Task related to Desktop Innserpage ?

I have developmed a component which allows users to enter/update data which is populated from R/3 system.
Now my entries for the jap pages are ..
<form method="post" action="<par_file>.<comp_name>" target="_self">
</form>
Result of button click on "SAVE" occupies whole "Desktop Innerpage" rather than refreshing the iView in content area.
Any kind of help is appreciated.
Surely points can be given to helpful answers.

HI,
Set the Isolation Method of your iView to URL isolated.

This will created your IView in IFrame and only update itselves instead of whole Innerpage.

Webpart won't show tasks related to the list item

I have a 'Complaints' task webpart that's displayed under a (list) display form. The tasks are created by a workflow, when a complaint is created. I can get all of the tasks to appear in the webpart, but I can't filter it - I'm wanting the tasks relating
to the specific complaint to appear in the webpart, but I can't seem to get this to work.
I've tried several ways:
creating a new calculated field to extract the ID from the hyperlink in the 'Link' column (*ID='12'). In the webpart I connected the complaint 'Id' to the new calculated field.
Created a new calculated field to extract the Title from the hyperlink in the 'Link' column (*ID=12, 'Complaint against B & M Builders'). In the webpart I connected the complaint 'Title' to the new calculated field.
*Can't display the whole hyperlink for privicy reasons.
Any ideas how I can get this webpart to work?
There's a similar question 'Webpart to show related tasks', but the solution involves using Designer - I was wondering if it can be done at the front end.

So if you're creating a task via workflow, put the current item (complaint) ID into the Task in a column called RelatedComplaintID. Then on the page, connect the two web parts together and bind ID to RelatedComplaintID.

I came to know that task has status like unreleased, pending, queued, dispatched, active, loaded and completed.
What is the table name, If their is a specific table that can hold the status of all the status, if not what are all tables that are getting effected in this process.
for example:
order number has status and it is maintained in or_order_headers and oe_order_lines. as the process changes wsh_deliveries, wsh_delivery_details, wsh_delivery_assignments,... etc will get effected.
The similar way, in our case what is the main derived table like(order_headers, lines) and if their is a process what will be the underlined tables which are getting effected.

I assume that a super admin user does not get these error messages, right? If so, this behaviour might come due to missing permissions on PCD objects for the user rubinmd. Please apply note 792370 which explains how to set end user permission on the pcd folder com.sap.ip.collaboration/Rooms

Workplan Task related queries

Hi,
I created tasks through workplan in Project management. But these tasks are not visible in Projects (tasks - forms).
Can anyone please help me out understand why this is happening or is this the standard function?
If this is the standard functionality then there is a mismatch of tasks within the same project.

It may be related to your configuration of project structures, if you are using Project Management.
If you enable shared structures - the workplan tasks are identical to the finacial structure tasks.
However, if the financial and workplan structures are different than the workplan tasks are not chargeable and will not apprear in the project costing forms.

Task related information

I am trying to add my custom object as related information in the task page. I have done the whole application customization>related information layout> and created the new layout, then went in to step 5 and made the custom object related info layout I just created. I also added it to related info in step 4. It says it's all there and there is full access, but I do not see my custom object anywhere on task detail.

I'm having similar problems here with CO10 not showing up as related info for SR. Suggest you open a TAR with support. No problems raised when performed similar steps with CO02.

Limit on Task "Related Item" fields

Good Afternoon,
There is a field on a standard out of the box Task item in SharePoint 2013 Online called "Related Items" that a user can add links to related SharePoint items. There seems to be a limit of 9 items that you can add. After that,
new items that you add are not stored to the task, cannot be dislayed displayed and the Version history does not show any new items added after number 9:
Does anyone know if this limitation is documented anywhere and if there is a way to change the limit to a higher number? Is this limit applicable to all 2013 Tasks or just SharePoint Online?

I can't find any documentation about the "Related items" maximum items, based on the sp.ui.relateditems.js (located in 15 folder on SharePoint server on-premise) the Related Items used, I think the maximum 9 items of adding and rendering is hardcoded
in js file, it is hard or impossible to modify the js file. The limitation is related to "Related items" field, so it is applicable to all 2013 Tasks in SharePoint Online and On-premise.

