System Fail Error  for Product categories  download

Hi All,
  I am workin on SRM 4.0.We have started the initial Load for product categories but unable to load the  material groups from the backend as  prod  catgories in SRM.
  When I activate the Queue in SMQ2,it shows the status "System Fail" with the message " Hierarchy(with some  ID)  does  not exist ".What  could be the reason for the unsuccesful download?Please help.

Hello Disha,
As Bertrand (and Vadim) said, you have to maintain this customizing point...
But if you read the linked documentation, it says that the system should assign the hierarchy automatically:
"When system settings for materials and services are replicated from the ERP system ,the relevant hierarchy is assigned to the corresponding application automatically. In this case, the assignment need not and should not be changed.
If you are not going to replicate data from the ERP system you must have created the hierarchy you want to assign to the application."
Maybe you first need to create a root hierarchy, assign it to purchasing area, and then the replication will add a "R3MATCLASS" sub node in your hierarchy.
Make few tests as described and tell us.

    Adding to the above if you
    Once you maintain the account determination group for product categories in the fine-tune activity "Edit default account determination group for product categories'
    You need to Go to fine tune activity 'Chart of Accounts,Financial reporting structure, account determination'.
    IF the account group maintained is for 'SERVICE'
    then select Sub-ledger 'COST' then maintain the account determination group and corresponding General Ledger account to it.
    If the account group is 'MATERIAL' then you need to go to Subledger 'INVENTORIES' and add account group and GL account for it.

  • Ink system failed Error:Oxc1​8a0101 on photosmart D7160

    Changed the ink cartridges and got Ink system failure.  Unable to print.  Error: Oxc18a0101 Printer not that old and not used that much.  Turned power off then on again did not help.  Unplugged power and USB also did not help. Looking for help!!!

    *** Fix your HP Photosmart D7360 (Reset Code/Master Reset) ***
    1- Turn off power and unplug from power source.
    2- Open right side of printer (looking at the front).
    3- Disconnect,by pulling gently, both white flat ribbon cables off the main circuit board.
    4- Plug in power source and turn printer on. Wait till you get a error message and push "Ok".
    5- Unplug power source.
    6- Reconnect the flat ribbon cables by aligning and carefully pushing into the conectors on the main circuit board.
    7- Plug in power source and turn printer on (Printer preparing occurred).
    8- voila, the nasty error message 0xc18a0001 "Ink System has Failed" is now gone.

  • Query engine failed error for crytal report refreshing to new params in jsp

    Using licensed weblogic 8.1 server in production mode. Weblogic workhsop has inetegrated supprot for crystal reports 9. Using standalone report & accessing sql server through odbc, i got result for different parameters passed.
              Problem Area : Passing parameter to have specific report causes unexpected query engine failed error in com.crystaldecisions.report.web.viewer.CrystalViewer class. If viewer.refresh method is commented, then static (already saved) report is displayed through jsp. But using viewer.refresh method for dynamic report genertaion for new parameters through jsp gives above error.

  • System Requirements Error For Adobe CS3 Installation?

    When I try to install Adobe CS3 Design Premium on my iMac (Intel Based) I get an error message while clicking on the setup icon. This is the message:
    "System Requirements Error
    This software cannot be installed because the file
    system of the OS volume is not supported."
    I checked the Adobe website and my computer meets all the requirements and I have the most update version of Mac Os X.
    Where might I find the file system of my OS? And why doesn't it work with Adobe?

    Is it possible that you have a copy that is made for Windows OS. Even though it's an Intel chip, unless you have a copy of Adobe made for Mac OS, it won't work.
    I've run in to this before, that's why I mentioned it. I have Adobe CS3, all of the CS3 products, loaded on my Macs, and it is Leopard 10.5.5.

  • BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE throws Valuation Type error for Production Ord and Mvt Type: 101

    Hi,
    I am trying to post a Material Document for a Production order through BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. To the 'AFS_GOODSMVT_SKU' table of the BAPI, the sizes in the production order item are passed and to the 'GOODSMVT_ITEM' table, the respective line for each size is passed.
    Lets say the production order has size 1 (with valuation type: 01 in Material) and size 2 (with valuation type 02 in Material). Inside the BAPI standard code, there is a comparison between Valuation types in Material and Production order. The Production order valuation type is taken as the first found valuation type passed to the BAPI, so in this case it is '01'. In the above case, for the first line there is no comparison error, later for the second line , when comparison happens between '01' and '02' valuation types, the error: M7043 (Valuation Type 01 differs from Valuation type of batch 02) is thrown.
    However when we do the GR grom MB31, this error is not thrown.
    Can someone please throw some light on how to avoid this error when posting the GR for Production Order via the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE ?

    I have never seen an AFS system and do not know how this works. There are a few OSS notes on AFS and error M7043, but none to this BAPI. I can't tell you whether this is a bug in SAP or in the way you use this BAPI.

  • Middleware Settings for Product Categories

    Hi,
    We are using the CRM middleware to replicate the Product Categories.
    In our case the R/3 backend Mat Groups are defined using the two fields.
    1. Matl grp descr.
    2. mat.grp desc. 2   
    The first one is a general one and the second field is more imporatant for the users in the search.
    But from middleware initial downloads we are only getting the first Description field.
    could some one walk me thru the steps to bring in the Second Mat grp desc. also.

    Hi Manoj,
    This customizing option only lets you which description (short or long) to use in SRM.
    The concatenation of both is not possible via the standard.
    What you could try is to change the mapping module assigned to object DNL_CUST_PROD1 (COM_PRODUCT_PRDCT_PROD1_SAVE) by a specific one, where you can merge both descriptions.
    It is a rather simple function module that you could modify (see FORM t023t).

    I have a Photosmart All in One C7180.  I am getting the Ink System has failed....Error: 0xc05d0281 message.  I have tried all of the suggested solutions to make this go away but it seems to be a hardware failure.  Is this something that can be fixed/replaced or is the printer history?  I don't want to pay for an HP service call if this is not something that can be fixed/replaced.  Thank you for any help

    Greetings, Needed your expert advise. We are getting an error while configuring our MDM Servers (Version 7.1.08.196) in Solution Manager. As suggested in SAP Note  1798643 , I have manually filled the required details and transferred through sldreg.exe to SLD. Now when i try to perform Managed System Configuration, it is throwing the below error. The definition of Technical System '~MDM' is not correct: '~MDM': No Path found in Installed Technical System 'SID~MDM~'. I'm not sure how to manually update the Install Path for our MDM Servers.
