Swf won't show in Chrome
Howdy,
I've published html+swf from flash cs5 and it won't show in Chrome. all is looking well in Firefox & IE though...

Seemed to work just fine when I tested the code (with my .swf). Tested in Chrome, FF, IE, Safari.
Does your Chrome have the Flash plugin?
But a couple of things..
quotes missing here:
margin= 0, auto;>
Seems like you are trying to scale to exact fit?
#flashContent { width:100%; height:100%; }
<param name="scale" value="exactfit" />
Won't work with pixel dimensions for the .swf:
width="850" height="567"
and <center> tag... set W/H params to 100% and remove <center> if you want to scale to exact fit 100% W and H

Movie Clip in swf won't show animation in adobe premiere pro cs4
Hi, I am new to this forum and as well as a beginner user of adobe premiere pro cs4. I am recently making a animation using Adobe Flash CS5, I've been using movie clips symbol to create all the movement of the character, background and stuff. Unfortunately, swf movies exported from Adobe Flash CS5 do not show any animation at all in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. I have to use movie clips symbol instead of graphic symbol because filters can be added to a movie clip symbol but not graphic symbol. Is there any way to help making the movie clip symbol to be shown in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4? Your help is much appreciated.
Check Flash help in the "video" section, specifically "moving content between" PR and FL. (I was looking at CS4, but it must be there in CS5 help as well.)
Your movie is to be watched on a TV? I would do this in After Effects. because you'll lose most of the flash functionality once you go to video anyway, -
11.5 Debug player won't show in Chrome plugins
I have been using the approved method of enabling the debug player in Chrome and this has been working fine for a long time. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-google-chrome.html
However, I can't get Chrome to recognize the 11.5 debug player. I think it has something to do with it installing a 64-bit DLL on Windows 7 64-bit. What should I do to debug in Chrome?

IE Cashing the SWF, won't show updated SWF
I have a SWF movie that I am viewing in IE. I uploaded an
updated version, but it is still puling the old SWF. I cleared the
files, history, and cookies in IE. Close IE and then reopened it,
but it still displays the old SWF.
Any one know why. Iknow big surprise, I do not have this
issue in Firefox.What version of IE?

I tried to search for htis, but didn't find any solutions. I
made a new page with a SWF in it, but it doesn't showup in IE7 when
I view it. I have other pages that work, but just not this one.

SVG saved in Illustrator won't show up on Chrome and is blowing up on Safari
Hello. First time here, so bear with me in case I'm doing something wrong.
So, I have to create almost 500 maps for this wine store website. They want the maps to be SVG files, because their website is responsive, so SVG would be the format that goes along with every platform without losing quality.
I was saving all the directly from Illustrator, but when I opened up those SVGs, the objects were completely out of the artboard. So I exported all the artboards in EPS format and used a batch action script to open each one and save as SVG.
That seemed to work. But when I took the files for them to upload in their website using Magento, the images weren't showing in Chrome and were blown up in Safari, completely oversized in relation to the original artboard size. This all happened in iOS, if it's of any importance.
Now, I don't understand nothing about coding or anything, so I was wondering if there's something I could do in Illustrator to prevent this from happening.

.swf won't play - blank screen
Hello,
I had my flash designer take a 16MB .mpg file and convert it
to a 2MB .swf
file.
I created a "blank" .hmtl page and dropped in the .swf -
which shows up as
the white box on this page:

(this link will forward you to the page.)
After I got a blank screen, I uploaded the .flv (2MB) and the
.fla (14MB)
files to the server as well (same folder as the .html file)
but that didn't
help - same blank screen.
Can anyone help me understand why this .swf won't play?