I use the task list on my Blackberry Curve a lot. I would like to be able to synchronize my list and then manage it on my desktop. I do not use MS outlook. Is there any front-end app that I can use to manage the list on my desktop???

Task Manager Not loading Properly. Giving Error No more threads can be created in the System.NAPStatus UI and Some other Task related Errors

I have a problem with the Task Scheduler. It is not opening properly it is giving Error Message box at this time i am unable to post. The Tasks Scheduler is starts with a error alert "No more threads can be created in the System.NAPStatus UI".
I am unable to view the history of the tasks schecduled.It is giving message as
"The user account does not have permission to Access the Task History."
How to fix it. It is frustrating as can't able to track my Tasks and Create new Tasks. Any Suggestions helpful.

Task related to timesheet entries

i have the task TS 20000460 which is relateed to time sheet entries with the default rule 00000157 for determining the superior positon and the custom user exit
(cats0008) for determining the approver the task is set in the data entry profile
and everything is fine in the production environment but suddenly we get a issue from the end user saying that the notification to the managers not being sent what could be the probale reason
RH_ACT_LEADING_POSITION is the Fm used in the rule

What do you mean by notification? The task or an e-mail notifying the user of new tasks? If it is the task, check SWIA or SWI1 to see if the task is started around the time the time sheet is saved. You can then check the logging for any problems.
If it is a notification check in scot if mails are being sent, or even if the emails are being created.

Missing Class = "Monitor" from registry related to Desktop monitor

There is certain registry key named "Class" under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DISPLAY\Default_Monitor\...\" with value as "Monitor" is missing.
I need to get desktop monitor information via EDID on check for Class = "Monitor".
What is the reason for this missing registry key?

Any App that will bi-directionally sync iPod Touch with Windows Desktop Outlook 2010 Tasks?

iPod Touch 3rd gen iOS v 5.1.1
iTunes (for Windows) v 10.7.0.21
Windows 7 32 bit Desktop PC
Outlook 2010 32 bit with POP3 mail server
Appigo ToDo app on iPod Touch
I reside in Canada
I have been using Appigo's ToDo Task Manager app on my Touch for almost 3 years now. With their Appgio Sync conduit, I have been able to seemlessly bi-directionally sync between the Touch and Outlook Tasks on my Desktop. Now Appigo is no longer going to support Appigo Sync. I can keep using this sync conduit BUT I will no longer be able to update my Touch's ToDo app (eventually that will be a problem).
I DO NOT use iCloud and do NOT wish to use iCloud. I also do not wish to keep my tasks (which do contain confidential information) on anyone else's cloud server. Hence, I need the ability to direct sync between my Touch and my desktop.
I've been searching the web and the App Store looking for either a way to keep using ToDo with another sync method, OR another app that will allow syncing between the it on the Touch and my Desktop.
I don't care about syncing emails since they get downloaded on my Touch regardless. I don't care about syncing Calendars and Contacts since that happens whenever I sync my Touch to iTunes. Just Outlook Tasks that need to be synced. I also don't care for Reminders - seems like a waste of space IMHO.
I can't be the only person on the planet that doesn't want to use a cloud server, doesn't have an email exchange server and wants to keep tasks in both handheld device and desktop in sync. Please, please, please, any and all suggestions and help will be most appreciated!! IF I need to go to iOS v 6+, then I will need to purchase a new iPod Touch; a huge expense when the Touch I have is still working fine (but if one has to, one has to).

I'm in a similar position. Just recently migrated to iPhone from Blackberry (and liking it) but would only do so after confirming that I could sync Outlook tasks to the iPhone. Using ToDo and Appigo sync was the solution and it has worked fine. And I deal with Calendar and Contacts in a similar fashion as you.
I'm not sure I understand the options. I don't have a basic "cloud as a process objection" and cost isn't an issue.But I do want my tasks to end up synced on both my laptop (on the hard drive) and on my iPhone (and soon to come iPad). A variation on your question. Is there no way to do this?
