Swi-prolog package is missing interface libraries for Java (jpl)

I want to embed Prolog in my Java app, but Arch's swi-prolog package doesn't seem to have the Java interface libraries (jpl) included. Anyone know why?

Hi, I have the same problem. Did you find the solution? Would be nice if you can help.

  • Is there any parallel programming libraries for java?

I am taking a course about parallel processing and we are using the C language with the MPI library.
so, I was wondering if there is any java libraries for parallel programming

    Did you try google?

  • Need old 'missing plug in' for Java 6

    Hi all,
I have recently downloaded the new Java 7 download however this is not compatible with alot of programmes that I need to use on my computer.
I have completly restored all of my computer and am now back to square one so have the Java 6 download. I am told that I am missing the plug in though and the only option I have is to download the Java 7 plug in or whatever the option is.
Can anyone advise me as to how to go about getting back the old plug in for Java 6.
    Thanks

Check out Java for Mac FAQs. IIRC, they give the directions to revert.
Turns out those instructions are wrong and apparently out of date.
First they include the "% " prompt before the commands which tends to confuse Mac users, especially the majority who are using bash with a "$ " prompt and not tcsh. Users should ignore the percent sign-space before sudo.
Next they forgot to escape the space between "Internet" and "Plug-Ins" so the command fails to find the target directory.
Then they provide a simlink to the wrong plug-in.
At least one user has successfully switched from the Java 7 plugin to the Java 6 plugin using the followng two lines:
    sudo rm -rf /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin
    sudo ln -s /System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle/Contents/Resources/JavaPlugin2_NPAPI .plugin /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin
I suspect the simlink (last term in the second command) could be named "JavaPlugin2_NPAPI.plugin" and work just as well, but I have not way to test that.

  • ODF - Open Document Format libraries for Java?

Are there any existing libraries for creating .odf documents from within Java?

I've tried with JAXB-2.1 to parse the Relax-NG ODF schemas with no luck. There are errors with <mixed> tags and then there are some definitions that can't be turned into java classes. It's too bad, really, it all should work.
There is a library in progress at http://odftoolkit.openoffice.org/. It works for simple stuff, but not even tables are implemented yet.

  • SAPGUI for JAVA error message "wrong logon langage!

    Hello,
We are testing SAPGUI 7.10 on Linux
but we have some problem when we want to connect to operation server and it works with other servers like development server.
    The error message is
    "Wrong longon language!

    You will be logged off!"
All servers are in same kernel package 4.6D
Version SAPGUI for Java is 7.10 rev 1 & rev 3

    Please help me!

I try with an other PC but i have the same problem.
In SM21, I didn't see error log of my logon test.
I have the same language installed in all servers, i saw in SMLT but i think there is a conflict between language in the PC and the server.
That is strange, it's worked with all server wich are not in cluster.
also , i tried to connect to servers wich are in cluster with this connection string : conn:/M/servername/S/3600/Gservergroup but i have the same problem.
I tried to connect to AS directly but i have the problem again.
    I don't understand what its means SM21 t-code.

  • JSON Library for Java

    Hi folks,
I have found few JSON libraries for Java such as Google and json.org. Would anyone recommend a good one for me, thanks!

I have been using that library (org.json) for about 3 months. It is simple and I haven't found any bugs.
There isn't much to JSON so I wouldn't expect one library to much different than another.

  • NFC for Java Card

    Hi guys
I'm a new one with NFC, especially for the field that I'm investigating right now, Java Cards. Hence, would you mind to help me with the initialization? I mean what am I supposed to begin with (name of documents, materials,...)?
Any of your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Jason

    Jason,
I'm not sure what you mean by NFC integrated Java Card. Could you give me the name of the document you downloaded from Global Platform?
Java Card knows about the transport type between itself and the reader: contact (T=0, T=1 : ISO/IEC 7816) or contactless (T=CL : ISO/IEC 14443). But that is all; a Java Card applet should not know or care about the lower transport layers.
As for the relationship between GSM, UICC and NFC, have a look at the document "NFC Stepping Stones" from SIMAlliance: http://www.simalliance.org/en?t=/documentManager/sfdoc.file.supply&fileID=1308660607647

I believe I have found my solution!
I can currently boot with my bios in ide mode- but my raid1 mirror is showing as independent drives (c and d)
I do a simple windows search for winload.exe on the C: drive and get nothing
that same search on the D: turns up winload.exe all over
When I look at I my BCD 'device partation=C:'
    shouldnt this be D:?
If so is this just a simple bcdedit, reboot into the bios, change my bios from IDE mode to RAID mode, save to cmos then, theoretically boot into windows with my raid correct (showing as a singe drive C: )
Please someone correct me if I am wrong

  • Missing export file for  package java/lang

    Hello,
I have Eclipse with JCOP Tools installed and I have a small Applet which runs fine with Java Card 2.2.1 which is part of the JCOP Tools. I want to try the [Extented Length APDU which is defined in Java Card 2.2.2|http://www.cs.ru.nl/~tews/jcdocs/app-notes-2.2.2/extapdu.html] so I downloaded the developpment kit 2.2.2 from sun which includes the api.jar.
In my Eclipse project, when I remove the 2.2.1 api jar and add the 2.2.2 instead, I get the following "compilation" error "
    Description     Resource     Path     Location     Type
missing export file for package java/lang     MyApplet.java     MyApplet/src/com/...     Unknown     com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.jcopmarker
Do you have an idea what is the problem ?
Is it possible to use JCOP Tools with Java Card 2.2.2 ?
How can I know which VM is running my JavaCard ? If it is 2.2.1 it would actually be useless to develop an Applet using 2.2.2. and on the card ther eis written only JCOP31 V2.2
    Thanks,

Where can I get a newer version ? On NXP site there is not much about JCOP :(

  • Missing libraries for j2me?

