Target of hyperlink in app web changes automatically

We are using some apps in our Intranet. Within an app we want to have hyperlinks in a TextBox linking to other Intranet pages. After having inserted and saved the target url is transformed like this:
http://app0123/SitePages/Homepage.aspx
Originally we wanted to link to
http://intranet/SitePages/Homepage.aspx
It seems that the host url is transformed relatively to the app address.
How can we get around this?

Per my understanding, there is an issue when adding some hardcoded hyperlinks in a SharePoint App.
I tried to reproduce this issue by creating a Napa App as below:

It turns out that the URL stay the same all the time.
I suggest you provide more details about this issue if the steps above don’t match your scenario.

Planning App Web Server changed.

Hello gurús!
I´m in a big issue. In my org, we have 3 physical servers with 3 servers installed: Essbase, Shared Services and Planning. The problem is that we cloned that servers to virtual machines to duplicate these servers. We want to reconfigure that virtualized servers to work like that physical servers. Essbase and Shared Services was reconfigured succefully, but planning had problems with Web Logic licence. For that, we decided to change app web server from web logic to apache tomcat 5. After that, we reconfigure planning using the same instance, data sources and application that were in the source physical server. But it doesn´t work, because planning does not connect with apllications, and Workspace doesn´t not work properly. It only listen at port 45000 and did not at 19000 (like in physical server). Also, workspace cannot connect with planning (if we want to create a planning application it throws these errors: "Invalid or not find module configuration", "Required application module HyperionPlanning.planning is not configured. Please contact your administrator.", "Comunication Error".
Also, when I start workspace from Start->Programs->Hyperion.... In server console it throws a that Warning: "Please initialize the log4j System Properly". This maybe the reason because planning and workspace doesnt write any logs?

What did you do to clone, use a P2V vm conversion? What about hostnames and dns names ? Personally I don't believe trying to clone is a good idea.

Drill Down from chart to webi trigger automatically while changing the combo box seelction

Hi Experts,
The problem is if I select the box in the heat map, it will take me to a webi report then if I come back to the dashboard and change the combo box. The selection is not deselected, As the selection is still there it selects the value in the changed heat map there by automatically triggering the URL and redirecting to Webi Report automatically.
Can any one Please help me to resolve this,i really would appreciate your help.

This is a typical issue when the xcelsius components do not have auto-deselect property.
Try doing this work-around. I have implemented it successfully in one of the previous projects.
Identify one particular destination cell (lets call this cell DEST_CELL here onwards) that is triggering the particular report to open automatically. Now, take a new combo box and use it to insert a blank value in the DEST_CELL everytime DEST_CELL changes its value. Now write a formula in some other cell(lets call is FLAG_CELL) that gives you a "1" when DEST_CELL is not blank and gives you "0" when DEST_CELL is blank. Use this FLAG_CELL to fire the URL. Do not fire URL on change event, fire it when FLAG_CELL is "1".

I am facing some prblm when i create hyperlink at particular column then measures column is automatically change with #####.I don't know where i m doing wrong.
Second thing after creating hyperlink report i m not able to pass prompt value from one report to other report.When i pass prompt value then it shows some error like 'MDX.measures' in second report.
Kindly help me ASAP.

Are you saying that you're still seeing #UNAVAILABLE even after setting the aggregation for your measure to SUM in the universe? Are you sure? You need to set the aggregation function on the Properties tab for the measure.
Remember that ##### is not an error, it only means your column isn't wide enough.
Are you trying to pass a measure to a prompt, or a dimension?
Whenever you're having trouble with passing prompts via a hyperlink, first you must forget about the source report and try and launch the destination report just by pasting the URL into IE. Once you've got that right, then try making that hyperlink in a Webi report.

My Config (both web and Machine config) files are not changed. Anti Virus is not scanning or changing these files.

I see by your post that the printer's IP address changed automatically and you can't use the printer now. I can help you with this.
From the Configuration page, get the printer's IPV4 address, try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
Type the IP address into your web browser's address bar. (Internet Explorer)
Printing a Configuration Page.
If you can still access the printer's Embedded Web Server, then create a new port with the new IPV4 address.
Go to start, devices and printers, right click the printer, go to printer properties, select the ports tab.
Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, then select New Port and follow the wizard.
Type in the proper IP address for the printer.
Make sure the printer is online.
Test the printer.
Setup a Static IP address for the printer, this way the printer will keep the assigned port.
Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection.
Disregard the title. Under Windows, go to Solution four: Assign your printer a static IP address.
Just use the IPV4 address already assigned to the printer.

I did a bit of testing today and discovered, that the connection doesn't close, only when I exit OVI Store (this happens with WLAN and also with 3G/UMTS connection).
When I exit any other app (e.g. Browser, Opera, ...) the connection closes automatically after I have closed down the app.
So this must have something to do with the OVI Store, probably with the new version as I cannot remember to have experienced this until some days ago.

