Targeting object from behind a mask?

I have run into an interesting problem. I load a swf into a
movie and that loaded swf creates an xml object and loads the xml.
The loaded movie is a map that the user can click and drag, so I
put it behind a mask to frame it. The mask is on the loader movie.
But when I put it behind the mask the xml object breaks. Remove the
mask, and it is fixed. Is this documented somewhere? Does anyone
have any idea why this would work this way?

you're lacking one (or more) of color_mc.color1,...,color_mc.color5.
to find the first use the trace function:
import fl.transitions.Tween;
import fl.transitions.easing.None;
var t1:Tween;
var t2:Tween;
var colorNum:int = 5;
for(var i:int=1;i<=colorNum;i++){
trace(i);  // the last value of i you see in the output panel is the first movieclip that isn't defined.
color_mc["color1"+i].buttonMode=true;
color_mc["color1"+i].addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,tweenA);
color_mc["color2"+i].buttonMode=true;
color_mc["color2"+i].addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,tweenB);
color_mc["color3"+i].buttonMode=true;
color_mc["color3"+i].addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,tweenC);
color_mc["color4"+i].buttonMode=true;
color_mc["color4"+i].addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,tweenD);
color_mc["color5"+i].buttonMode=true;
color_mc["color5"+i].addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,tweenE);
function tweenA(e:MouseEvent):void{
t1=new Tween(e.currentTarget,"scaleX",None.easeNone,1,1.5,.5,true);
t2=new Tween(e.currentTarget,"scaleY",None.easeNone,1,1.5,.5,true);

  • How to move my objects from behind?

    Can somebody tell me how we can move "Tekst kopia" object instead of touching "Tekst" object?
    I checked a "Tekst kopia" and then I want to drag & drop this copy of my text. But when I do that, a "Tekst" objects makes chosen.
    I try even click by right mouse button on "Tekst" on the workspace and from selected list (then we will se a pop-up with their names) change "Tekst copy" and then move. But result was the same. How to do that?

    In the Options for the Move tool, make sure "Auto-Select" is NOT checked.

  • How can I bend an object to come from behind a page?

    I am trying to take the branch below and give it a "wrap around" effect so it looks like it is coming from behind the background.
    Very much like this:
    Are there any tools I could use to take the existing image and give it that appearance or would I have to manually draw in the effect?

    Take the blue background and put it on its own layer, so the branch is a seperate layer from the background. Now you can scale the background or apply a mask to it.
    For the branch just apply a drop shadow style to that layer, play with the opacity, position and the highlight/shadow values.

  • Error removing object from cache with write behind

    We have a cache with a DB for a backing store. The cache has a write-behind delay of about 10 seconds.
    We see an error when we:
    - Write new object to the cache
    - Remove object from cache before it gets written to cachestore (because we're still within the 10 secs and the object has not made it to the db yet).
    At first i was thinking "coherence should know if the object is in the db or not, and do the right thing", but i guess that's not the case?

    Hi Ron,
    The configuration for <local-scheme> allows you to add a cache store but you cannot use write-behind, only write-through.
    Presumably you do not want the data to be shared by the different WLS nodes, i.e. if one node puts data in the cache and that is eventually written to a RAC node, that data cannot be seen in the cache by other WLS nodes. Or do you want all the WLS nodes to share the data but just write it to different RAC nodes?
    If you use a local-scheme then the data will only be local to that WLS node and not shared.
    I can think of a possible way to do what you want but it depends on the answer to the above question.

  • Target object on stage from within Class

    Hi,
    I have a custom class which uses some buttons on the stage. Or at least is trying to.
    say have this code in the customClass.as file
    package{
         import flash.events.*;
         import flash.display.MovieClip
         public class customClass{
              public function customCLass (){

              private function btnOVER (e:MouseEvent):void{
                  btn.gotoAndStop('over');
    The Lines marked in red throw me this kind of error:
    1120: Access of undefined property btn.

