when i switch on my notebook then i recieved the massege 'enter the command grub rescue' and not start this. sir plz help me..

Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.

I am doing a question in which I have to make a simple ATM program that can withraw and deposit money as many times as the user wants. To exit the program the user has to hit "x". Big installation and switching IP problems with FIOS

     Okay, here's my problems. A little background first. We ordered the FIOS bundle for our computer and also for our son's computer. He will use the router and go wireless. We had Verizon DSL with AOL, he had MSN dial-up. The tech installer arrives yesterday. Does everything he's supposed to--I guess. But, when he's almost finished, he mentions we need an ethernet adapter for my computer and my son needs a wireless adapter to pick up the signal. My son runs to Best Buy and purchases both. It cost $97 for both. First, I THOUGHT this was all supposed to be included! Why did I have to spend an additional $97 on these items? Shouldn't they have been included? As my son arrived back from Best Buy, the tech guy was in the process of leaving. He told us WE were supposed to install the ethernet adapter and the wireless adapter ourselves--AND HE LEFT!!! Luckily my son is somewhat computer savvy and did it. We now have FIOS internet thanks to our son! However, the tech guy did absolutely nothing with my son's computer.
     Second, we sit down to check out our new FIOS cable. One problem, the channels weren't even comparable to our old Comcast cable HD channels. Not even close. The HD channels had a line running through them and weren't even in HD! We called tech services. The same tech guy comes back, hands us 4 bundles of cables, tells us to take out the coax cable and instead use the new A/V--Red, Blue and Green cables, AND LEAVES.....AGAIN!. WE, more precisely, our son, had to install them on both T.V.'s because tech guy had another home to do and didn't have the time. My son did it.....we now have FIOS cable--in HD, thanks to our son!
     Third, I would like to drop my AOL and my son would like to drop his MSN and we would both like to use Verizon for our homepage and receive email through them now. We've read the FIOS internet and TV user guide and WE STILL cannot figure out how to switch over. I did manage to get my Verizon.net email and have used TrueSwitch, But we're afraid of cancelling our AOL and our son is afraid of cancelling his MSN for fear we won't be able to log on to a homepage. There's no icon on our desktops for Verizon's homepage. Tech service has been no help. My son has no clue how he can change from his MSN homepage from to Verizon Central because there is no mention on how to do that in the book or on any of the help pages. He has no clue how to change his account (email, homepage etc), from MSN to Verizon. The book is unclear and hard to follow. The help sites are the same. Links don't work, downloads won't download. I have a college degree and can't even follow these directions! It makes me want to cancel the whole thing and go back to regular cable. There's not even a button to log off the FIOS internet on my computer or on my son's computer. I think FIOS has been running for 2 days--even when the computers are shut off. Is it supposed to do that?

Verizon has no way of knowing what your PC has prior to showing up... It is assumed that your PC's are already up to snuff as probably 99% of PC's now-a-days have a Ethernet card built in... Since your Pc's did not have the hardware neccesary to use the sevice, you are responsible for your PC's... The field tech is not responsible for installing third party equipment of any kind

That was wrong, the Field tech shoudl have setup your HD box with your HDTV witht he proper HD cords, the first time... and certainly should have done so the second time

    Feel free to cnacel the other guys... Verizon is your Internet Service Provider.... The Internet is already being provided.... AOL and MSN are mearly Content providers... To set you home page inside internet explorer, click on Tool and then itnernet options... you will see the section for homepage... type in www.verizon.net or whatever you want it to be

Switch on problem Macbook pro

You could try a PRAM reset - not sure it will resolve the problem, but it won't hurt to try:

If the problem persists I'd recommend you call Apple and get them to look at it under warranty.

Switch on problem Nokia N70

Maybe someone can help me with the following problem. My Nokia N70 is flat dead, it won´t switch on. It went like this.. The battery had to be charged. After it indicated that the battery was charged, I tried to switch it on. I saw two nokia logo´s but the screen stayed white. It didn´t want to start up. After I disconnected the adapter, it went dead. I brought it to a certified nokia repair shop and they fixed it for me. According to them, it was an issue with the power button. They said it was not covered by that garanty. Makes you think what the **bleep** is covered by that garanty... Like I almost never touch that power button, only when it´s gone dead! Guess what, two weeks later I have the same problem! I like to talk to somebody from Nokia, but it seems bloody difficult. For an aspiringjournalist like me, this phone is an indispensible tool!

If the phone is now out of it's warranty duration. You really need to pay for the parts and the labor that the Nokia Service Centre offers.

Switch Activity - Problem

Problem:
A workflow switch statement with two branches, Branch 1 is a Success Path and Branch 2 as a Failure Path.
In the Success Path we set an attribute orderState with a value 1 and in the Failure Path we set an attribute in a complex element orderContact.
Executing the above workflow such that it takes the Success path ALWAYS results in BPEL setting the orderState with value 1 that was specified in the Success path (which is correct) AND ALSO sets/initializes
the complex orderContact element with a NON NULL value ( which is not what it should do).
This is the output. I have highlighted the orderContact element that should not have
been as part of the output structure.

