Hi everyone,
I am having problems with Office programs not saving on a network drive. It is displaying this error: <network path> could not be found. Check your spelling or try a different path.
This happens on subfolders only, so if I try saving a file to the root folder, it works. But as soon as I want to save it to a subfolder this happens.
In this sub folder I can find .TMP file and an empty, 0kb Word/Exel file with that name. If I do the save process again, it only asks me to replace the file and save is done no problem. Shared folder is on SBS 2011 and client computers are running Windows
7. It happens to any version of Office (2007, 2010 and 2013).
Can you help me out guys?

We are facing the same exact problem but let me give more details to our issue that we are facing. Few users of ours use to access a shared drive (mapped on their computers) and open any file without any problem. Now, when they
try to open a file they are getting the error message "u:\shared\file.ext cannot be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path". After doing some investigation it seems that this error is really saying that someone has the file open. Users
got this error message only if the file is opened by another user. They will be able to open it as soon as the other user closes it. It's suppose to give a notification of "read only" rather than giving this error message "file name" cannot
be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path".
If we manually browse to the path and open the file which is already opened by another user we get the error message we expect to see "read only" message. It's just that when we go from a mapped path the error is "u:\shared\file.ext
cannot be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path" which is not a true error. This is related to office we have already tested that out but have not been able to fix. Please advise.

Checking the status of task records tied to the custom object 3

We are using custom object 3
There has been lot of configuration work done on this object.
There is a checkbox on the UI. When a user will checks off the check box, a task record(s) is created depending on the condition.
Is there a way for me to check the status on the task records and then set a field on the parent record i.e. custom object 3.

Unable to print AP Check with MICR on AIX. The PDF output displays the MICR

I have peculiar situation here and I would really appreciate any help I can get.
The issue:
The requirement here is to print an AP Check with the MICR. Using XML I have defined a template and when I preview the output in PDF, the MICR string displays fine. The same template also works fine from within Oracle Applications.
However, when I specify a printer and set the number of copies to 1, nothing is printed.
The issue that our DBA noticed was that the PDF to PS converter is dropping the MICR string and as a result nothing is getting printed. The client uses GhostScript for PDF2PS conversion and they have not been able to resolve this issue.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? If so, what can be done to resolve this issue.

I think that means tool is either not installed or not in path:-
"The Xpdf language support packages include CMap files, text encodings, and various other configuration information necessary or useful for specific character sets. (They do not include any fonts.) Any or all of these can be installed by simply unpacking the tar file and adding a few lines to your xpdfrc configuration file (see the README file inside each package for details).
have you seen what needs to be changed in xpdfrc configuration file?

The icon for NoScript 2.1.1.2 has disappeared and although "Enable JavaScript" is checked in Tools Options Content some sites will not display but give me a message that JavaScripts are not enabled.

How to find the check box selected while using Class in ALV grid display

I am displaying the ALV report using Class
For Example: CALL METHOD MYGRID->SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY EXPORTING I_STRUCTURE_NAME = 'ACC1'
                                                         IS_VARIANT = GS_VARIANT
                                                         I_SAVE = 'A' "XSAVE
                                                         IS_LAYOUT = LOUT
                                                 CHANGING IT_FIELDCATALOG = IT_FIELD
                                                           IT_OUTTAB = ACC_NO[].
In output i am getting 10 customer with check box, how do i find that customer number is selected.

Once user selects a check box, he would CLICK on a button ( say PROCESS )inorder to do the processing for the selected records. So in the PAI, under the EVENT ( OK CODE ) of the Button ( say PROCESS ), write the following code.
CALL METHOD MYGRID->check_changed_data.
Now,
Loop at acc_no where check = `X`.
Do the processing.

NWDI- check in tab is disabled and no SC is displayed to check in

Hi,
I have run NWDI schenario and configured everything..SLD, DTR, CBS, namepace...then I have also created product and software component and defined dependencies.....
Now I have created new Track for my sfotware component ...but when I tried to check in the SCs, i found that check-in tab is grayed out and disabled.
no SC is shown there to check in.
Could some one please help me in resolving my issue.

CMS directory is created and is accessible to everyone..!
Also check-in is disabled in the DEMO track which is created during the template run.
Is there anything else i'm missing in my Configuration..!
