SUS BADI  and the XI CONFIG

We are on Extended Classic Scenario in EBP  and we are using SUS to create PO . But we still need to pass invoices to SAP R/3.
I guess we can achieve this by custom development in the areas of SUS BADIs and the XI layer configuration. Can somebody share which badi's to use and what kind of XI config changes will be required ?
Can you pleaes give me a path for the  complete SUS Config with XI settings .

  • BT - The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

    The Good
    I see BT getting a hammering in this forum for upload speeds and broken promises.
    I want to say that BT Engineer came round today as promised and sorted my problems out.
    Ran some tests and although he said they seemed ok, he did an AC test? Said that it was marginal at 54 (anybody know what this is?)
    He has connected a different line and the AC result went up to 75 which is good (apparently).
    My BB has been running at 25 Mb down and after he released the profile, now gone up to 36Mb. (May not hold at that!)
    Good guy, great work, well done BT.
    The Bad
    Under ADSL, the hub showed FEC and CRC errors. BT have chosen to remove this facility in HH3 and I can understand why as for the "average" user, too much knowledge is a dangerous thing. I'm sure customer service was being overwhelmed with calls of "is this right?"
    However, it is very frustrating when you know you have a line problem, but officially all you can report to BT is that the line speed has dropped by 10Mb.
    I know my line is capable of 30 - 36 Mb but when you phone the call centre (see below) you restart the hub and of course when you find it's still only 25 Mb because your IP profile has been capped by the DSLAM, you are then told that this is acceptable because anything above 20Mb is fine. It's not fine! (Rant)
    Of course I have other VDSL modems which are able to five me full stats on DSL errors and surprise, surprise, I'm getting 10 million FEC errors in 15 minutes.
    The Ugly
    Quite simply the call centres; actually, certain call centres.
    I phone up and report my poor download speed.
    25Mb is acceptable
    No it's not I've been running at 33Mb.
    OK restart the hub.
    No better
    OK I'll do some line tests....there is a fault on the line. (No shiz Sherlock)
    An engineer will sort it within 48 hours.
    Will he need access to the house?
    No - he will look at the cab and the line.
    Next day...
    Call from BT...Has your speed recovered.
    No
    Oh we'll need to send an engineer out
    Hmmmmm
    Engineer turned up as promised (back to top)
    In summary
    BT Engineers - great.
    BT Infinity itself - great.
    I understand the limitation of line length, copper, flooded access points, weather, Xtalk, so am not expecting a full 40Mb service. Just please don't fib to me that I should be ok with 20Mb on a faulty line.
    BT Customer support:
    Online support - great
    Forum mods - great
    Offshore - forget it

    Thanks for the comments.
    FEC error details showing on HH3 - understand that but you are probably aware that these can be (ahem) obtained from the HG612 if you were so inclined.
    I honestly wanted to say that the product offering and the technical support has been good from BT, probably because I got a decent result to be fair.
    In this particular case I got L2 support - never got to those heady hights before, and recieved a call after engineer had been asking if it had been resolved to my satisfaction etc. so tick in the box. Recieved another call this morning.
    You've probably nailed it by pointing out the VERY conservative etimates of speed for contractual purposes.
    Even the DSLAMs have got the "script" When you have a good connection and decent IP profile, the acceptable range is high, when your profile has dropped through the floor, acceptable speeds are low. Hope we can change the goalposts like this in the European Championships!

  • Sony M4 Aqua Review- The Good , The Bad and The Faulty

    The small capacity "cheap" android phones are best avoided, tbh. The flagship phones, even 3 year old ones, are much better buys that an up to date small capacity phone.
    I assume you have tried the app called "apps2sd" to see if any others can be moved away from the internal storage?

