  • Error consuming Web service - content type text/xml;charset=utf-8 of the response message does not match the content type of the binding

    Hi all,
    We are trying to interact with Documentum server through DFS exposed WCF which communicates through port 9443 and we are provided with documentum issued Public Key certificates. We have successfully imported the certificates in client machine and configured
    the bindings as below in our .Net web application config file.
    <system.serviceModel>
    <bindings>
    <wsHttpBinding>
    <binding
    name="ObjectServicePortBinding1">
    <security
    mode="Transport">
    <transport
    clientCredentialType="None"
    proxyCredentialType="None"
    realm=""
    />
    <message
    clientCredentialType="Certificate"
    algorithmSuite="Default"
    />
    </security>
    </binding>
    <binding
    name="QueryServicePortBinding">
    <security
    mode="Transport">
    <transport
    clientCredentialType="None"
    proxyCredentialType="None"
    realm=""
    />
    <message
    clientCredentialType="Certificate"
    algorithmSuite="Default"
    />
    </security>
    </binding>
    </wsHttpBinding>
    </bindings>
    Also, we set the message encoding as MTOM and the wcf client object initialization code snippet is as below,
    ObjectServicePortClient
    serviceClient = new
    ObjectServicePortClient(new
    WSHttpBinding("ObjectServicePortBinding1"),
    new
    EndpointAddress(UriUtil.ObjectServiceUri));
    if (serviceClient.Endpoint.Binding
    is
    WSHttpBinding)
       WSHttpBinding
    wsBinding = serviceClient.Endpoint.Binding as
    WSHttpBinding;
    wsBinding.MessageEncoding =
    "MTOM".Equals(transferMode) ?
    WSMessageEncoding.Mtom :
    WSMessageEncoding.Text;
    serviceClient.Endpoint.Behaviors.Add(new
    ServiceContextBehavior(Config.RepositoryName,
    Config.DocumentumUserName,
    Config.DocumentumPassword));
    When we execute the above code, we are getting error message as below,
    Exception: The content type text/xml;charset=utf-8 of the response message does not match the content type of the binding (multipart/related; type="application/xop+xml"). If using a custom encoder, be sure that the IsContentTypeSupported
    method is implemented properly. The first 407 bytes of the response were: '<?xml version="1.0" ?><S:Envelope xmlns:S="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><S:Body><S:Fault xmlns:ns4="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"><faultcode>S:VersionMismatch</faultcode><faultstring>Couldn't
    create SOAP message. Expecting Envelope in namespace http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/, but got http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope </faultstring></S:Fault></S:Body></S:Envelope>'
    Then, we changed the bindings as below
    <system.serviceModel>
    <bindings>
    <wsHttpBinding>
    <binding
    name="ObjectServicePortBinding1">
    <security
    mode="Transport">
    <transport
    clientCredentialType="Certificate"
    proxyCredentialType="None"
    realm=""
    />
    <message
    clientCredentialType="Certificate"
    algorithmSuite="Default"
    />
    </security>
    </binding>
    <binding
    name="QueryServicePortBinding">
    <security
    mode="Transport">
    <transport
    clientCredentialType="
    Certificate"
    proxyCredentialType="None"
    realm=""
    />
    <message
    clientCredentialType="Certificate"
    algorithmSuite="Default"
    />
    </security>
    </binding>
    </wsHttpBinding>
    </bindings>
    We are getting another error message,
    Exception: The client certificate is not provided. Specify a client certificate in ClientCredentials.
    Any pointers on resolving this issue would be highly helpful.
    Thanks

    Hi Dhanasegaran,
      As per your case, the corresponding details which may guide you to resolve this issue:
    1. First of all, you can try to call the wcf service directly from the browser & check where it will point out the correct location.
    2. In config file ,Set IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults to true to enable exception information to flow to clients for debugging purposes .
    Set this to true only during development to troubleshoot a service like below :
    <serviceBehaviors>
      <behavior name="metadataAndDebugEnabled">
        <serviceDebug
          includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true"
    />
        <serviceMetadata
          httpGetEnabled="true"
          httpGetUrl=""
    />
      </behavior>
    </serviceBehaviors>
    3. I suggest you to change that <security mode ="TransportWithMessageCredential"> instead of <security mode ="Transport">

    I have a WCF service I am trying to run on a new installation of 64-bit Windows Server 2008 IIS. Although it runs fine on Windows 2003 IIS, it is throwing the error in the thread title, which appears to be a server config issue, but I am not sure. Googling and searching the MSDN forums did not turn up a solution. I tried running WCF Logging, but that didn't help either.
    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this probelm?
    Here is the error:

    Sorry about that. I am not exactly sure where the problem is, but I know it takes place after I put the <nav> in (in the html portion). If I understand what I am learning, the CSS at the top will structure my html code so I would have thought the CSS tageting my nav would be the focus. Maybe it is a different section though.

    Adding a Flex Builder Flash-Integration and Utilities project to make these files easier for people to work on. Flash-Integration is really an intermediate swc that Utilities uses. I've also modified the existing Flex Builder project for flex4tests to build against this new utilities project directly.
    Also change the way FlashIntegration is built--we no longer have a manifest file and just include-classes FlashIntegrationClasses.as.

