Tab u201CCurrent credit limits assignedu201D  & u201CMaximum permitted credit limits"

Hi,
Please explain the diferrence between the tab u201CCurrent credit limits assignedu201D  and the tab u201CMaximum permitted credit limitsu201D  in the Central Data of general data in FD32.
In the first case it is written like this:
Current credit limits assigned:
Total amount:
Largest individual limit:
and
Maximum permitted credit limits:
Total amount:
Maximum individual limit:
Thanks,
Jans

Hi,
Please note the below details as required:-
In the Central Data Screen, you can enter the Total Limit and Individual Limit. This is applicable when a customer is assigned to several credit contral areas (via different company codes), and there is a total limit for the customer for all of the credit control areas and an individual limit for the specific credit control area. The Currency becomes important because different credit control areas can have different currencies.

u201CMaximum permitted number of internal tax item reached  Thisi is while  doing MIRO  Can any one help with this!

    HI
The error message FF755 you are getting it is because of the generation
of the large number of lines in table BSET on the FI that you are
receiving this error, field BSEG-BUZEI is is limited to 3 digits.
The problem you are encountering is not a error in the standard design
but rather in accordance with the standard system design. You are
creating a document which is generating more than the maximum permitted
    number of internal tax items.
Please see note 643273. Read this note, it helps explain why error
occurs, you will also see in this note it is necessary to maintian your
customizing settings in table TTYPV. Please do same.
So, you have 2 standard options:
    1. splitting the document
    2. using the summarization functionality
Please review note 589301 and note 571928 which I have attached
    for your information.
Please also review notes 117708,36353, 77161 and 370565  which I have

The system is working as designed.

  • Tab design very limited in Portal.

    Hi all,
Do you find that the available tools for tab design is very limited in Portal ?
The available options are only Active / Inactive tab images, background / font colors.
I may need to turn to html portlet to create my custom tab layout and possibly employ javascript to add more dynamic to my site.
Any things can be shared with us?
    Thanks
    George (HK)

    Hi George,
Yes, the default implementation of Tabs in Oracle Portal is indeed limited. I would rather rely on JavaScript & DHTML for the "killer" look & feel for the pages.

    Hi ravi,
      Notes on Credit mangement
    SAP SD Credit Management
All business have their own credit management needs, SAP allows you to specify your own automatic credit checks based on a variety of criteria.  You can also specify at which critical points in the sales and distribution cycle the system carries out these checks.
    SM30 - Table/View
    V_TVTW - Define Distribution Channel
V_TVTA_KKB - Assign sales area to credit control area
V_T014 - FI - Define Credit Control Area
T001CM - FI - Assign Permitted Credit Control Area to company code
OVXG - Set up Sales Areas
    e.g.  Sales Organization
                      Distribution Channel
                                  Division
                      Distribution Channel
                                  Division
    FD32 - Customer Credit Management
OVAK - Define credit limit check by sales document type
    Check Credit
A - Credit limit check and warning message
B - Credit limit check and error message (no sales order can be created)
C - Credit limit check and delivery block (block delivery if hit credit limit)
Options B and C -> used for checking open order values (when you create/change the sales order)
D - Automatic credit control with open order values
More control in transaction OVA8 - Automatic credit control
You check for open orders and deliveries, or just open deliveries.
or open order values with other options
    Credit group
Allows you to combine different sales document types for the credit limit check
VKM1 - Blocked SD Documents - Finance have to released the delivery block
OVAD - Define credit limit check by delivery order
whether the automatic credit check occurs at the time of delivery creation and/or goods issue
OVA7 - Define credit limit check by item category
Set whether to include/exclude item category for credit limit check
OVA6 - Define credit group. You can groups together different business transactions which should be dealt with in the same manner with regard to the credit check.
You enter the credit groups when you configure the sales document types for credit management and define the (D - automatic credit check).
    SAP default credit groups
01 - credit group for sales order
02 - credit group for delivery
03 - credit group for goods issue
OVA8 - Automatic credit control - Double click on the line items
You can have the followings credit limit check :-
    Static
Depends on the customer total value of open orders, deliveries, billing documents and open items.
    Open items
    No of days open
Overdue open items checks is based on the ratio of open items that are overdue by a certain number of days.
    Max open items %
The customer balance must not exceed a certain percentage.
    Oldest open items
If you don't want to deliver to the customer at all when even only 1 invoice is overdue.
Tick the Check for Oldest Open Item and Set the field Days oldest item = 1.
    Days oldest item
No of days allowed for overdue or payment terms.
Use of the credit check Oldest Open Item. If a user attempts to alter the order quantity of a released sales document
that was previously blocked, it would be reblocked again by the system.  The system only reblocks the sales document if the new order quantity is above a certain % amount.
    Released documents are still unchecked
The preset % is whatever you want to set it as when configuring your automatic credit processing. You enter a deviation % and number of days,eg, you can set it so that an order can be changed by up to 10% within 30 days of original order entry date without it going back on credit block.
    Next Review Date
If a customer has a credit limit of 1000 USD, and you would like to restrict this credit limit only to be available in current month (say March). If the document day is in April then the credit limit is zero.
You can use the "NextReview date" and "Number of days" fields and combined it with the "Last int.review" field in customer credit master "Status" view (FD32).
VOKR - Display of work list for credit management (configure the display variant)
    Free goods determination
Free Goods Determination in Sales Order
Free goods has the following limitations:
    - Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: ‘With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of charge‘ or ‘If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of charge‘.
    - Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).
    - Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
    - Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
    - Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.
    - If you defined a free goods for variants in a generic article (only SAP Retail), you can only process the variants in the purchase order and goods receipt individually (as single articles). In other words, you cannot process them using the generic article matrix.
    4.6x
Not all Sales Order can be used for free goods determination.  You have to check the SD document category if it does not work.  Only category 'C' are supported.  Check transaction VOV8.
Assume that you want to configure an inclusive FREE goods routine.  Customers must order a minumum quantity of 5 before any free goods can be assign.  For every quantity of 3, the customer will be given 1 free goods.
WC07 - Maintain Number Range Intervals
    e.g.
    No   From number       To number
    01    0000010000         0000099999
IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Free Goods ->
    Maintain Access Sequences
    New Entries
    Acsq
    NA00
    Save
    Maintain Condition Types
    New Entries
    Ctyp   Name             AcSq
    FREE  Free Goods    NA00
    Save
    Maintain Pricing Procedures
    Procedures
    New Entries
    Procedure   Description
    FREE           Free Goods
Select Procedure FREE then click Control data
    Step   Cntr   Ctyp
    10       10      FREE
V/N6 - Activate Free Goods Determination
Assign Order Type OR with Document Procedure A with Procedure FREE
VBN1 - Create free goods determination
    e.g.  FREE inclusive
Material  Min qty   From   are free good   Calc Rule   Free Goods
                           5           3                1                      1                1
In this example, if you create a Sales Order for a quantity of 10, SAP will prompt you 7 as the customer order qty and 3 will be free.  Customer only pay for the 7 quantity.

