Table tab in EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002

Hi all,
In the table tab in the user exit EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 there is a table defined
i_t_data,but the type is not specified.Now if i want to enhance this exit.
How can i use this table to fill values?
Because this table only returns the data that can be transfered.
Please reply.Its urgent.

Asset Table TABA can't be udpated.

Dear All,
In my user's production system, asset fiscal year was set to 2009. In 2008, no asset was created and posted depreciation (TABA: On 2007 12, the posted document is N. Before 2007 12, it is X). In 2009 Jun, user created an asset and wanted to post the depreciation in AFAB. But she got the error message saying "No posting possible in fiscal year".
I have tested it on my IDES and find out that user thought as no asset was created in 2008, she do not have to use AFAB to run the depreciation. Even though no depreciation was posted, the AFAB should be running monthly. Am I right? So I tell user to test
in their QA system. After I used OAAQ to change the asset fiscal year to 2008, user start to run the depreciation of period 1-12 2008. Jobs of RAPOST2000 are all completed without any error. BUT, no data was updated to table TABA. What's the problem?
Did I miss something?
My IDES system has 2 different setup with user's QA system.
1. The GL fiscal year is from 2005-2010. I tried to change the fiscal year in QA from 1-5 2009 to 1-12 2008. I still got nothing updated in TABA.
2. In my IDES, I have several assets and depreciation posted. And in my IDES, the TABA was updated successfully.

Thank you for the direction. However the depreciation was posted to another document and the document number was not updated to the table TABA.
I am checking on the accounting document of 12 2007. I found the number is not in consistency with the that in documents of 1-11 2007. e.g. on 1-11 2007 account document number is from 21000638-21000649 but on 12 2007 account document number is 21000001. I found in FB03 that another account document 21000650 was posted on 12/31/2007.
I set the asset fiscal year to 2007 and GL fiscal year to 2007 and try to repeat run the depereciation in the 12 2007. And in test run, the error message is:
Documents manually posted within dep.doc.number range
Message no. AA728
Diagnosis
In the number range interval for the document type for posting depreciation, a document 21000650 has been posted which was not created within the framework of depreciation posting. The last document posted by depreciation posting was assigned the number 21000649.
Procedure
Contact your Systems Specialist. When changing the number range interval for the document type in depreciation posting, you have to specify a new interval in which no documents exist. Using organizational measures, you can guarantee that there are no documents apart from those created by depreciation posting in this number range.
I checked my number range 21 (external), the field in current document number is blank. I was totally confused. How come it does not have any current document number?

Can someone explain the tables tab under function parameter declaration ?

when declaring a function, part of its parameter interface is the tables tab. So if in FUNCTION1 i declare a table: tdraw like draw (optional)
what does that mean ? does this mean that tdraw will be a table of type draw and at the same time it will be filled up with the same contents as draw has ?
then how can other function (func2) use FUNCTION1 and its table ?
so if inside func2 i also have an internal table AA like draw :
so inside func2 i say:
call function1
tables:tdraw = AA
does this mean that it will assign the result tdraw table of function1 to AA ?
can someone explain details of internal tables and passing them as parameters ?
and which table is assigned to which ?

Hi hassan,
If you are talking about the tables parameter in SE37, when you declare a table tdraw like draw it only means you are declaring an internal table of type draw but the contents are not filled into it.
In the source code of the program you have to write the code to fetch the data to tdraw and do the manipulations accordingly.
Also, the tables you are declaring can be like the input table or can be used for output table.
suppose u have 2 tables tab1 and tab2, tab1 you are going to input the values to it and the calculated values have to be in another table, you can use tab2 as the result table.

What I did:
I have created a table in tables tab of Form Interface like this:
Parameter Name: IT_1
Type Assignemnt: TYPE
Associate Type: TYT
**TYT is defined in Types tab under Global Definition like this:
TYPES: BEGIN OF tys,
vbeln LIKE vbap-vbeln,
posnr LIKE vbap-vbeln,
END OF tys.
TYPES: tyt TYPE TABLE OF tys.
I understand that if I create these two structure in data dictionary then It will work.
But my question is :
Can I create tables parameter with locally declared type. If no, I will appreciate if you can explain the reason

Yes u can create a local type and use it to define IMPORT/EXPORT parameters, but you can't use a table type to be used for TABLE parameters.
Anyway I think it would be better to use the local types only to define local variable.
But the interface of SM is the gate to link the smartform to external enviroment so I believe it doesn't make a sense to create a parameter as local type because only sf can use that type and so it should re-define it in every program where the sf has to be used.

EA3: Bug in dependencies query for table tab

SQL Developer 1.5EA3, JDK 1.6.0_04
I have just noticed a problem with the dependencies query on the table tab - it only shows dependencies where the referencing object is owned by the table owner and for any object with the same name as the table owner.
The query is:
sselect owner, name, type, referenced_owner, referenced_name, referenced_type ,owner sdev_link_owner, name sdev_link_name, type sdev_link_type from ALL_DEPENDENCIES where owner = :OBJECT_OWNER and referenced_name = :OBJECT_NAME
Instead of restricting owner to :OBJECT_OWNER, it should be restricting referenced_owner to :OBJECT_OWNER.

