Tax Category - Bdoc Error

Hi Gurus,
Tax number categories on the CRM and ECC match each other The business Partners got loaded correctly. We are noticing few bdocs with the following errors "The tax number for tax number category XXX is already maintained"
Mentioned Tax category is maintained in both CRM and ECC system
Can you please let me know how to correct the error Bdocs
We are in CRM 7.0 and ECC 7.0
Thanks,
Krishna

Hi Krishna,
You need to check in Bdocs for the BP's this issue is appearing, note down that BP number check in ECC (XD03) that whether the data (Tax, VAT etc) is correct there or not. Sometimes we see that data is not correct in customer master data and due to that bdocs gets failed.

  • BUPA BDoc Error "Tax Number Category IN0 Does Not Exist"

    Hi,
I have a Bdoc error that I am working on.
The BUPA_MAIN BDoc has a error message "Tax Number Category IN0 Does Not Exist".
What object will be responsible in getting the Tax Number and Tax Type from R/3 to CRM?.
This Tax Type Category No 'IN0', does not exist in R/3 table TFKTAXNUMTYPE, But still it is coming in the Bdoc from R/3. Is there a possibility that this value exists in any other table. It looks like this 'IN0' is standard SAP delivered value.
There is also a note regarding this for you reference, Note no. 407719
    Thanks in advance,
    Reagrds,
    Siva Vutukuri.

    Hi Siva,
Go to transaction R3AM1 and check whether you have downloaded the object DNL_CUST_TAX or not.
Also you can maintain the Tax Number Category IN0 in transaction SPRO.
    Follow the mentioned link below:-
SPRO->IMG->Cross application components-> SAP BP->BP-> basic settings-> Tax Number Categories->Maintain tax number categories.
Here you can maintain the category IN0.
    After that reporcess the BDOCs.

  • Error msg 'Tax category UTX2 is not defined for country US' in RMDATIND

    Hello,
We just upgraded our system from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 and have been using RMDATIND (BMV0) to load new materials into SAP. This worked fine in 4.6C, but now we keep getting the error 'Tax category UTX2 is not defined for country US'. It is error msg M3019.
I'm assuming that there is some configuration change we must make, but have not found the correct one so far.
Can someone guide us as to what changes we must make to be able to load new materials into our SAP system without getting this error message?
      Thank-you,
      Rick

I wanted to delete this message as I felt it was in the wrong section, but I cannot find out how to delete a message.

  • Error in SMW01as Tax Category No IN0 Does not exist

    Hi ,
While Monitering the replication from R/3 to CRM,there is an Error as Tax Category No IN0 does not exist in Tcode SMW01.
    Please give asolution to me.
    Regards,
    divya

    Hi,
It's probably missing customizing in your CRM system. You'll need to transfer the customizing from your R/3 system.
    Try starting download object DNL_CUST_TAX.
If this doesn't work, then you'll need to figger out what table the error is referring to and search that specific table in the download objects.

  • How to modify a wrong tax category in the G/L master

    Hi, SAP experts,
    1. User using T-code "FS00" to create an operating expense G/L account '6492009', but choose the wrong Tax category( '>'
output tax)  on the tab 'Control Data'.  It still create a cost element anyway.
    2. Then user create/post billing with the entries Dr. AR Cr. 6492009 and a cost center value can be assigned correctly.
    3. Now user using T-code "F-02" to post an adjust FI document, but meet the error message 'Account 6492009 requires an
assignment to a CO object'. But because of  the wrong Tax category, nowhere we can input the cost center value.
    4. Even we try to modify wrong Tax category back, we meet the error message "Changing the tax code not possible,
      accoutn has a balance".
Here are my two questions: 1. Why the accounting document posted from the Billing is correct and normal
disregarding the wrong Tax category setup? It shouldn't be posted successfully.  2. How do we change the tax category
in the G/L master from  ( '>' output tax)  to ( '+' Only output tax allowed)  under the balance is not zero, then we can
use T-code  "F-02"  to post ? Or we have to recreate a new G/L account to replace the current G/L account "6492009"?

    1. Why the accounting document posted from the Billing is correct and normal
disregarding the wrong Tax category setup? It shouldn't be posted successfully > First, check your OB40 set up if the output tax account is correctly set up there. The system will still be able to post since the correct tax account assignment is maintained.
    2. How do we change the tax category
in the G/L master from ( '>' output tax) to ( '+' Only output tax allowed) under the balance is not zero, then we can
use T-code "F-02" to post ? Or we have to recreate a new G/L account to replace the current G/L account "6492009"? > you need to create a dummy GL account to transfer the balances from this account to make it zero then change the tax category of 6492009.

