Sync Time Frame Settings

During the original 7 months using the Z10 my emails and calendar had synced perfectly with Outlook with the Sync Time Frame of 30 days setting. Yesterday I changed the sync time frame to FOREVER and my SENT emails and sub-folders no longer synced. After changing back to 30 days, most folder synced properly immediately except for the DRAFTS folder which is still not syncing a day later.
Anyone else experience these?
A sync time frame longer than 30 days and shorter than forever would be a huge improvement - i.e.: 180 days, 365 days, 720 days.

It seems many people are having email issues with Windows Live/ Hotmail/ Outlook accounts since the Outlook outage last Thursday...I still can't get my emails to my z10, though I can now access my emails over the browser...

  • Calendar sync time off by one hour

    When I sync my BB Curve 8530, version 5.0, by Verizon with Outlook 2007 calendar, the appointment time is off by one hour.  The BB Curve always shows the appt time one hour later than Outlook.  When I schedule an all day event, it begins at 1 am and carries over to the next day at 1 am.  I've verified time zone settings for both.  Not sure what else to do or check.  Any advice is greatly appreciated so I won't be late again!!!

  • SAP PORTAL Time-Out Settings / BO iView Reports..?

    We have created BO object-specific iView requests in SAP PORTAL based on Ingo's posting....
    SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise & SAP Enterprise Portal - Part 3 of 4
    Currently, just posting some small CR4E and Analysis for Office (*Design Studio will be added in a few months) report objects that are based on BW queries - and response time is a few seconds.
    However, long-term as our BW grows - and the volume of data/periods expands we may see some reduction in the performance of these reports, and they make take a few-minutes to return data.
    The SAP Portal team already have an issue with an ECC / T-Code report (*no Business Objects involved) which runs over 100 seconds - and hits a Portal time-out....and are wondering if we would hit the same issue if a CR4E within the Portal ran longer than 100 seconds...?
    I think the answer is "NO", the Portal time-out would not apply in that scenario. My assumption is that in our solution-path, the Portal's 100 second time-out rule would ONLY apply to the process of the Portal invoking the iView request - and opening the frame for the CR4E content.
    Once the frame is open - and the RPT / Prompt-Screen is loaded the Portal time-out is "happy".
    After that iView -> BO frame is established....so, even if the CR4E & BW Query took more than 100 Seconds to return/display the data - the SAP Portal would not time-out - as all of that activity is actually taking place at the BOE Platform layer within the frame (and using the time-out settings at the BOE level).
    Can anyone confirm that my assumptions are correct, or explain where the assumption is wrong..?

    In our scenario, the SAP PORTAL has a 100 second time-out, but the Business Objects platform where the CR4E content is hosted has a 600 second time-out for "View on Demand" reporting.
    When the SAP PORTAL opens the iView connection, it is opening the CR4E content in a frame on the Portal. Prompts are entered - and the RPT execution begins on the BOE platform.
    There is a "spinning-wheel" displayed from the BOE platform, and if run in BO LaunchPad it could run for up to 600 seconds before a time-out occured.
    When it is presented in SAP PORTAL via iView connection - does that "spinning-wheel" from BOE Platform provide enough of a "heartbeat" to let the PORTAL know not to drop the connection at 100 seconds....?
    My reasoning is that SAP PORTAL should be opening the BOE content with the same rules that apply when the report is opening in the BO LaunchPad.
    We are going to create a "SLOW" report in CR4E (*Lots of charts & sub-reports) to test/compare LaunchPad and Portal display of the same report.

  • Sync Mail Account Settings

    Hi All,
    I have two machines:
    MacPro OS 10.7.2
    MacBookPro OS 10.7.2
    I am using iCloud to sync info between them. 
    Me.com used to allow you to syncronize mail account settings, and iCloud does not, so I have two questions:
    1. Is there anyway to sync mail account settings between two computers?
    2. If not, can you export a file that contains the settings from one computer to import it into another?

    Thanks for your response.
    You don't mention whether you are looking in iTunes or Finder. However, it does not really matter: either way I do not see emails as a sync option.
    Under Finder, my iPad is not showing as a separate device.
    Under iTunes under Devices, when I click on my iPad, I see lots of tabs (Summary, Info, Apps, Movies, Music, TV Shows, Podcasts, iTunesU, Books and Photos) but no Mail.
    I ended up creating each Mail account individually, so this issue is not really resolved but I found a workaround.

  • I can't sync my AE settings

    I just discovered that I can't sync my AE settings, and found this thread. I did install the 13.0.1 update at the time, and now I'm on 13.0.2. Uninstalling and reinstalling 13.0.2 did not solve the problem. When I hit the Sync Settings Now button absolutely nothing happens, no dialog box or error message of any kind. Any suggestions?

    Sync Settings only work within a specific version. What you need to do is to migrate the settings to 13.2 from 13.0. The way that you do that is you delete the entire 13.2 preferences folder before starting After Effects; when After Effects 13.2 starts and sees that there is a 13.0 preferences folder but no 13.2 preferences folder, it will ask you if you want to migrate your settings. Then you can use Sync Settings within After Effects 13.2.

