Tax balance sheet Dep area in Asset Accounting

Can anyone tell me how to configure Depreciation area taxbalance sheet for india. Highly appreciated

Configuration steps:
Copy Reference COD/Depreciation Areas (EC08) select Copy/Delete dep areas in this select Income Tax check box.
Go to OAYZ - Deactive Income Tax
AS01 - Depreciation Area Tab - give dep key for Income Tax, which will show in AW01N
*Book Dep - shows in Balance sheet
Income Tax -  Tax Authority purposes* only.

    Hi,
    Is it the Z message?, if so validations are hitting this message.
    'posting without tax allowed ' has a relevancy  only when you have tax category being filled up on the master data.

    a have created new condition type for PO maintained the same Pricing procedure also .now my problem is while doing miro it is showing an error that " No taxes on sales/purch.are allowed for account 174600 1000, V0 is no is not allowed "

    Fo to FS00 enter your GL and company code go to change made and then go to contoal data tab and then in Tax category
    select * or as per your requirment.

    Dear Shameer
    Go to FS00, input the G/L Account and click on Control Data tab. There maintain asterisk (like star) mark against the field "Tax Category"  This should solve your problem.

  • Cumulative Balances in PCA Balance Sheet cube are not correct.

    Could you please help me in sorting out this Issue.
    Cumulative Balances in PCA Balance Sheet cube are not correct.
    After doing a reconciliation my conclusions are:
    Opening balance for 2005 (fiscal period 009.2005) is not in BW
    Opening balance for 2006 (fiscal period 000.2006) is not in BW
    Opening balance for 2008 (fiscal period 000.2008) is not in BW
    Opening balance for 2009 (fiscal period 000.2009) is not in BW.
    With the exception of fiscal year 2007(opening balance is in BW u2013 000.2007) the cumulative balance resets itself at the start of each fiscal year. The attached spreadsheet has an example of the data in BW and screen dumps from R3.
    Please help me how to find Opening balance in BW for PCA

    you need to derive your begining balance based on the fiscal year in your selection. It will be minus 1 year and period 12 for that year.

    a) Is V0 a input tax? Go to FTXP enter the country, enter the tax code and click on the icon properties that would tell you if this is a input tax or output tax with indicator "A" and "V" . If V0 is a input tax then
    b) Go to transaction FS00 and check the tax setting for the GL accounts please enable posting with taxes with "*" and then post the document then it should work

    Trying to answer your question, can you please let me know what do you mean by "<b>Z3</b>"??
    Also if my understanding is correct, 413001 is the respective GL account for Excise Duty Payable and 1000 is your Sales Org??  Correct me if I am wrong.

    Hi,
    Goto the GL account and mark the Tax Category in Control Data to * (all taxes allowed).  This will solve ur issue.

    This is a setting done by FI during G/L account master data creation. Hence the issue. Use T Code FS00 and check the control data for the relevant G/L account. Take the help of the FI consultant to make the changes.

  • Profit Center wise balance sheet and Profit and Loss account

    Hi Experts,
    I will explain my scenario
    The is cleint having Head Office for handling procurement of goods for all branches(8) and the physical delivery happens for goods at the requested branch and GR and IR also makin at the branch level.
    And we are treated each branch as profit center apart from HO(profit center).But the vendor payment should be happen from HO(prfoit center) so and they are not using automatic payment programme.
    My question is
    1.While doing the vendor (Branch)payment from Cash/Bank GL (HO) how the balances will be tallied ?
    2.If I am using the document splitting and zero balance document clearing will it tally at the profit center level ?
    3.At the period end if I will do the 1KEK T Code to transfer the payables to the profit center which profit center system will take for posting ?
    Please advice me in this and I will give good points with correct answer.

    Please find answers to your questions below:
    1.While doing the vendor (Branch)payment from Cash/Bank GL (HO) how the balances will be tallied ?
    Answer: The Profit Center balances will get automatically tallied due to document splitting and Zero balance account being defined properly.  The automatically identifies it
    2.If I am using the document splitting and zero balance document clearing will it tally at the profit center level ? 
    Answer: Yes that is the main criteria to get full fledged Balance sheet and P&L account by Profit Center
    3.At the period end if I will do the 1KEK T Code to transfer the payables to the profit center which profit center system will take for posting ?
    Anwer: With Document Splitting, you don't have to do the period end transaction in PC to transfer the account payables, accouts receivables and fixed assets.  The transfer is online and real time basis.

  • Screen Layout for Dep Area in Assete master.

    Hi,
    I am trying to display the fields "Expired Useful Life & Expired life -Period" in Dep areas tab of assets master.
    My screen layout is 1000 Dep on main asset level.
    i have assign this to Dep area in OAYZ.
    I made these 2 filed optional in screen layout,even though i am not able to see these fields in asset master.
    When i tried to other fields , it got effected.
    What is the reason behind this?
    Please provide me the solution to display these fields in asset master.

    I checked all stated things.It is right.
    Still i m not able to see it in master.
    When i go to envirnment in aso2, it shows the screen layout rule with these fields as optional.
    So i am not able to understand ,how to bring that fields?

  • Deactivation of dep area in asset master data

    Hi,
    I am trying to deactivate a dep area in an asset.
    I could see deactivation check box available in AS03, but when it comes to AS02, I am not able to see the deactivation indicator column and also does not appear if I double click and go inside dep area details in As02.
    I check screen layout for dep areas applicable and screen layout mentions deactivation indicatoy is optional.
    So how could I deactivate in AS02 now?

    It is no authorization issue.. It is expected and standard behaviour
    You cant deactivate any dep area in the asset master once you create and SAVE.. In the current circumstances,
    a. Put a deletion flag in the Asset Master... If any values are posted in it, then scrap the asset w/o revenue
    b. Create a new asset and deactivate the Dep Area in it

    You need to get this changed by your FICA consultant(s) using FS00. In Control data tab strip, tax category should be * and Postings with out tax allowed shud be selected.
    If you already have balances in this GL, suggest you get help from a technical consultant to change it in debugging mode in tables SKA1/SKB1 <<assuming that you are in dev/testing client..if in production..there shud be SAP note available on how to change the GL Master data when docs exist. Just search for that Note  in OSS >>.

  • Capture balances in dep area for reporting purposes

    We use standard depr. area 01 for postings to GL. We have created area 50 for replacement value
    When we settle or amortise assets area 01 gets updated but area 50 doesn't - is there a way to get values recorded in area 50 so for reporting purposes we can see current replacement values? Right now its zero
    In addition we'd like to have some sort of index on the replacement value lets say linked to inflation index etc, something like that, so that for e.g. our buildings have a book value of $1 million but replacement value is $2 million after indexing has been applied

    Hey, this is the error I'm getting when I'm trying to do "Release to Accounting" in VF02.... The 413000 G/L A/c is a discount account and it has nothing to do with taxes.... I'm attaching the screen shot...Appreciate any help in this regard...

    It might have a tax entry either correct the GL account master FS00 to allow taxes. or key in correct GL account number.
