Sun internal error in java2D

Can anyone please explain this exception inside awt.
This happens when I call an instance of java.awt.Graphics drawLine(...)
Since drawLine takes only primitive arguments, there's no possibility of me passing it a null parameter so this must (I presume) be a bug in the sun code?

Thanks, Chris.

I also get this sometimes when using popup menu inside a Canvas3D from Java3D.

  • Strange internal error on loading applet 2nd time

    Dear all,
On two independent pages of my site, the same applet appears. Although most everything runs smoothly in both instantiations, I do get a strange internal error (and some minor but irritating misbehaviour) on loading the second instance only, and only in MSIE 6, not in Mozilla, not in Netscape 7.
The error messages generated are below. I can't see what might be going on, can you?

Thanks for any light shed on the issue!

    Hello riskmits,
I have the same in my side and only occur to some clients.
I wonder how did you resolve this issue. Could you please send me a mail to [email protected]
    Thanks!

  • Bug report: ube_ipa: internal error when compiling with -xO5

When compiling imlib2-1.1.2, one source file causes compilation to fail with the following error message:
    ube_ipa: internal error
    cc: ube_ipa failed for loader_tiff.c
The command which fails is (probably wrapped):
    cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I. -I.. -I../src -I../loaders -I../libltdl -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/openwin/include -I/opt/csw/include -I/opt/csw/include -I/opt/csw/include -g -fast -xarch=386 -xstrconst -v -xildoff -xO5 -c loader_tiff.c -KPIC -DPIC -o .libs/loader_tiff.o
Changing -xO5 to -xO4 works around the problem. The source file in question is imlib2-1.1.2/loaders/loader_tiff.c
Patch 112756-10 has been applied, and doesn't correct the problem. GCC doesn't have any problem compiling the file.
A quick note to any Sun employees reading this: it took me 45 minutes to find somewhere to submit this bug report. Searching sun.com for "submit bug report" turned up many forum postings where people asked "Where do I submit bug reports?", a bug report form for Sun One Java Studio, and not much else. It might be in your interest to make submitting bugs easier.

Internal errors, such as the one you encountered, are generally considered compiler bugs. They indicate that the compiler reached an unexpected state and therefore bailed out. I opened bug 20703141: internal error: pic_relocs(): hh reltype? to investigate. I see the same error message emitted by the current Studio development release; I will update this thread if I find a work-around.
    Thanks,
    Mark

  • I*sqlplus: Internal error (no valid library could be found)

    Hello
I have installed Oracle 8.1.7 on Windows NT
and Oracle 8.1.7 on Sun Sparc Solaris.
On Windows NT, I have installed i*sqlplus.
    However, when connecting from browser
    in the index file
    I've given a valid username/password of
a database in Oracle 8.1.7 on Sun Sparc
and a connect string to the database
on Oracle 8.1.7 on Sun Sparc.
This connect string is created using
Net 8 assistant and this connect string
is on the Windows NT with Oracle 8.1.7.
    However, instead of connecting I
    am getting the error
Internal error : (no valid library could be found)
    Can you please help me?
    Thanks

    Cyril,
Can you connect to the database using the command line version of SQL*Plus? If so, you're using the correct syntax.
It sounds like iSQL*Plus is not set up correctly. Do you have the necessary 8.1.7 components on the NT machine (Oracle HTTP Server, Net8, SQL*Plus)?
Review the installation documentation, and/or post more specific information on your set up.
    Alison

    Hello,
I would like to call a web service in Oracle UCM with basic authentication (CheckInUniversal). In JDeveloper 11.1.1.2 I can specify username and password for the WS at design time and the JSPX runs fine.

With debugger I found that it happens when the iterator CheckInUniversalResultIterator is called.
HTTP Analyzer shows that there are only empty SOAP messages sent to UCM but the correct values are present in the the bean.
Here is the code of the bean:

If you could enclose your code inside tag it will improve readability for us.
Anyways, first thing that I could think of is - what is the scope of your managed bean..? If its in request scope can you try changing it to higher scope level (session scope or page view scope).

Looks like a deployment/configuration issue with WSM:
Policy Manager cannot be established at "t3://host1.example.com:7011,host1.example.com:8001" due to invalid configuration or inactive state. .
This looks like a dev environment issue. Probably best to post to the internal forum.