  • Problem in creating a build.xml for weblogic portal application

    Team ,
    I am facing problem in creating the build.xml using weblogic.BuildXMLGEN tool .
    a) Below is the structure of my portal application
    SrcCode
    --- .metadata (eclipse plugins folder)
    --- B2BApp ( Ear Content)
    --- b2bPortal ( portal related file(controllers,jsp)
    --- b2bsrc     (java src)
    b) Now I executed below utility to generate the build.xml "
    java weblogic.BuildXMLGen -projectName B2BApp -username weblogic -file build.xml -password welcome1 F:\srcCode"
    c) Based on the above step , build.xml got generated .
    d) when I execute "ant compile" target from the command prompt , I see the below exception
    ant compile
    Buildfile: build.xml
    compile:

    e) I suspect , the problem is bcoz of classpath issues , as I generated build.xml donot have the references to dependent lib's.As build.xml looks like below :
    +<target name="compile" description="Only compiles B2BApp application, no appc">+

    a) this is a upgrade project [ upgrading from wlp 8.1.4 to 10.3.2 ]
    i.e we are using weblogic portal 10.3.2 version.
    b) Searched some sites/forums regarding the above error, and it says something related to "jwsc" ant task [ i.e while compiling a webservice(JWS) ], but we see this error while compiling a normal controller(jpf) class :(
    c) we are using "ant compile" target which internally calls wlcompile task , while executing wlcompile this error is thrown .

                            <pathelement path="${buildir}" />
                    </classpath>
                    </java>right now i can
    java junit.textui.TestRunner organization.testSuite
    or to run a specific test
    java junit.textui.TestRunner organization.oldTest
    i added the above lines to my build.xml, added the .java file for the anotherTest class to the ${testdir} where oldTest and testSuite and other junit related classes live within the package directory structure, then ran 'ant' to make a new .jar file.
    now when i switch in the new .jar file, i get errors whenever i try to
    java junit.textui.TestRunner organization.oldTest
    i get 'no class oldTest' found
    can anyone point me in the right direction?

    My Ant build.xml doesn't look like yours. I usually do it like this, and it works fine:
        <target name="test" depends="compile" description="run all unit tests">
            <junit>
                <jvmarg value="-Xms32m" />
                <jvmarg value="-Xmx64m" />
                <classpath>
                    <path refid="project.class.path" />
                </classpath>
                <formatter type="xml" />
                <batchtest fork="yes" todir="${reports}">
                    <fileset dir="${output.classes}">
                        <include name="**/*TestCase.class" />
                    </fileset>
                    <fileset dir="${output.classes}">
                        <include name="**/*TestSuite.class" />
                    </fileset>
                </batchtest>
            </junit>
        </target>
        <target name="report" depends="test" description="create HTML report for JUnit test results">
            <junitreport todir="${reports}">
                <fileset dir="${reports}">
                    <include name="TEST-*.xml"/>
                </fileset>
                <report format="frames" todir="${reports}"/>
            </junitreport>
        </target>I don't understand why you're running individual tests like that. why not run them all?

    Adding the resource bundle and fat-swc targets for osmf and textlayout.  Also for osmf adding the doc target.  This new format that I added to the two project build files will be what we will use going forward for all projects.  I have all the other projects modified and plan on checking them in soon.  The format change will make adding new locales easier as well as adding the fat-swc target when needed.

  • Do we need to have build.xml for a project created in Eclipse WTP

    Hi^^,
    I had created a project in struts some time back. I remember that the classes wern't compiling until we added the build.xml to the project in the WEB-INF folder.
    Now I have cretaed a "dynamic web project" in eclipse WTP. When I right click on the project I get the option of build project. When I select the option the java classes do get compiled. My question is how does that happen without the build.xml being included in the project folder. There is a build folder but it only has the classes folder when we get the .class files after compiling.
    thanks and Regards,

    hi^^,
    I will rephrase the question. How does Eclipse build the project so that all the java files are converted to class files without using build.xml.

    I would be glad for the opportunity to customize a Premiere Elements 12 answer to your Premiere Elements 12 issue.
    But, I want to make sure that we are together on the details. This is my understanding of what you have written. Please review and let me
    know if I am misinterpreting anything that you have written.
    You have a video created in Windows Movie Maker.
    How did you output the video from Windows Movie Maker...wmv or mp4, what was the frame size and frame rate of that export?
    Next you import that video into Premiere Elements 12 (can we assume that this is on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit?)
    From what you wrote, you have applied a pan and zoom effect to your video in Premiere Elements.
    Now you go to export the Premiere Elements 12 Timeline content with your video with the pan and zoom applied.
    But, the pan and zoom effect is not seen in playback of the export.
    Is all of the above correct so far?
    If so....we are going to need some more details from you...
    a. What is the project preset that you or the project are setting to match the properties of the video coming from Movie maker? See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Rate, and Pixel Aspect Ratio even if the fields look grayed out.
    b. Are you applying the pan and zoom effect with the Pan and Zoom Tool, fx Effects Presets, or keyframing the Scale (for Zoom) and
    Position (for Pan) in the Motion Panel expanded?
    c. What are you selecting as your export in Publish+Share/. Please give details...are you using default settings or customizing the export
    setting under the Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab of the preset selected?
    I am suspecting some sort of mismatch of your project settings or some problems with working with the Pan and Zoom tool. I need
    your answers to help me help you. If I have written anything that you do not understand, please let me know. I will re-write if necessary
    so that we are in sync to resolve the issue.
    Thanks.
