Tablet Layout- Lightbox widget not centering in device previews. Why?

My lightbox slideshow will not centre in the page on the device previews.
Are the muse device previews accurate? Do I have to publish and test?

Yes, please publish the site as a trial site on BC and then check the actual site on browsers.

Please someone help! Lightbox widget not working...

I was trying to get the Lightbox widget to work on my webpage. I could not get the images to upload in the expandable box like they should. Instead of expanding out like the animated way they should, my Lighbox links kept opening in a new page and causing me to click the back button to see another image in the lightbox. I thought by deleting the lightbox widget and getting a fresh one might help but it seems to made things a lot worse. I was warned by a message that said "by deleting these settings you will not be able to get them back" and I deleted anyway thinking it was fixable. Now I can't fix it. There has to be a way for me to get the lightbox settings back into dreamweaver! Help Please!!!!!

i had the same problem, and then i noticed when in design view view, the web page that contained the lightbox on it was trying to use 5 or 6 other files, like lightbox.js and some other files. i noticed when i clicked on the little files at the top on same bar as Source Code, it gave me an error saying the file is not on my local drive and gave me the option to "get", but when i clicked on "get" nothing happened. I'm assuming you might need those extra files for lightbox to work right?
I don't know currently, and so i tried to "sign" into my widget browser, and i keep getting a timeout error. There's nothing wrong with my internet, so I don't know whats wrong with it.

Lightbox widget not displaying in browser

I placed the lightbox widgets in several pages on my website (http://www.goodwinsanimations.com/) on the pages linked via the Projects and Design page but I the widget is not displaying at all, or only partially in some cases. This is my personal portfolio of work so I really need this fixed asap.

The menu at the top (widget) works but the dropdowns do not display except in the Preview within Muse.

Also, please do a File>Export as HTML and export your website files in a local folder. Check if the local copy works fine or not.
If not, please send your .muse file to us at [email protected] If your file is greater than 20mb you can use something like Adobe SendNow or SendThisFile.
Please do not forget to mention link to this forum in your e-mail so that we can identify the file.

Lightbox widget not showing images

I've installed the 'Lightbox' widget into dreamweaver (CS5) but when I use it on a simple test page in its default format, none of the images appear when tested in a browser. For 'localhost' I have the latest 'Wamp' installation running on Windows XP Pro (fully updated). I've also tried uploading the whole test page with (as far as I can see) all supporting files to my test site with the same failure. What is wrong please?

Have you checked that the paths to the images are the right ones?
For example, if your test page is in a folder called 'test' and you have the following code:
<a href="images/lightboxdemo1.jpg" title=""><img src="images/lightboxdemo_thumb1.jpg" width="72" height="72" alt="Flower" /></a>
it will pointing to the path:
http://yourSite/test/images/lightboxdemo1.jpg
If your images folder is at the site root (http://yoursite/images/), you can change the path to make it relative to the site root adding a slash without problems:
<a href="/images/lightboxdemo1.jpg" title=""><img src="/images/lightboxdemo_thumb1.jpg" width="72" height="72" alt="Flower" /></a>

Lightbox Widget not working in template

Hi there, I have inserted Lightbox widget on page but opens pictures on clicking in a new screen. I have checked files as thought it maybe to do with them being in the wrong place, but they seem to be correct.
To check I created a new page without template & inserted widget & it works. Any ideas what I'm doing
wrong would be much appreciated. Seems something in the template is screwing?

Lightbox widget not displaying correctly in phone or tablet versions

I've created a portfolio pagen using the lightbox/thumbnails for the desktop version which works as it should. But when I recreate the same widget in the tablet or phone versions, the pop-up/lightbox effect appears behind the thumbnails and is persistent. How do I get this to display like the ordinary lightbox in the desktop version?

Images in the full screen lightbox are not centered horizontally on the screen. Is there a way to center the images?

I have tried it in different screen sizes but teh result is all same. Horizontally images are slightly on the right. How can I center the images?

Thanks for your answer. It is ok when using the lightbox without full screen option. When I use the fullscreen option, the container of the image is centered but the image in the container is not. I do center everything but when it comes to full scren there is nothing like centering.

I have no clue why it does this or what happens. The old Lightbox script worked fine, but was a drag to implement.
The tumbnails show fine and all, but every Image I click (even the example images that come with the widget) does this when I click on them:
Suffice to say this is not what it should look like. Size of images doesn't matter as I've tried large and small images and nothing changes.
Any clues on how I could fix this?

Lightbox widget not displaying correctly on iPad

Was wondering why the lightbox on my website www.hug-advertising.co.uk/work.html is working fine when viewed on a desktop
but has started trimming the images when viewed on an iPad. This site was created around about a year ago on a very early version (a new site is currently in development)
of Muse but have only just noticed that this problem is now occuring, any help would be appreciated.

YouTube widget not working in F12 preview

Hi all,
I am having some issues with the YouTube widget. Where previously it has worked in the F12 preview, it now does not. It works after publishing, but this is frustrating because I need to do a lot of fine tuning.
Any suggestions?

The best way to test You Tube (and Web Object) interactions are from a web server. I use XAMPP, it is very easy to set up. During testng, I just publish to that webserver's folder directly and check it on the browser.

YouTube Widget not displaying video in Preview

Dear All,
I've embedded my YouTube share code within the YouTube widget, and the message comes up: "unable to generate thumbnail". When I got to a live preview of the page/site, the YouTube play box comes up, but says: "an error occurred, please try again later." I'm working with the latest update on Muse on an iMac 10.10.3 with Java script turned on and the latest Adobe Flash player installed. I've read all of the bug reports on the YouTube widget, but they were all over six months old and I assumed the bugs should have been fixed with the latest Muse updates. Any suggestions as to why the widget isn't working and how to work around it? Nothing crashes, but it just isn't bringing up the video.

I'll answer my own question after a chat session with Adobe support. When you paste in your video ID from your YouTube share box, don't enter the https://youtu.be/ characters -- just enter your video ID characters that follow after. After entering the ID correctly, the YouTube preview opened up without problems in my "Preview Site in Browser screen". Such a little thing to waste so much time over, so I'm posting it for everyone in the future to see and learn from! I was used to just copying and pasting the entire url, but not so here! I have a Samsung tablet and iTunes will not recognize device to synch

I have recently purchased a movie to download and synch to my Samsung tablet. iTunes will not recognize the device. Everytime I try to bring up movie it wants to keep downloading it. Any suggestions?

Itunes does not sync to non Apple devices.

Problem with Alt Text output from thumbnail image of Lightbox widget

I’m having a problem with the Lightbox widget not producing alternative text based on the image properties. I’ve set ALT text for the image properties on both the larger Ligtbox image as well as the thumbnail. But the HTML output from Muse does not include the ALT text on the thumbnail version of the image. Here’s an example:

This may be a problem that came in a previous release of Muse. I have a few older examples where ALT text is produced, but it’s no longer updated if I update the Image Properties.

I'm seeing the same problem. Looks like a bug to me. Any ideas as to how we can get this on Adobe's bug fix list?

Widgets not functioning correctly on tablet layout

I've noticed that my new ipad is showing my tablet layout of muse website, but some of the widgets are not functioning correctly. I have tried a few widgets for the tablet layout and it has resulted in problems.
Please take a look at www.littlesouth.com for an example of the current error.
