System downtime web message

There are a few nodes being load balanced by Cisco CSS here. When all of these nodes need to be subject to whole system downtime, I'd like to provide an informative webpage to notify end-users that the system will be under maintenance for a few hours.
BigIP has failover pool capability, how to do the same thing in Cisco CSS?

I noticed that messages sent from iMessaging do not show up on my Web Messaging app. They show up on my iPhone texts but not on my Web Messaging. Why???

Where is this Web Messaging app through? Are you referring to the Integrated Messaging offered by Verizon Wireless? If so, the messages are functioning as designed. The messages sent as iMessages are sent through the data connection and Apple's servers. They don't go through the same VZW system as regular text messages that would show up in the Integrated Messaging.

Technical System of Web AS ABAP

hi all,
i have following doubts when creating technical system of web as ABAP type.
1)when creating techincal system it is asking me for
' Message Port (sapmsXXX): '. what should i enter for this field and wheredo i get the details from. by default it is taking 3600 is it ok if i go ahead with 3600.
2) logical system name .it appears it is optional but should i fill this entry as well.
3) After creating the technical system. do i need to fill TMS Domain and TMS Transport Group Name. if yes how do i need to fill and and what is the use of this field.
can some one suggest me a blog for Technical System creation for web as abap type.

Web messages (for customizing BI Pres Svc) and setting default suppression

Can anyone say if the complete list of web message tags is documented anywhere (other than just looking at the XML files)?
In particular, I want to set the default for column value suppression -- I want to change this default from suppress to repeat.
I found the following in formattemplates.xml:

Nothing in here looks like it actually sets the meaning of "default". Can anyone tell me how to set this to mean "repeat" instead of "suppress"?
I thought perhaps the first one became the default, but switching the "repeat" and "suppress" values and associated labels and images did not help.

The problem was the domain stucture. Portal Server and connected systems must have the same number of dots in the URL(!!) and must be in the same domain:
portal.xyz.com and
bw.xyz.com

As Kyle said in the last message, you can find the information you wanted in the SAP Help Portal.
I have some experience on using the WebDAV and want to share with you. There is some bugs in WebDAV on renaming the document / folder for non-English language. So, don't use WebDAV for renaming file / folder under such environment. If you want to do so, you should better do so in the EP.

In the Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ folder delete the following:
com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
NetworkInterfaces.plist
preferences.plist
com.apple.nat.plist
You will have to re-configure all your network settings since deleting.

this walk through is targeting Visual C# project system. I need to create the Custom project system as Web project and set the start up page as index.html file. How can I achieve this?
Note:

But it demonstrate the Custom console applications only.

So you didn't even follow this walkthrough yet? If you did, how did you do it?
I failed to create such a web project system because I finally messed up my VS experimental instance. But it's possible to create a custom web project system, by following this walkthrough. Someone else has successfully made it, check this
link.
The difference is that you have to use web project type instead of the console application project type. You could copy a web project's .csproj file into the VSPackage project and rename it to xxx.myproj. There's an error in the walkthrough that the AssemblyInfo.cs
file should be put into Properties folder and set the "Build Action" property to Content, "Include in VSIX" to true.

System Error in Message Monitoring while it shows checked flag in SXMB_MONI

We are working on ABAP Proxy --> SAP PI 7.1 --> SOAP (Asynchronous Scenario).
(ECC -> PI -> Legacy CRM)
I have following queries:
1. While sending messge across to Legacy system, we can see CHECKED flag in SXMB_MONI but there is System Error in Message Monitoring. When checked legacy system is unable to receive any message. Cannot understand the issue.
2. Is there any way to check in PI system whether the message has reached Legacy System other than making scneario synchronous?

But since the file name is Dynamic....How will i call the file at run time in Command Line:

How will i specify the file name in the above syntax as the file name is Dynamic and not constatnt.

Hello Seeta,
let me see if I give it using a simple scenario that I implamented : i nedd to transfer a very large file from one server to the other by XI.
to save space and network traffic I use an OS command before picking up the file to run a zip command to zip the file.
after I transfer the file to the target server I run another OS command after the transfer to unzip the file.
now to your second question:
the before Os command on the target server is used mostly for checks (make sure there isn't a file by that name or backing up existing data)
and the after sender OS command is usualy for backing up or erasing existing files (cause it is done only after the first part was finished succesfully).

Especially the last 2 parameters are mandatory. TDS_Version specifies the TDS Version you have to use to connect to the SQL Server and QuotedID is required for DG4ODBC as it surrounds objevt names by double quotes.
What happens now when you try to connect with for example isql - the ODBC test utility shipped with the ODBC Driver manager?
In addition, could you please do me another favour and check the word size of DG4ODBC and the ODBC Driver Manager as well as the ODBC Driver - just execute:

Now i Deleted that and Executed RZ70 in R/3.
When I Executed RZ70, I got this Error.

i'm try to created public database link :

when i used tnsping

yes i've downloaded the ODBC driver manager..
for HS_FDS_SHAREABLE_NAME i use /usr/lib/psqlodbc.so
and i get this error when i call the db link(orpos)
ERROR at line 1:

about PostGres ODBC did you mean postgresql-odbc-08.04.0200-1.el6.x86_64 ??

System Error During Message Mapping

I've set up a simple mapping scenario that sends a DEBMAS06 IDoc from our R/3 system to XI mapping to DEBMAS06 and writing out to a file. I am getting the following system error during message mapping:
<SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category>
<SAP:Code area="MAPPING">JCO_SYSTEM_FAILURE</SAP:Code>
<SAP:P1>Server repository could not create function template for 'SMPP_CALL_JAVA_RUNTIME</SAP:P1>
I have gone back to the Design Builder and tested out the message mapping and the interface mapping and both work successfully. I have also taken the payload of the message and submitted it via the RWB and it generates the same error as when sent from R/3. Any other places I can look?

Hi Mike,
You have got the connectivity issue problem between ABAP and J2EE stack. When do the test in the Message Mapping, thats the J2EE and it works. But during the runtime it has to go to the Integratin Server, which is the ABAP stack. Fix the connectivity issue, check the smicm,trace and debug log etc.