I think the arrow keys could be used for navigating the grid, and Alt-Down Arrow and Alt-Up Arrow could be used for viewing the drop-down list.
How about instead of allowing someone to type in the value, have them select from a list? The index columns can only be columns on the table, and if a column is already chosen for the index, remove it from the list.
I think the behavior of Microsoft's Table Designer is similiar.
What do you think?

Table tab order

Is there a way to change the tab order in a table so that it goes down a column instead of across?
Likewise, I would like cells to build in down the column by cell instead of across, i.e. all of the first column comes in one cell at a time and then the next one cell at a time. Is this possible.

Hi Arick,
This is a standard functionality provided by Adobe form. You can see 'Tab order' under options, and using the shift key, decide the order in which you want the tab to move.
for the number of row, use the following ( i dont know if theres any standard function, but since its repeated nodes of a subform, you can calculate it in the following way)

I am using SQL Developer 1.2.0 Build MAIN-29.98, Java 6, and would like to open tables in new tabs instead of the same one... I know that this was possible in one of the previous versions but can't remember the option - and can't find it in the preferences...

Well, it sounds to me that these parameters are self explaining, but let me give a try anyway.
Changing: You can use this parameter to import some data into your functionmodule, change it and send it back to the caller. This way you don't need an import and export parameter.
Tables: In the early days, you could only transfer tabular data into a function module using the TABLES parameter. So instead of transferring (import and/or export) one record, you can now pass several records to the function module.
BTW: You could als use the F1 help for this, search on help.sap.com, or search SCN first, before even thinking about posting a standard question like this.

919: Column count replaces query count when opening table/view/etc tab

I don't know whether this is intentional or not, but I have just noticed that opening a table or view tab from the connection pane replaces the existing query count message with the query count from the column query. For example, opening a table tab for a table with 14 columns sets the query count message to "All Rows Fetched: 14".
This is not a big issue, but adds to the aggravation of only having the latest query count message, rather than one for each SQL Worksheet.
Is it possible to find somewhere on the SQL Worksheet that we can put it's query count message (for example to the right of the execution time)?

I am happy for querying the columns of a table/view/etc to display the fetch count of the columns, although I am rarely interested in how many columns there are in a table/view/etc.
However, I already find it frustrating that the query count is only for the last fetch - it can be very useful having the query count for last fetch per SQL Worksheet. Having the last fetch overwritten by opening a table tab only makes it more frustrating.

 can anyone tell how to declare internal table in smartform.
 the internal table contains fields from 2 or more data dictionary tables(eg.kna1

1. goto se11, create a structure same as the itab in the print program.ex. z_itab
2. create line type... se11>select radio button-DATA type>z_it_itab >press create>then select>TABLE Type> then entrer some text--> in the line type Field in giveth Str name u have created in STEP 1. activate it.
3. got SMARTFORMS-> form inteface>tables tabe--> give some name ex IT_tab type z_it_itab.
then acivate it.. then in the driver progam pass this table data.

HI' I M NEW TO SMARTFORMS, MY PROBLEM IS =THAT
I'VE CREATED A NEW TYPE(SAY TY_BKPF) IN THE DRIVER PROGRAM.
THEN I'VE DECLARED AN INTERNAL TABLE OF THIS TYPE.
TO PASS THIS INTERNAL TABLE INTO MY SMARTFORM I'VE PASSED THE INTERNAL TABLE'S NAME INTO THE FUNCTION MODULE UNDER THE TABLES PARAMETER.

APEX_APPLICATION_FILES: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

As my first APEX task I am attempting the upload/download demo on http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32469/up_dn_files.htm
The ultimate goal is to store PDF files in the database.
In order to complete step 1: To create an application using the Create Application Wizard:
- I first created a user from SYSTEM called 'myapp'
- Next I logged into 'myapp' to continue the exercise. (I am wondering if that is where I am going wrong... If so, please clarify)
- Knowing that I would want to save the upload to a table I created a table with a BLOB
I did the steps for the upload and ran the application - no errors to there.
Next I needed to "To create a report on APEX_APPLICATION_FILES:".
I started the wizard as instructed. When I pasted the SELECT ... FROM APEX_APPLICATION_FILES, I got the table or view does not exist. A quick review of the TABLES tab shows only the tables that I created. Not any of the system tables or views.
I logged back in as SYSTEM and reviewed the 'rights' given the user 'myapp'. All were checked.
I knew nothing of Oracle when I installed XE, so I took defaults or whatever the install doc said to do. Is that part of the problem? It is clear that I do not have rights to see that table, but I also do not see the table when logged in as SYSTEM.

Abap code not working - deleting based on master data table information

I wrote a piece of code earlier which is working and during test we found out that it will be hard for the support guys to maintain because it was hard coded and there is possibility that users will include more code nums in the future
sample code

Now I created a new InfoObject master data so that the support people can maintain the source and code number manually.
master data table - the codenum is the key.

now I wrote this routine all the data gets deleted.

Data tab like /M/PGICTABLE occurs 0 with header line.

You can use this FM RH_LOCAL_INBOX_GET which gives all the details of the work item for the particulaer user. In this FM goto table tab WI_LIST willl give all the details WI_LIST-WI_STAT give the status of the work item.
