Tax Procedures and MM pricing procedures

Currently when creating a PO under the invoice tab you can input the Tax code and jurisdiction code.
The tax code I am using is set up for a Canadian Tax procedure (TAXCAJ).
The procedure is calling two tax condition types JC1E (GST) and JC1I (PST). They are both condition class D and they are the same accross other statistics but they differ in condition category. JC1E is condition category 1 and JC1I is condition category 2.
JCIE uses account determination VST while JC1I uses NVV. JC1E needs to be posted to a seperate account as it is partially recoverable.
The real underlying issue here is that tax condition type JC1I comes accross to teh MM condition tab under NAVS but JC1E does not. I need the value from JC1E to come over to the conditions tab as my PO print is driven by this.
Any ideas how to get tax condition type JC1E (or its value) over to the conditions tab. I can make JC1E come over with JC1I but i need JC1E seperate. If you need clarification or more information just let me know.

Hi,
NAVS condition collects the non-deductible portion of the Tax Code and hence only showing JC1I which is a non-deductible condition type.  The logic behind this is non-deductible tax is part of cost, so for updating the stock account at the time of GR with base value + discounts and other pricing conditions + non-deductible tax, NAVS condition type is being used in PO pricing procedure.  JC1E is a deductible type tax and as not being a part of cost it is not updated in NAVS and hence the stock account at the time of GR.
If you want all the tax amounts for PO printing purpose, use JEXS condition type and insert this at the last of the pricing procedure with statistical indicator.  Modify your print program to print value against JEXS instead of NAVS.

  • Diff, bet general SD pricing procedures and Internet Pricing procedure

    Hi,
Will any one give clear picture about the diff, between SAP SD pricing procedure and Internet Pricing Procedure? and what are the areas it differs?. If you mail me any URL / Doc regarding Internet Pricing Procedure  Configuration that will be of great help.
       [email protected]

I hope by internet pricing procedure you mean pricing procedure used in Internet Sales / CRM Online.
Basically, there are no differences. Structure is same. The way pricing procedure is defined & used is same. The only different I would say is, the way you write code for formula & requirements. Usability-wise, they both are same.
    Hope it helps.

  • Service tax condition types in Pricing Procedure in SD(Taxinn)

I need one more advice on Service tax.
I am configuring order type for services. In that in pricing I have to add the service tax conditions type for service tax & cess on that.We do not have any standard condition type in our pricing procedure for services.
Is there any standard SAP doc. to configure service tax condition types in pricing procedure or I have to copy from JLST & JLSR(surcharge). What about the account keys I will used for these condition types.
If you have any doc. related to this issue please send it to me....or suggest me what to do.
Please remeber I am using TaxINN tax procedure.
    Please help me
    Thanks & Regards

    PROCEDURE: Initial Steps
Create two new Tax conditions: JSE4, JES4. Steps for creation of Tax Condition is illustrated below
    Create new condition types
SAP Standard IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check Calculation Procedure. (Transaction OBYZ)
    Select ‘Define Condition Types’
Select Condition Type JIN1 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Condition type as JSE4 and the Name as “Service Tax”.
Select Condition Type JIN5 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Condition type as JES4 and the Name as “ECS on Service Tax”.
Outcome: The two tax conditions, one for Service Tax and the second for Education Cess on Service Tax have now been created.
    1.     Create a new tax posting key VS9 and VS0.
    The path for this is:
SPRO  Financial Accounting  Financial Accounting Global Settings  Tax on Sales/Purchases  Basic Settings  Check and Change Settings for Tax Processing
Select the Processing Key MW1 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Key as VS9 and Name as ‘India Service Tax’.
Select the Processing Key MW1 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Key as VS0 and Name as ‘ECS on Service Tax’.
Note: If there are multiple service tax registration numbers, you need to have separate account posting to different GL accounts based on service registration number. This can be done provided a separate tax code is maintained for each service registration number.
To achieve this you need to define a set of 2 separate G/L accounts for service tax and Education CESS on service tax respectively, for every service registration number.
In such a case, please activate multiple accounts posting per tax code as follows:
Defining the GL accounts for the Service tax and ECS on Service Tax:
SPRO  Financial Accounting  Financial Accounting Global Settings  Tax on Sales/Purchases  Posting -> Define Tax accounts
Go to Details of the Transaction VS9 (Service Tax GL account)  and enter the Chart of accounts…
Select the Tax Code Check Box if you want to have Tax Code Specific GL accounts or Blank when the common GL accounts…

    You use Condition Types as,
    PB00 -- Gross Price
    FRA1 -- Freight
    FRB1 -- Freight (value)
    RA01 -- Discount.    etc.,
    and in Import PO,
the Pricing Procedure has to be defined by including the CVD condition Type like
    JCDB  -- Basic customs duty
    JCV1  -- CVD Percentage
JECV -- Edu Cess on CVD
    J1CV  -- SECess on CVD
JEDB -- ECess Basic customs   etc.,

    in Default values of TAXINN

  • Difference between Sampling Procedure and Sample-drawing procedure

    Friends,
I am new to QM and started learning QM Module. My doubt is what is the difference between Sampling Procedure and Sample-drawing procedure?
The reason for my doubt is, we can determine the sample quantity with Sampling procedure itself. then what is the need of sample-drawing procedure?
Also describe primary, pooled and reserved samples.
    Regards,
    IMIMINT

