SwitchGroup not render object after switch

Hello every one,
I have implemeted switchGroup with 2 Text2D instances in it. I have setted the first one to be visible and in running application it is. Problem occurs when I've changed visible parametr to next number. Object on screen is still wisible and "new" object does not appear. I really do not know where is the problem.
I have passed code in debug mode and all seems to be fine. Below are snapshots of my code. Thanks a lot for help.

I'm seeing the error: "TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'cpoint.getSymbolElement') in an _upgraded composition which is causing points and tooltips to not appear in the loaded composition.

This issue only began happening after upgrading to 2014.1.1
No changes were made to my computer and I've tested it on other computers with the same result

I am very much an Edge and JavaScript rookie and have been modifying this project (which was created by someone else who is no longer supporting it) to suit my needs. Any help getting this to work in the new version of Edge would be greatly appreciated.

Model not deploying anymore after switching to Flex 2.0

Hello you all,
our QAS system had been upgraded from SP12 to SP16, so I decided to test the new Flex 2.0 compiler with a model extracted from DEV system (via "Export to file" and "Import from file").
Everything went well as long as I kept the old Flex compiler, but when I switched to Flex 2.0 compiler I had an error in deployment. After activating the error log trace, I've been able to see the description:
Flex2Compiler.Compile: FlexCompilerException: Encountered invalid infoset AAA2LF: null
Does anybody of you know what this is about? Isn't compatibility with previous compiler versions assured by Flex 2.0?
Please note that I checked in my .gml file and no component called AAA2LF is present in the model.

Hi Govindu,
I tried even with a very simple model: a start point, a query, a table and a chart to show the results, and it still doesn't deploy.
However, in some cases (look like absolutely random to me), the Flex 2.0 does deploy the old model but with some serious errors, including:
- Visibility conditions not working
- Layers not displayed at all
- Unselectable tables displayed with first line selected
- Expression boxes with percentage displayed with a value 100 times grater (eg. 120% becomes 12000%)
Note that if I build the exact same model from the beginning, instead of importing an old one, there are no problems at all and everything seems to work fine.
I suppose that's an annoying SP16 bug, don't you think?

Album view does not render correctly after synced changes

I was correcting the album rendering of some soundtrack albums today and noticed that albums do not group correctly across computers when the metadata is synced using Match. I am hoping someone can confirm they get the same results and possibly offer a fix.
Problem
Forcing a compilation album to render as a single album instead of multiple albums by setting the "Album Artist" and "Part of Compilation" fields does not sync across computers despite the fact that all of the relevant metadata syncs correctly.
Setup
Laptop and Desktop sitting next to each other. Both running Windows 8.1 and iTunes 11.1.3.8 logged into the same iTunes account for all services. (I am curious about running the experiment on all Macs or cross-platform, but all I have are PCs.)
Experiment
Step 1- Pick an album with various artists such as a soundtrack and confirm that it renders as one complete album in "Album" view in iTunes on both computers.
Step 2- Using the desktop, select all songs on the album and change the "Album Artist" field to be blank on all of them by selecting that field and removing the text in that field. Also set "Part of Compilation" on the "Options" tab to "No". Click OK and the album should be rendered as multiple albums for each track on the soundtrack. It is easiest to see this by staying in "Album" view and searching for the album name in the search tool in the upper right corner of iTunes.
Step 3- Go to the laptop and search for the album name in the "Album" view. It will still be rendered as 1 album instead of multiple albums for each track as it is on the desktop. Click on any song on the album and confirm that the "Album Artist" field is blank and "Part of Compilation" is clear (the metadata should sync within a few seconds). With these settings, the album should render as multiple tracks- not a single album. Closing and re-opening iTunes, updating Match or updating Genius does not re-render the album view as separate albums.
Step 4- Using the laptop, set the "Album Artist" field back to "Various Artists". The desktop will get that update, but not re-render the album as single album. The only way to "fix" the desktop is to reset the "Album Artist" field to "Various Artists" from the desktop.
My Conclusion
iTunes renders album views only when a change is made that would result in a change to the view and that rendering is only stored locally. iTunes does not correctly update album rendering when new meta-data that should cause a change in the view is received via Match. This is a problem because you cannot fix an album rendering on one computer and have that correction sync to your other computers. You have to "fix" the view on each computer individually.
Possible Workaround
Turn off iTunes Match and remove the iTunes database and all music on all computers but one. Using the one computer, make all required fixes and then recreate the iTunes database using Match on each of the other computers.
Any help or comments is much appreciated.

