SUP 2.1.3 MBO creation using ODATA service

Hi All,
I am using SUP 2.1.3 and trying to consume OData service created using SEGW transaction on gateway. following an older document i moved ahead by creating XSD files from the XML file.
But,after uploading the XSD file , i chose the root element as 'feed' .
After this , one XSLT file is generated automatically.
But , when I click the XSLT file to edit , it shows error saying 'java.lang.NullPointerException' .
I have to follow the methodology of creating MBO's using OData service and then deploying it on server.
Please help me to move ahead with ODATA service in SUP 2.1.3 version.
Appreciate your quick help and assistance on this.

If i ignore the Null exception error and move ahead with the XSLT format and preview the data source i receive the below error:

Please let me know if anyone has worked on ODATA+MBO+SUP2.1.3. I know this is not the recommended approach but i have to follow this scenario and i know it can be achieved through this approach. JUst need your assistance experts.

Can you check if you are accessing web service URL in browser via some proxy server?
If yes, then you have to set the proxy settings in SMP3 Mobile workspace.
Steps:
Go to Window>Preferences in Mobile Workspace
Preferences box prompt out, choose "Network Connections"
Select "Manual" from Action Provider in the drop-down
Select "HTTP" >Click on "Edit"
Provide required proxy details with port number.

Getting Error while accessing the data using odata service

Iam new to SAP FIORI.
Iam getting the below error while accessing the data using odata service.
"Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not found)"
"No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin "
i have tried all the solutions like changing the url pattern "proxy/htttp".
and disabled - security in chrome (Chrome is Updated version).
i tried with IE still got the same problem.
And installed all the required software in eclipse
While installing GWPA plugin i got the following error.
let me know if any one have idea.

Yes, you do have the SAPR3 user.
But you don't seem to like to read documentation or learn about how the tools work or anything like that.
Therefore I gave you s simple way to reach your goal.
Of course it's possible to reuse the user.
But then you would have to deal with already existing tables, already existing data etc.
You don't seem to be able to do that. So, the easy steps might be better suited for your needs.

I have created an Odata service which is related to Products. But while calling it from eclipse using NetWeaver Gateway no data is coming to the output.

CAn you please try checking the same URL again in the browser ,(install a RestClient / JSON view extrension in chrome/firefox) to see if any data is being fetched
on the application side - please try disabling web security in chrome as per below
1)For Windows... create a Chrome shortcut on your desktop.
Right-clic > properties > Shortcut
Edit "target" path :
"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --args --disable-web-security
or
2) type below command in Windows RUN
chrome.exe --user-data-dir="c:/temp/chromedev" --disable-web-security
and try running the same application again.

IDOC - PO Creation using a service without master record

I can not find the field to populate the cost center when i create a PO using a service without master data (buy using Material Group) via transaction WE19.
The accounting information is present on "E1BPMEPOACCOUNT" segment, but the cost center and G/L Account in this segment were not recognized by IDOC because this segment is used to populate Account Assignment tab on Item Detail Level and my problem appear one step before when after I populate the service tab at Item Detail Level and press .
In few words I didn´t find the correct field to populate the cost center on Basic type "PORDCR101".
I tried populate the field COSTCENTER on the segment "E1BPMEPOACCOUNT" but didn´t work.
Maybe is there another basic type to use in this specific case?

In the inbound side create a new entry in WE57 tcode.. with the functio mdoule as "IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS", basic type "ORDERS05", extn< specify the extn u created at outbound side>, message type "ORDERS". Now see if it is working.

PR creation using BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE, Service lines query

Hi,
I am trying to create the PR for service agreements and i'm able to create the same.
My first query is how to populate the data in LIMIT tab(Overall Limit & Expected value) for each line item of PR. I am using BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE but its not populating the values in LIMIT tab.
2nd Query: BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE is not checking the validity of the Requisitioner ID and even if the ID is not valis it is creating the PR. Does this BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE restrict this? I guess it does not. I have created so many PR with invalid ID's while testing and it seems this bapi doesn't care about requisitioner id at all. Please advice some workaround.

Issue with service entry sheet creation using synchronous service

Hi,
I am using a synchronous service inside that i am calling bapi bapi_entrysheet_create with testrun
set,so that commit doesnot happen inside the bapi,then outside i am explicitly calling commit work.
Still database table is not updated,commit is not working.

But I cannot set test run as initial because if testrun is set to initial bapi_entrysheet_create logic
is written in such a way that it calls commit work inside the bapi....and so we cannot rollback later
in the synchronous service.

