Tax rate not picking up
Hi Gurus
In my pricing procedure the tax access sequence contains two access ,one with combination of country/region/region delivering plant/tax classification customer/matrial which is the specific one and second acess which is general one at the bottom with combination country/tax classifcation customer/material tax classification.Althought condition record is maintained in both the acess of the condition table ,the system picks up only the value of second access i.e country/custtax classification/material tax classification.
So please provide me with solution to rectify this error
Hi,
In Sale Order conditions Tab click on the analysis button.
Check the message for the tax condtion type ,whether it is
1. Access not made or
2. Condition record not found.
Based on th analysis proceed.
If condition record is not found then check customer and material master data whether proper tax indicators are maintained and validity dates.
If access is not made then some requirements are not fulfilled. then check whether plant is determined in the sale order etc.,
Hope this helps.

Sharan

Hi All,
WHile running Result analysis with KKA2 the accounting exchange rate not picking correctly.
When we run the KKA2 from may to sep it is taking may month as default rate and it is extending to june aug,sep instead of seperate exchange rates for each month.
We compared all configurations for this RA key with existed RA key .All the setting are one and the same.in OKG2,OKG3,OKG4,OKG5
PLease help ...
Regards,
MohanHi srikanth,
It is not daily exchange rate.
Actually we copied PS LCR RA key to PS IAS.
PS LCR is working fine and it is picking correctly for the respective months.
Where as In PS IAS it is taking starting month and same continuing for other consecutive months.

Service Tax condition not picking during MIRO
Hi,
Referring earlier posted thread,
http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2135441&tstart=0
I want to know insert a Tax Code - VAT for 10% and a Condition Type - Service Tax for 10.3%...
During MIRO, Service Tax Amount is not Picking... Why???
There is any solution for it.....Hi,
If we create Service condition type, then why need to create Tax code in FTXP and maintain in FV11...
Why both things need to create...??
No need to maintain
check for your service tax condition type
Cond. class A Discount or
Calculat.type A percentage
Cond.category B Delivery co
and you have accrual tick for your condition in t-code M/06
also check in your pricing procedure you have assign account key and accrual key for your condition type in t-code
M/08

Current Exng rate not picked SD invoice posting in PROD,it is picked in DEV
Dear All,
We are facing a peculiar problem for sales invoice accounting entries. The problem is related to currency exchange rate. We have created a sales order with some earlier pricing date (01.12.2010).The USD to INR exchange rate is mentioned 47.23% in OB08.The sales order is copying the rate of 47.23% as the pricing date is 01.12.2010. Now we have created a sales invoice in VF01. Now if we see the exchange rate in billing document it is 47.23% as it copies from the sales order.
Now we have maintained Currency exchange rate in OB08 for date 16.07.2011 as 44.22%. After that we posted the sales invoice and the accounting document we found that system is picking the exchange rate based on billing date (the Bline Date) the current one i.e. 44.22%.
This is exactly we want and the test is successful in DEV and QAS server.
The entire process is repeated in the Production server but the result is not successful. The system is not fetching the exchange rate based on Bline date. It is based on the old pricing date exchange rate (47.23%).
How to solve this issue as there is no configuration mismatch between DEV and PRD.Please check the Note -> 1481238

Excise taxes are not picking in MIRO
Hi,
Hello,
We are creating the Imorted PO with Tick of Gr based IV in PO.
And created the Inbound delivery for line item of the PO.
After this we were go for MIGO with ref to PO.
And created the MIGO.
We will pay the Customs duty later.. some special accounts head will pay him monthly.
my question is... In MIRO(layout is planned delivery cost) with ref to PO..... Qty and Amount field is blank.
For one line item of PO,,, we need to enter 7 conditions value in MIRo.... suppose if the PO is having the more than 10 line item. we need to enter 70 conditions..... it may make error....
we want that system should take the values automatically in MIRO
regards
sapman manhi,
in import case u r verifing the invoice of customes before u make the GRN dtas why it is blank.
again
as currency rate keep on changing so it is not advisible to copy the PO value because that will not match to customs invoice.
u need to key in the values manually only.
u can develope one BDC for this if u require and entries are more.
regards,

