Survey: locked questionnaire in creation

Hello,
We have SRM installation with:
SAP_ABA 700 0010 SAPKA70010
SAP_BASIS 700 0010 SAPKB70010
SRM_SERVER 550 0007 SAPKIBKT07
When a vendor logs the ROS registration form (BSP ROS_SELF_REG) a
questionnaire is sent to his e-mail as a web-link.
When the vendor tries to open the questionnaire link the system
issues an error message due to lock problems.
This is exactly the symptom of SAP Note 1030665 - SURVEY/WEB_REQUEST:
Lock problems during creation .
We implemented this note but the problem still happens.
We also checked Sap Note 912967 BSP session does not terminate correctly
We tried the solution exposed in this note (do not have pop-up blocks
in the browser) but the problem continues.
Anybody has a solution?
Thanks.
Guido

Hi Guido,
you need to configure an anonymouse login for the ROS Services.
Assign a user and a password in the service files.
Cheers,
Claudia

  • CRM Survey Suit - Questionnaire

I created a questionnaire and then translated it into German, Spanish and French.   I then activated the translations.  I now need to add additional questions/answers to the survey.  Is there a way to change the English version but not lose the translations?  Every time I copy the survery in the original language it is losing the translations.  I've tried to create a new verison but it did not create with the translations either.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Marianne,
I think you must use a walkthrough and when adding new answers you copy them as a new name so you can maintain the original translations, if you find any other way please send us the details.

  • Ideas for Surveys/forms Master file creation

    Hello,
My goal is to create a form that I can use to enter answers from a survey into one master list.
I already know how to create a form and distribute it, and have it returned and entered into a master list.  However, I want to create a form that only I will use to enter responses from a physical paper form.
However, I want to create a PDF that I will print off and distribute physically.  The physical forms will return to me, and then I will be the one that will type these responses.  I would like to type them into the original PDF and "Submit" them to one master list; however, I can't figure out how to do this without distributing the form.
I tried playing with buttons, and saw that I can submit forms, but I couldn't figure out what URL to type in.  I tried using a destination file, but I'm not doing it correctly.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work?  Should I be using a different method, or program all together?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

The submit URL is to a web page that has script to parse the data an provide further processing. You will have to write the script for the web page processing. Depending upon the version of Acrobat, you can either use ADBC from Acrobat to populate a database or create the form in LiveCycle Designer and create a data connection to a database.

  • ROS Questionnaire link sent by email

    Dear All,
I request some piece of information from you.
    Following is the problem scenario:
The customer has 2 surveys :-
    a) SurveyA questionnaire QuesA :-
the system sends the email with the link to the questionnaire (without enclosed file) and asks for a userid and password from the supplier when he tries to access the link in the mail.
If the supplier enters the ROS system userid and password, he can view the form, fill it and submit it.
The questionnaire is visible in the preselected vendor list.
    b) Survey B, questionnaire QuesB
The system sends the email with enclosed questionnaire. The supplier can view the form, fill it and submit it.The questionnaire link is not visible in the preselected vendor list.
    The customer has 2 queries:-
    1) What setting difference is there between the 2 questionnaires that the system sends for one, an email with a link to the questionnaire and for the other, the questionnaire enclosed in the email.
    2) Why does the questionnaire ask for userid and password from supplier when he tries to access the questionnaire via the link in the email?
Kindly advise on the above queries.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Surveys in quotation transactions

    Hello
Is it possible to attach surveys in quotations? I'm assuming not in the exact same way you would do it for Opportunity or leads... is there a workaround?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Unfortunately surveys or questionnaires are not possible for creation in quotations.
They are possible for leads, opportunities, activities.
One option for you would be to have a follow-up activity from a quotation where you could assign the questionnaire to the activity.
But the assigning of a survey directly to a quotation itself is not possible in standard.