I have the same problem with PDFs created in Illustrator CS3. The bitmaps inside the PDF get rendered wrongly -- inverted or decolored.
One fix is to use ZIP instead of JPEG for the compression method when saving the file as an Adobe PDF.
I think it is a bug in Preview 5 (already filed it with Apple). With Preview 4.2 (Leopard) or using Acrobat 8.1.3, the PDF renders fine.

Applications do not find connection after switching (wireless) network

When I move from one network to another, programs do not recognize that the internet connection works again. This happens to Opera and Spotify running in Wine at least.
Anyone know why?

node 1 - 10.100.1.201
node 2 - 10.100.1.203
vip - 10.100.1.202
when both server restarted, i can remote to both servers, no problem.
1. RDP to both node 1 and 2 together on their physical IP. Connected successfully.
2. checked the Active node on node 1. Perform fail over from node 1 to 2, node 1 RDP session loss connection immediately. checked on node 2, cluster node active on node 2. no errors.
3. perform node 2 to node 1 fail over. Node 2 RDP session loss connection immediately, node 1 session came back. checked cluster node active on node 1. no errors.
4. in order to have both can continue to rdp, perform restart on node 2 (the node cannot reconnect), after reboot, rdp back to normal.
5. firewall team confirm connection has reach server, server not responding to rdp apparently.

Content of external HD (fat 32) not arranged properly after switch to 10.5

Hi everyone
I hope this question is new, I tried to find an answer before posting this.
Here's the case in a nutshell:
- I got an external, FAT formatted harddisk
- The problem seems to affect only 10.5, since it didn't occur on 10.4
- Now all the content of the harddisk isn't arranged
More specific:
- How it looks: The folders / filers are scattered randomly, partly over each other
- I tried rearrange the files or folders, but when I connect the disk a 2nd time after, the changes I've made are lost (of course after ejecting it the right way).
Have you any idea how I can solve this? Although it's not that important, it gets annoying, especially when I have to arrange a folder every time I need to find something within..
I'd be most greatful to read some comments about this issue.

The reason the settings were not stored was my way of setting the view. Apparently this is a very basic user fault, because I set the view via the the buttons at the top. To keep a view setting however, it seems to be necessary to select it in the view options menu. A logical distinction between current and setup view type.
The external hd still doesn't remember the arrangement options I set up though. But I could bypass this by setting the default arrangement type to name, because this global setting affects the external hd as well.
All in all, I guess the cause is a mixture of both format and non format related problems: While the setting of an individual folder is not a problem on the internal drive, it doesn't work on the external. I guess this is because of the format. On the other hand I didn't know that temporary and permanent settings require (in this case) different approaches.
Still, I think it's worth mentioning the open question remains why this wasn't an issue in the older OS..
So thanks again to both of you. This was a good experience, to see a forum respond this fast and efficient. Time allows, I'll try to do my share and help others as well.

Deleting not needed objects after impl. of a solution

Hello everyone,
some time back, we developed a solution in BW7.0. All queries, reports are working fine.
We don't need to feed our data targets anymore. In order to keep these upward queries operational, We want to keep only needed objects i.e. cubes, Multiproviders, DSOs...etc while delete everything else which are not needed like DSOs, transformations, routines, DTPs, Process chains...etc.
What could be no. of steps to consider and how to access the impact of deleting any object. Any guidelines?