  • Credit check at Delivery

For one of our risk categories, we would like the credit check to occur at both the Sales Order and Delivery creation events.  In transaction OVA8, I have created records for the credit control area/risk category/credit group.  The credit groups are assigned to the document types properly (01 - at Order, and 02 - at Delivery).
When I create an order which exceeds the credit limit, I release it from credit block in VKM1.  I then proceed to create a delivery.  At this point, I would like the delivery to block, but it is not doing so.  On the Header--> Processing tab, the Credit Status is "D" (Released).  This implies that just because the order was released, the delivery will not block.
A few questions....(a) does the "Number of days" in the risk category need to be set to zero? (b) does the delivery need to have value to block?   Any additional thoughts you have would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Dear dbrennan,
It is a standard functionality and for your questions
    (a) does the "Number of days" in the risk category need to be set to zero?
    SAP says
The current date is not greater than the Release date + the Number of days specified in the Rick category.
and System is not allowing negative ( -1) date too.
    (b) does the delivery need to have value to block?
In practical, Is the sales order credit check and Delivery order credit parameters were different?

  • A/R credit memo with due date

    Hi Gurus,
when we create A/R credit memo, it become due immediatly and next it become over due. But user want to see credit memo as net due 30 day or more. Is there any way that when ever user create credit memo it does not become due immediatly but net due in 30 days
    Thanks

    Hi,
If you are using Payment term for A/R invoice same terms of payment can be linked for credit memo by entering invoice  number in inv. ref field in payment tab of credit memo. In this way all terms of payment from original invoice are copied to credit memo.
Else you can also create a payment term for 30 day net and while entering credit memo you have to enter that payment term manully and also V in inv. ref. field to validate this payment term.
    Thanks

  • Cancel Incoming Payment (if Pay by credit card)

    Hi..
    I want to ask,
how to Cancel Incoming Payment (if pay by credit card), and incoming payment created one month ago..
If i create new incoming payment, and i cancel, it works..
But if i find old incoming payment, i cant cancel it
the error sounds: "one of the credits voucher was cashed".
any idea to solve this problem?
    Thankyou for your help
    regards

    Hi Dony,
Issue is described in SAP Note 542274. I assume that mentioned credit voucher is overdue, and the settings in Administrations - System Initialization - General Settings - Sales tab, Submit Credit Vouchers is  "Automatically". It means, that credit voucher is already deposited, you can check it in Banking - Deposits - Deposit - Cheques/Credit Card/Cash tab(It depends on the payment means of incoming payment).
It is not possible to cancel deposited credit vouchers, you must to
create a similar Incoming Payment with negative amounts and deposit it.
    Regards,
    Paul

  • Definition of "Submit Credit Voucher Automatically"

    Dear Experts,
In Administration > System Initialization > General Settings > BP Tab > Submit Credit Voucher Automatically option
    What does this setting do?
    Much Thanks in Advance!
    Warmest Regards,
    Chinho

    Hi,
    As per Online Help (F1)
    Submit Credit Vouchers
Defines the deposit method of credit card vouchers:
Automatically u2013 determines that the due dates in the transaction of the credit card voucher deposit are the same as the due dates in the Incoming Payments document.
Manually u2013 determines that the due dates in the transaction of the credit card voucher deposit are derived from the deposit document.

  • Rows limit in Cross Tab

    Basil

    Hi Basil
Cross tabs have a limitation on the amount of rows and/or columns that can be displayed within the cross tab object. This limitation is 65,535.
To work around this limitation, use grouping within the cross tab to limit the amount of rows/columns displayed.