Spry Menu Bar Submenu won't show in Safari or Dreamweaver LiveView
I am trying to get my submenu to show up on my website's spry menu bar. It will show up when I test the site using firefox or IE but it won't show when I try LiveView in Dreamweaver or when I test using Safari. The site is www.fuseut.com/fuse

Images on Tumblr and embeded videos won't show up
The image/gif problem is only on Tumblr (as far as I saw), but it's as if the images weren't even there. (the way I see it, it only happens when I'm browsing through someone's tumblr, but when I enter a tag every picture showes, and on my dashboard as well). when I press reload, it reloads the entire site without the pictures. I tried a link on internet explorer and google chrome: it showed the pictures on IE, but not on GC. At first I thought it was because I didn't update firefox, but it showed up even after I updated everything (including adds-on). I also cleared my cookies and cache, and tried other things but nothing worked.
Embedded videos won't show up anywhere.If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions" or all domains via the about:permissions page
*check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.image pref should be 1.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

Mission control won't show windows properly.
Mission control (expose) won't show windows properly. It's really annoying when I'm working and need to see what I've got opened or switch between apps. Sometimes it'll display them correctly, other times it won't. See the 2 screenshots open 3 windows:

only icons of chrome and finder are shown, but no windows. No messages not even the icon.
I'd really love all the help you can provide.My problem started when the update to 10.7.5 ran. Mission Control in the Dock continued to work as before the update.
In System Settings>Mouse, the side buttons on my Might Mouse had been changed to 'Expose - App Windows.' I had to change the setting back to Mission Control.
Perhaps MtnLion suffered a similar glitch. -
Still having issues with animate composition showing in chrome
I created a wonderful childrens activity page using animate. For some reason everything shows up in the local preview, but once put onto a live host for public consumption, the animate portion of the paqe does not show up in Chrome. It takes a few seconds in Firefox, IE, and Safari due to 4 Audio files but the composition is displayed once they are done loading. It won't show period in Chrome.
When I first starting having the issue I noticed two 404 errors related to min.map files for jquery and edge. I had a friend tell me that it had something to do with Chrome's unwillingness to work with local jquery hosted libraries. I changed the publish settings so that the runtime files would refer to CDNs. Even with this I'm still having issues.
the 404 still exists for the edge file, but the jquery file is returning a 304 error now. What is the deal with this and why isn't my work being displayed in Chrome? Is this a bug? Or is there some kind of workaround for Chrome's inconcsistancy with this? I really need this page viewable yesterday, so any and all assistance with this will be supererbly appreciated.

I don't know hoIw to fix this problem, anyone. I have tried to add device, but like I said it is already on the devices but won't show up in the computers so I can put music on it syncs on the itunes site it also says my ipod on the itunes site but no itunes logo shows up any help is appreciated thanks

I bought an iPhone 5s today and after it was fully activated and working, tried to hook it up to my computer. It said my itunes had to update, however it wouldn't update so I uninstalled itunes and downloaded it off of apple's site. This time it downloaded and when I checked itunes for updates, it said it was at 11.1.5 and current. However, when I plug my phone in, it won't show up in itunes. It registers on the computer and the phone asks me if I want to trust this computer, to which I answer yes.
I've tried checking the apple mobile support and stopping and starting it again along with anything else to do with the mobile. I've tried reinstalling, restarting and pretty much everything I can think of.
My computer is a fully updated, windows 8.1 HPError -50 is generally associated with firewalls or anti-virus software as described here:

Separately, are you using iTunes 11.1.4? -
My iPhone 5S won't show up in iTunes to sync. It charges still and it opens iPhoto, but doesn't even register in iTunes. I have no idea what to do and nothing is working!
And the other night while i was trying to sync my phone, it was working until "Error message (-50)" started coming up every time i tried to sync or update my phone's software through itunes on my computer. eventually, itunes quit and i unplugged my phone and updated it wirelessly. i have no idea why any of this is happenings. TS1538 My iphone 5s won't show up on my itunes
My phone does show up on windows when I plug it inbut not in iTunes. I've tried everything that it says to do under support as well as uninstalling itunes and reinstalling it but it still won't show up. Is anyone having the same issue? I'm using the latest version of itunes and iOS and am running windows 8.
