Tax code with credit
Dears,
pls advise me how to change the existing tax code for example. J1 (MVAT 4% NO CREDIT) to J1 (MVAT 4% *CREDIT)*
need urgent feedback....
Hi,
Tax code non credit means tax value will be added to material cost, and credit means you can take tax credit is it right ?
Correct me if im wrong ? Let me clear your requirement ?
Which version and which tax procedure you are using ? For the above requirement there are separate condition types for BED etc.
For example condition type JMOP is for BED, you can take credit, there is another condition type JMIP for BED, one you maintain this tax will be inventorised i.e. tax value will be added to te material.
Hope its clear.

Tax code with more than one tax rate
Hi,
I am using TAXINN procedure and I created on tax codes with more than one rate. i.e. for service tax I created a tax code S1 with 3 rates as follows
Acc. Key Tax % condition type
VS9 12 JSE4
VS0 2 JES4
VSS 1 JHS4
When I am trying to post a document with the above tax code the system is giving the following error message
Tax code S1 may only contain one assignment line
Message no. FF731
Diagnosis
For direct postings to tax accounts, only tax codes containing exactly one tax line may be used. Tax codes with several rates or a nondeductible portion are not allowed here.
Procedure
Use a different tax code.
For direct postings to a tax account, you might have to define a separate tax code for which only one line with a percentage rate other than zero is active in percentage rate maintenance. All other lines must be inactive.
To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
Could you please let me know how to rectify this problem? I want to post 3 line items for each of base rate, Edu. Cess and Higher Edu.cess.
Advance thanks for your help and

How to deactivate tax code with transport request
Hi expert
We would like to deactivate tax code with transport request instead of manual on production.
Do you know how to?
Thanks in advance.
GreatHi,
You need to do below:-
(1) Deactivate the tax line in test system
(2) Then create a transport request via Export feature in FTXP
(3) Open your target system and then import the transport request via import feature in FTXP.
Then the tax code will get deactivated line in target system also.

Replacing sap isu tax code with sap r/3 while transferring documents
we are using different tax code in SAP ISU then the one used in SAP CORPORATE..is there any way we can replace the tax code used in SAP ISU with the one used SAP R 3 while transferring the documents through ALE
we have used sabstituation rules to populate the GL text and profit centre? can we explore this config to update the tax code?
Substitution in Accounting Documents Financial Accounting (New) > Accounts Receivable & Payable > Business Transactions > Incoming Invoices/Credit Memos > Make and Check Document Settings > Substitution in Accounting Documents
Highly appreciate your help
vinodVinod:
Without knowing how to process your requirements - generally speaking substitution is not supported within FICA. that results in differences between the subledger and ledger - which then are not processable. Your GL reconciliation will likely have issues, and support will be limited at best.
Any substitution-type logic should be done correctly in the subledger prior to transfer.

Error in PO Creation with Excise Tax Code
Dear
I am getting the following error while creating a PO (in sandbox) in MM.
No posting rules exist for account key
Message no. FF714
Diagnosis
No posting rules have been defined for the account key in the tax table in table T007B.
Procedure
Change the tax table, enter an account key already defined for the transaction in question or define the posting rules for a new account key in table T007B.
In sand box, I am making use of VS1(Condition Type JMOP)(10%), VS2(Condition Type JAOP)(2%), VS3(Condition Type JSOP)(1%) & JP5 Condition Type JVRD)(4%)Account keys with deductible nature in one tax code V8. In OB40 GLs are defined. Posting keys 40 & 50 are given. In GL master all tax types allowed * is also given. Also excise data is maintained in the vendor master.
I am not getting the above error if I make use of any other tax code with only one percentage and one condition type. I am getting the above error if make use of the above tax code V8 which is created for excise.
Inputs are hightly solicited.

Unbalanced Transaction with Cenvat Tax Code
Hi All
I have a problem with A/R Down Payment Invoice. When i am trying to add the invoice with Cenvat related Tax code ( BED+VAT)the system is throwing an error which reads as follows:
" Unbalanced Transaction Message 131-91"
But when i am changing the tax code and selecting only Vat Code The A/R Downpayment Invoice is added succesfully.
Can anybody please throw some light on it what is the problem.
Can we use cenvat related Tax Code with A/R Downpayment Invoice or not..?
need your help
warm regards
anandHi Jeyakanthan
Thanks for the reply.Actually our client has a requirement. They do big projects of construction
as a result they receive payment in phases. The payment terms is like
1) 10% advance on receipt of order
2) Raise Invoice for 30% on approval of drawings + 100% taxes & Duties (Cenvat)+ freight
3) Raise Invoice for 40% after Initial inspection
4)Raise Invoice for 20% after final inspection.
Note: Payment terms differ with every order.
For this scenario i think A/R downpayment is ideal. Now when invoice is raised for 30% we are required to show 100% taxes and duties(Cenvat) in the A/R downpayment invoice. How to achieve this.
I have to make an invoice (Print layout report) where i have to show
Total Sales 100%
Claim Value 30% + 100% Taxex and Duties + freight
Retention Money 70% i.e Due from Customer
Your view on this would be of great help..Any alternate method to achieve this.
waiting for your reply.
warm regards