    I am creating the class in a sepparate file.
    when i create an object in this class i pass another object to the class from the timeline. That returns no errors.
    I create objects from the timeline like this:

  • How can we import object from 1 user to another user using DATA PUMP

    hi,
    i have taken full export by EXPDP( data pump) now i want to import user objects from target user of one database to another user of different database.
    plz reply me solution
    Thanks

    Hi,
    impdp 'user/user@db' DIRECTORY=DATA_PUMP_DIR(DEFAULT) DUMPFILE=FILENAME.dmp LOGFILE=IMPORT.LOG REMAP_SCHEMA=SOURCE SCHEMA:TArget SCHEMA
    1.Before Import check whether user importing has read,write on directory.
    2.Always Try to Add logfile clause This will help.
    3.Add TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION=REPLACE if you want target schema tables to be replaced by source schema table(if both has same table)

  • Can I create a network object from CIDR format or do I need to use IP - netmask?

    Have a cisco ASA running ASA V 8.3
    Wondering what the correct syntax is or even if it is possible to create a network object from a list of IP's in CIDR format?
    Typically just do this:
    Create network-object
    object-group network name
    network-object 1.2.3.0 255.255.255.0
    Would like to do this:
    network-object 1.2.3.0/24
    thanks!

    Hi,
    As far as I know the ASA does not support entering a network/subnet mask in such format in any of its configurations.

  • Reloading a single object from DB to cache

    Hello:
    We are using near+distributed caches with read-through/write-behind persistence to DB.
    While doing support, sometimes we need to modify a single field of an object (for whatever reason).
    It looks like Coherence way to do this would be map.put() resulting in async invocation of CacheStore. The problem in our case is that we do not have UI facilities for modifying object fields. Before Coherence we went to DB, modified a single row via SQL query and it was picked up by the app. It was very convenient since we did not have to reconstruct the object which often contains data from several tables, one or more rows from every table.
    So the question is whether it is possible to make Coherence re-read an object from DB even if it is already in cache.
    Thanks!

    One object but it differs for different users ?
    Then it's an object per user, and you should store it in the session.
    Why do you think this is a performance overhead ?

  • Passing complex object from JavaScript to Flex

    Is it possible to call a Flex function (defined with ExternalInterface.addCallback) and pass a complex object from Javascript?  The properties of the object are all simple types, but the object itself is an array of objects.  For example:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var arrayOfObj = [ { one: "one", two: 2, three: "blah" }, { one: "xyz", two: "abc", three: 3.141 } ];
    callSomeFunctionInFlex(arrayOfObj);
    </script>
    What would I do on the Flex side to make this happen?

    Complex object passing works as expected in Blazeds.
    There are certain cases where you need to write custom bean proxy classes to marshall an object, but your case is very simple and will not require it.
    Make sure that you set the full java package and class name in your remote alias statement on your client value object.  The class has to be fully qualified.  The AS value object also needs the correct import of the nested value object or you will get a compile error.
    Make sure that the blazeds server has the full class path set to your java objects.
    To debug, you can turn on Blazeds logging in the services-config.xml file like this:
       <logging>
            <!-- You may also use flex.messaging.log.ServletLogTarget -->
            <target class="flex.messaging.log.ConsoleTarget" level="DEBUG">
                <properties>
                    <prefix>[BlazeDS]</prefix>
                    <includeDate>false</includeDate>
                    <includeTime>false</includeTime>
                    <includeLevel>true</includeLevel>
                    <includeCategory>false</includeCategory>
                </properties>
            </target>
        </logging>

  • How to copy objects from Pages (5.5.1) and paste it into Photoshop as a vector smart object with high resolution?

    I recently have bought a new Macbook Pro (Version 10.10.1) with the OS X Yosemite. The computer comes with the new Pages (version 5.5.1).
    Here is the problem: I like to create artwork using the shapes on Pages. Previously, on my old mac, I used Pages 4.3 to create objects, which I would copy then paste to Photoshop and it would become a vector smart object. However, in the new Pages (version 5.5.1), when I copy objects, they would appear on Photoshop as instead, a layer and it would not be in full resolution.
    Also, I know there is nothing wrong with the Pages file itself because I have converted the document to PDF form and it is high resolution when inserted into Photoshop that way.
    Does anyone know how I can copy individual objects from Pages (5.5.1) and paste it into Photoshop as a vector smart object with high resolution as I have done before?
    Thanks!

    ghotiz wrote:

    Oh, well if you don't actually need vector objects then it looks like this is possible. As I said earlier, Pages is putting a PNG on the clipboard. I tested it and it does paste into Photoshop as a transparent layer, because I can see the transparent background of the pasted PNG graphic if I either turn off all layers behind it in Photoshop, or if I start a new Photoshop document to paste into but make sure I choose Transparent for the Background Contents in the New Document dialog.

