SWF plays in IE & Firefox preview but won't play when published -- please help
Hello, so after trying severally to finally get my flash video to work, i'm stumped with another problem! When i preview it in IE and firefox,it works perfectly with all the lnks working as well. But once i upload to my ftp, there's a white blank space where the video is supposed to be. Please let me know what i'm doing wrong. I'm using Flash CS3 and Dreamweaver CS3. I've uploaded all files (the html page, fla. and swf.) to the ftp but still, it doesn't work. The src file is linked to a file in my root folder. I'm very new to this so any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Below is the code as it shows in my dreamweaver. thanks!

Have you also uploaded the AC_FL_RunContent.js file to the server per whatever the location of it is specified as in the html code?

One of two things happened you didn't add the security license in your license directory or it didn't find you certificate.
You can check to see which options and license you have enabled. Your looking for ase_asm:

When I click on an active link from another application, it opens the firefox application, but won't open open the page - it just opens Firefox or takes me to Firefox. No new tab or window is opened and the link is not displayed.
Firefox sent an email to me to confirm that I had asked the above question. The email had a link to click. When I clicked it from Firefox, nothing happened. Then I opened IE, signed into Comcast, opened the email, clicked the link, and it brought me here.

How do I add a playlist to iTunes Match so that it'll appear on my Apple TV? It was appeared on it before but ever since I added some CDs to the playlist, it won't show anymore. Please help.
When new content is added to a playlist it has to be updated for it to be available across devices. If it's content that isn't matched the playlist is removed from the cloud. Did you make sure to access store - update iTunes Match? It should do it automatically after a few minutes but the odd time I have to force it.
Other than that may want to try reboot, log out/in. -

Please can anyone help? I am opening a saved file which I can see in the template, but when I open it the page is blank. When I go to print I can see it there but I can't edit or anything!!!

I could see the contents of Pages & Numbers files is previews, but they were blank when opened. Apple tech support--in an hour long call--managed to find a fix for my issue. I hope it works for you.
Concurrently to the seemingly blank files, my computer happened to be slowing down & stalling a lot, but while related to the problem, I don't know that this is a necessary symptom of anyone else's.
We deleted all the cache files in the ~/Libary/Caches folder, & emptied the trash. It said some files were in use, so we restarted and finished the trash disposal. Then we started up Pages & Numbers, and it was all good! My computer went back to its normal snappy responses too.
I am sure someone could possibly narrow down which cache files might be causing an issue. But give this a try.
By the way, I am running Pages 9, on Mountain Lion 10.8.4 (recently updated) on a MacBook Pro. Disk Utility found preferences and disk verify normally. Activity Monitor showed no excessive CPU use and there was no shortage of hard drive space. The problem was reproducable in safe mode. Deleting plists for iWork had no positive result. As for the slowdown, sometimes the computer would get stuck in spinning beach ball mode for a while, or freeze. The only think that worked was the cache purge.

After the restore did the phone work properly for a while? Say, a day or so?
If so it is possible you have an app that doesn't let go of memory properly. I reboot my iPhone ( hold sleep/wake and hole till you see the apple logo) every few days. This resets the memory. The iPhone OS has doesn't seem to mange memory very well yet. So a reboot will help with that. I have had my phone almost slow to a stop before I started rebooting. Always reboot after installing a new app. Also do you close all pages in Safari when you are done? This is a good practice. Safari will run in the background and use processor time and drain your battery quicker. Create a new blank page then close all others when you are done browsing for a while. I have also found that certain web site that have animated images like weather maps will turn the phone into molasses. As soon as i close that page it gets faster.
If all of the above have no effect then as Tamara said it is time for a trip to the Genius bar.

Have you checked your Control Panel to make sure you don't have the flashlight turned on?
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and make sure the flashlight icon (bottom left-hand corner) is not white. If it is, tap on it to turn it off.

Seems to be an Apple or FB app problem. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be fixed.

i downloaded lion but lost the setup assistant. please help me recover the setup assistant. i do not know where/how to find/enter information in the terminal as was suggested.
Launch the Terminal application; e.g., by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. Copy or drag -- do not type -- the line below into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. Confirm.
Reboot. The Setup Assistant will launch. -
I tried to find the reset security questions button on manage apple id but couldn't find it. Please help me reset my security questions?
The reset link, as described in steps 1 to 5 on this page, will only show if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If you don't have one then go to (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

All buttons in Firefox have dissappeared after a PC optimization software- please help!
I am using Windows 7 on a Toshiba laptop.
I used AVG's PC clean-up as a trial (no longer have access to it).
During the process, I chose to turn off blinking and revolving content on Firefox (thinking I was turning off those annoying ads).
Now, all of my 'buttons' are just blank boxes. I use gmail: the star option on the inbox has disappeared. The 'send', 'spam', 'trash', etc above the email- those are just blank boxes (they still do work though- I just have to move over them to get the explanation to see what they are). This is not the case with the 'star' however.
I have been all over settings, and have tried the JAVA advanced.
I think this must be something set outside of Firefox. Internet Explorer runs fully functional.
Please help. I really do not want to have to re-install Firefox as I don't want to lose all of my saved passwords and bookmarks.Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
