System calculator and calendar in java!!!

Hello to everyone! I'm new to Java ! Is it possible to include the system calculator and the system calendar in a Java application??I mean if i push the calendar button, Java opens the system calendar or the same thing with calculator??can anybodu help me??

HT3211 sliding fingers right used to bring up calculator and calendar

sliding fingers right used to bring up calculator and callendar, now it brings up something else (a mini google search tool comes up). any ideas on how to get it back or to choose what happens when you swipe a finger to the right?

I'm operating the new MacBook Pro-Retina and it brings up dashboard stuff. I have 2 suggestions
1. Open system preferences see if the gestures have been changed
2. Edit the widgets located within the dashboard. I know there is a mini-google widget. It's possible yours were edited and the calculator, etc. got deleted.

External tax system calculation and FTXP -% not considered .

We are using taxware for us sales and use tax calculation . we have requirement where we need to accrue less tax during purchase of materilas that are used in manufacturing in CA . the product code kind of configuration is ruled out as business does not want .
So created a new input tax code in FTXP where in maintained the XP1I as 50 % and the rest of the condiitons as 100% .
created PO with the new Tax code and the rate from the taxware pulled in for 100% for XP1I and not for 50% as in the configuration .
Please let me know if i am missing any configuration ?

Get system variable and execute a Java Script

question. I'm using Captivate 2 without LMS.
I need to execute a java script that take read a system
variable (eg. USERNAME) and opens an URL using the USERNAMe as
parameter. The idea here is to update a database opening a specific
URL for a specific USERNAME.

There might be some other dependencies from other commons stuff that you will need to resolve to run it.
Once you have that, presumably you are not telnetting back to the source of the applet. If so you will need to deal with security for the applet. Usually that means that you must sign the applet. Otherwise you will have to modify the policy file on each client machine that will run the applet.

Hyper-V for hospital information system, calculation and requirements?

This is my first post here, i am a technical support and developer for one of hospital information system, because its application for healthcare so this application demands performance, reliability and high availability, after a long discussion with my
team, we decided to deploy our application and database on Hyper-V VM's. But the problem is we never deploy this apps in VM's before, we usually deploy on physical server, here are our scenario:
for VM1 : Application server (Windows Server 2012 R2), our application would be optimal serve 100 users running on 1 processor with 6 cores (if deploy on physical server) and 16GB memory.
for VM2 : Database server (SQL Server 2012 R2), usually we use 4 to 6 cores (if deploy on physical server) with 16GB memory.
the questions:
1. Can someone help me with the Hyper-V VM's calculation or configuration regarding computing power for host and guest? like how much vCPU? Dinamyc Memory? (we intended using Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 as hypervisor)
2. What if i want to use fail-over cluster ? does our fail-over must be on VM's too?
3. For SQL Server on VM, which one more impact on performance, assign a lot of vCPU or memory?
4. Can someone suggest me the hardware requirements for those scenarios?

Without knowing the exact performance characteristics of the applications, it is really difficult to provide any information about the effects of oversubscribing the CPUs or memory. So, just look at it as though it were a physical deployment.

Many servers you purchase today will come with two processors and 8 cores (forget about simultaneous multithreading at this point) giving you a total of 16 logical CPUs. Create your VM with 6 virtual CPUs and 16 GB of memory for Application 1.
Configure your SQL VM similarly. I don't know what issues might arise with Application 1 with dynamic memory, but SQL performs best without it. Most servers today will have at least 64 GB of memory. With the above configuration, you have
plenty of headroom on a pretty average server.

With Failover Clusters, you cluster the Hyper-V role. This means that the VMs will fail back and forth. Remember, though, this is at the VM level and not at the application level, meaning that if Hyper-V host 1 fails, the VMs restart on Hyper-V
host 2. Now, it is possible to also create failover clusters between VMs. This is quite common with SQL. When clustering VMs, you would need to install VMs on each node of the Hyper-V cluster. Then if Hyper-V host 1 fails, there is
an instance of SQL running on host 2 ready to take over. The recovery time is much shorter. You will have to ask the vendor of Application 1 if it is a cluster-aware application.