  • Bdoc error in SMW01 When Loading Materials into CRM

    Hi,
We have recently done a system copy of our Production System to our Test System in R/3. We are now in the process of loading the Materials into our CRM 2007 Test System from the newly updated Test System in R/3.
However, when loading the objects into CRM we are getting the following BDoc errors in smw01:
Value X02 is not permitted for attribute Product Group 3 Value X02 - X09 is not permitted for attribute Product Group 3
    Area: COM_PRCAT
    Number: 20
We have loaded the object DNL_CUST_PROD1 prior to the load of the MATERIALS object
Does anyone know how this issue could be resolved?
    Thanks,
    Jonathan.

Hi, this error refers to tax customizing so you should check what assingments you have in R/3 and then replicated on CRM.
You can use transaction CRM_TAXCUST_VALIDATE to check the tax errors both in customers and materials.
Then, according to the missing entries you will see on the transaction I told, you shoul check in R/3 tables TSKM and TSTL (used for materials).
In table TSTL you have all the customizing made on R/3 transaction OVK1 and in table TSKM you´ll find the customizing made on transaction OVK4.
The entries made there for your country should be the same ones made in CRM. The customizing path is the following:
SPRO>CRM>Basic Functions>Taxes>Basic Settings>Tax Types and Tax Groups>Assing Tax Groups to SAP ECC Tax Classifications (Products)
Here you have to enter the combination of:
COUNTRYTAX TYPETAX GROUPTAX SEQTAx CL (which you should be able to fullfill after checking the R/3 tables I´ve told you..
Please let me know if it helps,

  • BUPA_MAIN BDOC Error 00 55 - Fill in all required entry fields

    Hi All,
We have CRM 5.2 and i am currenlty having issues with BDOC Error 00 55 from CRM to R3.In our system we have custom code for business partner details changing where we have commit which results in creation of the BDOC.
When we end time slice the custom identification details the BDOC that is generated has the central_data section which is empty i.e the following fields are coming as blank.
    CENTRAL_DATA->DATA->BP_CONTROL->CATEGORY
    CENTRAL_DATA->DATA->BP_CONTROL-> GROUPING
    CENTRAL_DATA->DATA->BP_CENTRALDATA->PARTNERLANGUAGE
    CENTRAL_DATA->DATA->BP_CENTRALDATA->PARTNERLANGUAGEISO
    CENTRAL_DATA->DATA->BP_PERSON->FIRSTNAME
    CENTRAL_DATA->DATA->BP_PERSON-> LASTNAME.
The BDOC goes successfully but it deletes the name1 on sd customer. After that if we have any other change to the same bp then that errors out with error message 00 55 i.e. Fill in all required entry fields.
We have observed that in our custom code there are other places where we call the commit which generates the BDOC and those have central_data section populated with the above mentioned fields and it doesnt delete the name1 on sd customer.
It would be great if anyone can suggest if they have experienced a similar problem with business partner replication from CRM to R3 and how they resolved the same.
The thing to note here is that the ISU BP still has the name and is not deleted but name1 deletion only occurs for SD customer.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jessica

    Hi Jessica,
Were you able to fix this issue of fill all required entries error?
i have a same error with my project too.
Yes, you know me. We worked in the same project earlier, now i am in this new project, where i get the same old error.
    Thanks

  • Tax category number

    hello all,
once created a BP in R/3 itsn't possibile to see it in CRM becuase there is an Error as Tax Category No IN0 does not exist in Tcode SMW01.
I have see the note 407719 but i don't find tha customizing object in table V_TFKTAXNUMTYPE / V_TFKTAXNUMTYPEC in R/3.
have i maintain this table in R/3 sistem before to transfer customizing to CRM?
Please give a solution to me.

    Guiseppe
You need to define the tax groups and types used in R/3 also in CRM - for this refer to the customizing: SPRO->CRM->Basic Settings->Taxes->Basic Setup(?)->Define Tax Types.
For each BP there needs to be a valid combination in there. You can also refer to the best practice guide: Click http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv150/CRM_DE/html/C63_EN_DE.htm and choose Scenario C03: CRM Master and Transaction Data Replication

  • RMDATIND  BMMH2 Tax category classification issue

I am creating material masters using the direct input program RMDATIND.  The structure BMMH2 has the fields for transferring the tax category classification by country.  I have done this many times for sales areas that produce in or ship from several different countries. We now are converting a business that ships from 15 different European countries, each with its own VAT tax classification.  The BMMH1 and BMMH2 structures and the RMDATIND program only allow for a maximum 9 different countries.  If I try to create the material masters with only 9 of the countries, I get the "TAX category classification is not maintained" error.  How do I get around this?

