Error: while configuring logs for changes in infotype data
Hi All,
I am configuring the following Tables for maintain logs for changes in infotype data.
V_T585A, V_T585B and V_T585C
While configuring V_T585B, when i input * in 'field name' column it gives me an warning message " All data fields in **** infotype 31 will be deleted.
Please let me know, what does this warning message means?
Also, How is the report RPUAUD00 read?
Regards
SimranHi Simran,
you are not suppose to give the IT 0031-Reference Personnel Numbers in these tables. why because this will done at the time of Employee hiring only and we don't change this. if you change you will lost the old data in the IT.
Normally we assign only the IT which we change frequently for the master data. example like 0 1 2 7 8 9 27 582 - 589 2001 2006.
if you are configuring today means from today on-wards any changes had made to these IT's you can see in the report. before changes will not be seen. in the report you have to choose either long-term document / short-term document and remaining fields as per the requirement.

BAPI for change PO confirmation date
Hi,
Does anyone know a bapi or a function module for change the confirmation date of one item of a purchase order ( that changes the field EINDT of table EKES ) ?
I need to change it according to goods receipt date.
Thanks in advance,
Paulo Sousayou can use BAPI_PO_CHANGE
In particular you would be interested in schedule line table POSCHEDULE in the function interface and the field for confirmation date is DELIVERY_DATE.
Also you need to pass the BAPI some header fields like PO number etc and item fields liek material number etc along with the POSCHEDULE structure.
Also remember to mark X in POSCHEDULEX for corresponding field POSCHEDULEX-DELIVERY_DATE, so that the change will be transferred to the PO in database.
Also this BAPI can auto COMMIT
Hope this helps -
Using FIFO as sql code for assigning indicator to data items
Hi All,
We are looking for a solution based on FIFO algorithm. We have a table having following data:
We need to perform FIFO on this table, and assign "object" as data items to other rows based on following conditions:
1. first we have to group the rows based on "object" column
2. then we have to traverse each group from the row having minimum start time of the object group e.g: row id 1 for object group for "19O"
2.1 Assign a "EqpREf" as "object" + <an integer value> , where integer value changes when the start and end chain finishes. Start -end chain is explained in step 2.2
2.2 then we have to pick the "nextstarttime" of the picked row and compare it against the closest "starttime" of the rows having "start" as same as "end" of the same row we are
picking for "nextstarttime" e.g: row id 2 of object 19O is having "nextstarttime" 0310 closest to "starttime" 0355 of row id 2 of object 19O , and rowid 2 is having "start" AAL which is similar to "end" of
rowid 1
2.3 We have to perform this chain till we find end of same and allocate each row in a chain same "Eqpref"
hence the output we need to generate will come as:
Kindly help on same.
Thanks in advance

What we are doing here is generating a schedule for Trains departures.
here, we should identify the train schedules making a chain of stations considering the endstation of a train engine no should be startstation of another record for same engineno. also the starttime of engineno should be nearest of nextstarttime
of same station.
for example : if we pick Ist row "SGC-IXP", nextstarttime for same is "02:00:00 am". this means train departed from SGC will reach to IXP and is available for departure from IXP after "02:00:00 am". So we have to consider
the record having startstation as IXP and nearest starttime to nextstarttime ("02:00:00"). So the next train departure would be IXP-DFW having starttime as "03:30:00 am".
here you can see we have to assign the scheduleno of previously considered record to the chained schedule so we have updated the "schedule_ref" as 101. Also we have to assign the engine no - <counter of integer> to a single chain on schedule
given in engine_ref.

Change validity end date on activity type
Is there a way to change the validity end date of an activity typre. Currently it is 9999 we would like to change it to 2011.
We would like to use a particular activity to cost current standards but dont want to use it for planned estimates that we will create for 2011. I am assuming if the validity ends in 2011 it will resolve the problem. I know we could create alternate routings and different production version but I am trying to avoid that and see if we can find a short cut.
Your help in this regard will be much appreciatedHey Greta,
I executed the report but it says ,"The deletion could not be carried out, plan records still exict on cost center for activity type." I have deleted every thing from kp26 for that particular combination of activity type and Cost center.
Any ideas as to what is happening!!

How to change Valid to date in BOM
Hi Sap experts
I have two questions:
1. How to change the valid to date in BOM for either header or component material.
2. If the answer of the above question is NO, then from where the system takes the value for valid to date in BOM. If its default, then where that default date is actually set in?
Thanks & Regards
Akhtar ShaikhDear Akhtar,
If ECM is not activated then deflaut systems takes Valid to-date as 31-12-9999
It is inbuilt in program designed by SAP
Valid from date will be the date which you are creating BOM
If ECM is activated then you can go with required dates ( with change numbers )
Check this link in which you can find Mr. Mangalraj and experts Replies

Business partner change Valid From Date field
How can I change the Valid From Date field in tables:
BUT000
BUT020
BUT0BK
BUT100
Currently the of date of creation of the business partner is in this tables' Valid From field.
In transaction BP the Address of the Business Partner is valid from 01.01.1990 but still I get a warning that the business partner is not valid for date 01.11.2011.Sounds like the problem is the valid to date. What is that date set to?

T Code for Changing material price
Hi friends,
Can anybody tell me what is the T-Code for
1. To change th material price
2. Transfer posting from Un-restricted stock to block stock
3. Transfer posting from Un-restricted stock to Quality stockSteve,
I have a requirement
Daily cycle counts are completed on inventory. SAP prints nightly a count cycle of 50 inventory items to count (Inventory Audit). This is done so our warehouse folks count items throughout the year rather than at the end of the year all at once. Every January 1 of each year the cycle count begins until we finish cycling through the inventory, which usually happens around October.
When suspend the inventory counts it places the inventory cycle counts on hold for a period of time. The cycling that would usually happen in October of each year is extended out by the days the inventory counts were placed on hold. This is to allow for 100% inventory audit counts. As I understand SAP puts those inventory counts on hold and begins again when it is restarted.
I will need the TCODE to stop and start the inventory cycle count
Can you please help me out -
Events for changed entry in data dictionary
Hi ,
I have a requirement as mentioned below:
my table has four fields : 1. vkorg 2. validity_period 3. modification_date and 4. modification_time.
I have to capture the modification date and modification time if a user changes an entry (or entries) in the table and update the date and time fields in the table. I have done it by creating an event "creating a new entry"which is triggered when a new entry is added to the table. But if an existing entry is modifies then the entry is not triggered. when I use " before saving the data " event then only the last record of the table moves to the "Routine" of the event. So I am not able to capture the date and time when an entry (or entries ) is modified. Can anyone suggest me what I should do?