Without more information, that is pretty hard to answer. Generally memory helps first, but depending on the types of query/update activity, multiple CPUs is also helpful. Start at 4 and monitor to see if more would help.

i had the same issue recently. user melisolaris posted this and solved my problem:
1. Force quit iCal and Reminders.
2. On your computer, unlink Calendars and Reminders from iCloud:
> System Preferences > iCloud > Uncheck Calendars AND Reminders
(I did this because my Reminders uses my Calenders; I set deadlines for reminders, etc. Also, because my reminders weren't syncing with my iCloud as they should.)
3. It'll ask if you want to delete the calendar and reminder events from your computer. Say yes because you should already have the most up-to-date copy on your iCloud.
4. Open iCal. It should no longer display the "moving calendars to server account" message.
5. Add your iCloud account to iCal.
> Calendar > Add Account... > iCloud > Sign in with Apple ID and PW
6. Give it a minute to update. You should see all your iCloud calendar events with no error message.
7. Quit iCal. Open Reminders.
8. Add your iCloud account to Reminders.
> Reminders > Add Account... > iCloud > Sign in with Apple ID and PW
9. Test the two programs by adding test events and reminders to see if they show up on your iPhone and your Macbook.

OS Installer Packages do not point to "images". They point to the complete set of source files including the directory structure from the media.
Is there a specific reason you are using OS Installer packages though? In general, there is no reason to use them anymore (unless you are actually still deploying XP).

What is your OS? You can use SAPCCMSR.exe to monitoring IT Reporting Java system on Solman.
Go to solman rz21 create a csmreg user. and configuration fil for agent. copy configuration fil on usr/sap/ccms/..
Go to comman line cd ../user/sap/xxx/sys/exe/.../ wite SAPCCMSR.00 -R pf=< ...../sys/profile/instans profile> .
You can se agent on rz10 and use this connaction on rz20 to monitoring and IT Reporting Java system on Solman.

Convert Calendar to Java.sql.Date

I seached for a solution for converting a Calendar-object to a java.sql.date for inserting it into a MySQL DB (DateTime). I know this question is a FAQ. The solution I found is the following code:
java.sql.Date sqlDate = new java.sql.Date(cal.getTime().getTime() );When i do a print of the sqlDate to the console I get: sqlDate: 2005-06-27
But when I look into de DB I get the following date: 27/05/1905
I know that in Java the months are starting from 0-�11 and that the years counting is starting from 1900. But I assume that the solution is not to just add the correct month and year manually. because I get a correct console-output. If I do this I get a correct DB Date, but a wrong console-date.

II dont know if you found an answer but I needed a similar solution so I wrote a test program.

System.currentTimeMillis() -- current date represented as number of milliseconds after/before Jan 1, 1970
java.util.Date -- object that encapsulates date, when constructor called without arguments then it's current date. Note that almost all methods of this class are deprecated while it was designed only for Grigorian calendar. To get specific day/month/year from java.util.Date use java.util.Calendar.

Calculating and displaying the Length of the side of a triangle

Hi everyone. I am currently working on Dragging and Stretching a triangle on screen. Ive got it working to a certain extent but the only problem is that whenever I go to the point from which i have to drag my triangle i.e. the Left hand Corner of the BAse at exactly 300,300 it redraws a new triangle below the existing one and then when i stretch it from the top and the right it leaves a trail of triangles everytime. But when i resize my window it clears the trail only to start agian when I drag or stretch it...
All my code for wahtever I have done is displayed below. I would appreciate all the help that any one can offer.
Secondly , as I stretch my triangle I would like to calculate My Length of the hypotenuse and the other 2 sides as they change and display it in System.out.println for now...

Hey sorry mate.. ive got a nother problem.
I need to add loads of theorems to this tool. so i need a JMenu Bar called File with all the normal things. then another Menu called Theorems where i can have a list of JMenuItems with the theorem names --- Like when they click on Pythagoras Theorem it opens up all the triangle and the traingle data that u helped me with.
The thing is im using netbeans and in netbeans i can do it coz its there and all you got to do is put the components together.
