Suppress the pop dialog box in ALV report

Hi Gurus,
I have developed an ALV report where we can edit the data and save to data base.
For a field, it checks the value on value table and displays a pop with error "This value does not exsit". Automatically.
I have not written an validation for this field.
When i try to close the dialoge box it does not close.

Hi,
What the field reference you have given, there is check table which it is validating for the field, check it there might be a check table.

  • How to suppress the Print Dialog Box?

    Running an (ASP.NET /Crystal Reports 2008) application and using CrystalReportViewer control. Is there way to suppress the print dialog box when I click the print icon on the report tool bar?
    Edited by: juRamz on Aug 26, 2009 2:54 PM

    Hello,
    Sort of, CR needs the info. Only option is to create your own print button that has all the info filled in. It's a Windows Framework Common dialog box that CR calls so it's the OS that is prompting for the info.
    Using ReportClientDoc here's a possible solution, note that this too has a dialog box to select the printer:
    private void button1_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) // Print To Printer button
        System.Drawing.Printing.PrintDocument pDoc = new System.Drawing.Printing.PrintDocument();
        PrintReportOptions rasPROpts = new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers.PrintReportOptionsClass();
        CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportDefModel.PrintOptions newOpts = new PrintOptionsClass();
        //CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.PrintOptions newOpts = new PrintOptionsClass();
        pDoc.PrinterSettings.PrinterName = cboCurrentPrinters.Text;
        rasPROpts.PrinterName = cboCurrentPrinters.Text;
        rasPROpts.PaperSize = (CrPaperSizeEnum)
            pDoc.PrinterSettings.PaperSizes[cboCurrentPaperSizes.SelectedIndex].Kind;
        rasPROpts.PaperSource = (CrPaperSourceEnum)
            pDoc.PrinterSettings.PaperSources[cboDefaultPaperTrays.SelectedIndex].Kind;
        // new API added to allow changing printing options
        newOpts = new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportDefModel.PrintOptions();
        newOpts.DissociatePageSizeAndPrinterPaperSize = true;
        rptClientDoc.PrintOutputController.ModifyPageMargins(0, 0, 0, 0);
        rptClientDoc.PrintOutputController.PrintReport(rasPROpts);
        MessageBox.Show("Printing report.", "RAS", MessageBoxButtons.OK,MessageBoxIcon.Information );
    Thank you

  • Suppress the pop-up box in iCal when "The server responded with an error"

    So there are tons of questions already on this site about this pop-up error in iCal when trying to connect to Google calendars or MobileMe calendars. My issue is that the connection is fine 90% of the time, but every now and then the connection fails (it checks every 5 minutes) and I get this pop-up.
    Now in a perfect world, this error would not result in a pop-up that demands my immediate attention, but would fail silently and simply try again 5 minutes later. Normally Apple's software design is sensible and would do things this way, so I'm totally confused why they think a pop-up (and bouncing dock icon) is anything but annoying, especially when I know it's not a big deal and will probably connect successfully next time.
    Soooo... is there a top-secret way I can suppress this pop-up box? It is one of those things that can drive one insane. I even switched to BusyCal for a while but decided it wasn't quite worth $50 just to be rid of the pop-up.

    Is this the pop-up you get?
    The request for account “[email protected]” failed.
    The server responded with
    “HTTP/1.1 502 Bad Gateway”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
    I've never seen it before but am getting it this evening (UK time). Also if I try to log in to MMe Calendar it's not logging in but going to 'find my iPhone' like it did when Mail was mucking about a few weeks back.

  • Delete the entry from dropdown list in the pop up window in ALV report

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement in the ALV interactive report ZMM_IMPL .If we enter selection screen parameters its displaying the first screen.If we click on 'Goods Issue' tab ,it display the pop up window for Requirement Pick list with Batch number ,Storage location and Quantity.Here we have F4 option for batch number(MCH1-CHARG) and we could see all batches (with stock and without stock) in the drop down.
    Now my requirement is i would need to delete the non stock batches from drop down values.
    Ex:we clich F4 in batch number field(CHARG) ,could see 4 batches Test1 ,Test2 ,Test3 and Test4 .Here Test1 ,Test2 are Batch stock and other two are Non stock batches. We could see all these batches (with and without stock) in MCHB table.Now i would need to delete non stock batches(Batch with zero qty (MCHB-CLABS = 0) from drop down.
    Any idea on this.
    Regards,
    Rpn

    Hi,
    User wants to appear only batches with stock value in the drop down .Here Batches test1, test2 , test3 have stock but  test4  has no stock value. Now the requirement is  if stock does not exist in any of those batches it should not appear in the drop down and propose batches based on quantity.
    Batch stock value can be seen through transaction MB52  and could see only Test1.Test2 and Test3.

  • How to suppress the protocol dialog screen in ALV grid ?

    To check the values in the ALV grid we make use of the method add_protocol_entry from the class interface CL_ALV_CHANGED_DATA_PROTOCOL. The coloring of the wrong cells in the ALV grid is a nice feature but the popup screen that appears on every entry that is incorrect is not so nice. Is there a possibility to suppress this dialog screen without stopping the coloring feature? Or is there an other way to get this coloring feature in the specific cells of the ALV grid. We have already tried the emphasize option in the field catalog but in this case the coloring of a cell disappears when the cursor is set on the colored field in the ALV grid.
    I hope somebody can help us.
    Thanks and greetings,

    As I understand by adding the PROTOCOL you are trying to validate some fields and display those with a different color.
    Instead, if you can validate and can change the color manually I think the pop ups can be avoided. All you have to  do is to add a nested internal table to the main internal table that has the display data. This nested table will be of type LVC_T_STYLE. You can add rows, one for each field that you want to display in a different color and also spcify the style in which you want to display.
    Once you do that those fields should be displayed with different colors.

