Tables for Learning Progress
What all tables are updated for the learning progress ? Can anyone give me the details.
Appreciate your help.
Please find below the info in this regard :
From release 602, check LSOCPSCORM* tables.
Before this release, we had lsolearnscorm_c, lsolearnelusus_c, lsolearneluco_c, lsolearnelucot_c tables.
Hope this info helps.

LSO Learning progress from content player
Dear Experts,
In the Portal, the paticipant can view the Learning progress( this Learning progress is a consolidated display of the content) can this learning progress be shown unit wise or chapter wise in the table of contents. instead of the consolidated display,
Please advice.
Regards
RajeevHey Ravi,
Thanks for sharing your perspective.
After thinking further about the real estate question, I believe that, at least in the US, most instructional designers aim to present content at 800x600 pixel size. This accounts for differing monitor sizes, etc. If this is the case, then good instructional design (e.g. don't put too much content on a screen at once) should assure that content could be played in-line (in the BSP page). Since the navigational controls are at the bottom, that wouldn't have any effect on width of the page and could also be accommodated.
I'm still of the opinion that SAP LSO (and all leading LMS systems) should evolve to presenting content in the base window. Perhaps there are some extreme exceptions where the extra real estate would make a true difference. In that case, perhaps the learner should be offered an LSO learner setting where they can choose to display content in-line or in a separate window....let them decide Alternatively, one could offer the Training Administrator an infotype setting where they specify whether the content should be displayed in-line (default) versus in a separate popup (this could be used on an exception basis).

Query to identify full table scans in progress
Does anybody have a query that would help me identify:
1) Full table scans in progress.
2) Long running queries in progress.
Thanks,
Thomas
nullDoes anybody have a query that would help me identify:
1) Full table scans in progress.Not sure.
2) Long running queries in progressDon’t have a query readily available, but you can write one based on the following –
Try querying the view V$SESSION_LONGOPS. You will need to join this to V$SQL using SQL_ADDRESS to identify all the SQL’s running for more than ‘x’ minutes.
Current System Time - V$SESSION_LONGOPS.Start_Time should give you the duration.

Do I need to install Oracle database 12c on PC to create tables for Weblogic server
Hi,
I am new to WebLogic and I am following a book Java EE Development
with Eclipse published by PACKT Publishing to learn Java EE. I have installed Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse
on the PC and I am able to log into the WebLogic Server
Administration Console and set up a Data Source. However the next step is to create
tables for the database. The book says that the tables can be
created using SQL script run from the SQL command line.
I cannot see any way of inputting SQL script into the WebLogic
Server Admistration Console. Aslo there is no SQL Command line
in DOS.
I have put a previous question on the Oracle Forum about the above and I was advised to use SQL Plus
to create the tables for the weblogic server but no mention was made of installing Oracle database.
I have downloaded InstantClient SQL Plus and Instantclient Basic on a PC and
put the files into the same directory C:\SQLPlus but now I am having a problem in that it is
looking for a username and password when I run the sqlplus.exe file.
Now I assume that I need to have an installation of Oracle databse on the
PC so as to be able to use SQL Plus. Am I correct in this or can I create tables for the
datasource in weblogic without an Oracle database?
Thanks in advance for your help. BrianYou should install it separately and also need to change the OBIEE's user.sh to tell it where is your Oracle client installed.