    I bought the M4 as a replacement for my iphone 4. Although I like Apple products I looked at the new iphones and they didnt seem that different than my old phone other than speed and screen size and I felt like trying some thing new.My wife swapped her iPhone for a Z3 Compact and it seemed good. Nice screen, good camera, very customisable and waterproof. All for less than an Apple, so I thought I'd give it a go.So, The Good - Good screen size and  feel to the phone. Easy set up and transfer of data using xperia exchange via my macbook. Even managed to sync Macbook calendars with phone via great Sunrise App from Playstore.The Bad, although the phone only has 8Gb of internal memory I though this with a microSD card 16 Gb would be enough as my iPhone only had 8Gb in total. I dont store a great deal of music and photos on the phone as I download regularly. I was wrong though as the Lollipop Android operating system used aapprox half the 8Gb and the onboard Sony software approx 2Gb I was left with between 1.5 and 2Gb for apps as some wont download to SD cards. So I wasn't able to use all the apps I had on the iPhone. Now, The Faulty - only hours after setting up the phone and all the apps I could, an app update notification came through. The only problem? There wasn't sufficient memory space to update. So I removed all the apps I had added and updated the mandatory apps - a ball ache but it worked, I then had to reload the apps, along with the Sony apps, which had now taken up more memory and left only 1-1.5 gb for apps. The SD card cover keeps popping open when in your pocket. The phone started to say there was no SIM card and no sevice.Three weeks into ownership and the phone has frozen while on charge, won't reboot and has had to go back to the factory for repair with consequent loss of data. Under 28 days and O2 insist on repair not replacement - poor service.Conclusion - Nice looking phone, Nice features, but the memory is insufficient for the operating system and software they have included on the phone. The compact Z3 would be better if you can live with a smaller screen. Will I stick with Sony for 2 Years like i did Apple?- the jury is out.

  • MAMP and the scary config files

    Hello,
    I downloaded amd installed MAMP, and it works great. I have a few questions, though.
    1) What should I type in the address bar of the browser of a different computer of a network? Obviously, if I'm on the the server directly, I type in http://localhost/. But if I'm on a different computer of the same network, what do I type in?
    2) In Apache, typing this:
    <VirtualHost *>
    ServerAlias http://localhost/ addressname.somedomain
    </VirtualHost>
    in the (don't know which) config file, will that change typing in a IP address to get my webpage, into a full-address with a domain to get my webpage? this is on a closed network (intranet), so shouldn't I be able to do that?
    3) What is a DNS server? Can't I make my own in our own closed-network?
    I know these are a lot of questions, so thank you if you answer one of them!
    - Craig

    What should I type in the address bar of the browser of a different computer of a network?
    The IP address (or hostname) for your computer.
    For example, if your machine's IP address is 192.168.1.2 then other users on the network would enter:
    http://192.168.1.2/
    If you have DNS working on your network you can substitute the local DNS name for your machine, but it doesn't sound like that's the case since you ask:
    What is a DNS server?
    A DNS server is a server that maps hostnames to IP addresses so that us poor humans (who remember names better than numbers) can remember things like 'www.apple.com' rather than '17.254.0.91'.
    When you enter a hostname in any app (such as your web browser), the browser queries your DNS server to perform a name lookup to find the IP address associated with that name.
    2) In Apache, typing this:
    <VirtualHost *>
    ServerAlias http://localhost/ addressname.somedomain
    </VirtualHost>
    Is not valid. The ServerAlias tells Apache what hostnames it should look for in a http request in order to serve this site. 'http:/localhost/ addressname.somedomain/' is not valid here.
    Additionally, if you're only serving one site, this is not needed at all. It is only needed when you run multiple different sites on one machine and Apache needs to know which site matches which virtual host.
    Additionally, this won't make one iota of difference to users on the network. This is only telling apache how to respond to the requests. It won't make any difference to whether or not remote users can find your machine in the first place.
    Can't I make my own in our own closed-network?
    Sure. If no one else is going to use it, you can create a DNS server for any domain you like.

  • MacBook Display - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

    Hello Everyone - I've decided to creat this post in order to voice some of my findings with regards to the MacBook and MacBook Pro Displays.
    Just recently I've compared my MacBook (black) display to a number of different brand name notebook displays. I've come to the following conclusin.
    Notebooks such as LG X-note, Samsung, Sony VAIO and HP Pavillion all have better displays in general. They are brighter, don't have uneven backlight distribution and considerably better viewing angles.
    The MacBook has a decent display - not an awfull one - It's relatively bright with decent backlight distribution - but viewing angles (mainly vertical) are not as good.
    I'm little dissapointed here, and will be looking for a better display from Apple when considering and upgrade 2 years down the road.
    MacBook Pro on the other hand has a very dissapoining screen indeed. I've compared my notebook to MacBook Pro and I can tell you that I would quickly return it and go for the MacBook. Of all the 15" notebooks I've seen, MacBook Pro has a serious problem with uneven brightness distribution (backlight), grainy looking images (mate display) and even worse viewing angles. I had to stand good 6 feet away from the unit to see it clearly. When about 2 feet away from the unit - u can't see the whole screen evenly, no matter how I tilted it (observed on all 3 models in the store - mate/glossy).
    I'm very happy I opted for the cheaper MacBook!!!
    Finally: I'm still very happy with my purchase of the black MB. I have to give 2 thumbs to Apple for designing the most beautifull 13" notebook. Very solid, looks and feels better than any other notebook out there.
    The list of pro's is very large for me - and even though the MB display could have been better - It's still good enough for what I need.
    I hope someone from Apple goes through these posts and takes some of our concerns into consideration. I've just switched from PC to Mac's and I don't want to go back. But I do feel that Display is probably the second most importat feature of any notebook, and hope that Apple will consider improving in this department.
    P.S. I would take better display over better Video Card any day.