  • How to extract an object from a complicated background?

    any good ideas how to extract a detailed object from a complicated background in Photoshop CC 2014 ?

    I hear you and I agree.  Yes, some images lend themselves better to automated masking tools than others.  I've had a few cases where the tools delivered spectacular results, and others where they wouldn't even get close.  More often they help you get closer more quickly, then you have to do some hand touchup.
    Some images where the process Russell describes worked pretty well...

    Can you post all or part of your image?  Perhaps with more specifics the suggestions can get more specific...

  • Moving object from one client to another using transport requests...

    Hi,
    If we want to move one object from one client to another, we go to se09 and release it. I know this. But after release what are the next steps to move it from one system to another ?
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Hello Rajesh
    If the two systems share a <u>common</u> transport directory then you can simply go to transaction <b>STMS</b>, double-click on the <b>import queue</b> (target system), then choose menu <b>Extras -> Other Requests -> Add.</b>
    The transport request will be added to the import buffer. Next you can import the request.
    If the two systems do not share a common transport directory you can use RFC-enabled function module <b>EPS_FTP_PUT</b> to copy the data and cofile from the source to the target system (check for <b>DIR_TRANS</b> directories using transaction AL11).

  • Error "Only edit objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR in local requests"

    Hey, SAP gurus,
    After I applied OSS note 1149445 in our Dev box to fix the bug in program /VIRSA/ZVFAT, I had problem to realease the transport. I got the error u201COnly edit objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR in local requestsu201D.
    u201CObjects in package /VIRSA/ZVIR cannot be edited in transportable Workbench requests in the current Dev system. The transport routes are configured such that objects from package /VIRSA/ZVIR can only be edited in local Workbench requests.u201D
    What can I do to release the transport and move it to our QA box?
    Thanks in advance!
    Fisher Li

    My co-worker and I followed SAP instruction on this one and solve the issue.
    We created a "transport of copies" by using Transaction SE01. Go to the request overview and choose Request/task -> Object list -> Include objects to include the "child transport number of my transport" in this "transport of copies". Add the target system and release the change request.
    Thanks!

  • Error : Only edit objects from package ZSD in local requests

    Hi Experts,
    We are modifying all Z-programs to unicode enabled programs in ECC6.0 Upgradation. While doing this we are not able to save it as a transportable request. It displays error as "Only edit objects from package ZSD in local requests".
    So can anyone tell me how to save it as a transportable request.
    Thanks,
    Ranjith C.

    Hi,
    two ways:
    1. change the transport type: create transport type copy in se01 and copy all mentioned objects to that transport
    2. better way: correct development class and transport layer
    case a.  target system was not definied (not known to TMS) or is empty
    case b.  source system (original system for objects) not known to TMS
    case c.  objects assigned to local package (former local development class)
    etc.
    If you don't understand this explanation, just use one of Z transport layers showed in stms, by changing the transport layer in the definition of the package (se80) to shown in STMS (link name from source to targed system)
    Kind regards,

  • Losing source-target mapping from a data flow diagram process

    Hi,
    When I reload a model design from an xml repository, I am losing source-target mappings from a data flow diagram process. I wonder why.
    The way it goes is:
    - I define a data flow diagram with information stores, processes, and flows.
    - Information structures are defined from the flows and the information trickles down to processes and information stores.
    - In a process, I define Source-Target Mapping by selecting a target element and then selecting the source element(s).
    - I save the whole model.
    - So far, the Source-Target Mapping keeps the association between target and source elements.
    - If I exit from Data Modeler, the next time I reload the saved model, the Source-Target Mapping target to source elements associations are lost!?
    Does anyone have the same issue or would know how to resolve it?