How to resolve error ORA-29491: invalid table for chunking?
Hello,
I'm trying to implement DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE to speed up a huge update I need to do. I'm stuck on a problem with the table I'm using to test my procedure. Here's a simple test that produces the same error. As best I can tell, the table I'm declaring here is missing some kind of requirement that lets DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE make use of it, but the docs and searching for the error code haven't turned up any useful discussions. Please help.
drop table owner.why_cant_i_hold;
create table owner.why_cant_i_hold (
things VARCHAR2 (64),
amount INT,
CONSTRAINT why_cant_i_pk PRIMARY KEY (things)
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('limes', 8);
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('lemons', 8);
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('watermelons', 5);
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('cats', 4);
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('teacups',10);
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('mugs', 5);
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('eggs', 15);
insert into why_cant_i_hold values ('jobs', 3);
commit;
-- got tasks?
COLUMN task_name FORMAT A10
SELECT task_name,
status
FROM user_parallel_execute_tasks;
--exec DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE.CREATE_TASK('holding');
exec DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE.CREATE_CHUNKS_BY_ROWID('holding', 'ODDEV03', 'why_cant_i_hold', true, 3);
It seems like a really simple case here. The output is all successful until
"Error starting at line 25 in command:
exec DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE.CREATE_CHUNKS_BY_ROWID('holding', 'owner', 'why_cant_i_hold', true, 3);
Error report:
ORA-29491: invalid table for chunking
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE", line 27
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE", line 121
ORA-06512: at line 1"Oh. This was an easy one, table names are never really lower-case. Changing the value in my chunking call fixed the simple test:
exec DBMS_PARALLEL_EXECUTE.CREATE_CHUNKS_BY_ROWID('holding', 'ODDEV03', 'WHY_CANT_I_HOLD', true, 3);
It doesn't help with why my more complicated test case isn't working, but I have details to check before I ask again.
EDIT: lesson learned... 'invalid table' doesn't mean the database can find the table you are talking about at all. I hope that's a help.

Hi there,
Is there any easy way to create an EEM script so if one any switch interface learned MAC address reached to 4 then it will send an email as alert.
Any idea? i am trying to work out but cant find any basic EER script any where.
ThanksSee this thread:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2169067?tstart=0
The script there looks at the DHCP pool, but it could be easily modified to look at "show mac address-table" for each port instead. For each port, if the number of lines in the output exceeds your threshold, send an email for that port. -
Recommened book for learning PL/SQL
I've been trying to learn PL/SQL from Oracle's documentation, and I'm a bit tired of it.
All the information is there, but you really need to scan back and forth to collect all the bits you need. It is rather difficult.
Can you recommend a good book? I want to learn all the idea and concepts, not just the syntax. So please don't direct me to "Learn PL/SQL in 21 days".
Thanks.It may be true that one can get away with documentation. However, it greatly depends on your background. If you learn language X, and this is your very first exposure to programming, you won't find documentation inspirational. You will suffer with badly chosen textbook too. As you progress, the matter of a good book becomes less and less important. You may find that for learning your second language you don't need a book, and this is especially true in the era of internet, when there is a great competition among web tutorials.
My apology for not being specific, but the matter of finding a good book is easy -- you just go to amazon, find several with high ASR, and chose the one based upon readers reviews. You will unlikely to expect better feedback to your question here. -
Solution for increment progressive number
Hi all,
I hope that I can explain my problem.
I have the table
ANAGAVVI
and the field
NUME_AVVI NOT NULL VARCHAR2(15)
identify the name of a entity, that has got this simple sintax
XNNNNN
where X can be 'C','P','R','F', relating with the name of different user that insert in table ANAGAVVI by a form asp and a procedure Pl/Sql
The problem is:
the part NNNNN must be a progressive number, that not depend from user that insert, so I can have C0001, P0002, P0003, F0004, C0005, etc...
Now, I use the simple function Max(NUME_AVVI)+1 to calculate this value, before to insert into table and at the end I do commit.
But if two or more users insert at the same moment, it's possibile that two or more users have got the same progressive number.
How can be sure, that doesn't happen?
Thank a lot and I hope that my post is clearThank a lot!
Because, I have just a sequence on this table (for the field CODI_AVVI), that for a several problems, cannot use for the NUME_AVVI field
It's possible to have two difference sequence on ANAGAVVI table, one for CODI_AVVI and one for NUME_AVVI?
This is the part of the pl/sql code, where I do a insert statment
SELECT SQ_ANAGAVVI.NEXTVAL
INTO V_CODICE
FROM DUAL;
BEGIN
INSERT INTO ANAGAVVI (
CODI_AVVI ,
NUME_AVVI ,
VALUES (V_CODICE,
upper(ltrim(rtrim(VC_NUMEAVVI))) ,
where VC_NUMEAVVI is the progressive number, that I've explain in my first post of this discussion.
The VC_USERPROC variable, identify the type of user and can have got only numeric values. For example 1--> 'C', 2-->'P', etccc
Thank's for the patience :)

