Sybase - Oracle: Editing triggers/procedures clears them

Migrating from Sybase 11.0 to Oracle 8.1 I get of course
parsing errors. If I want to fix them by editing the text
of the stored procedures/views/triggers in the repository
(i.e. clicking on the window and entering text, commenting
out etc.) leads to
parsing errors ... EOF
Looking at the repository, the captured source text is now
empty. Since I have no chance to capture single procs, I have
to capture all 400+ procs, triggers, views again, which takes
long time.
Please fix this behaviour or at least allow to capture single
objects.

Hi Jorg,
This is a bug and it has been fixed.You can get the fix in the
next beta release.Pls check with the Product manager on the next
release.

Yes, sure, you can create a PL/SQL procedure, function, package, package body, etc. from within an OCCI application. I would say that, generally, this is not the sort of activity a typical client application would perform unless there is some initialization/installation processes that need to happen. In any case, here is a simple demo showing how to create a stand alone procedure (in a real application I would use a package and body) that returns a ref cursor. The ref cursor is just a simple select of two columns in the hr.countries sample table. Of course, there is no error handling, object orientation, etc. in this demo - I wanted to keep the code as short and as simple as possible to illustrate the concept.

How to Insert date in 'DD/MM/YYYY' format in oracle using stored procedure?
This is my Input data.
11/25/2007.
By using below query, it is inserted into database.
sql>Insert into tblname values(to_date('11/25/2007','MM/DD/YYYY'));
But using stored procedure, the same query is not running.
It shows error like
ORA-01843: not a valid month ORA-06512: at line 1
Procedure:

I had used 'nls_date_language = american' also.
Prcodeure is created but not worked in jsp. The same error is thrown.

I installed oracle 8i personal on my PC.
going through the Introduction to SQL PL/SQL course. The SELECT Statement is working fine. But When I reach to write programs/scripts with ACCEPT, TTITLE, BTITLE.
I am getting THe following Error message:
"You can use PL/SQL only if you have ORACLE with the procedural option".
I don't know from where I can get the procedural option.
Please tell me what to do.

Is the only solution to update/edit the CSS of a theme, to download the CSS then paste it in Inline field (under CSS section of the template)?No. If you want a custom theme the best way is:
1. Copy the theme CSS to an accessible location in the file system (the best way) or APEX repository (if you don't have file system access).

How do I clear apps after I've updated them. They show open, I just can't figure out how to clear them...

Updated to ios7, but now I can't clear them out of the apps file.

Currently, there is no way to remove them from the App Updates tab of the App Store. It seems that this is normal and expected behavior in iOS 7 now.

There is no specific command that directly shows whether an installation is an Enterprise Edition or a Standard Edition.
However, there are multiple places that can be checked for the actually installed Oracle Edition. e.g.
1) The SQL*Plus banner
2) From the installation logs created while installation of the software
Location: $ORACLE_HOME/cfgtoollogs/oui
installActions<timestamp>.log file also shows the installed Oracle Edition in several places.
The 'Summary Page' shows what type of installation have been selected,
i.e. Standard for SE, Enterprise or Custom for EE
3) invoke the OUI GUI and check the installed products (should show the type of installation)

You can always finish the downloads in iTunes on your computer and then the TV Shows to the iPad. Launch iTunes and go to Store>Check for available downloads. Finish the downloads and then sync the iPad.
As far as trying to finish the downloads on the iPad .....
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again.