    If I recall the first reviews correctly, the display on the Macbook was praised for brightness, sharpness, and outside viewability (ability to be used in bright sunlight). It was faulted for angle viewing, both laterally and vertically. In other words, one had to be dead-on for the viewing, as compared to other displays.
    I'd say mine is 100% with that review. It is amazingly crisp and sharp, great color. But, I can't stray from the viewing angle. I find myself constantly adjusting the lid angle, especially when a photograph is too contrasty or not contrasty enough.
    That's OK. I compensated and bent my body to fit the computer. ;>)

  • The good The Bad and the....

    Many people have many different issues with the phone. Some hate it, some love it and some just trash talk the phone cause either their jealous cause they can't get one for other reasons. But in all seriousness I'm no Apple fan-boy though my brother is and I have always been a fan of windows(only OS that plays games). But since I got my iPhone I think to my self how could I live without it. Since I got my phone I started working out and on the phone I can write down what all I did to improve. Also I can listen to Modest Mouse while running 3 miles in 90 degree weather. Plus if I get call from one of my friend I won't miss it cause I was running. Yes, there are some problems with the phone like: I wish I could use custom ring-tones and volume is a little low(which is why I'm bought the Apple Bluetooth headset). All my friends said I was crazy for buying the iPhone for $600. They were like who spends $600 on a phone. The I told them I'm not, I'm getting a iPod(needed a new one , also a camera, and also I will be able to get email and time any place, also be able to browse the Internet anywhere.

    Yeah, does design the coolest devices out there.
    Hopefully some issues will be addressed, unlocked or added with future software updates.
    Glad you like that phone. So do i. It's like my "mini" laptop that fits in my pocket

    Performance: Can't tell that much of a difference.

    Not sure if this is the best place to post this questions but here goes. I have had enough complaints with the bugs with Leopard but I am very glad to see they included Photobooth and Frontrow for computers without a built in camera (on my G5 I have an isight) but now my question is:
    Is there a remote (bluetooth maybe) that you can use for frontrow? Would like to utilize this feature but don't have a remote.

    It's not bluetooth but perhaps this RF remote would work for you. Just need a USB port

  • Please ensure that the applicationhost.config file is correct and recommit the last configuration changes made

    I am receiving event ID 5189 on Server 2008 R2, IIS 7.5.  I experience this error across a number of servers, each of which is running only the default web site, but have 600+ applications running on the default web site.  Each application
    has its own application pool.  My point is, the applicationhost.config is rather large.
    I have seen a number of posts on this error message, but my issue itself seems to differ somewhat.  I am aware of a similar post: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/3128ee93-1319-4cc2-9257-003512caf476/event-id-5189-microsoftwindowswas?forum=exchangesvrgeneral
    which points to KB http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc734988%28v=ws.10%29.aspx
    However, in my case, it doesn't seem that the extreme measures for this resolution are required.  The error usually indicates a corrupted applicationhost.config that must be manually fixed, or otherwise the WAS service needs to be restarted, or the
    server itself, etc.
    In my case, the issue can usually be fixed by an application pool recycle, or at worst a stop/start.  I have an application which is sensitive to recycles, and so we do not have periodic recycle events configured for this application, which is the bulk
    of the applications on the servers.  It seems to me that this issue is usually caused by the application being in use when there is an applicationhost.config change.
    For instance, we have one application that we deploy using msdeploy.  We found that when we ran an installation for this application via msdeploy, we were receiving this event, and we would subsequently get 500 errors in the application (sometimes the
    application pool corresponds to that which is identified in the event log, sometimes it doesn't).    It seems like applications that were being hit at the time the applicationhost.config was modified by msdeploy were affected.  In an attempt
    to correct this, we moved from msdeploy to a batch file containing appcmd commands.  This also did not resolve the issue.
    I have another application which is installed using PowerShell commandlets.  We started to notice that this script also caused the issue to occur on occasion.  As I continued to identify different processes that resulted in the same issue, I came
    to the conclusion that this is likely due to any change in the applicationhost.config.  I assume the issue is that the applicationhost.config is modified during a read operation to the file by the application pool, or WAS service, and that the recycle
    event, which corrects the issue, forces a re-read of the applicationhost.config, resolving the bad-read issue.
    Has anyone else experienced this, or do you have any recommendations?  My current work-around is to not install any applications during peak hours, and performing an IISRESET after installs are completed, to ensure application stability.

    As an update to this issue, after doing some research, it appears the behavior is related to a new feature in IIS7 called Application Pool Isolation (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd163536.aspx).
    This new feature prevents cross-application spillage by isolating the configuration for each application pool in IIS.  So in reality, an application pool never actually reads the applicationhost.config - that is just a master file, and each time it
    is update, it triggers a change to the individual application pool configuration files, located in C:\inetpub\temp\apppools.
    We did try setting Advanced Settings > Disable Recycling for Configuration Change to true, but after an IIS reset we were still able to reproduce the issue - worse actually, because in our test program, which continually hits the web
    service, and also continually makes apphost.config changes, when the two events collide, the 500.19 issue precipitates; but after an additional change to the apphost.config, it seems that the additional changes will actually correct the issue (seemingly forcing
    another recycle, which is also how we resolve the issue manually); after making this setting adjustment, once the 500.19 issue precipitates, additional changes to the apphost.config does not correct the problem, only a manual recycle corrects it.  This
    is the recycling.disallowRotationOnConfigChange property of the app pool.  We also set the setting for recycling.disallowOverlappingRotation to True as well, with the same result.
    We ARE able to prevent this issue by setting the C:\inetpub\temp\apppools\myapppool\myapppool.config to read-only, but for obvious reasons, this is not a desired work-around.
    It seems like what is happening is that any change to the ApplicationHost.config is resulting in each of the C:\inetpub\temp\apppools temp application pool config files being updated as well, in addition to triggering an application pool recycle.  It
    seems to me the desired behavior would be that these files are only updated if the applicationhost.config changes are specific to that application pool - but that doesn't seem to be the behavior.
    After turning on failed request tracing, I was able to narrow the error down more:
    ModuleName

    This seems to be pretty static.  Trying to look into possible causes of this issue.

  • The transaction-config and the  Phantom XML File

    I'm upgrading from 10.1.2 to 10.1.3, and there are some configuration changes that I can't find documentation for. My configuration is semi-complex, so I started by just using our current configuration files, and moved on from there.
    I get the following error on startup.
    06/04/26 11:10:32 Error initializing server: Unknown deployment tag in /u01/home/weblogic/lrs/server/application-deployments/orion-application.xml: <transaction-config>
    06/04/26 11:10:32 Fatal error: server exiting
    OK. That seems pretty easy on the surface. I need to pull the <transaction-config> element out of that file, right?
    So here's my problem.
    $ ls -l /u01/home/weblogic/lrs/server/application-deployments/orion-application.xml
    ls: /u01/home/weblogic/lrs/server/application-deployments/orion-application.xml: No such file or directory
    How is OC4J able to determine I have a bad configuration element in a file that doesn't exist? Where is this coming from?
    Clues for the clueless?
    Thanks!
    -Jerome

    Avi:
    What I see in the factory-default j2ee/config/j2ee-logging.xml of my oc4j 10.1.3 standalone is the following. If you take a look at it, you would believe what I suggested above is enough.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>

          <property name='encoding' value='UTF-8'/>

        <!-- Default Logger, useParentHandlers should be set to false because
             the root Logger (named the empty string "") will log to console -->

            <handler name='oc4j-handler'/>
            <handler name='console-handler'/>

      </loggers>
    </logging_configuration>.
    Actually, 'NOTIFICATION:32' also means 'FINEST' in the case of non-odl logging, which is called text logging in the related oracle documention.