To enable tracing at the server, find the sqlnet.ora file for the server and create the following lines in it:
    TRACE_TIMESTAMP_SERVER = ON
    TRACE_LEVEL_SERVER = 16
    TRACE_UNIQUE_SERVER = ON
    后,本来3113 的查询可以正常出来了,但是关闭trace后,又不正常了。
    Solution
问题最终定位在 CISCO ASA 防火墙的 SQLNet inspect,关闭就OK了。

ORA-00600 12333 usually means there was a communications error between the client and server. If you kill a session or perform a shutdown while a users connected you could potentially get this error. There's other reasons too. I think you're probably right that Oracle support will tell you to upgrade if you file a TAR with them.
Did this error crash your database or does it happen frequently? If the answer is no then I wouldn't worry about it unless the end user has said something about it. If this is a problem then I'd contact Oracle support.
I'm also running 8.1.7.2 and get maybe 1-2 of these errors a month from the same PC. In our case this error didn't correspond with a database shutdown or a killed session. We also tried reinstalling the client software and this didn't fix it either. I think our error may be because of this one PC being on a very old part of our network that probably needs upgrading.

    The problem disappeared.

  • Who can give me a suggestion about java crash with Internal Error ID?

I running my server performance test, but after 7 hours, the jvm crashed and give a java internal error ID with "*53484152454432554E54494D450E43505001A8*",
and I can not query any valuable information from Google by this internal Error ID. Who can give me a light?
I have run the performance test on the other machine with the same service logic, the other environment not crash, It's very strange!

  • Internal error 00600 when using Blobs

    Cross posted from
    [Java forums|http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10706861]
We are having problems writing rows to tables that include a Blob column. Oracle version is 10g. Table schema looks like this:
CREATE TABLE xyResetRewind ( ResetRewind  NUMBER(38)  NOT NULL, RowDate      DATE        NOT NULL, ForRowDate  DATE        NOT NULL, DataClass    VARCHAR2(3)  NOT NULL, DataType    VARCHAR2(2)  NOT NULL, DataKeyVal  BLOB        NOT NULL, RRStatus    VARCHAR2(3)  NOT NULL, CreationDate TIMESTAMP    NOT NULL, LastUpdated  TIMESTAMP    NOT NULL, User_        VARCHAR2(16) NOT NULL )
and the SQL used to write it looks like this:
    MERGE INTO xyResetRewind USING DUAL ON (ResetRewind = ?) WHEN MATCHED THEN UPDATE SET RowDate      = ?, ForRowDate  = ?, DataClass    = ?, DataType    = ?, DataKeyVal  = ?, RRStatus    = ?, CreationDate = ?, LastUpdated  = ?, User_        = ? WHEN NOT MATCHED THEN INSERT ( ResetRewind, RowDate, ForRowDate, DataClass, DataType, DataKeyVal, RRStatus, CreationDate, LastUpdated, User_ ) VALUES ( ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ? )
The driver recommended by Oracle for 10g is version 10.2.0.4.0 Feb 2 2008. We have also tried 11.2.0.7.0 28 Aug 2008 (the 11g drivers) with no luck. We use either PreparedStatement.setBytes() or setObject passing the byte array for the BLOB content.
    We then get this error:
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [koklismem1: r_length is 0] , [], [], [], [], [], [], []       at oracle.jdbc.driver.DatabaseError.throwSqlException(DatabaseError.java:112)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer.processError(T4CTTIoer.java:331)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer.processError(T4CTTIoer.java:288)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4C8Oall.receive(T4C8Oall.java:745)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CPreparedStatement.doOall8(T4CPreparedStatement.java:219)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CPreparedStatement.executeForRows(T4CPreparedStatement.java:970)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleStatement.doExecuteWithTimeout(OracleStatement.java:1190)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.OraclePreparedStatement.executeInternal(OraclePreparedStatement.java:3370)       at oracle.jdbc.driver.OraclePreparedStatement.execute(OraclePreparedStatement.java:3476)       at com.inqwell.any.io.sql.AnySql.executePrepared(AnySql.java:372)   .   .
Our jdbc code uses only interface methods defined in Java, so no oracle-specific stuff is used or allowed.
There seems to be very little on the internet about this problem, the only things I could find being these:
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/faq/jdbc.html#501544
    http://www.gcqh.com/oracle/241
We haven't interfaced with Oracle for a number of years (we don't get this problem with mysql) so just for fun we tried an old version of the jdbc driver: version 9.0.2.0.0 from 6 April 2004, hmmm. Anyway, that works, but obviously this is not something we want to rely on.
Does anyone have an idea what this is and perhaps a better workaround than using ancient software?

