In MIRO transaction (enter incoming invoice) system brings used positions.

Hi All,
In MIRO transaction (enter incoming invoice) system brings used positions (items) as available. It shouldn't work like that. Enclosed you can find a print screen from MIRO transaction. Both items in this order have already been used but still it lets user to post invoice against them.

Hi,
Make "Reference number" mandatory in 'Required during document entry segment' in "RE" document type in OBA7 t.code & save.
Set Error message for messages M8-471,M8-108 & M8-462 in t.code: OMRM  & save
So when you do MIRO , you need to enter VENDOR INVOICE NUMBER in Reference number field in MIRO & post document and further more same VENDOR INVOICE NUMBER you can not used in MIRO t.code again, if you do so, system will show error message.

    MIRA is for Invoice Verification in the Background
    Purpose
    This process is suitable for the following transactions:
    Posting invoices with mass amounts of data for which no item check is required
    Posting invoices referring to transactions not yet entered in the system
    Entering Invoices for Verification in the Background (Without Item List)
    When verifying invoices in the background, you enter only a small set of document header data, such as the invoice amount, the currency and the tax information. You also allocate the incoming invoice to a purchasing document or a vendor. The system saves the data and allocation criteria you enter.
    At a later point, the system verifies the invoice in the background. It uses the allocation criteria you entered to determine the item list. It then calculates the net total from the item list.
    If the net total = gross amount invoiced - tax amount (+/- tolerance), the system posts the invoice in the background.
    If the net total ¹ gross amount invoiced - tax amount (+/- tolerance), the system does not post the invoice in the background. It saves the document header data and the items determined in the background; the saved document then has to be processed manually in Invoice Verification.
    With Invoice Verification in the background, the system does not check for any quantity or price differences at item level. Since you do not enter any actual invoice item data, the system uses the default data for comparison.

    MIRO used to post Invoice Verification w.r.t. to Delivery document, PO Reference, Vendor so on. Using this transaction code GR/IR account will be knocked off as well as PO History will be updated.
    FB60 used to post directly. (for example direct expenses to be booked by FI guys)

    SAP user doing following entries :
    MIRO ->Inv. date >Reference>Calculate Tax ( check box select) > Business place>text>PO ref>
        --> select Delivery Note --> Select G/L Account -->
        in this menu after select the G/l account --> Business area --> Cost Center --> Order ( This fielld  
       automatically  Mandatory tick comes  ) only in one SAP login.
      So please tell me now How to remove this Mandatory tick to aboe field.
    While on my other SAP user this field are not comes in Mandatory. so Invoice post successfully.

  • Error when entering incoming invoice  in MIRO

    Hello gurus,
    we are trying to enter invoice in MIRO with PO reference for planned delivery costs. After I enter the PO number, I have the item downloaded with certain amount, To balance the document I enter in G/L accounts tab account  the account number 1243300020, add the amount and tax and once I do this and want to simulate, I get the error:
    Account 2454100030 EC10 is blocked for posting
    which I do not get, as the account 2454100030 has not been entered anywhere...is there any assignemt for tax amouts or something?

    Dear,
    Use transaction FS00, enter GL 2454100030 account and click on Lock icon and unblock the same....if you want to check where this GL 2454100030 has been assigned then check table T030 and T030K in transaction SE16.

  • Incoming Invoice without FI posting

    Dear gurus,
    I had a PO document, for which I recieved the products with MIGO, and then did MIRO to enter the Invoice.
    The Invoice did not create any FI posting!!! but it was saved. when opening the document with MIR4, if I cklick on the "Follow-on documents" button it displays a message that no Fi posting exists.
    I try to cancel the document with transaction MR8M and it displays the message : Reversal not possible, accounting document for the ref. does not exist
    Any clues on how to solve this problem, I have to find a way to enter the Invoice in the system correctly

    Can you check authorization, some persons were not authorized to see the accounting documents. check with you BASIS guys.
    while reversing it is saying that. accounting document exists then possiblity is authorization problem. check and confirm us.