  • Survey results not updated to Application

    Hi Experts,
I have created a Survey and Questionnaire in SAP-BIW using "SURVEY COCKPIT" (TCODE : SURVEY).
I have than assigned one Target Group to that survey which is having 3 recepients (e-mail ID's).
When I send the Survey to them the mail is deliverd to recepients with survey form as an attachment, but when they are submitting the Questionnaire/Survey the results are not updated into the system.
I have enabled the setting for Questionnaire as Direct Update into Application.
Still the problem persists. I have also done all the required settings in SICF and SO50.
    Please help.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Dear Nishant
For inspection point you need to import SAMPLE_RESULTS also similar to CHAR_RESULTS. A simple method you can adopt is
First create an inspection lot and record this manualy. Once you have recorded it pass the inspection lot to this BAPI - BAPI_INSPOPER_GETDETAIL. Check the data in this BAPI
The same pattern of DATA has to be passed in the BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS
This is BAPI is running fine for me. Please check and let me know if you have any issues

  • Locking Ztransaction

    Hi Experts,
i want to lock the ztransaction in change mode.i searched in sdn i came to know by using lock object i can lock it.i understood how to create lock object.which is generating two function modules.my question is how to use this function modules in my program..
i want to set lock object for creation and change mode both.because while creation the number will generate automatically.so i want to lock this also..please provide me the sample coding of any program
please do needful as soon as possible.
    Thx.

    Hi,
Incase you want to lock the table during update then before the update step call the enqueue FM and after the update step call the dequeue FM.
As an example you can see this.
      call function 'ENQUEUE_E_TABLE'
           exporting
                tabname        = ld_tabname
                varkey         = ld_varkey
           exceptions
                foreign_lock   = 1
                system_failure = 2
                others         = 3.
Do the update operation on the table and then dequeue.
      call function 'DEQUEUE_E_TABLE'
           exporting
                tabname = ld_tabname
                varkey  = ld_varkey
           exceptions
                others  = 1.
      if sy-subrc ne 0.
        message id     sy-msgid
                type   'I'
                number sy-msgno
                with   sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
      endif.
The varkey contains the value of the key fields concatenate together so as to lock the particular record.
If you specify an incomplete key then several records will be locked.

  • Lock table is out of available lock entries

    Hi,
I'm using BDB 4.8 via Berkeley DB XML. I'm adding a lot of XML documents (ca. 1000) in one transaction and get "Lock table is out of available lock entries". My locks number is set to 100000 (it's too much but still...).
I know that I probably should not put so many docs in the same transaction, but why BDB throws "not enough locks" error? Aren't 100000 locks enough? (I also tried to set 1 million for testing purposes)
As a side effect question, may I change the number of locks after environment creation (but before opening it)?
P.S. Hope it's not offtop on this forum
    Thanks in advance,
    Vyacheslav

    Hello,
As you mention, "Lock table is out of available lock entries" indicates that there are more locks than your underlying database environment is configured for. Please take a look at the documentation on "Configuring locking: sizing the system" section of the Berkeley DB Reference Guide at:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-
    db/db/programmer_reference/lock_max.html
    From there:
The maximum number of locks required by an application cannot be easily estimated. It is possible to calculate a maximum number of locks by multiplying the maximum number of lockers, times the maximum number of lock objects, times two (two for the two possible lock modes for each object, read and write). However, this is a pessimal value, and real applications are unlikely to actually need that many locks. Reviewing the Lock subsystem statistics is the best way to determine this value.
What information is the lock subsystem statistics showing? You can get this with db_stat -c or programmatically with the environment lock_stat method.
    Thanks,
    Sandra

  • Help...Vendor Evaluation Websurvey not showing

    Dear All,
Im facing a problem in Vendor evaluation. I've done the following steps:
    1. Create Questionnaire and assign it to Survey
    2. Define Event for survey
    3. Activate SRM_VE_SERVICE and UWS_FORM_SERVICE in SICF
When I create confirmation for PO, the survey page should appear automatically so I can fill the questionnaire. But it only show a blank page. Does anyone has ever experienced the same problem?
    Rgds,
    Aleluya.

    Hi Aleluya ,
you nee to perform this config steps
1.To create surveys and questionnaires, make the necessary settings in Customizing for Supplier
Relationship Management (SRM) under SRM Server Integration with Other mySAP Components
Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (SRM)
Web Survey Cockpit for SRM Supplier Evaluation .
or you can use  this tcode  BBP_EVAL_SURVEY
    2. To create a Web survey, choose Survey Create from the menu. The name and the identifier
can be chosen freely. The survey credentials are not used for calling up the questionnaire later on,
but are helpful for categorizing the different questionnaires.
    3. After having saved a survey for the first time, you can add a new target group for mass data to its
target group hierarchy. No additional user information (e-mail, user) is needed here, because user
information is added to the questionnaire at runtime.
    4. To create a questionnaire, choose the Questionnaire pushbutton.
    Note
    Thanks & Regards

  • Role for Vendor Evaluation

    Hi experts
i'd like to know what are the standard role for vendor evaluation and vendor qualify in SRM EBP 7.0.