Thanks for replying. We don't need to update data. Queries are using data from certain Multiproviders where data are residing in IC, DSOs and InfoObjects.
Main thing to check is: if an Active table of a DSO is being used in any routine of another transformation or anywhere else which we don't want to delete. This is like doing the impact analysis of a deletion of a DSO. If a DSO being used under MP1 and here we say we want to delete it, but then may be this DSO is being used under MP4 where we want to keep it, end decision keep the DSO.
Following a post on SDN, I checked in RSAABAP table by giving active table of a certain DSO and it shows no entries. But I am sure we have used this DSO's active table in some routines.

SP 2013 Calendar not render properly after restore database content

Dear Sir/Madam,
After we setting up the SP2013 in a new App server, mount the Web App to an existing database WSS_Content.
Every sites are loading back and working fine, except the calendar looks different, and cannot switch between day view, week view, and month view.(Means no responding after clicking)
We did do some Custom Action to hide the ribbon tab in the old server last time.
And we use SP 2013 in old server but SP2013 SP1 in the new server.
Please refer to two diff. views below, and we couldn't find a solution that how to switch back to the old server calendar view.
Anybody can help?

Airport Extreme not showing up after switching to extend the network

I have an older Airport Extreme that I am trying to setup to extend the network from my uverse gateway. When I restore the AE to factory settings and set it up to extend the network, it goes through the process and then flashes amber. Also, it takes several tries for the AE to even show up at all in Airport Utility. The AE is version 7.6.4. I am running on Mac with 10.10.1

When two wireless routers.....the Uverse in your example, and an AirPort Extreme......are located a few rooms apart with both configured to create a wireless network using the same wireless network name and password, then things will behave as if you have one "big" network.
Although the AirPort Express is technically creating a separate network, the fact that it is using the same wireless network name and password will make it behave as if it were extending the network to provide more range. This is technically known as a "Roaming Network".
Also are you suggesting to not use the uverse gateway as a wireless router but to use the AE as such?
No, since you indicated in your first sentence that you wanted to use the older AirPort to extend the network. It could not "extend" the network if the Uverse gateway was not already producing a wireless network signal, since there would be nothing to extend.
Now, if you do want to turn off the wireless function on the Uverse and only use the AirPort Extreme, that is an option, but you will have a much "smaller" network range wise, since you will only have a good wireless signal when you are in range of the AirPort Extreme.

I guess you are talking about the Oracle Upgrade and not ECC Upgrade, as following are the pre-requisites for an ECC upgrade.
Making Database-Specific Preparations for Oracle
1. Check the value of parameter shared_pool_size:

Oracle 9.2: Check the value in file $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init<SID>.ora.
Oracle 10.1 and higher:
select NAME, VALUE from v$parameter where name=shared_pool_size;
select NAME, VALUE from v$parameter where name=shared_pool_reserved_size;
If the value is lower than 150 MB, increase it to at least 150 MB (400 MB is better), and restart the
database.
2. Log on as user <sapsid>adm at the operating system level.
3. Log on to the database as the Oracle user system with sqlplus
4. Check the resource quotas of the database user SAPR3 or SAP<SAPSID>:
Oracle error 1536 can occur during the upgrade if the resource quotas of database user SAPR3
orSAP<SAPSID> are limited. Make sure that these quotas are unlimited. Check whether the table
DBA_SYS_PRIVS contains one of the following entries:
grantee=SAPR3/SAP<SAPSID>,privilege=UNLIMITED TABLESPACE,adm=YES
grantee=SAPR3/SAP<SAPSID>,privilege=UNLIMITED TABLESPACE,adm=NO
To do this, enter the following SQLPLUS statement:
select * from dba_sys_privs where grantee = SAPR3/SAP<SAPSID>;
If this entry does not exist, enter the SQLPLUS statement:
grant unlimited tablespace to sapr3/SAP<SAPSID>;
5. Log off from the database with the command quit.
6. Only if using the dictionary managed tablespaces function:
Make sure that the storage parameters MAXEXTENTS and NEXT have the correct values for certain tables and indexes. Otherwise, they may overflow during the upgrade. The Oracle-specific upgrade SAP Note contains the tables and the required minimum values.You can display the current settings with BRSPACE. The index names are not constant. However, you can also determine these names with BRSPACE. SAP Note 11777 describes how to change the parameters NEXT and MAXEXTENTS.
7. Only valid for: SAP R/3 3.1I
Make sure that parameter OPTIMIZER_MODE is set to OPTIMIZER_MODE=RULE.
For Oracle 9.2, check and, if necessary, edit the following Oracle profile:
$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init<SAPSID>.ora
For Oracle 10.1. and higher, use the following statements:
Sqlplus /nolog
Connect /as sysdba
Alter system set OPTIMIZER_MODE=RULE scope=spfile;
8. Only if you do not switch off archiving during the upgrade:
If you want to leave brarchive running during the upgrade to avoid archiver stuck situations (brarchive -f ...), proceed as follows:
a) Create a temporary copy of brarchive:

b) Start brarchive as user ora<sapsid> from the temporary directory /tmp/brarchive -f ...
c) After the upgrade, delete the copy of brarchive.
This procedure avoids upgrade errors caused by the program files being overwritten during the upgrade.
9. If your database version is already higher than the minimum version for the new release, we recommend that you exchange the DBA tools (such as BRSPACE) for the upgrade. The Database Software Oracle DVD for the database contains the up-to-date tools that you unpacked on the current kernel when you migrated the database. After you execute PREPARE, unpack this archive again into the exe subdirectory of the upgrade directory. This overwrites the DBA tools optimized for the minimum required database version with the tools best suited to your database version.
And if you are talking about an Oracle Upgrade then you just need these to compare once you have upgraded to 10g.
3.9 Checking for Invalid Database Objects
This optional step lets you check if there are any invalid database objects before the database upgrade to Oracle database 10g starts. After the upgrade it helps you distinguish database objects that have become invalid due to the upgrade process from those that were already invalid to start with.
Procedure
1. Execute the following commands:
SQL> spool invalid_objects
SQL> select unique object_name, object_type, owner from dba_objects where status
= 'INVALID';
SQL> @?/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql
SQL> select unique object_name, object_type, owner from dba_objects where status
= 'INVALID';
SQL> spool off
A list of invalid objects before the upgrade is now generated.
2. Check the list of invalid objects after the upgrade.
If any objects in the list from before the upgrade are also in the list of invalid objects after the upgrade, you can be sure that this is not due to the upgrade process.

"Class Not Registered" after switching from 32-bit to 64-bit LabVIEW.

I recently upgraded LabVIEW 2012 from 32-bit to 64-bit. Now I'm getting an error that says "Class not Registered". It still works just fine with the 32-bit version.

Thank you Nathan and Sunshine. The problem is I didn't build the program - it came with the instrument. As far as I can tell this is what's going on: The vi's are replete with these activeX objects - all communication with the instruments is done through invoke and property nodes. After switching to 64-bit the very first sub vi has an error at the very first command (Err (-2147221164)). It's a reference (seemingly to a class but I actually have no idea what that means) passed to the "Open Automation Function". I'll attach a screen shot for the sake of overkill.

You have no authorization for the authorization object 'S_DEVELOP', which would allow you to change the screen concerned.
There is also a second possibility:
You want to edit a modified SAP screen in a customer system after an upgrate (SAP transport). The screen remains locked for editing until the new SAP version and the customer version have been aligned (Transaction SPAU).
System Response
Authorizations are assigned to users in profiles. Profiles are stored in the user master record.
Procedure
Comsult your system administrator.

Does the user who would like to change the screen have the authorisation
for S_DEVELOP in his profile? Please run transaction /NSU53 after the
failed authorisation. You will get an information which authorisation
is missing.
Additional please check if you have open entries in transaction SPAU for
that object.
If you couldn´t solve the issue I need an user to analyse it in your
development system.
That user needs all authorisation for development and has to be
registrated as developer.
The system uses the authorization object S_DEVELOP for Workbench objects
can you please check your user master record whether it contains the
required autorization or not.
Please also ensure that modification adjustment is turned on as per note:
