System number used by user

Hi Experts,
If i have the userd i.d., date of the user who has created a material/master recipe/resource, is it possible to find the system number which the user was logged on ?

The migration assistant (PC Windows Vista Premium edition to MAC) has created a new user on the MAC. Unfortunately it is impossible to log the system in using that user: no password accepted. I tried to change the user password but the login result still impossible.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Why are you not storing the login user name into a session variable and store it into your table.

  • Find the number of concurrent users in system at a given time

    Hi All,
We have the ECC system in which we need to set up monitoring alert which should tell the following things.
1.The  number of concurrent users looged  currently in the system.
    2. List of  transaction per hour or user activites with the counts
I want to know whether we have any standard report , function module or tcode through which we can achive this.
A quick response will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Trying to access Lion server remote using multi-user access, but from a legacy Leopard system

Just purchased a mini server running Lion, and got screen sharing working fine from my legacy system (32-bit so Leopard only). However, I would like to run in multi-user mode, so someone can use the Lion system and another person can access their own account, from the older Leopard system, at the same time. Using multi-user rather than screen sharing. But Leopard does not have the option on the Finder/Share Screen command, the pop-up window to select screen sharing or new virtual session. So, is there a way still to run a new virtual session from a remote client running Leopard?  Since the multi-user capability resides on the Lion server, it should be possible, but how, without the pop-up menu?

  • How to analyze the navigation flow in Oracle Portal, Number of unique users, downloads and other estastisticas of use of the Portal and Documents

    Dear
Experts, I have a very exciting demand, the board of a customer.
I need to create an analytical application on Oracle Portal, UCM, Spaces, WebCenter, to inform me which quantitatively pages, url and documents are accessed.
How to analyze the navigation flow in Oracle Portal, Number of unique users, downloads and other estastisticas of use of the Portal and Documents?
I thought I'd create a ods with the data of Content Tracker and Google Analytics, and model the analysis through the BIEE.
I ask, what is the standard solution that is used in these cases?
    Thank you

  • To use the "Users & Groups" preferences pane, System Preferences must quit and reopen.

When I try to access some of the system preferences in Mavericks I get an error pane that states "To use the “Users & Groups” preferences pane, System Preferences must quit and reopen."
Has anybody had this problem and if so what is the fix?

Usually happens if you opened one that was 32-bit. Then, you need to revert back to 64-bit.

  • Require TCode used by user for sap query created through SQ01

    Hi All,
I have number of SAP Query in production that currently are used by different-2 user & created through SQ01
My question is how to know the TCode that used by user for SAP Query.
    Thanks In Advance
    Regards
    San

    Charlie
You did not get the question.
I knew the TCode of the query which I had created using tcode SQ01. user is using this query to see the report
Like I created query named 'order_line_details'. This query is basically to see the order & other details. To use this by user one TCode'zncv_ord_item'  has been created.
So in the system lots of query are available. So i want to know the Tcode for those query that are using by user.
    Thanks in advance

  • Error erase Queries in Query Manager- The query is used with user-define...

    Hello Experts
I have deleted a User Field that had a Formatted Search and now I can not remove it because it is linked according to a UF, the error message is as follows:
"The query is used with user-defined values [Message 952-23]"
There will be a way to resolve this issue???
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Juan,
I have tried this very limited, but the formid, is this a number in your case?
    SELECT * from cshs t0 inner join ouqr t1 on t0.queryid = t1.intrnalkey
    where t1.qname = '[%0]'
Running this query I can get the form id that I need to recreate, but I have a feeling you already know the form id, is this correct?
    - Is there an error when you try to recreate the form id?
    - Will it not let you recreate the same form id because the id is given by the system?
If it is not possible to recreate the form id, please prepare a backup and log a message. Support should be able to correct the entry in table cshs.
    Hope it helps.

  • Creating 500 or 1000 or even greater number of db users....

    Hi ,
I have a huge system consisting of about 2500 tables and 5500 objects(total number including tables).
All these objects are contained in one single data schema - let's say dataschema A.
The requirement is to register almost every move (insert , update , delete , select) each user does.
All end-users (application users) are connected to their specific dataschema and using global synonyms are getting/inserting/updating/deleting rows to the dataschema A.
I haven't built my one auditing system to register everything , but i rely on the Oracle's one.....This would be somehow impossible to do it now as my application (Oracle Forms) consists of about 1500 forms....
    My question is:
Is there any other solution to fullfill my requirement , except using the Oracle Audit system...????
My doubt is if the great number of application users -----> database users(1000 or even greater) will cause a great overhead to performance database....?????
Is there any other solution much 'cheaper' ...????
NOTE: The dataschema will not contain any db object ...
    I use Oracle 10g v.2 RDBMS.
    Thanks , a lot
    Simon

My doubt is if the great number of application users -----> database users(1000 or even greater) will cause a great overhead to performance database....?????My guess is even if you build a custom audit, you will still not be able to avoid the performance issue anyway. So, I suggest you the Oracle Audit way.

    Hi,
Make "Reference number" mandatory in 'Required during document entry segment' in "RE" document type in OBA7 t.code & save.
Set Error message for messages M8-471,M8-108 & M8-462 in t.code: OMRM  & save
So when you do MIRO , you need to enter VENDOR INVOICE NUMBER in Reference number field in MIRO & post document and further more same VENDOR INVOICE NUMBER you can not used in MIRO t.code again, if you do so, system will show error message.

  • Combining APEX help with a frame-like TOC html help system (I used DITA)

    Problem:
The APEX page-oriented help system is bad at helping users find how to do something. I prefer to use a task-oriented help system for that, with a table of contents that users can browse around in. I like the DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) system's topic based help with its ideas of tasks, concepts and references. But, I also like the context-based feel of a page-based help system and the way that the APEX help system automatically aggregates all of the item-based help on a page for you.
    My Solution:
I'm no html genius, so this may be totally wrong, but what I did was to create a task oriented html user guide that also included a page based help TOC entry for each page. I then used iframes in the APEX help page to allow me to have a TOC always showing with links that controlled a content "pane," but still also display the automatically-generated item help for the page help is called from.
    * Downloaded the DITA open toolkit (http://sourceforge.net/projects/dita-ot ), full package distribution and installed using the user guide (http://dita-ot.sourceforge.net/doc/ot-userguide131/xhtml/ )
    * Downloaded and installed XMLmind XML editor free personal edition version ([http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/download.shtml]). I'm not endorsing this thing, but it's free and it works great out of the box for editing DITA files.
    * Created an html user guide by modifying the garage sample that's included with the DITA open toolkit and publishing to xhtml (I also published to pdf2, by the way, to provide a printable user guide for my users to download...one of the nice things about DITA). I set up my files so that they would all be in a topics subfolder, rather than the standard task, concept, and reference folders of the example. I did this so that I wouldn't have to worry about linking to a different folder from APEX (more on that later). I made a concept topic for each page of my application with the filename "Concept_About_page_X.dita," where X is the APEX page number.
    * I run APEX using Oracle Application Server 10g, so I uploaded the files to a subdirectory of their own in the i/ folder on the OAS server. In my case this was APPSERVER_HOME/apache/apache/images/doc/MyAppHelp/
    * The DITA toolkit generates html pages that look for a CSS called commonltr.css, located at the same level as the index.html file. I copied my APEX theme's CSS file to that same place and renamed it commonltr.css (in my case that was APPSERVER_HOME/apache/apache/images/themes/theme_13/theme_V3.css). Now, the proper thing to do would be to configure DITA to point at the real location of the theme's CSS, I guess. But I didn't want to figure out how to do that at this point.
    * Now, in APEX, I deleted all of the page-level help text from my pages, since I had now duplicated this information into the DITA page concept topics. Instead, on each page I put
    * On the help page (the page that you create when you're first setting up Help in APEX, mine is page 50), I added the following iframe tags in the header text of the page: \\      <iframe src="../../i/doc/gradevalhelp/index.html" width="40%" height="50%" align="left"></iframe><iframe name="contentwin" src="../../i/doc/gradevalhelp/topics/Concept_About_page_&REQUEST..html" width="60%" height="50%" align="right"></iframe><br> \\      Note the <br> at the end. I had to put that in to prevent the item level help from printing over my content iframe. Again, someone who knows something about html could probably tell you the right way to do that. The DITA toolkit generates a base tag (<base target="contentwin"/>) in the head section of the index.html file, to make the target of the TOC links be the content frame. Notice how I use it to map the links in the first iframe to the second iframe on the APEX help page, by naming the second frame "contentwin". Notice how the &REQUEST. Substitution string is used to present the proper DITA html file. I also tried setting it up to use a calculated hidden item that looks up the page alias for the requesting page; this had the advantage of allowing me to name my DITA files using page alias instead of page number, but it was too slow.