Tax rate is not appearing automatically in Condition Type of PO
Hi,
input tax is configured and acessed to condition type. In PO if we put the tax % in Tax code . The input tax is generated and adjusted against the vendor. but i want the exact % is to be appeared in the condition type maintained. as because the print preview of PO is not showing any tax amount. If we put the tax rate manually then it is showing. how can i resolve the above issues.

satyajitSatyajit,
As per you reply message,
- You have maintained tax code X5 for MWVS.
- Simultaneously maintained condition record.
- The intention of above two activities are same. First one is formula based to determines tax in PO>Invoice tab> taxes. Second one also determines tax through condition record.
However you are asking tax as PO conditon. That means a manual tax condition. Is it right?
For getting condition rate determination in pricing, you have to maintain condition record for pricing condition type.
Please revert back with more details to better understand.
warm regards

Tax rate is not coming up in PO
Hi,
The rate is not coming for one of the tax condition type in the PO
1)Tax percentage 12 percent is maintained against the condition type in FV11.
2)Calculation schema is proper.
3) Tax code is maintained properly .
this problem has arised after migrating to ECC6.0.Earlier version was 4.7
the base amount in PO is also zero condition type BASB in the tax calc procedureIs the material taxable? Check material master
Also check the invoice tab of the PO to verify if tax code is getting populated and what jurisdiction codes. Then check ftxp for tax rates maintained for that combination or not.

Exchg rate from new exch type X is not picked up in Treasury transactions
Dear All,
I am maintaining a new exchange rate type for treasury transactions called "x". I have made all the settings required for this. Following is the series of steps configured to pick up the exchange rate maintained for type "x" for a Interest rate instrument foreign currency transaction.
*Genaral Settings*
1) Define exchange Rate(E Rt) type 'X'.
2) Define translation ratios for curr translation
X usd inr 1:1
X inr usd 1:1
3) Define new doc type "ZF" with exch rate type "X"
4) Define Exch rate calculation indicator
02 X X
*Treasury settings*
5) Define company code additional data
Rate Calculated 02
Rate type(Debit) X
Rate type(crdit) X
6) Assignment of valuation areas to accounting codes
ER type X
7) Define account determination
Doctype "ZF" assigned to the relevant posting specs
Document Splitting
8) Classify doc types for doc splitting
ZF 0000 0001
9) Exch Rate of "X"
X 01.01.2006 usd 47.36 inr
after maintaining all these details I am trying to post an FC transactio using tcode TBB1. Everything is fine no errors nothing I can post the document also but THE EXCHANGE RATE MAINTAINED FOR TYPE X IS NOT PICKED INSTEAD RATE FOR TYPE M IS PICKED UP".
please advise if i missed something. I am not able to trace why the SAP is picking rate from type M when I made settings to pick the rate from type X.
Rgds
KomalHi
Generally for posting FI documents (which is what this T Code does) , M alone is used which is the standard SAP system functionality. For other purposes like valuation, translation, etc. we can have different exchange rate types.

AP Credit Note picking wrong tax code
Dear All,
When I copy a AP credit memo from an AP Invoice, it is not picking the tax code of the invoice. The tax code column is not active as well. i suspect it is picking the suppliers tax group instead of the invoice from which it is copied. Please advice on how i can resolve this so that it picks the tax code of the invoice.
Kind Regards,
Monil.Hi Monil.....
Have you define the Tax Code Determination?
Or have you created any FMS into the credit note which leads to change the tax code?
Check once please.......

Foreign Currency Payments are not Picking up Exchnage Rates
Hi,
We are on R12.0.6 and while entering foreign currency payments the system is not picking up the exchange rate. It is only allowing us to enter USER exchange rate. The field of exchange rate on Payment form is greyed out and not showing anything.
We have checked the rates and these are present in system. The same rates are picked up by invoice entry screens but for payments it gives us no exchange rate found.
Has anyone faced this problem.Well, it seems that the "Exchange Rate" field on the Payment form populates when the user selects the Bank Account before the Payment Date field. Previously we were entering the information first in the Payment Date field and than selecting the Bank Account. This was preventing the Exchange Rate field from being populated with the rate.
I just changed the order of the entry and it worked perfectly. Now first we select the bank from which payment is going to take take place and than the date, and the exchange rate is automatically picked up from the rates table.
