T410 & Windows 8 Pro 64bit - display black screen after wellcome screen

I'm using T410 and Windows 8 Pro 64 bit.
Sometime, when i boot start Windows, after Wellcome , the screen is black.
But when i press Ctrl+Alt+Del, its' appear Task Maneger...vv.v...... but when i try lo login, after then, it's re-appear Black Screen (with cursor)
I updated BIOS.
Display was updated by Windows 8 (not manual)
Please help me fix this issue.

Did you upgrade to Windows 8 or do a clean install?

27 inch thunderbolt display blacks out after Thunderbolt Firmware Update 1.2

Bought 2 new 27 inch TB displays for two different machines and after a couple of days the Thunderbolt Firmware Update 1.2 appears on my Mac Pro with one of the displays installed. So I install the firmware update. Now my display blacks out periodically and I keep getting Graphic Display Errors with a request to sent the errors to Apple. Running a 32 GB Mac Pro (late 2013 circular style) I have three monitors connected (two 20 inch cinema displays and the new 27 inch display). This machine is supposed to be able to handle three 4k monitors or 6 standard TB displays. I've seen the posts about the blacking out with this monitor but I didn't have any problems before the firmware update and now I've got them pretty regularly. I had the blacking out problem on an earlier monitor and took one of the monitors back and Apple gave me another one and this is the replacement. Same problem, but this one only started after the update. I'm hoping someone from Apple reads these messages and can let me know what's up.
BTW, I also have an older 27 inch Apple monitor that ran perfectly on this machine so I'm disappointed that I spent all this money and now get the blacking out issue.

I have my Thunderbolt display connected to my MacBook Pro and have been experiencing the same issue, getting worse over time. The folks at my local Apple store did not know what to do about it. So, I looked around and tried different thing.
The one thing that seems to be working is to System Preferences > Build-in Display > uncheck “Automatically adjust brightness.”

MacBook Pro having weird black noise on the screen. Anyone seen this befor

So I have a 15 inch MacBook Pro 2.2 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 gigs of ram. Recently the DVD drive has died on it but more importantly it has started having weird black things on the screen and it will freeze right up. It has been doing this more and more. It will do it when I have had it running for a long time and everything is hot, it will do it when It has just been sitting there in a screen saver doing nothing, and it will do it when I have just had it on for a few min right out of my bag. I am running Snow leopard on it. I have never seen a machine do this before in my 10 years of having Apple Laptops. Anyone have a similar experience? Display Black/Freezing after short time (Cinema 20")

I have a Mac Pro (1GB Ram) with a 20" Cinema Display
Occasionally the display will go black or freeze. This usually happens when running a full screen game, or the iTunes Visualizer, or the Screen Saver, nit always.. once this happens, the keyboard and mouse do not seem to be able to 'wake it up', I also notice that something is still happening because iTunes will still play music and games will still have sound
This does not happen in Safe Mode, making me suspect something in the config.

Yup!! Problem was an overheating video card. I broke the box open and took the card out. The input vent was all gunked up. So I cleaned it all out and now it runs great (and a lot quieter)

Windows 10: Second display "turns off" in lock screen

Unfortunately some of these quirks are why people don't upgrade straight away, on the plus side by having over 14M people upgrade in less than 2 days MS now has a lot of faults found and fixes to work on - quickly. We hope.
That said I have a dual screen setup and my monitors retain the screen space settings.
The fact yours is a laptop maybe indicative of your issue - does your laptop have dual graphics, e.g. one for high use games and one for low use 2D?
Does it turn off 3D settings - it may not be a Windows 10 thing but more of a setting that has defaulted.