Look at all the apdiv's you have.  Those are absolutely positioned layers.  I'm assuming by your post that you are very new to Dreamweaver and HTML and CSS.  I would highly recommend not using absolutely positioned layers until you have a better grasp on HTML and CSS.
Looking at your code I would suggest that you consider using one of Dreamweaver's built in, or downloadable templates as a starting point and work from there.

  • Checking the number of concurrent user?

    Hi all,
We are using FMS 4.5 to provide f4m & m3u8 live streaming and VOD to user via http.
How can i check the number of concurrent user connected to the live and VOD?
    Many thanks!

    A few random thoughts...
    1) Check the system documentation for how RAM needs to be populated in the V240.
I seem to recall that platform needs them two-at-a-time.
    2) Your prtdiag report would not have eight lines of information for the Memory Module Group unless there were eight DIMMs in existence. Empty slots would not be mentioned.
Use Google and search for a perl script utility named memconf_.
It's a handy third-party tool to get a text report of how RAM is populated in a system.

Is there any way to retrieve this information using SDK code?

  • Maximum number of contemporary users

    Hi Everybody,
in my company we're planning for a new "Portal & Wireless" installation, and we need to know how many contemporary users can be served by the system. We have a three-tier architecture, with two different servers for the middle-tier (IBM x342, with 2 intel Pentium III 1400 MHz processors and 2GBs Ram memory)load-balanced by a Radware machine, and with the infrastructure (DB, SSO & OID) installed on a 4 Ultra Spark 400 MHz processors system (4GBs Ram). Does someone know any sort of algorithm to get the maximum number of contemporary user? Otherwise, which way can I estimate that value? Do you know any 'enlightening' document about this issue?
    Thanx!

There is no easy answer to this question. You may find this document interesting.
How your hardware performs will vary widely based upon what you run on it.
Estimating anything can be a complex and error-prone process, that's why it's an 'estimation' not a 'calculation'.
Primarily there are three approaches to sizing a portal implementation, these can be identified as:
    Algorithm or Calculation based
An algorithm or process that accepts inputs from the customer (e.g. user count, page count, hits, latency, doc size etc) and attempts to deliver a processing requirement is probably the most commonly accepted tool for delivering sizing estimations.
Unfortunately this approach is also the most inaccurate.
When considering a logical n-tier enterprise class portal implementation the number of variables involved in delivering a calculation that even approaches a realistic sizing response would require input values numbering in excess of one hundred, and calculations so complex and sensitive that providing an input value plus or minus 1% of the correct value would result in wildly inaccurate results.
The other approach to calculation based solutions would be to simplify the calculation to the point where it was simple to understand and simple to use. Unfortunately the sizing results delivered from this approach would also be wildly inaccurate.
    Size-by-Example based
A size-by-example (SBE) approach requires a set of known samples that may be used as data-points along the thermometer of system size. The more examples available for SBE the more accurate the intended implementation will be. Asking a customer how many users they will have, what those usage patterns are likely to be and what type of content they intend to deploy on the portal are all questions that they should be able to answer. Asking them the likely cache-hit-ratio for a portlet is probably something they won't be able to answer unless you're asking the right people. Normally in a pre-sales situation the customer will not know the answers to questions like that. Those are the types of questions that would be required for the algorithm approach.
Oracle has the ability to deliver targeted SBE sizing solutions for our prospective portal customers through reference implementation documents that outline both our internal deployments and customer's external deployments.
By using these real world examples both customers and Oracle can be assured that the configurations being proposed have been implemented before and will provide the performance and functionality unique to the proposed implementation.
    Proof of Concept based
A proof of concept (POC) or pilot based approach offers the most accurate sizing data of all three approaches.
A POC allows the customer to do the following :
    Test their portal implementation design
    Test their chosen hardware platform
    Test their caching strategy
    Simulate projected load
    Validate design assumptions
    Validate Oracle9iAS Portal
Provide iterative feedback for their implementation team
Adjust or validate the implementation decisions made prior to the POC
There is, however, two downsides to a POC based approach, namely time and money.
Running a POC requires the customer to have manpower, hardware and the time available to implement the solution, validate the solution, iterate changes and re-test and finally analyze the POC findings.
A POC is always the best and recommended approach for any sizing exercise, it will deliver results that are accurate for the unique implementation of the specific customer, and that are as close to deploying the real live solution as possible but without the capital outlay on hardware and project resources.
    Hope this helps