  • SC item: Delivery date and Time Frame

    Would like to know how the Delivery Date and TimeFrame fields are defaulted in a SC.
    When a service item is selected from the catalogue the time frame is activated by default. But when i use "Describe Requirement" and assign a service Product category to it I do not get the option for a time frame. Would like to know from where this defualted or if there is any settings for the same.

    in SRM 5.0 the delivery date is defaulted for the non catalog SC in the include LBBP_SC_APPF33 (in our system at the line 66):
    cs_global-deliv_date = sy-datlo.
    cs_global-del_datcat = gc_deliv_day.
    however you have the possibility to override this default date via the BAdI BBP_CHANGE_DEFAULT.

  • Freeze frame "settings" button missing in PRE8

    After determing a frame to produce a still image from, I select the freeze frame function followed by the "Export..." button. This action opens the export frame window where in PRE v7 I had the "setting" buttons to use if required. This button is not available in PRE8! I used this settings button to correct the aspect ratio when required for a still image.
    Has this function been removed in PRE8? If so, how do you correct the aspect ratio for a still image? Or if this function button is available, how do I get it to appear?
    (I also note that "Export" in File > Export where I can access freeze frame settings in PRE7 is NOT active i.e. not available in PRE8. I think this is the same issue??)

    Though I am anything but a "big button guy," I would like to see the Export>Still Frame (regardless of from whence it's accessed) be simplified in both Adobe programs, PrE and PrPro. When PrPro CS4 was introduced, they took a simple process and reworked it. Then, it took 8 steps, just to do a Still Frame! With CS 4.2, things got better, but they forgot to add back in the "Add to Project" setting from earlier versions. About half the time, I do this. With a checkbox, that was easy. Half the time, I left it checked, and the other half, I unchecked it. Now, in PrPro CS4.2, it takes about 3 more steps to add the Exported Still Frame to the Project.
    What I would like would be a single button, and the ability to establish a default Preset, especially a custom one. The only dialog would be, "Add to Project?" and it would be a simple radio button. Maybe even allow the user to customize that in their custom default, with a potential override available, if needed. I'd do this for both PrE and PrPro. It would take moments to set up, and then would be just a click away.

    Unfortunately, iOS 7 is too hard to push for the iPhone 4 and therefore has a lot of effects turned off to try to get it to run as smoothly as possible.
    However, it becomes better and better with each update coming but it's hard to do anything about the hardware on an already released phones.
    If you still have trouble or think they are too hard. My tip is, if so, to restore your iPhone 4 and make a clean setup with no iCloud backup. But all your photos in a photostream so you can access it later.

    Sounds like you are a bit confused with version numbers.
    Latest AirPort Utility version for the iPhone / iPad is 1.3.3.  There is no option or capability to export/import settings on the iOS version(s) of AirPort Utility.....although you could take a series of screen shots and save them for future reference.
    AirPort Utility 6.3.x is found on a Mac.....not on iPhone / iPad. Export and Import options are found under the File menu in 6.3.x.

    To confirm connectivity to the device doing the SNMP polls I would like to execute a ping every 10 seconds in the same timeframe.
    Cron seems only to support minutes. Is it possible to combine a watchdog timer + a cron timer?
    Can this ping function be incorporated in the SNMP output applet or will I have to write a new one?
    Will I need TCL here (I have no experience in TCL)?

    If you wanted the pings to run in parallel, you could have this applet configure another applet to do the pinging, then remove it on the last run.  This will require an amount of programmatic logic, though.  If you wanted to keep things a bit simpler, add another applet that runs at 22:00 that configures a watchdog pinging applet, then a third applet that runs at 22:10 that removes the pinging applet.
    When it comes to embedded quotes when you configure your nested pinging applet, you'll need to use $q to stand for the embedded quotes.  You'll also need to configure:
    event manager environment q "

    Eg we have an issue in which Process Lockboxes concurrent Program is submitted by the batch user and is also by the Users manually from Front end .What I want is that during a particular time frame everyday say from 12:00 AM to 6 PM I want to restrict manual users to submit this program ,whereas the Program can be submitted by the Batch user any time  .

    After formatting the partition and installing Firefox again, I wanted to get my settings, bookmarks etc. back by syncronising with Firefox Sync but accidentaly settings from a fresh browser was uploaded and now I cannot have the browser the way I used to have. Is there any way to reverse this changes?

    First check that you still have data in your sync account.
    Firefox button > Options > Sync > Manage Account
    It should tell you how much data is stored in the account. Is there any?
    If there is still data in the sync account then you can follow the instructions in this article [[What is Firefox Sync?]]. Refer to the 'How much of my data is synced?' section. Change the option to 'Replace all data on this computer with my Sync data'.
    I hope that works for you.
    If there is no data in your sync account you will be able to get it back by syncing from another computer. Just make sure that the settings on that computer are not replaced by the blank account again. You can use the 'Replace all other devices with this computer's data' option to prevent this.
    Please note that Firefox Sync is designed only to sync details between devices not as an online backup tool. If you are formatting a partition it is generally best to backup your profile folder along with any other data. See [[Managing profiles]] for more detail.

    Yes, if the USB drive has been previously formatted correctly in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format.

    Click the Disks tab below the icon
    Click Archive
    Allow plenty of time for the copy process to occur. You will not be able to make Time Machine backups from your Mac until the Archive process has completed.

I have both read and write access to the drive, when mounted as a an SMB volume and while connect to the network via Wifi. However, when opening time machine settings and trying to select the backup volume, the network drive doesn't show up.
    What's wrong?

    Time Machine cannot backup to a SMB network volume.
    Time Machine may also have problems backing up to AFP volumes on some network attached storage devices (NAS).
