Hi, those technologies are so cool but I failed to run the sample:
- I am using Maven 3.0.2.
Runnung mvn build from the latest source code from trunk "....cairngorm3\samples\todo>mvn install". I got the error relating to "unable to transacoding"
D:\Java\workspaces\misc\cairngorm3\samples\todo\todo_flex\todo_flex_shell\src\ma
in\flex\com\adobe\txi\todo\shell\skins\ApplicationHeaderSkin.mxml: Error: unable
to resolve '/assets/todoLogo_big.png' for transcoding
D:\Java\workspaces\misc\cairngorm3\samples\todo\todo_flex\todo_flex_shell\src\ma
in\flex\com\adobe\txi\todo\shell\skins\ApplicationHeaderSkin.mxml: Error: Unable
to transcode /assets/todoLogo_big.png.
I shift the assets folder to src/main/flex. It got compiled then I can deploy succesfully into Tomcat 6. But I still get empty screen.
Do I have to do something else like "run db script", "create DB schema" ?
Note: my adt.jar is from flex_sdk_4.5.0.17855

Fixing build: unit tests expect the seek to complete over a timer. Adding this behavior on signaling the seek completion event from the newly added path.

In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

I am embarrassed to say that your solution answered my question.
I was about 10 min away from rewriting my Ant script to just use the mxmlc.exe directly instead of the mxmlc ant tag. I kept running into the -flex-config+=YourConfig.xml for the command line option but never saw the xml variant.

Wow that was a very quick response. Thanks camickr. I am only trying to delete a single row. I do not know how to go about posting a test program for the code I have posted above because honestly the gui itself is 800 lines of code, and then the file reading class is quite funky in itself. I can maybe email you the entire Netbeans project including code so if you are using Netbeans 5 RC2 you can run the code and see for yourself, but that would not be considerate of me.
See I am trying to delete any row at any time...but only one at a time not multiple rows...so if a user decides to delete row 23 and then tries to delete the last row which happens to be row 33 in my case, my setup should be smart enough to still allow to delete the row.

Had some trouble to get the PDF print working, too. Printing works fine for standard reports, but for interactive report I am not able to get it working. Sometimes I am getting only blank pages (and no file) and sometimes I am getting PDF's which just contain an internal 500 error. Some details are in this thread: Print Interactive Reports does not work
Maybe that's related to the error of kkkannan74.

Well, I've checked your code and I've seen where is the error.
In Delface constructor (Delface.java, line 127), you've got this block of code :
1. OkBtn = new JButton("OK");
2. OkBtn.addActionListener(this);
3. bagcon.gridx = 1;
4. bagcon.gridy = 8;
5. gb.setConstraints(OkBtn,bagcon);
6. dcon.add(OkBtn);
7. OkBtn.addActionListener(this);
Have a deep look at lines 2 and 7 : you're registering twice an actionListener on this button. Then you're receiving twice the event and it shows two JOptionPanes. In fact, you've also the problem with the 'ok' option, but you don't see it, because the 'n' variable in your event handler is global to your class, then it's shared between the two calls to the event handlers.

* solution: created global.playerglobal.version (which is 10) and in files that need to "override" it, I declare local.playerglobal.version locally.

it's a beta. it stunk. but they put it out for review which helps Adobe and others. But never treat those products as stuff to base your serious work around. Flex3 is stable. FB4 is 90% reliable. Things are still broken in it.
btw if it was a leading university why in the world would they base it around a Beta that was buggy or was that your decision ?