Thanks for your reply. Oracle support is managed elsewhere in my company so I passed on your information. Apparently it's actually a different bug that applies in this case:
*Bug No. 8224110  ORA-00600[KOKLISMEM1: R_LENGTH IS 0] OCCURS WHEN EXECUTING MERGE STATEMENT*
Filed 03-FEB-2009 Updated 29-MAY-2009 Product Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition Product Version 10.2.0.4
Fixed in Product Version < no data>
*ORA-00600[koklismem1: r_length is 0] or ORA-600[12333] occurs when executing MERGE statement which has BLOB*
columns from JDBC application.  Executing MERGE statement which has BLOB columns, the following error   occurs on
the client side and ORA-600 occurs in server side.
I'm told there is no resolution as yet....

  • Internal error: Cannot obtain XAConnection

I am porting my application from WL8.1-SQl2000 to Sql Server2005. I went in for the Microsoft’s <i><b>MS SQL Server Driver(Type 4 XA) Versions:2000</b></i> and the corresponding one for non-XA also. Then in the next step where we usually give the other DB properties like DB name, server name etc, there is a field called “Properties” which defines the basic properties which we have configured. In that field, there is a new property having name-value pair : dataSourceName=SQL2000JDBC. I am not sure what this would do, so I just left it to remain & continued with the other things.
This, in no way affected the proper execution of my application.
I have 1 XA datasource & 3 non-XA datasources configured for my application.
When I start my server, in the comman prompt, a resource limit exception appears & then the server proceeds to start successfully. I am also abe to save things into the DB & do all other tests properly. But this keeps hindering me. Our DB server is configured to accept infinite connections, so its absurd to get a connection not available exception.
I doubt whether the initial datasource property that I have mentioned can have anything to do with this exception during startup. Please help me.

The pool's max capacity is defined as lower than the need at
the time. Please show me the full pool definition from the
config.xml. It may also have something to do with the fact
that your code is a startup class, and are you sure the
pool is ready at this time?

  • JVM 1.4.2_12-b03 Internal Error assistance?

    Hi all
We have a production application running on WebLogic 8.1 SP4 that has recently been crashing out giving the below error. We've tried adjusting our JVM settings from
    JAVA_OPTIONS="-Dnetworkaddress.cache.ttl=60 -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -XX:NewSize=512M -XX:MaxNewSize=512M -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+CMSParallelRemarkEnabled -verbose:gc -XX:+PrintGCDetails -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -XX:+PrintHeapAtGC -Xloggc:gc.log"
    to
    JAVA_OPTIONS="-server -Dnetworkaddress.cache.ttl=60 -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -XX:NewSize=512M -XX:MaxNewSize=512M -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -XX:+UseParallelGC -verbose:gc -XX:+PrintGCDetails -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -XX:+PrintHeapAtGC -Xloggc:gc.log "
as we believed the problem might lie with the CMS collector since the system bailed out whilst performing this type of collection but the system has since crashed with the revised arguments. Anyone encountered the same error?
The tail end of out gc.log reads

lists (as of this moment) the workaround -XX:-CMSParallelRemakrEnabled -XX:CMSMakrStackSize=64m
(or some suitable large value, i think the default is 8M, but am not sure; however
this can increase the GC pause "CMS-remark" pause times, which
could be as much as ~3 x on your 4 cpu box):-

    For more details see:
    http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=4615723
The latest publicly available version of 1.4.2 is 1.4.2_17, so you might
consider upgrading to that instead of to 1.4.2_14.
Aside: I notice that you are using the "client jvm"; you might consider the
server jvm (via -server) for improved performance.