    Hi,
    Sampling Procedure
    Definition
A procedure that contains the rules for determining the sample size for an inspection. The sampling procedure also specifies the type of valuation to use for results recording (attributive, variable, or manual).
    Use
You assign a sampling procedure to each characteristic in an inspection plan to calculate the sample size.
    Sample-Drawing Procedure
    Definition
A master data object in which you plan the drawing of physical samples. In the sample-drawing procedure, you specify:
Which categories of physical samples must be drawn
How many physical samples must drawn
The size of each physical sample
Whether the drawing of physical samples must be confirmed
    Use
The system uses the information in the sample-drawing procedure together with the information in the inspection plan to calculate the physical sample sizes, and to create physical-sample records when an inspection lot is created.
Primary Sample : It is the sample drawn from the lot directly.
Pooled Sample : It is the sample whcih is combination of 2 or more primary samples.i.e. primary sample sfrom say 3 differetn drums is mixed and tested.
Reserved Sample :sample which is preserved for the testing in future.
    or in other words
    Primary samples (1st stage)
Physical samples drawn directly from a material or batch that will be inspected or used to create pooled samples.
    Pooled samples (2nd stage)
Physical samples to be created by mixing the contents of two or more primary samples from the same material or batch.
    Reserve samples
Primary physical samples drawn from a material or batch reserved for future inspection.

  • Tax code linked with Pricing procedure

    Hi,
How the tax code have been linked with the pricing procedure? Please explain the inter-releationship between TAXINJ and Pricing proceure ? Thanks in advance.
    BK

    Hi,
You have asked two questions in your response, I will answer these seperately.
<i>How the tax code has been linked for the CENVAT creditable items</i>
For Cenvat creditable items, you will have to define tax codes that have values  corresponding to condition types JIP5, JIP6, JIP7, JIP8, JIP8 (in FTXP). Respective G/L accounts will have to be assigned against the Accounting keys by the Finance team. These tax codes can then be used in PO.
<i>How these two pricing procedures have been incorporated in SAP and which one will take precedency</i>
Net price calculated from the pricing procedure you define (which starts with Gross price and includes Discounts and Surchages) is passed on as the Base Amount to TAXINJ. Applicable taxes are calculated on this and the calculated value is passed on to your pricing procedure through the condition types NAVS/NAVM. You should add NAVS / NAMV after the net is calculated. This when added to the delivery costs (freight, forwarding charges) will give you the effective value.
    Hope this answers your queries.

  • Identify TAX condition type from pricing procedure

    Hello,
I need to identify Tax condition type for various countries used in Old sales orders. We are moving to an external Tax engine and I need to identify what condition are being used to calculate tax in various countries. I know the pricing procedure but we have a lot of sales order and there is no documentation available. Is there any table where I can filter based on the sales org from existing sales order and find the Corresponding Tax condition type.
    Regards,
    Amanda

    One option is
you have to execute SE16, input table KONV where you maintain the tax condition type and execute.
System will populate all SD documents that are having that tax condition type.  There you have to copy the field "Doc. condition" and paste it in VBAK table in SE16 so that you will get all sale orders.
    The other option is
you need to identify what access sequence is maintained for that tax condition type which you can see in V/06.  Next go to V/07, select this access sequence and execute.  There check what tables are maintained.  For example, in your case, it could be table 110.  So you have to develop a query by table joining A110 and VBAK in SQVI where you can take sale orders based on sales organisation.

  • Service PO and Service pricing procedure

    Hello,
1 Can any one explain how pricing procedure is defined while creating service PO and how service taxes are captured in po
    2. Senario-The company wants to send a machine for repairing to a vendor. A work order is created and the machine is sent to vendor.
The vendor will be using few components during repairing service.Payment terms-20 % advance ,40% after first inspection, 30% during delivery and final 10% after" FIT" certificate .
Can any one please help me how to map the scenario nos 2 in SAP.
    Regards
    Manash

    Hi,
You can have one  pricing procedure for standard PO & service PO or you can have two pricing procedure separately BUT you should have two separate document type standard PO &  service PO.
You can create a condition type(Cond. Class B, Calculat.type C ,Cond.category H & select Scale basis as quantity in Scales segment)  for service master/ activity type & then add/enter  condition type in  pricing procedure for service master  and also add  a routine"11" in Requirement column for service master condition type.
To capture service tax for service PO, you should have a service tax condition type with a accounting key in tax procedure. Create a service tax code in FTXP, maintain condition record for service tax with service tax condition type in FV11 & you should have a G/L account assigned for service tax with accounting key in OB40.
    For 2nd-Senario
You should send material to Sub-contract vendor with 541 movement type & receive it after repaired from vendor with 542 movement type. For paying of SERVICE RELATED cost, you can create a service order & pay to vendor WRT service order. For  payment terms-20 % advance ,40% after first inspection, 30% during delivery and final 10% after" FIT" certificate , You can create payment term in OME2 and pay accordingly. OR you can have a thought of creating three service entry sheet with respect to service order & do MIRO with respected to individual service entry sheet, once the work performed and then pay to the vendor  in three segments.