Belgium Tax Code for Invoices & Credit Notes
Hi,
According to SAP note 174811 (Configuring a Belgian Company Code) a distinction must be made between the VAT codes for SD invoices and credit notes:
"... distinction which is obligatory, is the distinction between
invoices and credit notes for which separate codes have to be
created. The reason is that the VAT generated by an input tax code
on credit notes must be posted to an output VAT account instead of
an input VAT account, and reversals of invoices must be seen as an
invoice in minus and not as a credit note."
However the standard MWST condition record does not provide the option of splitting the tax code determination by document type (VK11). Has anyone encountered this issue before or can you suggest a solution to this problem?
Your help is very much appreciated.
Kind regards
PHi Riaan,
Could you confirm your current path set is correct to the shared folder? It should be something like
YourServer\B1_SHR\WordDocs\*LanguageCode*. Check if you have that kind of folder on your B1 shared server.
Thanks,

Tax Code does not exist in the system (T007A)
Hi All
When we try to create a receipt for a particular expense type in ESS Travel & Expenses, we get the follwing error "Tax code Z0 does not exist in the system (T007A)". Upon creating a tax code Z0 it gives the following error "Tax code does not exist in the system (T007A)". When we change the Receipt currency to USD instead of Bristish Pound it gets accepted without the error. It works perfectly fine when expense report created using GUI. The error occurs only when we create the expense report using Portal ESS T&E. I was not able to find anything related to this in the SDN. If any of you could help me out, that would be great.
Thanks, RajHello Mr. Raj!
I checked the related issues that other customers reported.
I came up with a list of things you can try that may help you solve your issue.
a) Check if the field V_706D_B-LAND1 is filled with the home country in the IMG step 'Define Global Settings'. So may I ask you to check. Moreover, if this is not the reason, may I also ask you, if you get the same error when using our backend test transaction PR_WEB_1200? Thank you,
b) Could you please check that you don't have any expense type with value " "(blank) in the tax code field in V_T706B1?
c) Apply Note 1129853 - Web: Input tax code for credit card receipts
d) Please follow in IMG:
Financial Accounting
Travel Management
Travel Expenses
Master Data
Control Parameters for Travel Expenses
Define Global Settings
Input Tax
Country { Your country here }
Enter an input tax code for 0% input tax [ ] <<<
If here it's blank, this must be filled with a tax code. I found this out when I set the field "Input Tax per Travel Expense" then I get a warning "Enter an input tax code for 0% input tax".
The reason for this is that in your system, you don't have a "blank" tax code and it looks for this entry. Please kindly define a tax code in this setting.
I hope I was able to help you with this information.

Automatic line generation in f-02, etc apart from using tax code
Hi,
In f-02, for a tax code with percentage > 0, a line item is generated automatically.
Can we automatically generate a line item in f-02,etc without using T code?
Say,
100 Debit
100 Credit
If we use tax code of 20 percent and simulate,
below is possible
80 Debit
20 Debit
100 Credit
But is below possible ?
On simulation without using tax code (with config only without using User Exit)
100 Debit
20 Debit
100 Credit
20 Credit
Thanks,
Ananthi
good
declare the type of each value of the internal table, than it will take the appropriate value.though you have not exact type for each variable , though values are coming to the internal table it cant able to identify which type of field it is.
thanks

We are using Taxinj tax procedure with different tax codes as per the sale tax like VAT 4 % and VAT 12.5 % ,CST etc.
Now somebody has made the changes in % of sale tax in JIN6 in existing tax code and save it.Then craete the sales order with that tax code(with wrong %) and do the cycle upto Billing.
After knowing all this issue I have made that changes back in that tax code but now systen is not determing the sales tax conditions in pricing procedure.UTXJ condition type is picking the relevant tax code and it also picks the Excise values correctly but not tha sale tax conditions.
In previous open sales orders system is picking the JIN6 but for new orders it is not picking.
What should I do?
Please help me.
Regards
SunilDear Sunil
In FTXP, b4 making changes to the correct percentage, have you clicked on "Deactivate line" ??
You have to make changes only after clicking this tab. Nevertheless in billing document if you want to redetermine VAT percentage, click on "Update" button at the bottom screen and again double click on "G"
thanks