Creation of New Table for Delivery Output Type.
Hi Guys,
I need to replace an existing table by creating a new Table in the existing Access Sequence with the combination of "Ship to Party/Product Hierarchy".
Logistics>Shipping>basic Shipping functions>Output determination>Maintain Condition Tables-->maintain output condition table for deliveries.
I am choosing a new table by the name 902, but i am not getting the field " PRODH Product Hierarchy" on the right hand side to choose from.
I checked the field catelog also. Firstly the field catelog was also not having the field, and then i added the field in it by choosing new entries.
I guess i am missing some step in between, thats why the new field (PRODH) is not showing on the right hand side while creation of the condition table.
One more thing, when i am seeing the Field Catelog, i am able to see a very large number of fields, then why only a few are appearing during creation of a new table??????
Can you guys correct me and let me find a way.????
Thanks very much indeed.
Regards,
VivekHi If u have already the field in FC u can add with new entries .
Try with ,enter t- code <b>SE11</b>, enter <b>KOMB</b>- it will ask for access key get from basis and add u r Field catalog
Field catalog for condition key: output determination
If at all u want a new field tao add to u r FC u Can try with userexit.
1)ADDING OF NEW FIELDS IN PRICING
In Pricing in SD the fields on the basis of which pricing is done are derived from the FIELD CATALOG which is a structure KOMG .This structure is used to transfer transaction data to the pricing procedure in SD and is also known as communication structure.This structure KOMG consists of two tables KOMK for Header related fields and KOMP for item related fields.
The fields which are not in either of the two tables KOMK and KOMP
cannot be used in pricing .Sometimes a need arises when the pricing
is to be based on some other criteria which is not present in the form of fields in either of the two tables.
This problem can be solved by using USEREXITS which are provided for pricing in SD.
Pricing takes place both when the SALES ORDER ( Transaction VA01) is created as well as when INVOICING ( Transaction VF01) is done.Hence SAP provides 2 userexits ,one for sales order processing which is
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP or
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK
Depending upon which table (KOMK or KOMP) the new fields were inserted we use either of the above two userexits.These userexits are found in include MV45AFZZ of the standard SAP sales order creation program SAPMV45A.
In the case of userexit which will be called when invoicing is done ,these
are provided in the include RY60AFZZ which is in the standard SAP
program SAPMV45A. The name of the userexits are same. i.e
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP or
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK
These userexits are used for passing the data from the communication structure to the pricing procedure, for this we have to fill the newely
created field in the communication structure KOMG for this we fill the code in the above userexit using the MOVE statement after the data that
has to be passed is taken from the database table by using the SELECT statement. The actual structure which is visible in these userexits and which is to be filled for that particular field is TKOMP or TKOMK.
Before the coding for these userexits is done ,it is necessary to create a new field in either of the two tables KOMK or KOMP .For this purpose
includes are provided in each of them .
To create the field in header data(KOMK) the include provided is KOMKAZ
and to create the field in item data(KOMP) the include provided is KOMPAZ.
One possible example for the need of creating new fields can be e.g. Frieght to be based upon transportation zone ,for this no field is available in field catalog and hence it can be created in KOMK and then above userexits can be used to fill the transportation data to it.
2)The other method of finding userexit is to find the word USEREXIT in the
associated program of the transaction for which we want to determine userexit using SE38.
3)The other method of finding userexits is to find the include in case of SD/MM applications where the userexits are located ,this can be found in the SAP reference IMG generally in the subfolder under SYSTEM MODIFICATION.
Some other examples of userexits in SD are:<b></b>
