Suppress authentication for a WSDL generated from SA

Hi ,
I have a SOAP communication channel and generated a wsdl from the sender agreement.
The WSDL requires authentication information both in design time and run time.
I would like to suppress(or default) it in both these cases. Is there any way to do this ?

Hello Bharathwaj ,
There are two authentication mechanisams available for Web Services, one is the Basic, where we provide login details at design time and runtime in Visual Admin. There is another technique which is by enabling Client Certificates (i.e. X.508 Client certificate). You can use Client Certificate mechanisam and suppress the authorization details at design time and runtime.

WSDL generated from service that references XMLBean is invalid

When I validate a WSDL generated from a service that imports XMLBean classes (auto-generated by the XMLBeans Builder) it shows numerous errors including src-resolve.4.2. and ?The part ?parameters? has an invalid value ?hello? ??. All my schemas validate without error in both Workshop and XMLSpy. This happens for both the WSDL generated from the right click menu and from the auto generated WSDL located in the build sub-directory.
Related to this problem, when I deploy the web service (for some reason I can deploy it if I don?t deploy the WSDL) sometimes I either can reach the web service and sometimes I receive a failure related to the parse of the WSDL stating java.util.NoSuchElementException as the reason.
Has anyone else seen these kinds of problems?

CHARM error - No Target system for Normal transport generated from another client

Hi Gurus,
This is regarding normal change. We have two clients in development. (Workbench and Customizing)
We were trying to do Automatic import from development client to Quality. When importing the job, I’m getting an error related to Project Status switch. "you cannot import any request for the project at the moment" It works fine for another development client and we can see the target system in Project status switch.
But, checking the Project Status switch, looks like there’s no Target System defined for Normal transport generated from another client of development.
I attached some screenshots related to this.
Can you please help how to add a target system for another client of development ?

yes, client 110 is present in the task list of the project. yes route is defined because it is working for urgent change

How do I Add Authentication to the WSDL generated?

Hi Experts,
I am creating web service in CAF to get All task assigned to a user using BPM API.
The WSDL generated while testing from wsnavigator is picking up as a guest user even if I am entering the user details in invocation parameters.
Can some one tell me how do I add authentication to the WSDL I have generated in CAF?

You Can find the above Section in : Go to http://hostname:port/nwa and open Configuration--->Connectivity --> Single Service Administration and open Service Definitions tab and select the application service for which you want to create the Authentication.

Full qualified host name not appearing in url within WSDL generated from PI

We are on PI711 ( AIX OS ) and are stuck with an issue of the fully qualifed hostname not appearing within WSDL file generated in PI71 for a webservice it exposes using the Integration builder
We changed the host name in exchange profile ( all locations ) from hostname to hostname.companyname.intra and also in the ABAP stack as recommended in all OSS notes.
We use the Integration Directory --> Sender Agreement --> Display WSDL option to generate the WSDL.
Its to be noted that all locations ( including url for WSDL ) have the fully qualified hostname except the url within the WSDL.
Dioes anyone come across this issue/ know which parameters to be updated on the PI server to make the url within the WSDL for the PI webservice to have the fully qualified host name ?

As Mentioned by Baskar donu2019t use proposed URL .. while creating WSDL in Id.. but instead provide URL in following format and use it in that place and create WSDL.. details about URL format..
the URL format is fix. and it is simple.
http://host:HTTPPort/XISOAPAdapter/MessagingServlet?channel=party:sendersystem:CC_sender
in above URL provide your sender service component name instead of sender system.
and provide SOAP sender communication channel name in place of CC_sender
provide your PI system host and http name in place of host and https and use this..

WSDL generated from java class - how to include headers?

I am using the servicegen ant task and generating a web service based on a java class. I would like to include a username and password in the soap header and read that info using a handler. I am able to get that working, but how do I get the auto-generated WSDL to include the username/password header information? Is there something that I have to do in the handler so that this information is included in the WSDL?

