Table Control In Modulepool with Multiple Selection.
Hi Gurus,
I have 2 Screens. In First Screen Im entering Plant and Date.
In Second Screen I have 10 Radio Buttons along with Table Control.In table control i have 6 columns.I have to add multiple rows according to radio button selection and for every row it has to carry First Screens Plant and Date also.So, In table Controls table it has to store along with radio button,Plant and Date and the Table control Values.
Pls send me the solution asap.

2. Create 2 value attributes within the Table node name value1 and value2
3. Goto Outline view> Right click on TransparentUIContainer>Apply Template> Select Table>mark the node Table and it's attributes.

In your implemetaion, you can add values to table as follow:

The above code will allow you to add elements to your table node.

Trying to create table using Union All Clause with multiple Select stmts
The purpose of the query is to get the Substring from the value for eg.
if the value is *2 ASA* then it should come as ASA
where as if the value is *1.5 TST* the it sholud come as TST like wise for others too.

Your problem is that one of your columns is an expression that does not work as a column name SUBSTR(old_care_lvl,3)What you need to do is alias this expression and the CREATE will pick up the alias as the column name, like this:

Yes sir. It w was really hard to explain. It is discontiguous segments that are separated by transparent areas. And I want those non transparent areas to be on their own layer. I have a photo shop file that has a bunch of buttons on them and they are on a transparent background. It is one layer. I want to select all the buttons and put them on their own layers. I can do this manually by selecting a button and cmd Just to a new layer, but when I have 200 buttons it is a daunting task.

i was trying the multiple selections part by the command list, but if i select 2- and more it does nothing (i'm using if x is y then *linebreake* else if ...)

LSMW will have a Indicator for headr and itam, i do not remember the correct field, but it will have an indicator, check the fields, there will be a single charecter lenght field, that should be the indicator, and using that we can write the logic.
check that single charecter field, it that is X that means the header record is processed, and do the items.
and, this is another way, try this out also
YOu can do this in "Define Source Structures" step,
the HEADER is defined first,
then the DETAIL below the HEADER.
add the fields to the structures.
Both should have some common key field
Please take care that the name of the common field is the same.
Once you do this it is linked. The you have a header and item corresponding to that header. then run the LSMW as you would.

TABLE CONTROL
These are the screen elements used to display tabular data they can be called
as screen tables( like STEP LOOP).To use table control we have to create it on the screen using SCREEN PAINTER(SE51) and declare a control variable of TYPE TABLEVIEW using CONTROLS statement in the ABAP program. We have to use LOOP .. ENDLOOP statement in both PBO and PAI with or without AT int_table parameter. IF AT int_table parameter is not used than we have to place a MODULE call between the LOOP...ENDLOOP statement to fill the screen table rows from the ABAP program in PBO and program our own scrolling functions
using OK_CODE field.
Having a parallel loop(at screen table rows & int table rows) by using parameter
AT int_table makes the ABAP code simple.
A special structure of type CXTAB_CONTROL is used to set/get various
attributes of table control at runtime like CURRENT_LINE ,TOP_LINE.
ABAP declaration
CONTROLS: tab_con TYPE TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN nnnn
Here tab_con is the same name we used in screen for the table control.
This ABAP statement will declare a control variable that will be used to access
the table control , and set it's various attributes like number of fixed columns(tab_con-FIXED_COLS) ,total number of records it will display(tab_con-LINES).It is of type CXTAB_CONTROL and is a deep structure(structure containing structures).