How to use Alias name in OData service in SAP HANA

Hi,
     I need to change one column name with alias of another name in odata service definition or odata url running in rest client. I am trying to give alias name with as key in the service definition like sql query.
ex:
There is one table with column name of PRODUCT_ID. I exporting that table via odata service to SAP UI. In the UI i dont want the product id column as PRODUCT_ID. It should be ike "Prodcut". Like we are using in SQL example
select "PRODUCT_ID" as "Product" from "producttab";
But i can't use as key for alias name. So i am getting syntax error.
I have tried in rest client also ie executing odata file in rest based service. But i got error only.
If anyone knows about this alias name in odata service, Please help me to resolve this issue..

     Actually in odata service definition i am using attribute and calculation views only. But in some case from the model view itself i need to use some alias names to the UI through odata service.
     For example in attribute view i have some columns with name col1,col2... I am getting those columns in UI using odata service, for particular col2 column i need to change column name as product. And i am using the same view as source of another odata service in that service i need to change that column name as productname.
     In that case i need alias name usage. So that only i am searching alias keyword in odata service.
     Is there any possibility to use alias names in odata service.

in aforesaid discussion they have said plz give path to xsa:<package path> but when i go to database trace config there is no option where i can give the path so please help...

In the database trace / trace configuration dialog: first be sure to check Show All Components. Then in the input box at the top of the dialog type xsa:<your package>. You can type just a partial package name as well and the search will find all matches.

Classic mode of creating Odata services

How to consume of OData service in SUP 2.1.3 for creating MBO for HWC?
Our OData service is having mandatory filters which needs to be passed.
http://xxx:8000/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_TEST_V2_SRV/Entity_Set_Name/?$filter=Filter1 eq 'value1'and Filter2 eq 'value2'
So, while creating XSD from XML should we need to use the above URL or http://xxx:8000/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_TEST_V2_SRV/?$format=xml
If we are using http://xxx:8000/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_TEST_V2_SRV/?$format=xml and convert it in XSD then we are not able to see FEED in the MBO creation.
Also, if we are using http://xxx:8000/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_TEST_V2_SRV/Entity_Set_Name/?$filter=Filter1 eq 'value1'and Filter2 eq 'value2' and convert it into XSD then we are able to see the FEED in MBO creation but while choosing the fields it is throwing us java.lang.nullpointer exception.
Can anyone explain us the solution for the problem?

Is there a particular reason why SUP 2.1.3 is used and not the latest 2.3.4? It is recommended to move to the most recent version if possible/new project.

Issues with ODATA service creation

Hi Gurus,
I am facing some issues with ODATA service creation. I have an analytic view which I want to consume via SAP UI5.
As per guides and blogs, I need to create 3 files, namely .xsaccess, .xsapp and .xsodata. I created these three files but at the same time .xsodata and .xsaccess got created at one more place. That place is my package which I checked out while creating the repository. Now when I try to activate my .xsaccess or .xsapp file, I get an error message - "The file name .xsaccess or .xsapp already exists and only 1 file is allowed per package"
for more info please revert.

Error in : Purchase order Creation using BAPI_PO_CREATE1

I am trying to create a PO using a BAPI - BAPI_PO_CREATE1
I want the new PO to have all the characteristics of an existing PO. whose PO # is stored in wa_order_split_create-docnr and for the new PO, i want the quantity from wa_order_split_create-qty_acptd and the delivery data to be wa_order_split_create-dly_date. But this process and code below gives a short dump in the std FM - MEPO_DOC_ITEM_GET . It raises an exception of failure. I am trying to create many new PO's in the loop below. If there is just one row, sometimes, it creates the PO even with the exception failure ( which is pretty weird).
Am i making any mistake while filling the header or item or schedule lines for the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 ? Any tips or clues why I am getting a dump ?

Hell guys,
I am trying to create a PO using a BAPI - BAPI_PO_CREATE1
I want the new PO to have all the characteristics of an existing PO. whose PO # is stored in wa_order_split_create-docnr and for the new PO, i want the quantity from wa_order_split_create-qty_acptd and the delivery data to be wa_order_split_create-dly_date. But this process and code below gives a short dump in the std FM - MEPO_DOC_ITEM_GET . It raises an exception of failure. I am trying to create many new PO's in the loop below. If there is just one row, sometimes, it creates the PO even with the exception failure ( which is pretty weird).
Am i making any mistake while filling the header or item or schedule lines for the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 ? Any tips or clues why I am getting a dump ?