Please post the HP product number for your PC. How to Find the HP Model Number and the HP Product Number or let HP automatically find your PC model number and HP network attached printers. This will allow others to review your issue, make suggestions and review your responses. This is usually the best way to get assistance.
Open up your PC and use a can of compressed air to clean out all of the dust from all of the fans including the graphics card if your have one and also the CPU heat sink. Do you have a discrete graphics card in your PC?

300-28 Switches ACL Problem (Lack of Hardware Error)

Hi!
I am using SG300-28 switches in Layer 3 mode. I have 15 Vlans created and routing. I have 3 ACLS applied on the 5 VLANs.
I am facing problem while adding another ACL in the VLAN interface error is (Lack of Hardware resources).
I don't know what is the problem, I am worried about it. Please help in this.
I have also updated my switch to latest firmware e.g.1.4.0.88

seems you've reached maximum number of ACL entries for switch (512). Please:
how many ACLs you have configured in total?
how many entries have each applied access list on your switch?
you can also check available resources with command "show system resources tcam"

X201 Wireless switch Hardware problem - PLEASE HELP

Hello everyone,
I have been a regular reader of this wonderful forum and have also participated on a few questions. I have an x201 which I bought from UK 6months back.
After a smooth sail for many months and just when I thought life was going good, I have a wireless switch problem that pops up out of nowhere. I never use hardware switch and had to do it only last week because of checking for my internet connection problems.
Only once in my entire experience with this laptop that I put it off, now it has become so sensitive that even shaking the laptop while typing turns off the laptop. On reading about this problem I found out that it is quite a common problem with x-series and has many users affected from it. After confidently calling the customer support they ask me to pay 200euros just to "TAKE A LOOK AT THE PROBLEM"????. Apart from at least acknowledging the persistent problem across all the models they end up asking me to pay for everything and cannot tell me how much it will cost me or even tell me how long it will take to replace this.
Is there any other way to do this? The support told me that the only other way to repair this will be to buy the Base switch myself and then replace it. I am a biologist doing my PhD and have no knowledge of all these. Apart from all the appluad this laptop got from my colleagues, now they all think this is a joke by Lenovo to be charging for something that is entirely their mistake.
Can anyone point to a solution please and help me. I was really looking to buying an ultrabook next year but looks like replacing a switch is going to cost me 1/4th of what one would be for an entire laptop.

Switching locale problem (using Action.setLocale(...))

Hello.
I have problem with switching locale using Action.setLocale(...). After starting the application, when the resource messages from the bundles aren't read, when I use locale based on browser language (1st locale) and use some messages, they display correctly. All is OK when I switch to another locale (2nd locale).
But when I switch it back to original locale (1st one), read other page (with new messages) and switch to 2nd locale and try to read same messages, the language of the messages are from the 1st locale.
Does anybody met this problem?

Switch hard problem

I had a problem with a switch on my network..the problem that is boot normally when i start it, but no switching function, and no ping between client unless the ports work well!!

Do revert back the type of switch which you are using and also usually all the equipments takes time for initialization,power on self test,loading the bootstrap process,loading the ios code and the configuration.
once it pass thru all these stages it starts functioning as u desire to do so.
you can very well monitor all these process by getting onto the console port of the switch which will give you a fair idea about how the systems gets onto active mode.
if you face some issues after normal bootup process you can very well check the configuration part if its already done and verify the same for possible causes.
Again if the ports are in shut state u can very well enable them off using no shut command udner the interface config mode..
if possible do post out the startup process and the show run of your switch captured from the console..

Switch Application problem

When I press Command-Tab I'm able to switch the application, but only on the menu bar, the application does not come to the front. Is there a way to get the application I've switched to to come to the front when I choose it with Command-Tab

I have this problem as well. Something is not right with the application switching in Leopard, it happens occasionally when click between applications as well. I can't remember exactly what happens with me, but it was something to the nature of the menu bar. I would cmd-tab / click between programs and the menu bar would stay stuck with the last used program. Really wierd.

Switch language problem

Hello,
When i set up my OS X, i chose Dvorak as my default input language, and it worked fine, even when i switched to chinese pinyin the keyboard input keys were still dvorak.
Now here is the problem, i can't get the pinyin input to switch back to qwerty, i deleted the dvorak input and only have US and pinyin as my inputs, with the US one i can type qwerty fine, but once i switched it back to pinyin it starts responding with dvorak keystrokes again, anyone have an idea why this is happening? Thanks

That's interesting! One of the main complaints about OS X Chinese input is that it can only do Qwerty. We have to recommend people install another one, QIM, in order to do anything else:

Router 2811 and C2960 Switch Trunking Problem

Hi all
I got an problem with a trunking problem between Router 2811 and C2960 switch
In router 2811 - I created f0/0.1 10.65.20.1 (VLAN 1) and f0/0.48 10.65.23.1 (VLAN 48)
In C2960 - Vlan 1 10.65.20.30 , VLAN 48 10.65.23.30
Finally I can only ping VLAN 1 IP but fail to ping VLAN 48 IP, can help me how to troubleshoot it?

Switching accounts problems

I have four macs at home connected with airport extreme. On only the Intel 20" iMac I am unable to switch between users. In fact, if I ask for a login window I get a blank blue screen and power off is the only solution.
However, if before switching I turn airport off the problem goes away! In other words to switch between users I need to first turn off airport, then switch, and then turn airport back on again. On my Intel powerbook everything is just fine.
Any ideas? I am stumped!