This ABAP statement will initialize the table control on the screen nnnn to its initial values.
PBO processingI
n PBO we have to use the screen LOOP ...ENDLOOP statement , with or without
intenal table.
LOOP WITH CONTROL tab_con.
MODULE fill_tab_con.
ENDLOOP.
Here a module should be called between the loop endloop statement to transfer
data from th ABAP program to the screen table through a structure.This module
should use the CURRENT_LINE attribute of the table control variable to get the
current screen table record index to read the data from the internal table into a work area.
e.g.
READ TABLE int_table INDEX tab_con-CURRENT_LINE
The record read will be placed in the header line of the internal table and will be available to the similarly named screen fields or if these are different it can be written explicitly. e.g.
screen_field_name = int_table-field_name
LOOP AT int_table INTO workarea WITH CONTROL tab_con CURSOR i FROM
n1 TO n2.
ENDLOOP.
Here the module call is not required to fill the screen table.The CURSOR parameter is a integer of type I indicating which absolute internal table line
should be the first to display on the table control .FROM n1 TO n2 can be used
to restrict the starting line and ending line number of the internal table , they are of type SY-TABIX.
In both cases before the LOOP statement a module should be called which
is generally for setting of status ,in which we should fill the LINES attribute
(tab_con-LINES ) of the control with the total number of internal table records,doing this ensures correct and automatic scrolling.
The ABAP statement DESCRIBE TABLE int_table LINES lines can be used
to get the total lines in an int table.
PAI Processing
We have to use LOOP ... ENDLOOP in PAI so that data can transfer fro table control to ABAP program. If we want to write changes to the data we should
call a module between the LOOP ... ENDLOOP. The MODULE call to process user commands (SY-UCOM) should be called after the ENDLOOP statement.
e.g.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT
MODULE mod AT EXIT-COMMAND.
LOOP AT itab_table or LOOP "depending on whether we are using AT int_table
MODULE modify_int_table.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE user_command.
In the MODULE call modify_int_table we can use
MODIFY int_table FROM workarea INDEX tab_con-CURRENT_LINE
or we can use
int_table-field_name = screen_field_name. -
Generic Table Control in ABUMN for multiple transfer of assets
Hi Experts,
Problem Description
We are trying to use transaction ABUMN for multiple asset transfer.
We need to transfer more than one assets to multiple assets by quantity
and value.
Our Efforts/Observation
Instead of going ahead with BDC/LSMW, we tried using table control to utilize standard SAP functionality.
For making this happen, we are trying to use the Generic Table control which is available in ABUMN once you click on "Multiple assets" button.
However, even though we are making fields like
EL7, EL8 etc available in the screen (by removing check from the "Invisible" check box), they are in display mode and are not giving me any option to select quantity and value that needs to be transferred from each asset.
We need to assign these fields to some field like quantity/percentage so that they can be used.
If you see, the column header is also blank.
We need to transfer hundreds of assets, hence requesting you to please
fix this urgently so that we can transfer assets and close the quarter.

How can I create a XMP List with multiple selection
Hello,
I try to build my own XMP custom panel. Herefore I need a couple of lists with the possibility for multiple selections (e.g. the choice for one language or multiple languages).
But how is it possible to integrate a list into a panel? There is no XMPList inside the custom folder. I have experimented with the standard mx:list and an array collection for data binding into the list. But how can I write the user selection into an XMP field? Example: In the List the user choose three languages (DE, EN, FR). Is it possible to collect the choice into a string and to write the result into an XMP standard field (e.g. dc:description)?
A further question is, if it's possible to use the "HTTPService" to bind an external xml-file with the languages and other informations into the panel or is it only possible to work with an array collection inside the code?

the FileInfo SDK does not offer a ready-made list component allowing for multi-selection.
So you would need to implement one using the FileInfo SDK API. Your component "XMPList" would inherit from mx:list and would need to implement the XMPRead and XMPWrite events and talk to the XMP using the IXMPAccess interface within those event handlers.
Please have a look at the Programmer's Guide, section "XMP Flex components" and at the API description available in "docs" for further guidanc.

I am working on a report, when I execute the report and the selection screen comes up, there I need to enter 5 different employee name so I am trying to use "multiple selection" option but as soon as I hit that "Yellow arrow" in front of employee name field ..