    Hi!
I have source code for Jess (java expert system) written in J2SE that I am trying to compile for J2ME. Of course, I keep getting compilation errors, since J2ME does not have e.g. java.util.Iterator or java.io.Serializable. What can I do (if anything?!) to solve this problem? Jess folks do not have a mobile device version. Are there additional libraries for J2ME I could download and happily compile my code? Thank you, I am really stuck with this!
    -Buso

    Hi Buso,
I am not sure if its a good solution, but you can try it as follows :
Use the source code that comes with Java SDK (src.zip in sdk ), extract the classes (and their dependant classes) to a different folder, compile them and make your own jar file. Keep this Jar file in in WTK's Lib folder.
    I suppose this should work.
    Cheers

  • Interface specification for GPIB-ENET

I have several GPIB-ENET Ethernet<->IEEE 488 controllers (P/N 181950L-01). For an embedded application, I need to write a driver for this device (preferably in Perl or Python). Where can I find the documentation of the protocol that the GPIB speaks over its Ethernet interface?
Alternatively, if such protocol documentation is not available, source code for Unix/Linux tools and libraries for the GPIB-ENET might also serve my needs.
I can't use any of the binary-only drivers or utilities supplied by NI, because my application does not run on a standard operating system. I need to write a very simple version of a GPIB-ENET driver myself, which I hope should not be too difficult, given the right documentation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Hi Markus
There are C source code libraries available for purchase, which should allow you to create a driver for the GPIB-ENET device. This package is called ESP-488. Please see the following links:

It seem that you are missing libraries to start the application:
Error while processing library references. Unresolved applic
    +ation library references, defined in weblogic-application.xml: [Extension-Name:+
    adf.oracle.domain, exact-match: false], [Extension-Name: *oracle.sdp.messaging*, e+

    weblogic.management.DeploymentException: J2EE:160149Error while processing lib

    +application.xml: Extension-Name: adf.oracle.domain, exact-match: false, [Exten+
    sion-Name: oracle.sdp.messaging, exact-match: false].
Either you haven't installed the libraries or you have installed them to the Admin server and need to activate them on the managed server. You should be able to see if they are installed if you look at the deployments overview in the weblogic console. I found this blog entry usefull when I needed to install the libraries for adf:
    http://one-size-doesnt-fit-all.blogspot.com/2009/01/configuring-weblogic-server.html
If they are installed you might want to check each of them if they are assigned to you managed server target. You can select them in the deployment overview and choose the target option. There should be a check mark at the server you deployed your application to.

  • WS - "java.rmi.MarshalException: (1)Missing end tag for Body or Envelope"

    HI All,
I'm new of this forum but I really hope you could help me solving the problem I have to connect Web Services and midlets.
Somehow my configuration works with some services I've found online but when I invoke very simple services deployed on my server(s) I always have "java.rmi.MarshalException: (1)Missing end tag for Body or Envelope" exception"
Let me add some more information to the problem:
    System Configuration:
    - JBoss (but I also tried axis) - standard installation (http/1.1)
    - WTK 2.5 (but I also tried 2.2) - standard installation
    - I tried "trusted" and "untrusted" security configuration of the servlet
    - Netbeans IDE 5.0 (to create both Midlets and WS)
    - WS uses document/literal as expected by JSR 172
The midlet is created with no problems but at the time of invocation the server throws the above exception (which is part of rmi. remoteException)
By monitoring the network both at client and server side I noticed that the information received is chuncked after 768 bytes. However, If the (soap) reponse is less than such value, I still have the error.
Using Http/1.1. at the mobile side, the service does not return me anything (0kb) while if I set the mobile device to http/1.0, I get the above error.
I really have to make the midlet running so any type of help will be really appreciated!!
    Thanks in advance

    Hi all,
as many developers I have encountered the famous "java.rmi.MarshallException:(1)Missing end tag for Body or Envelope" during the development of my WS app for J2ME (JSR 172).
It is correct that is the empty tag <soapenv:Header /> causing this error.
To fix this error, it is necessary to stop the server to generate this empty header in the response stream.
I have fixed this error for Axis2: unfortunaly it is necessary to modify a class in Axiom library. This library is used in Axis2 to produce the SOAP response, you can download the source code at http://ws.apache.org/commons/axiom/source-repository.html.
    Here the class to modify:
    axiom\modules\axiom-impl\src\main\java\org\apache\axiom\soap\impl\llom\soap11\SOAP11Factory.java
by commenting the line 273 in the method called getDefaultEnvelope() to prevent the empty header insertion in SOAP response:
    public SOAPEnvelope getDefaultEnvelope() throws SOAPProcessingException {
            OMNamespace ns =
                    new OMNamespaceImpl(
                            SOAP11Constants.SOAP_ENVELOPE_NAMESPACE_URI,
                            SOAP11Constants.SOAP_DEFAULT_NAMESPACE_PREFIX);
            SOAPEnvelopeImpl env = new SOAPEnvelopeImpl(ns, this);
//createSOAPHeader(env); the line to be commented
            createSOAPBody(env);
            return env;
}Finally you have to recompile Axiom using Maven to obtain the fixed package axiom-impl.jar and to replace this package on the lib repository of your Axis2 server.
A little tricky to fix this bug but now my app runs perfectly ;)
    Enjoy!
