did run a packet trace and I can see packets back and forth between my PC and the External Exchange server address over HTTPS so they are talking..
I'm mystified why none of that shows in either connection doctor or in the error message that comes back.. Log/Debug options on the mail client side would be really appreciated.

How does one print a summary list of inbox messages?

I'd like to be able to print a summary list of all or selected messages contained in my Mail 4.2 inbox. All I'm hoping for is a simple FROM / SUBJECT / DATE RECEIVED line by line summary, not unlike what one sees in the standard Mail viewer (right side window).
Amazingly, there appears to be no easy way to do this. Selecting multiple messages and using MAIL / FILE / PRINT only results in the first highlighted message being printed in full. The same is true when one tries MAIL / FILE / SAVE AS. I also tried selecting several messages in the viewer and using EDIT / COPY; however the resulting paste into TextEdit included the entire contents of each selected message.
Help!

I think I can create what you want simply by launching Utilities/Grab and choosing Capture > Selection and outline the pane?
EDIT: commandshift4 is even faster.

HT1386 I have no summary in iTunes. This iPad is a Comet unused demo and they told me to restore it to factory status. How with no summary list or devises?.

Having bought my new ipad from Comet (a demo model which had not been used) I can't get a summary list in iTunes. They told me to go into summary to restore to factory status. Please help.

Can I create a list which counts the number of documents of a specific metadata type by the folder they are stored within?

Running SP2013 Foundation. My users interact by uploading documents to personal folders within a document library, selecting the type of document they have uploaded via a lookup column and SP list. I have two levels of view in my library, a top level view
and an in-folder view which contains the metadata and standard document information like version and modified date etc.
Currently I am able to count the total number of documents that have been uploaded of a particular document type against my document type list, but I would also like to include folder along with document type to thoroughly track document returns by folder
name. The desired output being a list with a count of document type uploaded by folder name.
I have tried creating an associated user column at the top level view and also uploading an associated user and folder name list.
Is this possible and how would I go about this?

If you are using a custom control on the screen and then a custom container you can easily do this.
Create a screen(Size 200 x 240), place a custom control on the screen and make it to the max size 200 x 240. Now in the attributes of the custom control, check the Resizing option for both horizontal and vertical, with some minimum numbers there.
Now, your ALV grid automatically occupies all the space available on the screen irrespective of the size if the screen and you will have only one scroll bar.

Does MAP tool capture User Summary (count of users, their details) for SQL Server 2008?
At my end, its working for SQL Server 2012 but not showing User Summary for SQL Server 2008..

Access list hit counts

Hello Mates,
Am getting a very rare type problem while I implement the aCL on 3850 switch
I do get hit matches when I put a log keyword in the ACL 102
SW#sh ip access-lists
Extended IP access list 102
5 permit tcp 192.168.0.0.0 0.0.255.255 196.189.80.0 0.0.0.15 eq 23 log (28 matches)
But when I remove the log keyword then I don't get any matches.
SW#sh ip access-lists
Extended IP access list 102

Please assist.

To understand your issue I think it is helpful to start from the understanding that the hit count is maintained as the access list is processed in software (as is generally the case in layer 3 routers). We get a somewhat different situation in layer 3 switches. If the access list is processed in software (as is necessary when the entry includes the log parameter) then the hit count increments. But when the decision is made in hardware then the right behavior of traffic is achieved but the hit count is not incremented.

Summary listing embedded in report detail

I have a CR9 report that is a Job Traveller. It has a header area with the Job Information, currently below that is the 'detail' information, which is each operation listed, with barcode and other detail information below. Embedded in the detail of the report is a subreport that is used to pick up notes from the ERP system and print them on the Traveller.
A a request has been made to print some summary data between the header and the detail of the report. What is needed is to print a line for each operation along with the description of the operation and some 'clear' area for the user to make notes in. Then this would be followed up by the actual existing detail of the report, the same operation numbers listed in order with the same detail.
I do not know how to make this work. I already have one sub-report and CR only allows one in a report. How can I do what I want to do with this? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can suppress tha printing of the detail frame with a user parameter if they requested such. The suppressing PL/SQL code could go in format trigger property returning a false if it needs to be hidden/suppressed.

Missing deployment summary list

Hi,
I've done deployment on my environment and it was successful.
When I browse to the managed server deployment tab, it is listed. But when I go to Deployment Summary, the application I deployed is not listed there. Hence, I'm unable to delete the deployment since it is not listed in the summary table.
Any idea why it has gone missing? The deployment is there, application is running, it is just not being listed in the summary table.

Yes, I have more than 10 deployed application, but the list still shows empty.
On the Deployment -> Monitoring tab, I got a message saying
"The object that you were viewing has been deleted, either by you or another user"
Even if I go through the Managed Server -> Deployment tab and select the deployed application, I can get to the configuration page for that app. But once I clicked on the monitoring, it gave the same message above.
It seems like the app is already been deleted, but it is still there where all servers are running without issue even after restarts.

ADG summary row children count

Hi all
Can anyone please tell me the best way to include a count of direct children in a grouping collection summary row? My data has two grouping fields and I can use a summaryfield to get a count of ALL children from depths 2 and 3 but I only want the direct children from the next level down.

Managed to find a resolution to this myself. Although not in the summary row itself, I was able to use this in my group item renderer...
{this.parentDocument.myAdvancedDataGrid.hierarchicalCollectionView.getChildren(data).lengt h}