  • Header Condtion for RFQ and Conract pricing procedure

    Hi All,
we have configured new pricing procedure purchansing documents.
We are able to see in PO, header and Item condtion types but In RFQ and COntract we are  able to see only at item level.
Please guide us how to resolve this issue.
    Thanks
    Nagaraj K

    Hi,
please check first the document type for the RFQ and the contract you
are using. Was the time-dependent conditions flag set for these document types?
The standard schema for purchasing documents is RM0000. In gross price
condition type PB00, supplementary calculation schema is RM0002.
When updating time-dependent conditions in a purchasing document, the
system will first check the main schema. It will check the first
condition type, which is the gross price condition type PB00 in
standard. It will find the supplementary pricing procedure (RM0002 in
in standard) that is assigned to the gross price condition type. These
are the supplementary conditions that can be included together with
    pb00 for the quotation item.
Table A019 is used for header conditions for contracts, scheduling
agreements and quotations using time-dependent conditions. When you
want to maintain header conditions in the quotation, the system will
check all conditions in standard schema RM0000, to see if any contain
an access sequence that includes table A019. In standard, only condition
type RA01 contains an access sequence which includes table A019.
Therefore condition type RA01 will be proposed for updating in standard.
RA01 is defined with it's own supplementary pricing procedure RM0001.
You will only be able to include condition types that are used together
with RA01 as supplementary conditions from RM0001!

  • Tax Config Issue in Pricing Procedure

    Hi
I am facing a problem while defining condition type for taxes. I have maintained JIVC (CST) as one of the condition type. Under JIVC I have different taxes like with or without C Form.
Now the problem is that a customer sometimes gives C form & sometimes not. So what condition record should i maintain. As while processing sales order only I will come to know that customer will provide C form or not.
    Should I enter CST manually?
Can anyone help me with complete config part.

The configuration for taxes depend on the Tax classification in the customer master and material master.
For the material master, maintain as many tax codes as there are schedules. In INdia the sales tax is determined based on schedules in the act i.e 4th schedule 12.5% 6th schedule 4%....
Classify your customers accordingly. Domestic customers in side the state will have a vat clssification of 1 lets say and CST 0.
Similarly export customers wil be classified as X, Consignment as H, CST customers 2% as 2.....
These indicators you need to put it in the Tax classification in the billing in the customer master record and also in the material master record.
FOr each of these combinations you need to maintian a rate in the Condition record in VK11.
For instance in VK11 chooseJIVC and the combination which has Country/Region of dlv plant/customer class/material class   and maintain a rate 2% in the condition record.
When you do the sales order the system will use this and pick up and calculate 2%.
SAP has  what is called form tracking . Check it out in J1ILN. What it does is if the frm is not maintained for the customer by the time the billing is done, the rate of VAT is applied. For this the configuration needs some change as well to incorporate the VAT rate instead of CST rate.
Another way to get round is to make the JIVC as no restrictions in customising so that manual changes can be allowed.
    regards
    Jude

  • Support a singly report on SQL Stored Procedure and Oracle Stored Procedure

    Hi,
I have a requirement in which I need to create a report that will run both on oracle and sql server.
    Report is designed as follows.
Main report contain 2 sub-reports.Sub-reports are  based on stored procedure that takes three input parameters(beginDate, endDate and hostname which is a comma-separated string).
Main report also have three parameters (beginDate, endDate and hostnameList) that I am linking with both sub-reports.
Since the crystal picks the same name of the parameter as we define in procedure it showing '@' symbol in all the parameters when I change the datasoure from oracle to sql server and that's why sub reports defined in main report loose all the linking and same happens when I switch from sql to oracle since in case of oracle it does not have '@' symbol in variable name.
How can I have one report that work with both DBs without loosing the links.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Amrita

There is no way of doing this in CR. At least not that I've ever heard of anyway.
If you REALLY need to make this work and it REALLY has to be just 1 report... Here is what I'd do...
In the SQL Server database, add a new table that contains the same columns that are being returned by the sp's. If you can't add new tables to the database, use a different database or server...
Create a Linked Server linking the Oracle db to SQL Server. (If you take the 3rd server rout, do the same with the SQL Server)
Write a new sp that will accept the {?WhichServer} parameter and populate the new table with the result set.
Then just query that table for your report.
I know this probably isn't the rout you were wanting to take but it should work...