I did do this and I got the following error when deploying to the Stand-alone OC4j:

I am quite sure what it is saying. It generated the code for the Interface: dbdatapackage.DVDataWS. Impl class. Why would it not do it right? What expection is it complaining about? java.lang.Exception?

Generating consumer proxy for a webservice generated from a BAPI

Hello gurus,
I'm having some kind of troubles when I try to generate a a consumer proxy for a service that I have created from an existing BAPI.
First of all, I have activated the service in tx SICF, I've assigned an endpoint from the Tx SOAMANAGER, and I can check the
correct work of the webservice from the wsnavigator, but the developerst still can't use it from the visual studio.
I was browsing help.sap.com and I found that I need to generate a consumer proxy and this must be linked with a logical port.
So I was trying to generate the consumer proxy, but I can't do it because I can't find the service in the Tx SE80.
How can I generate the consumer proxy?

Multiple doc type setting for service PR generated from Maintenance order

My client has multiple company code and has different document type for PR and PO as per the company code. For generating the service PR from maintenance order system take the document type of PR defined in the config.
Is it possible to define multiple document type for service PR depend on the company code/ Plant level?

Hi Ravi,
I used the User Exit COZF0001 . Since we can assign only one PR doc type in the config .
I have assigned one PR doc type in configuration which will work for a company code and all their respective plant. So in this case user exit wont do any job for changing the doc type.
You will defined a condition in the User exit saying that if company code /plant which you get it from maintenance order is not same (Config ) then provide the PR doc type which you want to create for respect plant or company code.
I dont have coding right now with me. You need a small coding to be done to create the separate PR doc type in EBAN-BSART
with respect to plant . Check in your configuration at what point of time you are creating the PR either in saving or release of MO. You can take the even to activate the User exit.
Consult your ABAPer they can do in 10 min.

WAS 6.20: Why does WSDL generated from BAPI includes the data type BCD3.0?

I'm trying to invoke a BAPI (specifically BAPI_REQUISITION_GETDETAIL) via WAS 6.20 however the WSDL that's returned from the Web Service Browser contains the following Schema:

The xsd namespace prefix is defined as follows:
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
.NET is complaining about this data type with the following parser error:
Schema parsing error Type 'http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema:bcd3.0' is not declared.
and as far as I can tell binary coded decimal (bcd) isn't part of the Schema specification.
Can anyone shed any insight as to why serialization is occurring this way and if there's anyway to correct or work around it?

did you try thr quiet line test?
are you connected directly to the master or test socket? do you have other sockets apart from the master?

Hi.
We've seen that error too few times.
We downloaded the sourcecode for the wdsl generator and discovered,
that in our case, it was because we had no user defined objects.
Its actually a bug as far as I can see, where the wdsl generator tries
to enumerate a empty recordset, and crashes.

Invoking C# WS from java axis proxy generated from the same WSDL

I am trying to transparently use the same java interface for invoking a java axis WS and a C# WS generated from the same WSDL interface.
I believe the problem may be that the .NET web service which is generated from the WSDL file, is dynamically exposing a WSDL file which is not exactly the same as the original WSDL used to generate the abstract C# class with "wsdl.exe"
When I try to invoke the C# web service with the java axis client I get the error message:
"Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction: ."
Any suggestions about how to be able to use the same client interface from java, to invoke a C# web service and a java axis web service supporting (i.e. generated from) the same WSDL ?

The JNI method name in the .h file is different to that in the .c file.

The difference of jar files that were generated from wsdl

hello there:
I used maven's jaxws plugin to generate jar files from two wsdl links. The links are pretty much the same except for one line:
<wsdlsoap:address location="http://<env>.XXXXXX"the <env> indicate the environment is a prod or uat. Other than that, the wsdl is the same.
The question is, can the jars generated from respective wsdl be used interchangably? I did notice there a few bytes different from the resultant two jars, and the test shows they CAN'T be used interchangably.
Can anyone explain why?