    Hi,
when you say more than 9 tax classifications for a country , the answer is 'No'.
when you say more than 9 countries answer is 'YES'.
    To answer main question..
    1) File should have BMMH2 data.
2)Input structure in LSMW should have all BMMH2 fields
3)If a country has more than one value it should be filled in a single row..
    For ex: - BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA' BMMH2-TATY1 = 'MSWP'  BMMH2-TAXM1 = '0'. BMMH2-TATY2 = 'MSWP'  BMMH2-TAXM2 = '0'. BMMH2-TATY3 = 'MSWP'  BMMH2-TAXM3 = '0'.(means per country one row for tax info)
    4) Fill all the blank fields with NODATA '/' values.
The final BMMH2 structures should look like this...
    BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'US'.
    BMMH2-TATY1 = 'MSWP'.
    BMMH2-TAXM1 = '1'
    Transfer record.
    BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA'
    BMMH2-TATY1 = 'MSWP'
    BMMH2-TAXM1 = '0'.
    BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA'.
    BMMH2-TATY2 = 'MSWP'.
    BMMH2-TAXM2 = '0'.
    BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA'.
    BMMH2-TATY3 = 'MSWP'.
    BMMH2-TAXM3 = '0'.
    transfer record.
    BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'SG'.
    BMMH2-TATY1 = 'MSWP'.
    BMMH2-TAXM1 = '0'
    transfer record.
I have just solved the issue.so let me know if any one has stil queries.
    Thanks
    Sudheer

  • How to find the old BDoc errors in CRM Middleware

    Hi,
Can we find the error BDocs in the past. Please do let me know the way to find out.
e.g. I want to find 3 months prior to the current date.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ramana Rao.

    Hi Denis,
Thanks for the update and I have checked this for the older date.
Is there any way to find out why a material is not replicated to the CRM from ECC.
I am not able to find any BDoc error (any state of the BDoc) with ref to the PRODUCT_MAT.
Our main issue is some of the materials are not replicated and some of them don't have the
descriptons.  As a first step of action we pulled the data from ECC to CRM as a request download but want to investigate the reasons for this.
Secondly there are some changes done at the product hierarchy or category levels (reorganize)
in this case what kind of issues we might come across?  Is there any action list that we need to do at the time of hierarchy or category changes to the Material master in ECC or in CRM.
    Kindly share your inputs.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ramana Rao.

  • Why i can not see the columns of "Tax Category" in transaction code FS00

    Dear Experts,
Why i can not see the columns of "Tax Category" and "Posting without tax allowed" in tab of "Control Data"  transaction code FS00?
How can i add the columns of "Tax Category" and "Posting without tax allowed"?
    Looking forward to your reply.
    Best Regards,
    Merry

    Hi,
Go to transaction OBD4, and check whether the field "Tax category" is suppressed in group "Account control" for your GL account group.
If not, then go to OB26 and check the field status for the same field for create, change activity.

  • Initial Load of IS-U business partners to CRM - bdoc error

    Hi Gurus,
i try to do an initial download from R/3 IS-U to CRM. Several objects from customizing have already been downloaded successfully. When downloading the business partners i get a bdoc error message for every single BP saying that
'business partner role MKK is not available' Number R1206
I figured out that the business partners in IS-U do have that role 'Contract partner' (which is technical 'MKK') and that data is maintained there. I also checked CRM and figured out that a business partner role 'contract partner' is not available there.
Should i create it manually?? It is nowhere mentioned that a CRM role 'contract partner' should be created manually. Shouldn't the middleware do that? I found a document on service marketplace called 'IS-U specifics on the setup and load guide for the business partners' where i can read:
'Sold-to-parties in CRM are replicated as contract partners in the OLTP system and vice versa'
Does that mean that this mapping of roles is hardcoded? Is it customizeable? Does somenone know where to customize the mapping of business partner roles?
    Thank you

Looks like as if you haven't activated the IS-U specific FM "COM_BUPA_MWX_BPS_FILL_ISU" in the BP middleware framework where the conversion between the IS-U role "MKK" and the CRM role "CRM000" takes place:
Check via SM30 table com_bupa_call_fu in the IS-U system if the above FM is activated.
