R/3 source system creation error(Idoc is missing)
Hi expert's.
i have created an r/3 source system in BI 7. but it's showing error when i am activating it.
error as follows.
1. Basic type ZSMA087 does not exist EA 447
2. Incorrect IDoc type ZSDF085 in the ALE definition of the source system RSAR 373
for the above error 1 i checked in the RSBASIDOC table. it showing the idoc type. when i am checked with the source system that is r/3 system in the partner profile for logical system. it's showing the incorrect idoc type in RSSEND outbound parameters for that logical system
when i am changed that idoc type it's showing error as follows.
"entry RSSEND zsma087 does not exit in edimsg.
after that i checked with this table edimsg. for the rssend outbound option it's won't have the idoc type zsma087. table edit is also not possible on that.
so please help me to solve the issue.
regards
Harikrishna NHi Hari,

System Requirements Error For Adobe CS3 Installation?
When I try to install Adobe CS3 Design Premium on my iMac (Intel Based) I get an error message while clicking on the setup icon. This is the message:
"System Requirements Error
This software cannot be installed because the file
system of the OS volume is not supported."
I checked the Adobe website and my computer meets all the requirements and I have the most update version of Mac Os X.
Where might I find the file system of my OS? And why doesn't it work with Adobe?Greetings,
Is it possible that you have a copy that is made for Windows OS. Even though it's an Intel chip, unless you have a copy of Adobe made for Mac OS, it won't work.
I've run in to this before, that's why I mentioned it. I have Adobe CS3, all of the CS3 products, loaded on my Macs, and it is Leopard 10.5.5.
Cheers,

Managed System Configuration Error for MDM 7.1 SP09
Greetings, Needed your expert advise. We are getting an error while configuring our MDM Servers (Version 7.1.08.196) in Solution Manager. As suggested in SAP Note 1798643 , I have manually filled the required details and transferred through sldreg.exe to SLD. Now when i try to perform Managed System Configuration, it is throwing the below error. The definition of Technical System '~MDM' is not correct: '~MDM': No Path found in Installed Technical System 'SID~MDM~'. I'm not sure how to manually update the Install Path for our MDM Servers. Since, the data to LMDB is automatically supplied, I might not be able to manually edit anything. Could you please advise if there is any step to solve this issue. Thanks, Haseeb Ahmed.
Dear ,
Haseeb,
I had the exact same problem with MDM managed system setup . I was on MDM 7.1 SP10.
1940337 - RCA template for Solution Manager 7.10 SP10
This note should resolve your problem. This note has the updated template for MDM.
It did for mine
Thanks

UWL system creation error?
Hi,
I'm trying to setup UWL configuration for ESS/MSS. During minimal configuration of UWL setup, I'm assigning one of the system alias which is connecting to the R3 system using SAPLogonTicket method. We got same uid maintained in portal and ECC6.
I defined UWL system and when I clicked on Register button, I get below message
(Connector) :com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.connect.ConnectorException:
(Connector) :com.sap.portal.connectivity.destinations.PortalDestinationsServiceException:User is missing credentials for connecting to alias UWL_System. Contact your system administrator.
OK, then I wanted to test the connection of system object that is used by UWL. WebAS, ITS connection tests are successfully, but "Test connection with connector" failed with below error
Test Connection with Connector
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Retrieve the default alias of the system
2. Check the connection to the backend application using the connector defined in this system object
Results
Retrieval of default alias successful
Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly
As suggested in this thread which was posted by me sometime ago
Standard UWL configuration error?
I tried to use System Administrator >> Support >> SAP Transaction >> choose the system aliase that is used for UWL and entered SU01 tcode, it pops with windows for UID/PWD, why is this happening even when all the parameters are correctly defined in System object?
Thanks
PraveenHi Geet,
I still have no luck. I tried exactly what you said and followed all notes. Here are the steps that I followed and error message
1) UWL_Service user didn't exist in the R3, so created and assigned roles that are required as you mentioned and as mentioned in note 873932, 1109225, 1133821, 1171615.
2) Set up RFC destination in Visual admin and binded to the UWL_Service user for system_alias$WebFlowConnector. In my case the system alise is SAP_ECC_HumanResources.
3) Restarted the server.
4) Configured new UWL system with SAP_ECC_HumanResources system alise. Click register button I got below error
Error in retrieving logical system id for system SAP_ECC_HumanResources:
com.sap.portal.connectivity.destinations.PortalDestinationsServiceException: User is missing credentials for connecting to alias SAP_ECC_HumanResources. Contact your system administrator.

Hi,
I am using EP 7.1,NW04S.
I am trying to create a system .For that here I followed the navigation like
System administrationSystem confi syatem Landscape NewSystem(from templates)selected SAP system using dedicated application serverNextsystem namesystem id
So, system is created. But once I am testing the connectivity from back end it is given error like
Test Connection with Connector
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Retrieve the default alias of the system
2. Check the connection to the backend application using the connector defined in this system object
Results
Could not retrieve default alias. Make sure the system object has at least one alias.
How to resolve this error to get the connection successfully?
Thanks,
KundanHi,
you will find system alias in the DISPLAY dropdown that is located right side of your buttons.
Click on Display > select system alias -> click on new -> give some name -> click on Add -> and click on save.
refer the below link also
[http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/HowtoCreateSystemObjectinthePortalforConnectingtoSAPBackend+Systems]
check this link also. you can find where exactly to create alias

Check whether all the required DC's are there in track or not. first create independent DC and then move to other.

Slow I/O, System.log errors for XSR
Hello,
Got a strange problem. For the past few weeks we have been experiencing outstandingly slow I/O from our Xserve G5 to our Xserve RAID. The box periodically reboots itself (no info in system.log re: it), and we consistently see (while doing i/o ops) this error in system.log:
Nov 28 07:28:44 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x4a
Nov 28 07:29:15 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x2a
Nov 28 07:29:15 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x7e
Nov 28 07:30:01 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x82
Nov 28 07:33:45 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x66
Nov 28 07:33:45 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x59
Nov 28 07:33:45 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x64
Nov 28 07:33:45 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x51
Nov 28 07:33:45 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x95
Nov 28 07:34:28 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x52
Nov 28 07:34:28 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x31
Nov 28 07:41:17 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x55
Nov 28 07:46:22 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x3f
Nov 28 07:46:22 xserve kernel: FusionMPT: FindTaskForControllerIdentifier() failed, targetID = 256, context = 0x37
The box is Mac OS X Server 10.3.9 with 2 disks as a software RAID -- they appear fine and are humming along just fine. The XSR has 7 disks in a RAID 5 (1.4 TB) and a reformat has not resolved the issues.
Has anyone had this issue before, or have a clue what it may be?RAID firmware is?

System variable name for email field.
Hi
Can anyone give me the system name for the email field,
eg username is &APP_USER.
Thanks
FionaFiona - John's suggestion is to use a PL/SQL API call to get the email_address attribute from the wwv_flow_users record for a user account. There is no corresponding substitution string but you could create an item in your application and set it using this API. Keep in mind that this applies only to APEX user accounts, i.e., if you're using other authentication methods such as LDAP, SSO, Database Account, or custom tables, then the email_address will not be accessible using the API.

While saving a PO, it gives error "Maintain Pricing condition in Info record" but already info record is maintained for the said vendor and material code used in PO.
For the same inforecord other POs were already created in the past without any error.
Can any one suggest what may be the reason?
Thanks in advance.

RatnaHI,
Have u maintain Condition for Price as as P000.......
if yes, go to condition type in SPRO and maintain Access sequence 0002 and also maintain your pricing procedure...
and check that Procedure maintain that condition or not.