How to export Web Provider automatically

I need your experience on Portal 9iAs rel 2, on how to esport web providers automatically.
I explain better: I use the export utility, (a very good utility) to export my pagegroup and all portlet reference.
I didn't find any Oracle Exp Procedure to make a logical export of my web providers (All my Web Portal is developped with Web Providers).
After making a logical export, after making a copy of my applciation, when I access in the providers builder to edit portelt, I find the old url... so I have to change all url reference... Is it possible ????
Please tell me if exist some export procedure to copy my web portlet online.

AFAIK, there's no template for generating web.xml.
Navigate to <TomcatInstallDir>/webapps/
You would find lot of directories - each one being a web application.
Navigate to any one, say ROOT and then to the WEB-INF directory
under that.
You would find a web.xml.
Copy it into your <web-application-dir>/WEB-INF folder and make necessary changes

Apps, yes. Embedded in a web-page, no.
Specifically, a FLEX application bundled as an iOS app and sold through the App Store or distributed ad hoc using an enterprise license will work just fine.
Embedded FLASH (e.g., in a web-page) requires that the browser have a Flash plug-in. iOS doesn't support browser plug-ins, and Adobe dropped development and support for mobile versions of Flash (iOS and Android) a year ago (and laid off the staff related to it), so there will never be one. For what it's worth, Adobe has made it clear that it's also going to drop support for desktop browser plugins as well in the near future (in part because of the wider array of browsers requiring support, and also because Microsoft is dropping browser plugin support from their Windows 8 Metro browser and from their Windows RT browsers).
Going forward, Adobe presumes everyone will stick with HTML5+JavaScript in browsers and a FLEX will be used for standalone application development. They are already modifying their products to reflect this change.

Accessing List of Host Web from App Web in ie8 not working SP.RequestExecutor.js and "http"

I have a SharePoint Hosted app and Client Hosted webpart where I can calling a list sitting on HostWeb.
I am using SP.RequestExecutor.js to do this. everything works fine and I am able to see this is in Chrome and FF, But in ie8 I was getting cross domain issue.
I have added this doctype to force the browser to use ie8 standard mode

Now it started working in ie8.
What I observed is when I deploy the code on to my cloud its working fine but on-prim on my dev box its not working.
Only change between both is on prim Host Web and App Web are "http" and cloud its "https". Is it mandatory that to work SP.RequestExecutor.js on ie8 both the web's should be https?. Please advise

Move current installed plugin to disabled folder. Then force a symbolic link from /System to create a new plugin.

Test Java Plug-ins again http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
Should report Version 6 Update 45. Which is what was released from Apple on 04/16. I attempted to install Version 7 Update 21 and it disables the Safari plug-in again.

Apps Screen loads automatically

Help. My LG Cosmos (not touchscreen) loads the Shop Apps screen automatically when it's been sitting unused for a while and I touch OK to unlock. I have been to the Verizon store twice to get it to stop and no one can seem to help me. Does anyone know how to stop this. I also get little messages about local weather, etc that are unwanted. I feel like I am being forced to put up with these "commercials" for Verizon....

Got a reply to my email to Verizon Support. Not sure if it will work, but I tried changing all my Shortcut settings to Messages. Try it to see if it works for you.

sounds like one of the directional keys may be set to a shortcut to the
Media Center menu and you may accidently be pressing it when you go to

directional keys shortcuts:
              1). From the main screen, press OK to choose MENU
              2). Select Settings & Tools then press OK
              3). Select Phone Settings then press OK
              4). Select Set Shortcuts then press OK
              5). Select Set Directional Keys then press OK
              6). Select a directional key then press OK to choose SET
              7). Press the right soft key to choose Options, select the desired reset option then press OK

InDesign CC fails during update - issue has lasted approx 6 weeks - have deleted app, no change.
The update process for InDesign is broken.
Need this fixed.

It's the same issue that - apparently - has existed for YEARS.
The installer can't find a file it thinks should be named a certain way and stops trying. Even though Adobe is the part responsible for naming files.
The programmers haven't included any sort of troubleshooting scenarios in their updater. And they haven't kept up with all the ways they name files in various versions.
It's this error from the log file:
ERROR: DS015: Unable to read symlink target of source file "/Applications/Adobe Media Encoder CC/Adobe Media Encoder CC.app/MediaIO/codecs/MCMPEG4VideoCodec.framework/MCMPEG4VideoCodec"(Seq 11)
I've done all the troubleshooting of this Adobe programming issue I'm going to do.
Adobe knows about this issue and needs to update the software manager.
I'm extremely unhappy that I'm paying $600 a year for Adobe to write crap software and expect ME to troubleshoot their junk.
I don't NEED Adobe software. I'm on the verge of canceling my subscription.
This is completely unacceptable.
