System dialog? black text box in the screen?

How do I close this program, it was opened by accident. it's a black text box that is telling me everything I type, point or click on....it's REALLY annoying!

System Preferences -> Universal Access -> Seeing tab -> turn Voiceover off

I'm not quite sure what it is you're seeing, but if it's a Terminal window (click on the window and see if you see the "Terminal" menu at the very top left of the screen) you can close it just like any other application - go to the Terminal menu and click "Quit Terminal".
If that's not it, it's possible you're seeing a Voiceover border - go to System Preferences, Universal Access, click Voiceover and turn it off if it's on.

Creating radio buttons and text box in the screen

Hi Guys,
Need help asap. I am writing a report and I have to create text box for user to input GL account numbers for two types of customer. I have to make these fields required and take the data back from the screen and write it in a file. The second thing that I have to do is to make radio buttons for the user to select whether he wants the file written on the application server or the presentation server. and process the report accordingly. Now can somebody please given some code and tell me how I should do this. Both the things have to be done for the same report. Please help.

I am making a selection screen report in which i want to disable the text box , when i am selecting a particular radio button.

if u want to disable the text box on the screen, u need to use the screen table.
see. All fields of the current screen are stored in the system table SCREEN with their attributes.
so when u click on the any element of the screen the sceen table is looped through.
use the following code in at selection screen output .
put the name of the text box in the
ex:
LOOP AT SCREEN.
IF SCREEN-NAME = <FIRST RADIO BUTTON>
(IF p_r1 = 'X'. say p_r1 is your radio button name)
LOOP AT SCREEN.
IF SCREEN-NAME = <text box>
SCREEN-INPUT = OFF.
MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.

Brand New iPad 3 has a jiggly screen and black boxes across the screen in different apps

My mother purchased a brand new iPad 3 about 1 week ago. The screen has begun to shake while she is in the apps. (This is not the shaking that icons do on when you hold an app down so you can rearrange.) When this happens the screen will go blank when her hand is near it and reappear when she moves it away. Also, in some apps, I have experienced this in the App Store and Facebook, black boxes cover the screen so that you cannot see what is behind them.
We have tried shutting it down completely, but that doesn't seem to be a fix.
I have been searching for others with this problem and haven't found any. Help would be appreciated. Given the sporadic nature (but often enough to be a bother), I'm hesitant to go to the Genius Bar for fear it wouldn't do it then.

I've had the same problem with Big Black squares covering the screen. And a few times the screen has split vertical in the middle and pushed everything in the on half a little down, making it very difficult to read text as the lines was cut in half.
I first experienced it in Mail, and then in Safari. I noticed that it is only covering content, not the App bar and When I scrolled down, the boxes were staying On the spot On the page. I figure it must be a software problem as it moves alting with the rest of the content, so I tried uenig Chrome instead, but yesterday the same ting happened.
I have tryed to take a screen dump, but it gets completely black
Its not warm When the problem occours.
Anyone with a solution?

How to I center a dialog box in the screen?

Simple question, and I hope a simple answer.
I need to center various sized dialog boxes in the screen.
I've tried getcenterpoint(), but I don't know EXACTLY how to use it.

look at the ToolKit class. there's a method which returns the size of the screen. with the size, you can calculate and use the setLocation() method to center your dialog box.
you can also use the setLocationRelativeTo() method of the Window class. (JDialog inherits the method from Window)

Try to use the [Position|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/9f/dba7e235c111d1829f0000e829fbfe/frameset.htm] option of selection screen.
By using this you can place the text as a comment at a desired position on the selection screen.
The syntax would be like this :
SELECTION-SCREEN POSITION <pos>.

How do I write a title in X? (I don't see a text box in the Inspector)

I'm having trouble writing titles in X. I dont' see a text box where the online advice says I should. All I see is how to change the font, size etc

First select the title you have connected to the clip:
Before selecting the clip, there is 'nothing to inspect' shown in the inspector window. But after selecting the title:
you will find the data on the inspector window.
Next place your cursor on the empty box that shows up in the viewer and double click. As I had already entered my text, I placed my cursor on the green colored text 'exercise' and double clicked on it:
When you double click, the box gets highlighted and at the same time you will also have the dialog box opened up in the inspector window. You can add text either in the viewer or in the inspector window.

Changing a PDF with a text box, and then flatten the text box onto the underlying PDF before sending the document out.

I download PDF documents from municipalities, often and from numerous municipalities.
They have a scanned image of a form that I need to fill out,
I enter my contact info as a text box onto the form, along with other information,
but when I save the document, there seems no way to flatten the fields so that the person I send the document to has a true PDF and cannot change the document.
They could delete one of the text boxes or change the text in the box (by mistake),
which could case some major complications.
How do I flatten the document, so I can send it back to the municipalities as a PDF that cannot be changed.
I am using Acrobat X Pro, on windows XP machine

I doubt you could fix this. Generally a "garbled" file is considered unusable for copying, and that's that. If a PDF uses random mappings instead of standard ones it looks fine on screen, but text extraction is impossible.
Short of converting every page to bitmap and OCRing again.

Hi,
You mean to say parameter in selection screen
Just press F1 on parameter you will get all the option available for the parameter
for defaulting text just give your text in DEFAULT option for the parametr
And for disabling this checkbox you can explore the LOOP AT SCREEN concept
In at selection screen output event you can modify the selection screen.just give one modif id for your
paramete and use this at selection screen output event , loop at screen and modify screen with the screen input = 0
for ur parameter.