I don't recall having this problem with Win 7 Pro, just upgraded to 10 pro a few days ago.I have an HP Probook 450 G2 (with up-to-date graphics driver) and a dual monitor setup. Main display is on HDMI and second display is on VGA. When I lock my laptop (Win+L), it seems to "turn off" the second display and shifts any applications I had in the second display to the main display.While a relatively small issue, it is rather annoying to have to drag applications back over to the second display when I resume working.It doesn't seem to happen right away though, nor does it seem to trigger when display is set to sleep at 20 minutes. I'm not sure how else to explain this. 24-inch Cinema Display and Mid-2010 Macbook Pro - Cinema Display still flickers after updates

I currently have a 15-inch Macbook Pro (mid 2010) hooked up to my 24-inch Cinema Display. I have updated all the firmware for both the Cinema Display and the Macbook Pro but still get intermittent flickering. Moreover, I have cleared the PRAM and VRAM. I have done ever possible update I can find, the system is fully functioning. Help?

I am having this exact same problem. 2010 iMac with NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256MB. I have it hooked to a 30" display through a DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter. The 30" is fine, but I have graphical corruption constantly on the main iMac screen.
This all started as soon as I updated to Yosemite a couple days ago.

Computer goes to black screen after splash screen (installed new graphics card)

I installed an EVGA Geforce GTX 750ti on my computer today, but when I boot it up, it goes and stays on the splash screen for about 45 seconds, then goes to a black screen, and stays there for an indefinite amount of time. Any ideas on how to make this work?

MXML component invisible in screen after exceeds screen height,help in Scroller

i am new to mxml. i am devloping playbook applucation using MXML.
playbook height is fix 600 and width 1024 in lanscape and in potrait its height and width are reverse.
i have long content to display but after y=600 i don't able to see any component on MXML
i add scroller in MXML then also it not able to display all content.
in MXML all component have x and y co-ordinate associate with it so when y exceeds 600 no component is display on then screen.
so how to add component to scroller and able to display on the screen

I'm looking into trying to get the component instantiated
through MXML, and then returning it using it's ID. If another
container addChilds it, then the component will be removed from the
(temporary) display list it was previously added to (simply for
instantiating), correct?
I think these layout issues are only when I instantiate it in
actionscript, but further poking should reveal the truth....

Anyone having problems with the Samsung Galaxy Stellar touch screen after a screen lock?

My Samsung Galaxy Stellar won't respond from the lock screen, about once a week.
What touch screen issues are others having?
As a workaround, I have to remove the back cover and battery, replace, and turn the phone on.

So far I have had 3 of these phones in as many months. After about 3 weeks, the phone will suddenly lock up on me, and will either go into a boot loop, or just become unresponsive. Couldn't even do a factory reset on the first one. In both cases, I can see activity on the wifi indicator, so it's not like the phone is completely frozen, but you can't do anything with it since the screen is. I really like this phone, but if this third one does the same thing, I'm going to throw it out the window, and cancel my 7 year old account!

Blank Screen after splash screen on brand new HP Z420 workstation

Tried to install Windows 10 on brand new HP Z420 and it all l seemed to go well and ran for few days.
Now when I restart it the Windows splash screen shows briefly and then goes blank and black, no green light on monitor.
Cant get into safe mode by pressing F4.
About all I can do is try disabling BIOS setting like power management etc and maybe swap out the Nvidia K2000 Graphics card.
This is a very common hardware package that ships from HP with Windows 8.1 so it should just all work. Any one else had this or have any ideas??

OK, I have no explanation, but wiping the drive, reformatting and reinstalling XP from scratch fixed the problem for me.
I understand if you don't wanna take that route. It was my last, last last resort. But among the things that didn't work:
Upgrading to XP from 2K
Adding a beefier PSU
Upgrading motherboard drivers to latest
Removing motherboard drivers totally and reinstalling
Ditto video drivers
Using different vid card
Using onboard video
Removing one, then the other bank of RAM
Reducing CPU frequency
Increasing CPU frequency
Sacrificing a goat or a chicken
I have no idea what happened in the 1st place, and I hate unsolved/unexplained glitches, but I'm glad my system's working again.
That's all I got to say about that.