    Ravi

  • Suppress the Print dialog box in Air /Flex

    Hello,
    I am trying to print the pdf files(which is located in my system) directly in the printer without showing print dialog box .

  • How to Suppress the POP UP window for Print out Device

    Hi All,
    I have One ALV Grid report and in this report I want to SUBMIT another report which, when executes gives the POP UP window for Printer Device and sends the output to that device. if we give LOCL, sends output to Spool.
    So I want to Suppress that POP UP Window and by default that POP UP window should take 'LOCL' as Printer Device.
    Thanks in advance,
    Helpful answer get awareded.

    On the submit command is a spool parameters option.
    The addition WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO suppresses the print dialog box that is displayed as standard when you use the addition TO SAP-SPOOL.
    The addition SPOOL PARAMETERS is used to transfer the print parameters in a pri_params structure that belongs to the data type PRI_PARAMS from the ABAP Dictionary.
    PRI_PARAMS-PDEST specificies the output device.

  • Supressing Parameter dialog box on Refresh Report

    After some tinkering, I've figured out how to get a parameter passed from a VB.NET form to a Crystal Report:
    Dim paramFields As New CrystalDecisions.Shared.ParameterFields()
    Dim paramField As New CrystalDecisions.Shared.ParameterField()
    Dim discreteVal As New CrystalDecisions.Shared.ParameterDiscreteValue()
    paramField.ParameterFieldName = "MyDateRange"
    discreteVal.Value = Common.MyDates
    paramField.CurrentValues.Add(discreteVal)
    paramFields.Add(paramField)
    crvBalances.ParameterFieldInfo = paramFields
    This works just fine when the report is first opened in the Crystal Report Viewer.  If I open the report a second time, however, using a different parameter, the old data is still on the report, and when I click the Refresh button in the report viewer, up pops that Parameter dialog box.  I set the option to discard any saved data when loading the report, but that didn't help at all.  Is there a way to KEEP the parameter dialog box suppressed and be able to refresh the report?
    I'm running Visual Studio 2008, and using the version of Crystal that comes with same.  Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    I am not sure I quite understand the flow, but here is my view of it:
    Load report
    Enter parameters
    View report
    Close report
    Re-load the same report
    Re-use the parameters entered in (2) above
    View report
    For ensuring that the previous data is not on the report (e.g.; step (3)), make sure that the report is disposed correctly ( use .close and .dispose on the report object). As long as the "Saved Data" option is not enabled (see KBA 1984381), the report should not have any data on re-use.
    Re-using the same parameters as you used in (2) will require that you somehow save what the user entered and on second load of the report, step (5) you enter those parameters in your code. There are no CR APIs that will do this for you.

  • Suppress default editor dialog box

    Is there any way to suppress default editor dialog box that comes at 1st launch of Dreamweaver CS5. I need to automate some stuff and cant figure out how to handle it.
    I cannot attach screenshot of this dialog box here, but it says that "Dreamweaver CS5 will set itself as Default editor for the following file types:" and gives option as jsp, asp, css etc.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Suffice it to say for the purpose of this thread that when I did the ICS "upgrade" to my Droid 4, nothing but trouble followed until I did a hard reset and had to reinstall/customize everything...lots and lots of frustration and lost time, including a whole day when my phone was not usable at all (slow/rebooting on it's own/battery running hot/high cpu usage/battery dying in 90 minutes)...and I an NOT the only one.
    Anyway, my wife has a Droid 4 as well, and she is being pestered by the dialog box that keeps asking her if she wants to do the upgrade. We do NOT want that "upgrade" installed on my wife's phone, but dealing with that dialog box is getting very tiresome.
    Anyone know how to suppress that dialog box so it stops popping up?
    Thanks...
    There is no way to do this that meets the ToS on this board (as Verizon wants everyone to be at the same software level for a particular phone model).  Search forums other than this one and the Motorola one for the information you need.

  • MS Word: This file is read-only. To save a copy, click OK, and give the document a new name in the save dialog box.

    This is not a question. I believe I've found a new issue and the fix for it.
    The situation:
    A brand new iMac 27" running Yosemite 10.10.1
    MacMini server running 10.8.5 server.
    The issue:
    Client on iMac trying to work on MS Word documents stored on server was requiring him to save the documents to his desktop and then copy them back to the folder on the server. The exact error message was, "This file is read-only. To save a copy, click OK, and give the document a new name in the save dialog box."
    The issue is unique to this computer in an office of 10 client computers and three servers.
    Attempted fixes:
    Verified that the ".Temporaryitems" folder existed and the permissions were set properly.
    Repaired permissions on the client and the network share.
    Definitive fix:
    By default, Yosemite 10.10.1 uses SMB for connecting file shares. When I overrode the default and switched to AFP protocol, the issue went away.
    I hope this helps someone else.
    Rob

    That was it. What an operating system. It is very helpful to view files you are looking for. But if you have preview on you cannot save files.