  • Post non PO invoice line items using INVOIC01 and FM IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM

    hello there SAP folks,
    Have an interesting question for all of you. We currently have a partner through whom we use the IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM Function module to pass invoices. Now there are multiple line items some times [multi E1EDP01 / E1EDP02] segments which all refer to the same PO but to different line items on the PO. Now all that is well.
    For one particular partner we now have the following requirement. We are going to have the same condition as above, with the added condition that there are going to be some invoice line items with no reference to a PO. the reason is that the vendor is going to calculate the different taxes and send them to us. so when we post the invoice :
    we will now have
    31 Vendor
    40 GR/IR
    40 Tax 1
    40 Tax 2
    50 Tax 3 offset
    instead of
    31 vendor
    40 GR/IR
    to deal with the new situation I tried adding having the following
    first E1EDP02 is going to refer to the PO using qualifier 001, but second E1EDP02 [for tax] s not going to have a qualifier 001. When I do that i get a missing belnr (001) and zeile (001) error.the exact error message is the following
    Required field BELNR(001) is missing in segment E1EDP02
    Required field ZEILE(001) is missing in segment E1EDP02
    Message no. FD070
    Now to bypass that, I added the 001 qualifier for the second E1EDP02 [tax part] and now the error that I get is either the PO is duplicated or if i put some dummy PO number, then it says PO cannot be found.

    so the question is how is it possible to post  4 items in the idoc , with one being a PO reference and 3 non PO reference using INVOIC01 and IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM
    I also have to add that it is possible to add a non PO items to the MM invoice in MIRO by entering the additional tax lines using the g/l account tab next to the PO reference tab.

  • Adding Multiple Vendor Invoice at time MIRO Transaction

    Dear Experts,
    I am facing a problem whereby the users want to to add hundreds of Vendor Invoices and there corressponding date when at the time of MIRO transaction.
    Currently in standard there is only one field for the Vendor Invoice No and Vendor Invoice Date.
    Please advice as if how to give the provisions to user so that they can enter multiple(20 or 30) vendor invoice no and corresponding vendor Invoice dates at time of creation MIRO Invoice.(T-Code : MIRO)

           For invoice verification of  one vendor with many inovice  at the same time in MIRO, select vendor insted of Purchase order / Schedukle agreement   after selecting vendor , then click on more allocation criteria,  after that a new pop window will open enter the plant and vendor code and click on adopt then system will select all the PO for which invocie verification is not done  then select all the invocie u want to proceed,

  • How to post an Idoc (INVOICE02) for non-po Invoice (MIRO transaction)

    I want to Post an Idoc for non-po vendor Invoice through MIRO transaction. I want to use INVOICE02 basic type. In the line item we need to enter G/L account , Cost center and line item amount. But I am not able to enter the same in the INVOICE02 Idoc. It will be nice if you please let me know how to post non-po Idoc through MIRO transaction.

    Hi Raja,
    Check this out.
    Inbound IDocs are triggered by either external systems (edi, wms etc) or can be triggered by inhouse applications in SAP to post a application document.
    1. EDI_DATA_INCOMING can create a IDoc from a file on the OS layer. It just needs a IDoc flat file containing control and data records, it will create an Idoc from it if the control record successfully matches a inbound partner profile parameters.
    2. IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS can be triggered by external/internal programs to creae IDoc withing SAP, whereas IDOC_INBOUND_SYNCHRONOUS can be used by inhouse SAP programs to create inbound Idoc.
    3. WE19 can create and post an existing inbound Idoc to application

    you want migrate historical data?
    There is nothing really impossible with computer programs, but I feel this would need so much effort and cost more than the whole rest of your migration project.
    you would have to redo anything in the sequence as it was dont in the old system, otherwise you will get wrong values.. You cannot migrate movements by its own, or invoices by its own.
    You would need to create this old (and probably closed)  PO again, receive the goods to create the   movement, post the invoice... which would mean that you might have an open item and you would need to pay the vendor again.......
    Dont forget to post all the goods issues otherwise your stock will be incorrect.
    And .. do you really think that you can get the data with the same numbers, if you have 2 SAP systems, then you might have overlapping number ranges.
    No , to be honest, I have not seen that such was done anywhere.
    You usually transfer open business process (and create cross reference lists, to see what old number has got which new number). means you transfer all POs that have not been received yet.
    You will post the invoices that belong to a PO that was received in the old system using the FI transactions (no 3 way match for a short period of time)
    You might want to ask that question to SAPs SLO team.

    I'm wokring on a SAP R/3 4.6 release and I would like to know if it is possible to post invoices with no PO from MIRO transaction. If it is so would it be possible for you to let me know which are the customizing steps to undertake and/or the fields to be populated in the MIRO transaction.
    I know that this kind of invoices should be processed throught transaction FB60 but in this case the use of MIRO transactino is required.

    Hi Davide,
    You have first to fill in the header the tab basic details and then in the tab Details "Inv.Party"
    Now you can go to the tab G/L account.
    With a PO the system take the vendor from the PO now you have first to fill the vendor number

    The method can only carry out your function if no error messages were
    generated in the Return table. This is the case if the header data and
    all the items were processed successfully.
    Transaction control is not implemented. The calling program therefore
    has to execute the Commit Work itself after this method has been
    successfully called (in other words, if no errors were reported in the
    Return parameter).