    Supplier Evaluation
You can use Supplier Evaluation in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) to evaluate your suppliers by means of Web-based surveys. You can tailor individual surveys and questionnaires, and select the criteria to evaluate. You can then transfer the data that you gather from the questionnaires and surveys to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP BI). You can use this information to help you select suppliers and negotiate conditions.
For more information on reporting in SAP BI, see the SAP NetWeaver documentation on SAP Help Portal at  http://help.sap.com  SAP NetWeaver  SAP NetWeaver <release> Library  SAP Library  SAP NetWeaver Library  BI Content  Supplier Relationship Management  Supplier Evaluation .
    Prerequisites
You need to compile questionnaires using the WebSurvey Cockpit. For more information, see the SAP NetWeaver documentation on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com  SAP NetWeaver  SAP NetWeaver <release> Library  SAP Library  SAP NetWeaver Library  SAP NetWeaver by Key Capability  Application Platform by Key Capability  Business Services  Web Survey .
When you use the Supplier Survey Cockpit (see below), you can access the WebSurvey Cockpit from the SAP NetWeaver Portal. To compile a questionnaire, in this case, click on the Supplier Evaluation tab strip. Then click on Create Questionnaire.
    Features
There are two different methods to collect data to evaluate supplier performance:
Event-driven evaluation. For example, when saving an invoice, a questionnaire is presented to the user
Ad-hoc evaluation through surveys managed with the Supplier Survey Cockpit
    Event-Driven Evaluation
SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) supports event-driven questionnaires for two specific occasions:
    Saving of a confirmation
    Saving of an invoice
    Note
The event-driven evaluation and the ad-hoc evaluation use separate InfoProviders in SAP NetWeaver BI. The InfoProvider that is used for event-driven evaluation is also used for evaluation triggered from out of the Advanced Supplier List.
    End of the note.
These events trigger a questionnaire, which pops up on the screen or enable a button to open the questionnaire. To carry out event-driven evaluation, you first have to specify in Customizing when and under which circumstances you want the evaluation to take place. For example, you can define that the evaluation is to occur for certain product categories, or suppliers, or purchasing organizations. You can also define the frequency (for example, every invoice/confirmation, or every second invoice/confirmation, and so on). For more information, see Customizing:  Integration with Other SAP Components  Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse  Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (SRM)  Define Events for Supplier Evaluation in SRM
    Process
Supplier Evaluation is used in the Confirmation and Invoice applications to evaluate day-to-day activities on the basis of operational documents. It can also be used from the Approved Supplier List.

    Ad-Hoc Evaluation: Supplier Survey Cockpit
The Supplier Survey Cockpit is an application with which you can manage surveys to gain information about your suppliers. After completion of a survey, the survey data is transferred to SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) for reporting. Analyzing the survey outcomes in SAP NetWeaver BI helps you to always be up on your suppliers' performance regarding, for example, reliability, quality, and service.
The Supplier Survey Cockpit enables you to gather information independently of a certain purchasing event. With the Supplier Survey Cockpit, you can do the following:
    Set up a survey
Assign a questionnaire to the survey
Distribute the questionnaire via e-mail and
    Monitor the responses
    Features
To access the Supplier Survey Cockpit, choose Supplier Evaluation and then Survey Management under Detailed Navigation.
By default, you find three queries: A survey query, a survey package query, and a survey monitor query. Depending on the query you choose, the table below the queries displays different information.
To manage surveys, choose the survey query. Click on Create to create a new survey. Select a survey from the table and click on Display, Edit, or Delete to display, change, or delete a survey.
To manage survey packages, choose the survey package query and click on the corresponding buttons.
To download the table contents in MS Excel format, click on Export.
For more information on the queries, which serve to monitor surveys, see Survey Monitoring.

    Hi Anita,
In SRM, Vendor Evaluation provides you with Web-based surveys that you can use to evaluate your vendors.
