SWFVISU entry for Travel workflow

Hi Experts,
I have copied the standard travel request workflow & customized it. For approval I have user decision step & all the tasks used in my workflow are custom ones. There are no std tasks. Currently when I open the workitem from UWL i see that R3 screen is opened. I understand that SWFVISU entry for my task is missing. Can you please tell me what are the details that I have to give for my task.

The Custom Dialog Task No. you have to assign.
1) Go to std. Workflow note all the Std. Task Maintain in SWFVISU, Note all the Parameters
2) Similarly for the Respective Custom Task, Assign the Same for your Custom Workflow.

New Screen Flow entry for Approval Workflow

Hi,
Can anyone please help me with this? I have a requirement where I need to provide a link on a JSPDynpage to the default approval workflow screen for any KM folder. We already have links to standard permissions and subscription screens which can be called via a url which looks something like this:

For this we had created a new entry under Screen Flow (System Configuration->KM->CM Configuration->User Interfaces->Mapping->Screen Flow) and provided the java class for the Permissions screenflow. When I try the same for approval workflow however it does not work. In short, when I create a new Screen Flow Entry e.g. "approval" and specify the Java class for approval screenflow (com.sapportals.wcm.rendering.screenflow.cm.ApprovalScreenflow) and then use the URL
http://<host>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prteventname/HtmlbEvent/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.command?Uri=/documents/Public%20Documents/Test%20Folder&isp=approval
it does not work. Does anybody know why approval workflow works differently and how I can remedy the situation? Any help would be appreciated.

UWL: Missing decision buttons for travel workflow

Hi all,
We're implementing travel workflow for a customer and we're not able to display the decision buttons in the UWL. We're quite baffled, because we've done this many times before with success. The items appear correctly, but no buttons for approve/reject.
What we have done:
- re-registered system
- manually created the XML file
- decision is working fine in backend (WF inbox)
- decision is working fine with RFCs (e.g. SAP_WAP_DECISION_COMPLETE)
We've compared UWL support info with a working system, and the only difference is that in the working system, there is an action called "GroupAction" which is not available in the non-working system for the relevant decision task.
The StepID / Item Type is "TS99000001"
I've already created an OSS, but maybe someone here know something.
The backend is of version ECC 6.0 SP18 (HR 40) (Ehp0)
THe portal is NW 7.0 SP17

Workflow and POWL integration for Travel Request / Approval

HI,
We are on EHP7 and using POWL for different kind of Approvals.
POWL is working good for Leave Approval and we have used Workflow Task ID as : TS12300097 / TS12300116, and all leave request appearing in POWL for manager and approving them.
Now we have to use POWL for Travel Request / Travel Expense approval and need to know what Task IDs I should use to configure this under SPRO.
Few tabs / links created like Travel Req Approval / Expense Approval / Claim Approval in POWL and need to show entries in respective tabs.

Is it required to run FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_S / FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_M to display Travel entries in POWL screen.
2) Is it required to keep entries under "Assign Task IDs to POWL Types" in SPRO ???
ex : MANAGER_MSS_INBOX MSS_POWL_LEA_APPROVAL TS12300097
I don;t see any difference in terms of functionality even If i delete above entry, may i know the necessity of having those entries ?

Assignment of Travel Workflow for ESS

If i'm using a customized workflow for travel in ess and not the standard workflow WS20000050, where do I make the assignment for it?

After deactivating Standard workflow WS20000050,and activating your customized workflow, you have to assign agents for your custom workflow. Select agent assignement icon in the application tool bar(Red colour icon). Select the template and goto Attribute button, choose General task. After this Agent assignment only your workflow will get triggered.
Then refresh your buffer memory in SWU_OBUF.

Now due to employee personal problem he do not want to travel. Now He want to cancel.
Can employee get cancel option in ESS portal?

Trying to organize a new workflow for travel using a desktop, laptop and IPad using LR mobile

Apologies in advance as I'm sure this has been asked but I am swamped with information on the web.
OK for travel I want to upload images to my laptop from my CF cards. I then want to be able to make basic edits and flags on the laptop (which I am yet to purchase) and then have this reflect on my desktop. I have LR mobile so figured the laptop access would allow me to do the same things as if I was viewing on the IPad but apparently not...Please help!
I have read about some people exporting the catalog backwards and forwards between the 2 devices and this seems messy and I don't think I want to get into that. A main attraction was to be able to upload and edit on the road (I'm taking a 3.5 week trip to Cambodia) and then on my return to my desktop have a lot of the work done to then make final detailed edits and subsequent books, prints etc.
I love photography but I'm not a tech geek so any help/suggestions appreciated!

On the laptop start a new catalogue for the trip. Import all new photos into it. At the end, copy it and the images to the desktop and in, your main catalogue, use File > Import from Another Catalog to bring in all the work in the trip catalogue. Maybe practice this workflow now and return with other questions?

WD application is not opening in UWL for custom workflow

I have created entries in SWFVISU, and webflow connecter also has entries for my custom task .
I can see work item in UWL but as soon as I click on workitem I am not able to see application or workitem .

As prashanth said please activate the services in the SICF and generate the error once again and check the log in nwa-->trouoble shooting-->logs and traces -->developer traces and check the error their.

my requirement is to differentiate or make condition of triggering workflow based on trip activity type,
but I can't find any attribute about trip activity type.
how to add activity type to be available for create condition?

Hi,
If am not wrong you are trying to raise event when ever there is a new travel request raised, so the BOR would be availbel in the workflow container to be more preciese it would be available in the event container, so you need to find out the right attribute in the BOR where the trip type is assigned and validate this in the start conditions i mean in the basic data of the workflow where you activate the event linkage.

Why do i have 2 entries for the same event in iCal?

I have just upgraded to OS Lion, purchased an iPhone 4S and have also moved to iColuds - why do I have 2 entries for all my events in iCal?

You can just delete the ones you don't want from the document Library. Be careful though, that you do not delete the symbol(s) that are being used on the canvas.
It's hard to say how you got so many duplicates in the first place without knowing your workflow.
My guess is that you created a new symbol every time you added something to the canvas, but that is only a guess.

go to swe2 T-code and associate BO to Workflow for trigger that
or
just go to ur Workflow (WS20000040) using SWDD T-Code then go for Workflow start step and make start event for BO
like for trip BO is "BUS2089" and event is "CREATED"
save and activate Workflow than it will got trigger for creating trip.

CDHDR entries for chaning LFA1-LNRZA

Hi,
If I change any of the main fields of vendor data then there is one entry in CDHDR
Even if I change multiple fields, eg I change name, city and bank data
Then there is only entry in CDHDR and multiple entries in CDPOS for LFA1, LFBK tables etc
but when I change the Atlernate Payee field in general data of vendor, there are multiple entries in CDHDR
there as as many entries in CDHDR as many entries are there for WYT3 table for the vendor
This is very puzzling and it effects as we have defined vendor change event and workflow
this causes multiple change events and multiple workflows for single change
so I need to figure out reason why there are multiple entries for change header for KRED change document for WYT3 table.

this issue is not related to workflow or workflow start conditions
because even if we completely remove the workflow from the system
still we will see difference in CDHDR entries
if we change any field eg name, city, postal code, bank...... then there is ONE entry in CDHDR for KRED
even for alternate payee field there is one entry for KRED
but only if there are partner functions mantained for a vendor, i.e. there are entries in WYT3 table, then there are multiple entries
the number of entries is equal to number of partner functions for that vendor in WYT3 table
the tabnam and fname in CDPOS is WYT3 and LIFN2.
Is this standard behavior of KRED change object ?
